Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Amid coronavirus pandemic, Erdogan withdraws his migrant army from Greek border — for now

Mar 31, 2020 4:00 pm By Robert Spencer

“A chapter might potentially be closing, but this battle, have no doubt, continues.”

Indeed. And the European Union is not on the side of Europe.

“Turkey’s Erdogan blinks; pulls his migrant army back from Greek border amid virus pandemic,” Associated Press, March 28, 2020:

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish authorities have evacuated thousands of migrants who had been waiting at the border with Greece hoping to make their way into Europe, as a precaution amid the coronavirus pandemic, Turkey’s interior minister said Friday.

Thousands of migrants had massed at a border crossing with European Union-member Greece after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced last month that his country would no longer prevent refugees and other migrants wanting to travel to EU countries.

Violent clashes erupted between the migrants and Greek border authorities trying to push them back.

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu told private NTV television that some 5,800 migrants waiting at the border crossing in Edirne province were moved away from the border area overnight and taken to migration centers in nine provinces.

Soylu warned, however, that the move did not amount to a change in policy and that the migrants would be free to return once the pandemic is over.

“When this epidemic is over we would not prevent whoever wants to leave,” he said.

Earlier, the state-run Anadolu Agency said migrants staying in a makeshift camp near the border gate were moved in buses to state guest houses where they would be quarantined. They would be moved to other regions in Turkey at the end of the quarantine, the agency reported….

Greece hailed the development as an “important thing for our country and for Europe,” praising Greek authorities’ ability to guard its land and sea borders.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, speaking during a teleconference with ministers on the situation at the border, said Greek authorities had “ascertained that the makeshift camp which had been created …. appears to have been dismantled and those who were on the Evros border have been moved away.”

Greek authorities also shared a night-time video of a fire in a wooded area, which they said was Turkish authorities burning the tents left behind by the departing migrants.

“A chapter might potentially be closing, but this battle, have no doubt, continues,” Mitsotakis told the ministers, according to a statement released by his office. “We managed to secure a very important thing for our country and for Europe. The ability and efficiency of guarding our land and sea borders.”…

I like the way that crescent moon in the background makes it appear as if Erdogan has horns.

In the archeology of Arabia, an inscription of ‘Qos is Allah’ (or ‘Qos the god’) was found. A stele dedicated to Qos-allah, (and an inscription ‘Qos-milk’ (melech – ‘Qos is king’) was found at Petra (Glueck 516). Qos identifiable with Kaush (Qaush) the god of the older Edomites is horned and a seal from Edomite Tawilan near Petra identified with Kaush. The stele displays a star and crescent (Browning 28), both consistent with a moon deity.

It is conceivable the latter could have resulted from trade (Bartlett 194). There is continuing debate about the nature of Qos (qaus – ‘bow’ of hunting god=Mars or a rainbow weather god) although the crescent may also be a bow. Mount Seir near Petra is one of the domains of Yahweh striking down, giving and His attributes in inscriptions include knowing explain the light (Bartlett203).

One of the names of the god of Mount Seir in the hadiths is Dhu Shara (‘the One from Seir’).

Islam’s Allah was also identified with Hubal (Heb. Ha-Baal … the husband god … i.e. husband of ‘Venus’ Al-Uzza). The crescent of Hubal was mounted over the Kaaba prior to Islam.

Clearly, Islam grew out of paganism and perpetuated many pagan symbols and practices.

The crescent may also represent the 28-day lunar cycle associated women’s 28-day cycle. The Black Stone appears to have been the fetish of a fertility and purification cult at the Kaaba.

    Great picture!

I hope that Greece, Bulgaria, and any other country sharing borders with Turkey stay vigilant and maintain high border security. Funny thing, isn’t Khameni running a paradise next door that is more in tune with the migrants than the evil Europe? I would think these migrants would storm the border trying to go to paradise.

The real biggie in visuals is the sight of German police vehicles in the border force. At last, Merkel has accepted that there is more to this than German war guilt.

    “violent clashes erupted”…..
No. This is not an honest description.
The gatecrashers attacked the gate and fence, throwing teargas at Greek border police. The police responded defensively.

So Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu warned:

“When this epidemic is over we would not prevent whoever wants to leave”

Greece should immediately respond by saying:

“The muslim migrants can leave Turkey but they cannot enter Greece. Not a single muslim…”

    Deal with it like Poland:

Some are, Jordan has 1.8 million, Lebanon has 1.5 million, but what about the oil rich states?
The imaginary union of ALL Muslims disappears in the face a real threat. I also came across the following from a “Le Journal International”:

This reluctance to welcome Syrian refugees into their countries is also due to the fear that this arrival of Arabs – politicised by the Syrian war – could also cause subversive ideas being brought into the States, as well as suffering from uprisings in less politicised countries such as those in the Persian Gulf. Gulf countries are in fact the most stable countries of the region, and getting involved in Syrian refugees could endanger this stability.

      • SAFI says

        Mar 31, 2020 at 6:18 pm

@DHazard Very true. By the way a large number of refugees are the ones internally displaced inside Syria who have fled to Assad controlled areas in order to escape Turkey’s mercenary jihadis operating in the north. Its also worth highlighting that Jorrdan and Lebanon, despite being much smaller and much poorer than Turkey have neither asked not received any EU money for hosting these refugees. Unlike Turkey has been threatening and blackmailing Europe with unleashing all kinds of shady fakeugee types including veteran jihadis (many of whom formely under turkish employment) on the continent.

I personally think its a ruse. He’ll likely put them on boats and try sending them them to Greece and Italy by sea which is a lot harder for these countries to prevent (for technical and other reasons). I guess we’ll find out soon.

    ……………..

I thought that the Muslim hordes had broken though Greece’s fences?

“Muslim migrants armed by Turkey punch through Greece’s protective fences”

    https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/03/muslim-migrants-armed-by-turkey-punch-through-greeces-protective-fences

Is Turkey withdrawing them, as well, of have they already succeeded in invading Greece?

    • SAFI says

      Apr 1, 2020 at 5:51 am

No they did not succeed to break through the fence, though it wasn’t for lack of trying on their part or on the part of their turkish helpers. Maybe a small number managed to cross the river(where there is no fence) and hide in the woods but that number is nowhere near the “official” 150,000 fakeugees claimed by Turkey’s Minister of Propaganda Suleiman Soylu to “have crossed into Europe”.

Premier Erdogan ought to house them in Turkey! After all, there are plenty of deserted villages there where the Turks kicked out or massacred Greeks/Armenians, back in the day. Take note – They’re NOT EUROPE’s Problem!!

    Repatriate the Syrians.

    • SAFI says

      Apr 1, 2020 at 6:02 am

What I don’t understand is why nobody in Europe has tried so far to promote the idea of repatriating the 5 million or so turkish gimmiegrants back to Turkey. Erdogan has a moral obligation to “share this burden”. Right now Belgium’s hospitals are choke full with coronavirus afflicted Turks (because Turks don’t give a sh!t about the Belgian govt’s quarantine instructions). Europe cannot carry the turkish burden alone, Erdogan must take his share!
