My latest in PJ Media:
The world is so crazy these days that if you enunciate unpopular truths, people who are supposed to be moral authorities will pressure you to retract and apologize. A Roman Catholic priest in Ilhan Omar’s Minnesota, the Rev. Nick VanDenBroeke, has been compelled by Catholic authorities to apologize “for saying in a sermon that Islam was ‘the greatest threat in the world’ to the United States and Christianity.” This is rather like making a man apologize for saying that water is wet, but that’s where we are these days.
The whole episode, which unfolded this week, encapsulates a great deal of what is wrong with the contemporary Catholic Church and the imperative of “interfaith dialogue,” and illustrates the apparently impenetrable confusion people have today between criticizing ideas and discriminating against human beings. The implications are also much larger than just Rev. Nick VanDenBroeke and the Catholic diocese of St. Paul, Minnesota. This incident illustrates a deep sickness in American society: when telling the truth earns you rebukes and condemnations, we’re all in trouble.
VanDenBroeke landed in hot water “for saying in a sermon that Islam was ‘the greatest threat in the world’ to the United States and Christianity.” Let’s see. There have been over 36,000 jihad attacks around the world since 9/11, each committed in the name of Islam and in accord with its teachings. Jihad groups routinely call for jihad massacres in the United States and of Americans.
As for Christianity, in 2019, Christians faced “extreme, very high or high levels of persecution” in 73 countries, affecting 245 million Christians. In the Middle East, the Christian share of the population has shrunk to about 5 percent (if that), down from more than 20 percent at the turn of the last century. The decline attests to a century of ruthless persecution — bookended by the Greek, Armenian, and Assyrian genocides committed by Turkey a century ago and the recent one attempted by ISIS. The ten worst countries in the world today for Christians, with the worst ranked first, are North Korea, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, Eritrea, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran — eight Muslim countries, one with nearly fifty percent Muslim population, and North Korea.
So is Islam a threat to the United States and Christianity? That is obvious. But when VanDenBroeke noted this, those earnest patriots at the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) complained, and no one involved seems to have pointed out that CAIR has ties to Hamas, and has opposed virtually every counterterror initiative that has ever been proposed or implemented.
There is much more. Read the rest here.

Fr. Nick VanDenBroeke has seen Islam up close in Little Somalia, Minnesota. So he is not guessing when he makes the statement. He accurately observes that Islam is very dangerous … promoting thuggishness, misogyny, segregation and vigilantism.
Allah commands Muslims to be his bounty hunters commissioned with subjugating and enslaving the dirty kufaar. Muslims are allowed to use practically any means foul or fair to humiliate and subjugate the KUFAAR.
Islam is extremely dangerous, especially to those considered the NEAR NEIGHBORS of Muslims.
I bet there have been many unexplained acts of vandalism against churches in Little Somalia.
Father VanDenBroeke’s superiors are trying to prevent Christians from being targeted. They will now have to move Father VanDenBroeke to another parish.
I repeat the accurate assessment of Islam by Fr. Henri Boulad (a life-long student of Islam):
“The radical Islamism that has been loosed in Syria and Iraq (ISIS) is NOT a deviation or a perversion of an alleged ‘true’ Islam, whose orientation is purely spiritual and religious. In fact, it is the most traditional form of Islam.” – Fr. Henri Boulad SJ.

I would not say they are worse than the Nazis in their present situation but they might be if they ever got sufficient power. Saying thus is to diminish how really awful the Nazis were even to their own people. Unfortunately many people of the millennial generation have no idea as they are too far removed from the era and are not sufficiently educated or even interested enough to research it.

Though not religious myself, looking back historically at the Catholic Church, though not accepting its theology, I have admired it for its moral principles, its intellectual aspects and its toughness (think, as examples, Pope Leo I, Pope Gregory I, Pope Urban II, Pope Paul III, Pope Innocent XI, Pope Benedict XIV, Pope Benedict XVI, Erigena, Anselm, Thomas Aquinas, Duns Scotus, William of Ockham, et al.).
But now we have a pusillanimous Catholic Church, a pathetic Catholic Church, which has gone from hiding sexual abuse scandals by its clergy to regularly making apologies for the worst religion of all time, Islam.
This is tragic in the extreme, and it matters not if you are personally a Catholic or even religious, because one knows or should know that much of the success of Western Civilization, not all of it of course but much of it—intellectually, artistically, courage-wise, wisdom-wise, et al.—is intricately tied up with Roman Catholicism remaining strong, tough, sapient and succeeding in its mission here on Earth to inculcate in mankind that the individual matters greatly and that mankind has both a destiny and a purpose (and even assuming these “great things” are fiction, they are necessary fictions for mankind to operate optimally—and one knows this or should know this).
Sadly, immensely sadly, I aver that the Roman Catholic Church is no longer succeeding in its mission here on Earth. Quite the contrary. This is a tragedy of the first dimension and what it betokens for Western Civilization is ominous. The forced apology from the cleric mentioned above serves as merely one of way too many examples of how the Catholic Church is no longer what it used to be, what it should still be.

Wellington,
A wonderfully written and accurate post, my compliments.
There are still a lot of wonderful Roman Catholic priests, I’ve known many, but the Roman Catholic Church itself continues on its downward trajectory – “led” by Pope Francis.
GreekEmpress says
Hi Mr. Lincoln,
You are so right—there are still a lot of wonderful Roman Catholic priests. Unfortunately, a lot of Catholic parishes are following the Pope’s lead on the downward trajectory.
I found a good, solid Eastern Rite church and we are blessed with a priest that isn’t afraid to take a stand. Eastern Rite recognizes the pope, and we pray for him (mostly that he’ll wake up) but other than that we have our own hierarchy and our orthodox liturgy.
James Lincoln says
GreekEmpress,
Much thanks for the reply.
Glad that the Eastern Rite church is working out for you…

Reply to Patti: find a priest, religious order or bishop who is ISLAMO-SAVVY and send your offerings there and tell your priest and bishop you are doing so. If thousands of Catholics do that, the church will do something about the pope.

The Anglican (Episcopalian) Church in New Zealand is as lily-livered as any. In the aftermath of the Christchurch mosque shootings last year there was a move to discard the name Crusaders from the local very successful rugby team. I wrote to the local Anglican bishop and after a long delay received a reply to the effect ‘Better I don’t get involved’
Here’s the text of my letter:
Your Grace
I am writing to you as the leader of the Anglican Church in Christchurch.
My concern is that calls to remove the name ‘Crusader’ and its attendant regalia and theatrics, is admitting ‘guilt by association’ for the recent Mosque killings.
I know of no written or video claim from the alleged perpetrator, that he was committing these acts as an element of Christian faith and it seems to me that whoever made the link, was in fact engaging in an opportunistic effort to discredit our Christian heritage.
Christians in North Africa, Iberia, France and Austro-Hungary had been under sustained attack by Islamic forces for hundreds of years. The mounting of the Crusades was a very belated reaction to that violence.
The Battle of Tours/Poitiers is seen as the apogee of Muslim incursion into Western Europe, yet it occurred some 400 years BEFORE the first Crusade. Also, much is being made of the violence of the Crusaders, yet the only contemporary account available about the Muslim Armies as they entered France across the Pyrenees is: ‘They moved across the land like a dark cloud’. One doesn’t need much imagination to glean the reality.
Apart from the history, the present day situation is also relevant. In the UK, there is a well-supported and successful rugby club named the Saracens. A look at their website shows imagery and text that seeks to align the bravery of original Saracens with the club’s efforts on the field. I know of no suggestion that the name and imagery of Saracens Rugby Club is an ‘in yer face’ to Christians, nor was there any backlash against the club after Manchester Arena and multiple other atrocities by individuals claiming to represent Islam.
Finally, let’s look at it from the viewpoint of Muslim migrants and refugees, seeking to make their homes in the Christian West and elsewhere.
Isn’t it part of their acculturalisation and integration, that they encounter Christian symbolism and practice on a daily basis? This reality should be made clear to these people by refugee and immigration officials and I’m sure it is. Going further, I ask would the leaders of Hindus (India), Shintoism (Japan) or Thailand (Buddhism), be expected to put aside some artefact of their religions to atone for a similar tragedy in their countries?
In summary, why then should there be a community-generated move against Crusader-brand rugby in New Zealand, when it passes no historical test and when compared with the Saracens situation in the UK, passes no current test of opinion either?
I’m sure you will seek the wider guidance of priests and laity, but I urge you to correct this over-the-top ‘mea culpa’ behaviour by misguided groups of Canterbury people.
Note Christchurch is the provincial capital of Canterbury.
mortimer says
Thumbs down to the idiots in the Church of NZ. They are ‘idiots’ for thinking they can understand Islam without reading several books that include Islam’s primary source texts (Koran, Sira, Bukhari) and the canonical commentaries and books on the jihad doctrine, Al Walaa wal Baraa (Islamic apartheid), the taqiyya doctrine and the NEAR-ENEMY doctrine.
Islam is dualistic and HIGHLY CONFUSING as a result. Islam’s teachings are ALL based on the essential principle of BAIT-AND-SWITCH.
No doctrine in Islam exists without a paired CONTRADICTORY DOCTRINE which annuls, abrogates or supersedes it under various circumstances.
Anyone who believes Islam behaves like Christian theology (which uses Aristotelian logic) is UNINFORMED, UNREAD, UNSTUDIED and hoplessly CLUELESS.
Message to cleric trying to give emotional support to Islam: READ THE DAMN PRIMARY SOURCE TEXTS of Islam!

Yes–it is not just the Catholic Church that is riddled with dhimmis.
Rufolino says
So, the Catholic Church’s “mission here on earth has been to inculcate that the individual matters greatly” ??
Not true. The Catholic Church has always been much more interested in enforcing conformism, than in the interests of the individual. You only have to glance at the history of the Catholic Inquisition. (which is still there under another name.)
The Catholic Church is not the home, and never has been, of those who have the courage, the intellect, and the integrity to think for themselves. “Free thinkers” are an abomination to Catholicism.
mortimer says
The mission of the Roman Catholic Church is not to preach ‘individualism’, but universal love extended to the world, including Muslims.
These misguided, flaky clerics are AVOIDING the church’s Great Commission to convert the world (including Muslims) to Christianity.
‘Go into all the world preaching the Gospel and baptizing them …’ – Jesus
Wellington says
Rufolino: Virtually all religions preach conformism and so singling out the Catholic Church for this is really of no merit. What I am impressed by with both Judaism and Christianity is that these two religions above all others place an emphasis on the dignity and worth of the individual and thus work best with democratic tenets.
As for free thinkers within the Catholic Church, many have existed, especially great philosophical thinkers like Erigena, Anselm and Aquinas. Yes, I know for a while Aguinas was persona non grata in Catholic circles but he eventually became the Angelic Doctor of the Catholic Church, which I think is a good thing since Aquinas was an Aristotelian and not a Platonist and this allowed for more of an appreciation of this world contra the Platonic approach of not really having much regard at all for this earthly existence.
I do think that it took the Protestant world to create America because of it’s baring itself directly to the God Christians believe in rather than all the intermediary aspects of Catholicism which, though often beautiful, arguably serve as an impediment to direct action which is one of many pre-conditions that must exist for democracy to flourish. But it is to the Catholic Church’s credit that it eventually came around after some resistance to embracing secular, democratic government, really beginning with the pontificate of Leo XIII (1878-1903), who, by the way, insured that Roman Catholicism became the first major Christian sect to accept Darwin’s evolutionary teachings in his 1893 encyclical, Providentissimus Deus. Leo didn’t specifically endorse Darwin but neither did he condemn his ideas as many Protestant sects did, as some Protestant sects still do.
Surely you can see when all things are considered that Roman Catholicism in the modern world has no problem with democratic principles, contra Islam big time. One can be a devout Roman Catholic and yet fully embrace and admire the Constitution of the United States of America without a conflict existing at all between Catholic doctrine and the Constitution. No way a person can be a devout Muslim and fully pledged to the American Constitution. It’s an either/or here which can’t be said of Roman Catholics.
Finally, respecting the Inquisition, I’m not going to defend it very much. I guess religious uniformity was necessary in past centuries when the mindset was one king, one law and one faith. But do keep in mind that the Spanish Inquisition put to death fewer people in three and a half centuries than did Muslim terrorists in any given full year since 9/11. Indeed, one can actually find just one month (e.g., November 2014) when Muslim terrorists worldwide put more people to death in the name of their warped religion than did the Spanish Inquisition over the course of its entire existence.
Your turn if you care to respond. Take care.

Just so the Catholic Doctors of Theology know,if they think that allah the ARAB god of islam is the SAME as the Christian God..as they surely will have missed completely these things in their studies..
1]The koran DENIES the Crucifixion of Christ {koran 4:157}
2]The koran DENIES the Trinity{koran 4:171}
3]allah completely misunderstands the Theology of the Trinity:he thinks Christians believe MARY{yes that’s right,MARY} is in the Trinity alongside allah and Jesus.
Note that this means the absence and denial of the HOLY SPIRIT{that aspect of God necessary to understand Him}
4]the koran shows the ABSENCE and denial of the Holy Spirit
the Gospel shows the PRESENCE and confirmation of the Holy Spirit
5}islam’s Doctrine of Hate,al walaa wal baraa is in violation of the 2 chief commandments of God especially the 2nd one{lev 19:18}and the immoral teachings of the koran do not confirm with the Exodus 20 laws
6]the koran CURSES Christians for believing in Jesus koran 9:30
Given the above information,to say that allah is the SAME as the Christian God is either a lie or a sign of wilful ignorance.
Pope francis the jesuit politician and showman in Rome,he says they are the same but Theologically and logically this is evidently IMPOSSIBLE:any christian who says this is DENYING the Holy Spirit and is a de facto liar.

I could easily cut and paste my comment from the article about the ‘justice minister’ who accused the teenage girl.
I’ve seen it in many sectors of society now. We’ve reached that critical tipping point. People who are speaking the truth, speaking out against evil, and calling sin for what it is; sin, are falling into all kinds of hot water and unjustified penalties, such as loss of employment, etc. Just as in the days of the nazi’s we will be tested. Are YOU willing to keep on speaking the truth in the face of evil? Or are you going to remain silent and ‘shut up’ to save yourself? Which is exactly why, during the nazi reign, the pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer went to jail and had written the book, “The Cost of Discipleship.” (Not an endorsement of everything the guy ever said, of which I don’t know all of anyway.) Most would be surprised, but the goal of this life is not to ‘die with the most toys.’ I used to live in South Orange County and it got swamped by the rich over the years and many cars used to have a bumper sticker that read; “He who dies with the most toys wins.” They could not have been more wrong! That is not the goal of our lives, and our eternal destination depends on what decisions we make here. Folks can gain the whole world in exchange for their soul! Discipleship is a daily act. Jesus told us to ‘carry our cross DAILY.’ No breaks from that!
If you say the right stuff, NEVER apologize for it!

But today, unless one engages in “group think” with those who espouse islam, support moslims, or just wish to profit in some way, either directly with money or indirectly by not being physically attacked…the average person will not be allowed to tell the truth about islam or moslims and their global goals.
He should not have apologized, but probably did so to keep his job. That’s sad. No job, no position, no amount of money, no recognition by the world, no approval of liars, is worth denying the truth

Oops, how dare this priest tell the truth! That’s not allowed. Actually, it must be very, very difficult for this priest or any other person, who has told the truth as he sincerely sees it and then is told that he must take it back and must apologise, surely insincerely, for speaking that truth. People have to follow their conscience and speak the truth and not have to bite their tongue and tell politically correct lies. I do commend this priest for at least having a go at getting the truth out there, as I think he would have known it would get him in trouble. People like Robert Spencer, Christians who know a hell of a lot about Islam’s nature, will do me when I want to learn about islam. So many church leaders seem gutless and pathetic to me these days. Some of the old historical Popes that Robert Spencer mentions in “The History of Jihad” understood how evil Islam was and told it exactly as it was back in those days. They were admirable people. When it comes to islam, I believe “interfaith dialogue” is a complete waste of time and seen by Muslims as a sign of weakness. If that is what the Church is trying to carry out, then it is an exercise in futility and they should wake up.

The anger at the Catholic Church or the Preist for speaking up, was misplaced. It was up to our national securitys’ duty to study the enemy, and figure out why mostly Saudi’s , an Egyptian and other crew members were from ME Islamic countries and flew planes into buildings on 9/11, and was daring enough to strike at the Pentagon. They had already planned and executed an attack on the towers in 93, just used a different method. Meanwhile many attacks happened worldwide. Our national security thought we could throw money at terrorism and bingo it is solved, that did not work and they had an indication of an incoming threat. I think they knew they declared war on the U.S., but still could not concieve that a relgion and the freindly, anti war declaration were wartimes fibs, and why would an business partner attack us. ME advisors would never suggest they were aware of deception , I think their strategic information about being a religion and the pious denials of threats, and the information they developed on our culture was successful easy pickings. Then three presidents also denied terror could come from this relgion’s goal of world conquest. After 9/11 some did identify the origin, but not all, even though they were all Islamic; so was their an internal goal? This preist is correct on his information, he has recognized the signs and may have even read the Quran. It is that we the U.S was outsmarted since Islam is defied as a religion and the identity is being held hostage by religious freedom and deception. They want to control our land, not be dominated and bring sharia law. And selling war planes to an enemy, training the enemy for a competitive conquest, I doubt would have happened if not for the control of information by our enemy, to further their goals aided by the internal deep state and years of laying the ground work to take control with legal warfare and financial influence, by suppressing our speech, threatening our cities, attacking our police and allowed to set up+ mosques in 50 states mainland and pracitice deception on our population. And it has a large amount of mosques in strategic locations, around military bases, oil center, and near access to water and if we don’t act and inform soon…they might succeed.

I just want to clarify, I don’t defend the pressure applied to a Priest in the Minnesota district to amend his truthful statement about Islam and apologize, considering his district, he was a lone truthful, brave voice verifying the Islamic terrorism and persecution of Christian and Jewish people in the U.S. and around the world. The pressure that bore down on his statement, is Islamic law of slander, a crime of sharia law to criticize Islam even if true, we may see it manifested as “hate speech”. It is the atmosphere of suppression and deception by Islam about itself that in my opinion that resulted by the failure to defend the Constitution and the lives of our soldiers against sedition that responsibility was that of the national security and the ingenius campaign by an organizations representing itself as a religion, but it s a legal system and political movement. The ignorant support by three previous presidents who may have never read the Quran,or Haddiths or Sunnah that were misled by omission of doctrine, and one previous President who did know but it was his islamic mission, with a smile to maintain the goal and open the door. My first contact with a person who carried a Quran, spoke the truth about it’s goal, back in the 60’s, as a young teenager what a new student relayed to me seemed scarey to me as a teenager, and her predictions bit by bit came back as the alarm I felt with each conversation we had, unfortunately, that sounded gruesome, strange, came to awareness as terror events started to unfold in the news a year of so later. That drove me to this site, and to the writings of, experts of Spencer, Stephen Coughlin, to see exactly what was happening but the process is embedded and I thank you Spencer for your work.

Maybe I’m wrong, but this priest would now seem to be lying and going against what he knows to be the truth about Islam.

I suppose it is to do with being obedient towards the higher church authorities. And God bless you and the work you do from a Christian believer, though, no doubt, a very flawed one indeed. Father Portella, that was a very interesting interview in the Catholic Register. You see the truth about Islam very clearly, much like Robert Spencer, and it is surely very important that there are clergy, such as yourself, who can see the truth about Islam’s nature so clearly, because there do seem to be so many members of the church ( most notably the current Pope) who tend to sugar-coat things when talking about Islam and who seem to refuse to face up to the unpalatable truth. I hope plenty of people read your book and have their eyes opened.

And what happened to Freedom of Speech? And who made you apologize? If we don’t stand up for what is the truth, then we are doomed. Islam is the enemy. There own people will not say anything bad about terrorism. Do we Christians go around killing in the name of God? The true Islamic religion was hijacked by Muhammad.

i.e: “I am SO sorry to have allowed reality to creep into my sermons! As a professional fantasist, I should have known better than to impugn other professionals’ fantasies, no matter how historically and presently murderous they might still be!”

Tell the to, “Stuff it!” He has nothing to apologise for! Wherever Muslims go they have deliberately & cynically caused murder, rape & mayhem. They have absolutely NOTHING to the World & Mankind except this 7th. Century psycho babble dressed up as a religion. If it was not for this collusion in permitting this insane migration to the Western World, Islam would be collapsing. to keep the masses in line, their Leaders have to encourage the migration so they men can rape & loot & the women get a breather from all the crap they have been subjugated to for centuries. “nobody suffers like the women of those who believe.” Ayisha, Mohammed’s favourite wife said those words. This priest has been bought off for simply stating the TRUTH! It really is time to take to the streets & throw this lot out & their Apologists.
Robert Powers says
People should also remember that the Vatican and the Catholic church helped Nazi war criminals escape before the end and after the end of WW2….and helped them get to south America….
Catholic people are not bad but many in the the leadership are supporters of terrorism and if the truth be known, anti-semitic…did almost nothing to protect Jews and other persecuted groups in WW2…

The Catholic Church saved more Jews than any other body.

If the Catholic authorities really believed in interfaith dialogue, instead of muzzling this guy they would arrange a discussion ( such as a debate ) on the issue ” Is Islam the greatest threat to the west?”
Rooster says
Wow, there may be hope for Catholics after all. Where there’s one who speaks the truth, there are many more hiding in the shadows. It’s past time we cast our cloak of darkness and shine the light on the evil that is consuming the world. ISLAM IS THE NUMBER ONE ENEMY OF HUMANITY!
No Muzzies Here says
“Catholic authorities” are the ones forcing this priest to recant for saying the truth. Perhaps those “Catholic authorities” are beholden to the “Muslim-friendly authorities” who are in charge in Minnesota.

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no RELIGION, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace.

Are you willing to kill or die for your religion?
Many Mohammedans are!

“imagine there’s no islam”
In fairness, many other world RELIGIONS do not behave the way muslims do, do not support murdering the innocent because they have different beliefs,do not have a totalitarian supremacist ideology that wants to rule over everybody through deceit and by force and expect them to pay a Jizya tax for the privilege.
There are no Jain suicide bombers.
Sikhs won’t force you to convert to Sikhism
Hindus don’t want to rule the planet.
Buddhists are not likely to force you to pay a jizya type tax.
Authentic and sincere Christians won’t murder you for being non-christian
{If that happened they would disqualify themselves from being christians}
Religiously observant Jews are hardly likely to fly planes into buildings.
{As like Christians,they follow a Commandment System: muslims don’t.They follow a different god alLAH}
It is the followers of islam who cause all the trouble giving all other world religions a bad name:and it is all down to their Arab god alLah,their “prophet” muhamed and their ‘holy’ book,a political-religious instruction manual that gives them the freedom to act the way they do.

I guess he is now speaking the truth. The danger of Islam is now superceded by the dhimmi progressives afraid to speak the truth about Islam being the greatest threat to the world.
Walter Sieruk says
Just wondering , could there be a chance that the higher up’s who make up the Vatican had strongly pressured that priest to apologize for speaking the truth which is that Islam is the greatest threat in the world.” because the Roman Catholic clerics who compose the Vatican are not so much interested the truth about Islam becoming known rather they are only interested in protecting property damaged to the many place owned by the Roman Catholic Church which include Cathedrals churches sacred shrines ,monasteries ,nunneries by offended jihadists who felt provoked into engaging in jihad bombing on those Roman Catholic sites under the excuse the the word spoken by a priest of the Roman Catholic Church incited them to violence ? For as every intelligent person knows that “Evil is always looking for an excuse.”

There is a small remnant of Catholic priests un-contaminated by Vatican II heresies who maintain the Catholic faith in small isolated and persecuted parishes around the world….The official Catholic Church is a pretender, a false Church headed by heretics, homos, communists, effeminate men and just plain un-believers. It is this morally corrupt crowd that controls the machinery at this time. We throw them all into a bag labelled “Modernist” which is a heresy that infects the entire Church…it started before Vatican II but its
crowning achievement was Vatican II…There are a few who resist it, but we are a minority, shunned by the so-called “shepherds”, the cowardly and effeminate bishops.
My priest said this weekend that no one is saved through Mohammed, Buddha , Pachamama, or anyone else except Jesus Christ….but very few priests have the supernatural courage to resist their useless bishops as he does….I have only met a few….

Thank you Mr. Spencer for continuing to bring the truth about Islam and for giving many of us a daily point of reference!

The Catholic faith is based on reason. It teaches nothing you can’t reasonably believe in.I should know I am a convert. However that does not mean that its clergy and bishops can’t fall into error and heresies wouldn’t flourish at certain times in history. We are all sinners and there have been weak and bad popes before in its two thousand year history. Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 said the errors would reach right to the top of the Church and they have. However, we have Christ’s promise that He will be with the Church He founded until the end of time so faithful Catholics needn’t be worried All they need do is find a traditional, faithful Catholic priest where they can go to Mass. There are plenty of them left and they can just get on with their Catholic Christian lives as Our Dear Lord taught us.

Interesting enough…I believe a lot of people around the Globe already sensed what the Catholic Priest uttered. …in my own, humble, case, I wrote exactly these words some 10 years ago…of course as a ‘dangerous and forbidden opinion’…hidden in a drawer, jotted down, scribbled, on a piece of paper…
