Wishing a sweet Passover to all Jihad Watch readers tonight.
Yes, as always, in this year of madness and plague I once again I mean all of you, not just Jewish readers, although to them the greetings are of course particularly directed. Israel remains on the front lines of the global jihad, and is every day more defamed and vilified as that jihad advances everywhere and the friends of the Jewish State succumb to cowardice and opportunism.
But we are all Jews: all who stand with the Jews and all who are on the side of humane values and a civilization that allows the human spirit to flower.
It is more necessary than ever for all free people to stand with the Jews and with Israel on the front lines of the jihad. The fact that more and more people are giving up and capitulating in various ways to the forces of oppression and darkness, makes it all the more important for those of us who remain to stand, and to stand firm with all we’ve got.
Stand with Israel and all Jews worldwide against the jihad and Sharia oppression! Stand with Israel for human rights! Stand with Israel for freedom! The great lesson of this night is that evil, no matter how powerful it appears, does not ultimately prevail.
Chag Pesach sameach! Am Yisroel chai!

We should all count our blessings daily for living in America and having the freedoms we have. I wish all Jewish people all good and peace. and to be strong against the oppression they face on a daily basis.

Robert Spencer says,
“Stand with Israel and all Jews worldwide against the jihad and Sharia oppression! Stand with Israel for human rights! Stand with Israel for freedom!”
Absolutely Robert!
I very proudly stand with Israel!
God bless you for all of the incredibly valuable work that you do – you are a true hero!

Thank you dear sir, and to the further farther shore….. for us all
Dov Berrol says
Thank you so much Robert! In every generation of Jewish History, we have had a courageous Moses to lead us onward to a freer, more humane tomorrow. In truth, Pesach is known as our “Festival of Freedom”. A time to come out from the cold dark winter of oppression into the warm, bright spring of liberation. And JihadWatch has helped many Jews understand the dangers of an ideology that requires complete submission of the human spirit and complete freezing of godly human love and compassion.
The seder concludes with the traditional singing of “L’Shana Haba’a B’Yerushalayim”…”Next Year in Jerusalem”. May we all be liberated from this worldwide pandemic and gather together to celebrate human freedom and dignity in the Holy City – speedily and in our time.

Happy Passover to all those who celebrate it!

Yes, Judaism permits the flowering of the human spirit. Jews and Christians have taught that human beings are made in God’s image and likeness. Because of that and other conceptions in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, Jews and Christians feel a certain warrant to imitate God’s creativity.
Qur’an 42:11, however, says that nothing is like Allah. That verse, I think, is a direct rejection of the Biblical claim. Furthermore, against the Bible, the Qur’an insists that Allah is not a father, and we are not Allah’s children, much less made in his likeness. We are only his servants or slaves. For those reasons and others, Daniel Boorstin concluded that in Islam, as far as the devout Muslim is concerned, “to create is a rash and dangerous act.”

Pickthall translates Qur’an 42:11 thus:
The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He hath made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby He multiplieth you. Naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer.

Coming in late here: but just to say – seconding every word. I have a friend living in Israel; she and her husband and family are much in my thoughts. And I am thinking of Phyllis Chesler, in New York City, and all our fellow jihadwatchers – commenters at this site both past and current – people like ShyGuy and Elderlyzionist – who are Jewish. I do hope that they were all able to celebrate a joyful Passover this year – which does not officially conclude until sundown on April 16th.

Thank you! Happy Pesach to you (a little belatedly, though I see that the festival as a whole does not conclude until 16th April); and yes, I and others of my faith will be celebrating a happy Easter here in Australia, even though we must do it via Zoom, all our meeting-together (except for each individual household) having been cancelled until further notice.
