“The Iranian government was aware many weeks ago that it had a problem on its hands, but paranoid and determined at all times to project a false image of invincibility, it did what it typically does. It lied. It covered up. It avoided taking any action that might suggest that it was anything less than infallible.”
Just over a week ago, Ayatollah Khamenei declared that the coronavirus outbreak was “not such a big tragedy” and could be overcome through “jihad.” Some of the more devoted people went so far as to be “licking the shrines in order to infect themselves, thus protecting future pilgrims from contracting the virus.” But now, in a short space of time, pandemonium is setting in, as the death toll climbs. “The virus has now spread to every province in the country and people are fearful that the true scale of the outbreak is even worse than is being disclosed.”
Alarm over the virus is now further eroding the authority of the regime’s Mullahs. Protesters raised a banner saying that the coronavirus was “Mullah’s virus is decimating Iran’s youth.” The demonstrators were identified as “members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), one of Iran’s largest anti-regime coalitions.” Meanwhile, in desperation, former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wrote to a letter to the World Health Organization, demanding to know where the lab is that produced coronavirus, as he is convinced it was a launch of biological warfare.
“‘Mullah’s Virus’: Iranian Protesters Condemn Regime for Coronavirus Response Failure,” by Frances Martel, Breitbart, March 9, 2020:
A group of Iranian dissidents in Isfahan, one of the nation’s biggest cities, displayed a protest banner on Sunday reading, in part, “Mullah’s virus is decimating Iran’s youth,” a reference to the Chinese coronavirus the Islamic regime has entirely failed to contain.
The dissidents are members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), one of Iran’s largest anti-regime coalitions, according to PMOI itself, which published video of the incident. The Farsi-language banner also reportedly read, “Khamenei the sinister mullah, you are the real virus,” a reference to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The banner appeared to also display an image of Maryam Rajavi, the group’s leader.
The banner’s message resembles that of protesters in Iraq, where the Chinese coronavirus has begun to spread as a result of Iranian travelers into the country.
“The real virus is Iraqi politicians. We are immune to almost everything else,” an angry Iraqi told Agence France-Presse (AFP) last week.
“Political parties and corruption are an epidemic that is much more dangerous than the coronavirus. This is the outbreak we want to get rid of because it has destroyed Iraq,” said another.
Iraqis have been taking the streets against Baghdad’s growing closeness to the Iranian regime for months, triggering a deadly response from Baghdad and its Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) a legalized coalition of militias that includes Shiite terrorists loyal to Iran.
Iranians, meanwhile, have been staging nationwide protests since 2018 against the government’s mishandling of the economy. The Islamic regime funneled millions in money procured through the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or Iran nuclear deal, into supporting terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, instead of investing in the economy. After the election of President Donald Trump, much of that revenue dried up, collapsing the economy.
While the protests have paused after violence by the Iranian regime, they returned with a vengeance in January against the Iranian regime shooting down a Ukrainian passenger plane amid its revenge attack after the Soleimani airstrike.
The PMOI also reported incidents of protesters this weekend burning down Iranian propaganda posters, including one of Major General Qasem Soleimani, the former head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force (IRGC). An American airstrike eliminated Soleimani in January, triggering widespread protests against the regime within Iran…..

COVID-19 is pretty harmless, unless you have a pre-existing condition or you are very old. Iran seems to be hit pretty hard so there is hope that the whole geriatric ward that is the shiite leadership is killed and the people can rise.
Eur says
The problem is that more than 20% of the population has previous problems without needing to be elderly. Should we accept that the coronavirus decimates our elderly?
What is real is that the coronavirus has the capacity to saturate emergencies and the entire health system of any country. Should we accept the mortality (2% -6%) of all the infected (all of us) or should we try to fight and sacrifice our economy?
RichardL says
The mortality rate is based on known infections. I would bet it will go down by a whole order of magnitude. A virus is a virus: once you have it it takes its course.
Eur says
advise you to get ready. Food, water, disinfectant, appropriate masks … and take care of the elderly and sick people in your family. Hospitals are not going to be able to care for the thousands of people who will need medical care. The American health system will not bear .Army on the streets, quarantined cities, closing schools, universities, factories …. it’s already happening un europe.Good luck

If I remember correctly, the EU found that many incoming Muslim immigrants, since 2015, had respiratory conditions like TB. This might be amother reason why the EU and Iran are experiencing a rapid virus spread and above average death rates. The digging of mass graves in Iran points to a coverup of the severity and the “unwillingness” of Muhammad’s hand puppet.

Fortunately Karma does exist: “Islamic Scholar Who Said Coronavirus Was “Allah’s Punishment” Gets Coronavirus” https://www.zerohedge.com/health/islamic-scholar-who-said-coronavirus-was-allahs-punishment-gets-coronavirus – It is clear that the barking criminal muslims try to spread their quranavirus

Quranavirus is a good one! And they have a pre-existing condition: allahism on the forehead…
FYI says
Karma of course is an idea from the Indian Religions:Hinduism,Buddhism,Sikhism,Jainism and also in Taoism
muslims claim that allah inflicted the koranovirus on the Chinese as a punishment but by that same logic then what is happening to muslims must be because they{muslims} are being punished for doing something bad.
Like those appaling, Genocidal, anti-Hindu riots we saw recently in Delhi.
Maybe that’s it…for..
“No calamity befalleth save by allah’s leave”
koran 64:11
It looks like allah cannot defeat… Karma.Or save his adherents.

As far as I’m concerned if the whole regime, every member of the revolutionary guard and every “religious” in the country died from Coronavirus it would be a good thing for the rest of the world.

Corona is China’s Chernobyl, and it has also become Iran’s. Totalitarian regimes are like criminals who try to wriggle out of their misdeeds through deception, but they only get more entrapped.

This above jihad watch article reveals that “The PMOI also reported incidents of protesters this weekend burning down Iranian propaganda posters…”
As righteous ,right and peaceful as those Iranian citizen protesters are against the tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran , many times brutal vicious and murderously oppressive Islamic regime comes down hard with ruthless violence against those peaceful protesters
Those vicious and violent responses to those Iranians protesters by that “mullah tyranny “ of Iran is in accord with the actual legacy of Ayatollah Khomeini who was the Imam who was so powerful that he played large role in the establishment of the current Islamic tyranny of Iran which has the official title of “ The Islamic Republic of Iran” Khomeini had declared “ Jihad or Holy War ,which is for the conquest of [other ] countries and kingdoms , becomes incumbent after the formation of the Islamic State in the presence of the Imam or in accordance with his command. Then Islam makes it incumbent on all males…to prepare themselves for the conquest of countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world… those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world. The goal of this conquest would be to establish the hegemony of Islamic law.” [1]

As for that Iran’s Islamic regimes revenge attack for the drone airstrike on Soleimani .
it should never be forgotten that the airstrike that took out Soleimani was appropriate , justified righteous and even wise because Soleimani was a very vicious and dangerous man. Therefore it was necessary that he was eliminated.
Furthermore, President Trump had shown wisdom in ordering that US drone airstrike which eliminated that brutal, violent and murderous Iranian terrorists commander , at the Baghdad airport, is thievery best way of sending those cruel ruthless jihad –minded rulers in power in the “mullah regime “ of Iran a message in the only language that they will understand. Which is a message sent with and by the power of strong military might.
As Thomas Jefferson had, so clearly, declared, “With every barbarous people …force is law.”

The people of Iran, many of whom were and still are friendly to the west and receptive to modernization and Christianity, are the real victims here. The ruling elites are only doing what is needed to stay in power.
I recommend caution regarding some of the so called opposition. When a group includes terms like “peoples” or “mojahedin” in the name of the group, beware. Remember the Chicoms, Soviets, and Kim dynasties always include describing themselves as a “peoples” something, but are tyrants and oppress the people. The so called good guys in Afcrapistan were all mujahideen and we were supposed to be freeing the oppressed people of that hell hole by supporting these self proclaimed holy warriors. Worked out well, didn’t it?
There is no easy answer for Iran and the rest of that area. Shia and Sunni will continue to attack each other and we should stand back and not get stuck in the middle as we are in Afghanistan and Iraq. Until the Iranian regular armed forces stand up for their own people and throw out the theocratic parasites, regardless of name, nothing will get better. The people are disarmed, terrorized, and oppressed by their own countrymen.

Today, people of Iran rightly blame the regime for the current situation with the coronavirus outbreak. Iran’s regime is trying to suppress people’s discontent. The regime’s fear is about Iranian revolt & uprising
