Greece: Muslim migrants cough on police, chop down 5,000 olive trees

Apr 14, 2020 12:00 pm By Robert Spencer

What are the chances that these migrants will become loyal, stable, productive citizens of European states? Right, about nil.

“An attack on Greek heritage, migrants chop thousands of olive trees on Lesvos,” by Paul Antonopoulos, Greek City Times, April 7, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

It has been a wild few days on the Greek island of Lesvos. The past few days has seen two gangs of Afghani immigrants battle each other and African immigrants ridicule and cough on police in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, as reported by Greek City Times.

However, if these incidences were not enough, 5,000 olives trees were cut from their roots by illegal immigrants from the infamous Moria migrant camp, to the north of Lesvos’ capital city of Mytilene.

Olive trees take approximately 65-80 years to reach stable yields, meaning that the destroyed trees are a major blow to the local economy. Olive exports amount to about US$700 million every year to the Greek economy….

As olive trees take several decades to become productive, it is likely the land will be cultivated for other use now as farmers find more immediate ways to survive during this difficult economic period.

More deeply, the destruction of olive trees by the illegal immigrants is an attack against Greek heritage and identity, knowing the important role the fruit has played for millennia in Greece.

About half of the islands 50,000 illegal immigrants are kept at the Moria camp that is supposed to host 3,000 people only. In 2018, there was as many as one rape report a week in the Moria camp and an increase in killings and criminality on the island, including most recently rioting and olive tree chopping.

The island of Lesbos has become a target for Turkey, one of the most vulnerable spots for dumping migrants. Of course, Turkey should not have many of these people in the first place and once they are inside Turkey, it is only Turkey that should be responsible for its own decisions.

Of course, Erdogan is implementing HEJIRA … the book-end doctrine that goes with jihad.

HEJIRA is migration of Muslims without any ASSIMILATION. That is the definition of an invasion.

Erdogan wants to conquer Europe through Islamic migration and then rule Europe as a province of Turkey in a revived Ottoman Empire. .

That is apparently his long-term plan.

    • Sun says

      Apr 14, 2020 at 1:50 pm

That seems to be the plan.

In 2002, in an article on the front page, BBC News called him “Turkey’s charismatic pro-Islamic leader”. mentioned the poem which earned him a conviction in 1998 for inciting religious hatred: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…”

In 2017, Erdogan called the Turks the “future of Europe”. According to the news today, he is sending again thousands of migrants to the Greek border. Buses bring the young men to the Mediterranean free of charge so they can cross over to one of the Greek islands.

I suppose that Europe will fight back with even more money…

I’d read those lines about the “mosques” as barracks, etc, before, here at Jihad watch, Sun, but I hadn’t noticed that they were from Erdogan. But when I read them just now, I thought how those lines ( which tell the truth about Islam’s violent nature) contrast so perfectly with this bullshit we get that islam is basically peaceful (such as from the current Pope and others). Erdogan’s words are a perfect summary of what Islam has always been about and always will be about, nothing but endless violence. The people mentioned in this report are garbage people. I can’t believe the vandalism involved in destroying all those olive trees, turning the place into a wasteland. Total barbarians, who would be useless to any even half civilised country. I agree with Mortimer’s comment and your comment that this is all part of Turkey’s vile plan to Islamise Europe. Europe is going to have toughen up and deal harshly with Turkey, this Muslim enemy of civilised life.

          Apr 14, 2020 at 8:13 pm

Tim, I agree with you. Unfortunately, I am afraid that Europe will not fight for their people and values – they already reached the point of no return.

Erdogan revealed his plans for the Islamization of Europe many years ago. Decadent Europe does not want to listen. It’s very terrifying and reminds me in 1933…

As usual, Europe will devoutly bend down and reward his threats with tons of money.

I tend to agree with you, Sun, that the countries of western Europe won’t be tough enough to fight back against the Muslim onslaught. Hungary and the Visegrad bloc countries are showing them what needs to be done. I sometimes think many people in all our western countries have become just too nice, maybe too civilised, and don’t seem to want offend anyone, especially the Muslim barbarians. It is a good thing to be nice and pleasant, but it can’t work when you are confronting violent invaders. I hope I’m wrong. On Erdogan’s words about the mosques, I think, whenever we are fed that rubbish about Islam’s peaceful nature, people should pull out Erdogan’s words and say, OK, what about this violent language, which tells the truth about islam, from Erdogan. Thanks for the “great exchange” comment, gravenimage. You’re always encouraging people here and, as I said, some time back, you seem like the heart and soul of Jihad Watch, along with people like Mortimer, Wellington, James Lincoln and some of the other regulars.

“I sometimes think many people in all our western countries have become just too nice, maybe too civilised, and don’t seem to want offend anyone, especially the Muslim barbarians.”

I think it’s some combination of “pathological altruism” and “virtue signaling,” all mixed together with “white guilt”.

It certainly would explain a lot.

This is happening, to a greater or lesser degree, in all Western countries and is particularly dominant in a country like say, Sweden…

        • tim gallagher says

          Apr 15, 2020 at 6:17 pm

That term you use, “pathological altruism”, James, seems a good way to characterise this mental attitude amongst so many people in the western countries. It is a good thing to be tolerant and pleasant, but many people have let it become a damaging, pathological thing. For some people, maybe the “white guilt” is a factor. I think many people that I come across don’t really appreciate what a great achievement our western civilisation is and what a good way of life it provides. Maybe, when people become civilised, many of them do become soft, which is a good thing except when it is exploited by vicious people, such as Muslim invaders. We are a soft touch and the invaders know it. We have a radio presenter here in Australia, on talkback radio, and he would often say, when some ruling was made that was pathetically weak, ” we are such soft bananas out here”, just pathetic. We are a soft touch without a doubt. We had better wake up. Rufolino, I didn’t know about olive trees being so hard, but what you say does make me wonder, just like you, how could such massive destruction be allowed to happen? It certainly shows what vicious destroyers these people are.

We will let anyone walk all over us just so they will not dislike us. We have turned ourselves into spineless door mats.

There is an old saying; I do not want everyone to like me. I would not like myself if certain people liked me.

I like both those sayings, barbaracvm1 and gravenimage. I’m writing them down for future reference. I have a vague recollection that I’ve heard the one from Churchill before. He certainly had the courage to stand up for what he believed in. We’d obviously all like to be popular, but we have to develop a thick enough skin to tell the truth about things. The other saying is excellent. “I would not like myself if certain people liked me”. That’s so true.

This story is extraordinary. 5000 olive trees cut down ? Didn’t anyone at all try to stop the people doing this ?

Olive-wood is one of the hardest there is. It takes brute force to cut through the trunk of an ancient olive tree, and a long time to do it. But 5000 ?? and nobody intervened ?

Were they armed with electric saws ? Otherwise it seems unbelievable.

      Flabbergasted.

I can just about understand how it would fit the mental profile of a psychologically unstable antediluvian orang-utan to arrive uninvited on someone else’s territory in order to benefit from the support of their civilised conditions but then proceed to behave in the most uncouth way imaginable; you wouldn’t logically expect any different from an antediluvian orang-utan with ‘probelms’..But then to deliberately destroy 5,000 obviously carefully-planted trees that were clearly intended to enable some kind of civilised lifestyle just takes us below the expectations of any normal sentient life form down into the realms of some prehistoric, brainless malevolent virus that simply exists because it just happens to exist despite the lack of any possible justification for its existence.

Not exactly the best way to win friends and influence people. These people are obviously in a terrible situation but, if they want to be welcomed (or even allowed) into Europe, they should certainly act more civilized.

    • Anjuli Pandavar says

      Apr 14, 2020 at 1:32 pm

Rarely, with all due respect, no, no, no, no, no. “These people are obviously in a terrible situation,” because they *put themselves* in a terrible situation. Their “terrible situation” persists only because of a stalemate: Greece will not let them pass, yet Greece will not drive them back. These are *invaders*, interested in neither welcome not permission. They are the very antithesis of civilisation and their latest outrage is but a gentle foretaste of what they have in store for civilisation. Something’s got to give, and since Greece, and Europeans, are too misguidedly civilised to remove the invaders by force and keep them out by force, they will keep coming, and what we’ve seen will be repeated elsewhere and with greater devastation. It is barbarism attacking civilisation, and civilisation, i.e., European citizens, had better rediscover, and pretty damn quick, how one needs to conducts oneself in a life and death struggle.

Two actions are urgent: 1. break up the European Union, Europe’s official jihad, hijra and Sahri’a enabler; 2. drive all illegal migrants out by force (where they go is *not* our problem; it is *theirs*, brought on them by themselves). 3. The rest will become clear immediately this is done.

      • Savvy Kafir says

Just where did these scum get the axes? How did they get access to the trees, with the axes, and no one could report it before 5 thousand trees were felled?

Interestingly, Revelation 6 speaks of “famine,” the high cost of “wheat and barley” to make bread and says, “Do not harm the olive oil and the wine.” This is a reference to the very high cost of these items.

Olive oil is already expensive here and the cost surely will go up with this terror vandalism. This is not the first instance in recent history where moslims have chopped down olive trees by the thousands. The crime should be dealt with severely, the criminals punished for the destruction.

This is a direct copy of Mohammed chopping down the date palms of one of the Jewish tribes he was besieging…..There’s even a “ revelation” about it because some of his fellow thugs objected. They obviously knew that when the killed the Jews they would take over the very profitable date palm plantations and didn’t want Mohammed chopping them down .
Someone who has learned the Koran better than I have can post the verse dealing with this.

So my point is , learn everything about Mohammed’s life!
( I recommend “ It’s All About Muhammed” by FW Burleigh , available on Amazon, an excellent biography of Mohammed that uses the Islamic sources. )
Because modern moslems will copy him. And if we know our enemy , it makes it easier to defeat them.

Including looking for any excuse, even provoking one, to claim they are being mis treated, discriminated against, victims of everything including “Islamophobia” and so provide them with an excuse to be violent or even declare war on non moslems.

Mohammed said that killing was serious but preventing moslems from fully practicing Islam was worse. The Islamic definition of “ mischief in the land” is simply the disbelief, criticism, eliminating the or refusal to submit to Islam. And this is considered justification for jihad and war.

People like us, the ones that read sites like this , already know the truth of how dangerous islam is.
The problem is our politicians don’t. Or at lest they aren’t acting as if they do and their actions against Islam is what’s important .
We need to devote our time treasure and talents into making sure that our politicians do begin to understand and push back against Islam and it’s spread in our country.
Use our Time and our Treasure (money ) to this end and use any Talent we have, anything that we are particularly good at, the see if we can use that towards eliminating the spread of Islam in our country , influencing our politicians to push back against the spread of Islam .

One way is obviously to vote for candidates that speak out against Islam, and don’t pussy got around saying it’s “ extremism” but that it’s islam that’s the problem.work for their campaigns , do everything we can to get these people elected to all levels of our goverments, local, state and federal .

And another way I believe is to get involved in a National, organization, like ACT. Look for a local chapter or start one if there isn’t a chapter near you.
Together we have strength , and we can accomplish things, but separately , we aren’t doing much of anything to stop this spread of Islam.

No, I can’t go abroad yet. I have a school to finish in Turkey. But I will go abroad immediately after I finish my school. I think to go to Greece because it is the closest country to Turkey. But there is a situation I am afraid of. Greece may not want to give me the right to asylum, and the authorities can send me back to Turkey. If this happens, this would be a very sad situation. Fake “refugees” attack and burn churches in Greece. As we can see in this News, they cut down trees. However, Greece still sees them as “refugees”. I live in fear in Turkey, the Islamic dictatorship. My uncle threathened to behead me because he learned that I left five times Islamic prayers. Turkey is not a secular country, as some people think. Sultan Erdogan is forming a parallel army to keep his regime in check. This army consists of jihadist and Islamic terrorists. They brutally killed anyone who fought against Islamist terrorists, they killed especially Kurds, in Syria. I am afraid that they’ll do the same thing in Turkey against the opposition and non-muslims. Greece should expel fake “refugees” who cut down trees and give refuge to ex-Muslims in danger like me who respect Greek law and Western Culture.
