From the French Dreuz site, an enlightening roundup of a week of “Allahu akbars.”
“The ‘Allah Akbars’ of the week that you missed,” translated from “Les ‘Allah Akbar’ de la semaine auxquels vous avez échappé,” by Christian Larnet, Dreuz.info, February 9, 2020 (thanks to David):
The weeks go by and are not alike. Except for Islam, which breeds hatred and terror.
- Evreux: Eight years in prison for a former soldier who tried to carry out an attack in Normandy in 2017. His neighbors were worried to see him practice shooting in his garden and to have written Allah Akbar in Arabic on his mailbox.
- London: Sudesh Amman, imprisoned in 2018 for possession of terrorist documents and the dissemination of terrorist publications, was shot dead by police on Sunday February 3 after stabbing two people with a 25 cm knife on a busy street in London. He was shot dead by plainclothes police before he was able to shout “Allahu Akbar” a third time.
- France: Terrorist attack at the Dieuze gendarmerie: a 19-year-old Muslim soldier attacked gendarmes with a knife in Dieuze, in the Moselle, with cries of Allah Akbar. He injured a constable who shot him twice and prevented him from entering the premises. The terrorist was inspired by ISIS, authorities said.
- Afghanistan: Muslims proudly released a video showing a crowd of ruthless Islamic fanatics throwing stones and other objects at a screaming woman, half buried in a hole in the ground. Spectators are heard to encourage this brutality by shouting phrases such as “Allahu Akbar” and “Hit it!”
- “Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar.” The Muslim Community of Iowa supports candidate Bernie Sanders in the 2020 American election: In an Iowa Mosque, almost all caucus votes went to Bernie Sanders, who is Jewish but is the only anti-Israeli of all the Democratic candidates.
- Algeria: Welcomed on his release by dozens of demonstrators with cries of “AllahAkbar, Samir Benlarbi,” a political activist and one of the emblematic figures of Hirak, promises to resume the struggle.
- Belgium: Police shot a woman armed with a knife in Ghent, Belgium, minutes after the London terrorist attack. She had time to injure two people.
- India, Bhainsa: A journalist reported how crowds of Muslims attacked Hindu houses while chanting “Allah hu Akbar.”
- London: Police have launched an investigation of murder after an 18-year-old man was stabbed to death by a man who shouted Allah Akbar in front of horrified commuters at a London train station.
- Jerusalem: On February 6, a Muslim man drove his car into a crowd of soldiers and left 12 injured. On the same day, another shot and wounded an Israeli policeman on the Temple Mount. In the Binyamin region, also on February 6, a gunshot wounded one soldier. And near Qalilyia, again on February 6, one soldier was wounded by bullets. Although the Israeli media did not mention it because it was systematic, all of the attackers were yelling Allahu Akbar during the attacks.
- Democratic Republic of Congo: At least eight people were killed by Allah Akbar’s cries during an attack by Islamic rebels in the east.
And that’s just in the past week. See here for more, in French, from previous weeks.
