“What Obama, John Kerry and Hilary [sic] Clinton did to Nigeria by funding and supporting [Muhammadu] Buhari in the 2015 presidential election and helping Boko Haram in 2014/2015 was sheer wickedness. The blood of all those killed by the Buhari administration, his Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram over the last five years are on their hands.”
No one in the Western establishment media, of course, will ask Obama, Kerry, or Clinton about this.
“Former Nigerian Minister Faults Obama for Slaughter of Christians,” by Martina Moyski, ChurchMilitant.com, February 21, 2020:
LAGOS, Nigeria (ChurchMilitant.com) – While former President Barack Obama is taking credit for the current surge in economic growth and job creation in the United States, a former Nigerian minister is blaming him and key members of his cabinet for the slaughter of Nigerian Christians at the hands of Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram.
Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s former Minister of Culture and Tourism, faults the Obama administration for backing 2015 presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari, a Muslim. Buhari won the nation’s presidency and afterward, Fani-Kayode said, went soft on Boko Haram.
“What Obama, John Kerry and Hilary [sic] Clinton did to Nigeria by funding and supporting [Muhammadu] Buhari in the 2015 presidential election and helping Boko Haram in 2014/2015 was sheer wickedness,” said Fani-Kayode, the country’s former Minister of Culture and Tourism. “The blood of all those killed by the Buhari administration, his Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram over the last five years are on their hands.”
In a Feb. 12 Facebook post, the minister, who was campaign chief for former Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan, said that upon Buhari’s election, he canceled contracts to eradicate the terrorists.
Fani-Kayode stated that had Donald Trump been president of America in 2015, matters “would have been very different.”
“Boko Haram would have been history and the Fulani herdsmen [a mostly Muslim group also attacking Christians] would never have seen the light of day,” he said.
The former minister backed up his statements by highlighting a January Al Jazeera interview with a former military contractor whose company was hired to eradicate Muslim terrorists in Nigeria.
Eeben Barlow, chairman of a private army group called “Specialized Tasks, Training, Equipment and Protection International,” explained that he was subcontracted in 2014 to assist the Nigerian government under then-president Goodluck Jonathan to help eradicate the Boko Haram threat.
During the interview, Barlow says that one of the first acts of then-incoming president Buhari in 2015 was to terminate his contract.
“In one month, we took back terrain larger than Belgium from Boko Haram. We were not allowed to finish because it came at a time when governments were in the process of changing,” said Barlow.
“The incoming president, President Buhari was heavily supported by a foreign government, and one of the first missions was to terminate our contract.”
When asked, Barlow identified the United States as the “foreign government,” adding it “funded President Buhari’s campaign” as well as providing a campaign manager.
Fani-Kayode took Barlow’s interview comments to affirm that Obama, Kerry and Clinton share responsibility for the terrorism and bloodshed taking place in Nigeria today.
He said that he predicted the bloodshed caused by Boko Haram “throughout the 2015 presidential campaign but Nigerians would not listen.”
“Those of you that still love the evil called Barack Obama should listen to [Barlow’s interview] and tell me if you still do,” said Fani-Kayode….

Former Nigerian cabinet Minister Femi Fani-Kayode is speaking the unvarnished truth. Pres.Buhari is not doing his job of enforcing the law and defending the basic human right of the right to life.
Fani-Kayode is also right about the Clintons and Obama who seem to have made a conscious decision to shield Islamic jihad groups from opposition or even criticism.
Fani-Kayode’s denunciation of Obama is something many of us agree with but Fani-Kayode cannot be criticized of ‘racism’ for condemning jihad and Obama in the same breath !!!

Well mortimer says, Pres. Buhari is enforcing and defending the law he believes in, that is sharia.

Mortimer,
I agree with you but I hope you don’t object that I add a little. In Nigeria, there is common feeling that no honest person could be elected and if he were, he would be killed and history bears this out. When I worked in Abuja at the Embassy, I would ask some of the local staff and even church members why the Muslims seem to win all of the elections to which he replied; “The Christians, who outnumber the Muslims, are too busy trying to earn a living rather than getting involved in politics.” This attitude, unfortunately, is seen in national elections. If the voters in Oyo, Lagos, Kogi, Edo and other non Muslim states would put aside their differences and vote as a block, Nigeria could have a functioning, not necessarily honest, government but until then I see little hope. My wife and I fell in love with the Nigerian people which makes us cry at times when the non Muslims don’t stand up and say enough is enough.

Thanks for that background information, Ray.

Maybe the non-muslims have their reasons? A quite uncivilized, age-old torture method is often used in Nigeria, it’s called TABAY (I read a description but was not inclined to watch a video). This is Africa’s #1 oil-rich country, the one that PM Trudeau visited just hours before that car fire attack on Feb. 10th (he wants to ‘trade’ and get a vote to help put him in the UN – but of course he signals that he wishes to help Buhari “fight terrorism” – fat chance, I imagine). I wonder what others make of this?
I enjoyed a comment made by no body on the relevant JW article:
“All Africans hate Nigeria. Ask anyone from Uganda, S. Africa, Ghana, S Leone, Morocco? All of them hate Nigeria. That place is the ass crack of hell.”
Trudeau will probably have an open door policy for the Fulani “herdsmen”.

As far as I can tell Obama did not care about Christian persecution anywhere in the world. He was pro-muslim as Jihad Watch and The History of Jihad from Muhammed to ISIS, has fully demonstrated. so this is not really surprising.
It would be interesting to know how much US money funded the Muslim Presidental candidate and whether under Nigerian law the foreign funding of candidates, which is blatent outside interference, is legal.
Of course we have many American foreign policy decisions over the decades that have been made without any concern about what might happen to anyone. The US supported the Afghan Islamic fighters against Russia in the 1980s without bothering to discover what they believed or what would happen once the Russians left. What they got was the Taliban. Same principle was applied to South America where the US supported brutal anti-Communist dictators and even plotted to destroy democratically elected governments then of the ‘wrong’ political complextion. Think Peru.
If what this African is saying there’s a case to make against the Obama administration leading to some sort of legal move against them in an international court. What they supported if true is a continuing crime against humanity. J

Obama is a closet muslim, so of course he supported Boko Haram, or at least is sympathetic towards them.
Clintons just want power, and will bed down literally with anyone to get it. In fact they seem to prefer dirty people over good souls. Look at Weinstein and Epstein as simple examples.
Since Barack was president, Hitlary did what her muslim boss said- go persecute some Christian’s.

Interesting how the murder of all the boys by being burned alive in Nigeria is never mentioned only the taking of the girls and auctioning them off for marriage. Sure Boko Haram is responsible, but our media should also be held responsible for ignoring the whole truth.

Nigeria: Former Minister says Obama, Kerry, Hillary Clinton helped enable Muslim persecution of Christians
……………….
This is grimly true.
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
What’s happening in Nigeria is a shame and a travesty that, for some mysterious reason, goes virtually unreported in the West. Maybe it’s because it’s *black* Christians being murdered.
Who can forget the Miss World contest held in Nigeria about a decade ago. Riots ensued the contest as Moslems went into a full-on mob riot in their rage over scantily clad contestants. Guess who owned Miss World at the time.

I agree to that statement. May be we can add the pope
Carol the 1st says
@janwog…I assume you might mean the pope’s demise? Some may be tempted to say “From your mouth to God’s ears”. He led Ash Wednesday ceremonies and is now coughing and feels unwell. There was singing and praying from the hundreds gathered round the altar – AND NOT ONE MASK in sight! I wonder if there’s some unspoken competition with the ROP and its fearlessTrue Believers?!

The US Govt. is giving Nigeria over $400mil. a year in aid and has the only permanent military base in Africa (equipped with drones) there.
The President of Nigeria is a Muslim (Fulani).
Why put all the blame for genocide on previous US administrations when it is clearly apparent that the present administration is also doing nothing to stop the killings?
Carol the 1st says
I’m sure Canada’s supplicant, PM Trudeau, can, along with Buhari, set things straight!! Or at least put on a good show.

Remember when Michelle Obama held up a sign that read bring back our girls? That was in reference to Boko Haram kidnapping 200 girls in Nigeria. That was in 2014 and the kidnapping came after Islamic group Boko Haram had slaughtered thousands. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was well of Boko Haram. As early as 2011 the Associated Press was reporting on the deaths of 504 people that included the bombing of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Christmas day killing 35 and a bomb detonated at the United Nations compound in Abuja killing 24.
Despite all of this Hillary Clinton obstructed the official terror designation of the group over the objections of Congress, the FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department. What would be her motive to do that? Could it be that there were donors to the Clinton Foundation that profited from the lucrative oil fields in Nigeria? Donors like Gilbert Chagoury. Chagoury a billionaire kingpin of Nigerian corruption plead guilty in a British court to bribery but avoided prison by returning portions of the money involved in his scheme. He also obtained immunity from prosecution in a looted assets case in Nigeria in exchange for returning money held in Swiss bank accounts. Members of Congress discovered in 2014 that the Clinton State Department intentionally lied and downplayed the threat from Boko Haram, and worked to kill bills in both the House and the Senate calling for their terrorist designation in 2012.
The Obama administration was sitting on intelligence, obtained as a result of the Bin Laden raid, that revealed Boko Haram’s direct connection to al-Qaeda and the international terror network in 2011 and 2012. In other words, Hillary’s State Department was arguing that Boko Haram had no such connections, that it wasn’t a transnational terror threat, even though both the Obama administration and Clinton knew that was also a lie. When John Kerry replaced Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State he did designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group but for the 200 girls of the Secondary School in the Nigerian town of ChibokIn, this came too late. They remain missing believed to have been sold as slaves or dead. In 2016 Hillary Clinton claimed she was going to fight for women and children. Billionaire Chagoury was able to buy his way out of prosecution, Jefffrey Epstein was able to do the same thing at least for a while.
