Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Hamas-linked CAIR cries “Islamophobia” as Trump questions if social distancing will be enforced during Ramadan

Apr 20, 2020 1:00 pm By Robert Spencer

The charge of “Islamophobia” in this instance is even more ridiculous than what usually comes from Hamas-linked CAIR, as Trump wasn’t referring to Muslims. He was referring to how law enforcement authorities treat Muslims. And there is no doubt that, precisely because of charges of “Islamophobia,” some people are reluctant to act against those who flout laws and regulations in Muslim communities, but have no similar reluctance when it comes to non-Muslims. The most notorious example of this is the treatment of Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who murdered 13 people at Fort Hood in November 2009 while screaming “Allahu akbar.” The Boston Globe reported back in 2010 that “Army superiors were warned about the radicalization of Major Nidal Malik Hasan years before he allegedly massacred 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, but did not act in part because they valued the rare diversity of having a Muslim psychiatrist, military investigators wrote in previously undisclosed reports.” They valued “diversity,” and they also valued not having their careers ruined by the charges of “Islamophobia” that would have inevitably ensued had they acted against him.

“Trump Questions if U.S. Authorities Will Enforce Social Distancing for Muslims During Ramadan,” Haaretz, April 20, 2020:

U.S. President Donald Trump addressed Saturday a retweet of his over the weekend that sparked accusations of Islamophobia for suggesting there “could be a difference” in how authorities enforce social distancing during Ramadan.

Trump was asked during his coronavirus task force briefing Saturday about a tweet by conservative writer Paul Sperry, which Trump had retweeted.

“Let’s see if authorities enforce the social-distancing orders for mosques during Ramadan (April 23-May 23) like they did churches during Easter,” Sperry wrote on the social media platform and was read back to Trump for comment.

“I would say that there could be a difference,” Trump responded. “And we’ll have to see what will happen. Because I’ve seen a great disparity in this country.” The Council on American-Islamic relations slammed Trump’s comments on Twitter as “incoherent” and included the hashtag “Islamophobia”.

Trump also criticized the so-called “squad:” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley for having an “anti-Israel bent.”

“The things that they say about Israel are so bad,” Trump said in an apparent tangent. “And I can’t believe it.”…

Social distancing helps stop this deadly virus!
This applies to ALL….Now some may say that the more that Muslims congregate the less Muslims there will be….but there infect Non-Muslims also.

It is “incoherent” because it does not fit the narrative, muslims = victims.

Pointing out muslims may get different treatment, hands off and positively glowing, goes against the narrative.

Hence Trump is “crazy” and incoherent. Therefore don’t listen to him.

He could just as easily have been called a racist. Same result.

Yes, muslims = victims IS their narrative.

CAIR, for example, has been extremely effective in co-opting the grievances of other minority groups to promote their victim hood status.

        This as but one example:

          …,

Agreed. Linda Sarsour, a sharia proponent, leading a women’s rights march, Calling her Islamic group victims along with blacks and Hispanics being an example of this.

I have to begrudgingly admit that these clowns are good at organising and promoting their cause with leftist and spineless media as their allies. Unless, rest of the religions do the same, this is an uphill battle

Every church in NYC was shut down for Easter not a pep or protest from any church officials or members of the churches ,because they knew it had to be done. Why do Muslims and terror back organizations(CAIR) get special treatment by the MSM, The Muslims can have services from the Mosque broadcast on some cable network many Christian churches have live stream services on internet and cable channels. They can fast doing the day and stuff their mouths at night and watch services on the internet. If they cannot obey the laws of the land maybe they should move back to the hell holes they came from.

What he said was not “incoherent” in any way. What he said is true. A Judge found that the “lockdown” orders from a governor, in Kansas, I believe, were being unfairly enforced on churches, while other establishments were allowed more freedoms.

It isn’t likely that the governors nor their “enforcement” people will want to be accused of the fake “phobia,” racism, or have moslims screaming on their doorsteps and in the streets, demanding to be allowed to meet in large, glutenous, groups to eat and ‘prey.’

He should stick to his ‘guns,’ and keep saying, “We’ll have to wait and see,” and there has been a ” great disparity.”

I think the churches in the U.S, were able to understand the consequences, or otherwise high risk, and in my opinion it was intelligent to lockdown. Some christians may have decided to attend church that is their choice..if the door were open and observe a distance..in some countries it was very risky and my heart goes out to those who may have suffered their life to attend and be attacked on Easter. A act of definace to worship a Christian religious day in dangerous lands.

They’re fate is tragic. We should fight for those Christian’s.

Do you think Mosques should closed during Ramadan in the US now?

        • Marilyn Griffin says

          Apr 20, 2020 at 6:24 pm

I think muslims should be treated exactly like all other US citizens, so if Christians are being told they cannot meet together in their churches for services, then muslims must abide by the same rules, no meeting in groups, no meeting in their mosques. But, really, I fully expect that the muslims in the US will be allowed, as usual, to do as they please, because they are almost always, in every circumstance, treated as “special” which, as it should, creates much resentment and bad feelings toward both the demanding muslims and the cowardly American leaders that cater to them.

      • somehistory says

        Apr 20, 2020 at 5:17 pm

The Judge ruled in the churches’ favor because they were singled out…and even though they were observing the laws…’distancing” and the rest, they were singled out to not have the “right” to even gather in small groups and observe “distancing” as other groups were allowed to do.
Some have been given tickets, $500 tickets, for driving their cars to the church parking lot and sitting in their cars, windows up, listening to the sermons on their radios. One congregation was met by police with nails all over the parking lot, so they couldn’t even have a meeting with everyone staying in their cars.

If a person, or family, stays in their car with windows up, how are they disobeying the law, and how are they creating a danger for others?
What about car repair…when the owner must get out and go inside…and wait for their car to be repaired? Or the weed stores, and liquor stores being allowed to stay open and sell, where the customer must get out of their car and go inside, while the church-goer cannot attend a meeting and stay in their cars?

I believe this is the “disparity” to which Mr. Trump referred.

Will the police meet moslims at their barracks, or put nails in the parking lot to flatten tires? I seriously doubt that anything will be done to hinder their meeting and physically greeting and eating…mixing saliva and breathing on each other. Kind of difficult to eat while wearing a mask.

O.K. my comment was a little too controversal. I get it. But to phrase it another way, does the President recieve information for the Muslim Medical Society or does he not know it exists, I am curious about his level of accurate information and the use of facially nuetral language used by a group hiding it’s true identity. Better? I respect the group but I have curious concerns.

My town’s police will harass me if I try to sit in my car by the beach and read. By myself. Because Toyotas are contaigious don’tchaknow? And I MIGHT be tempted to get out of my car and walk within 6′ of someone.

But the Whores of Allah like the thugs and goons at CAIR can pack into the mosques, touch everything, eschew sanitizer if it has alcohol, breathe and kiss all over each other, and bang their heads on the floor all day long because to even say a whispered word against that is ISLAMOPHOBIA. I’m secular and used to being told that anyone who is religious is better than me. But this is the first time I’ve been told they have the “right” to infect me with a potentially fatal disease.

Agree, but my response about the Islamophobic and racial slurs they immediately throw out every time they are crossed, questioned, or even just might be, is to say, “SO WHAT!” Why would anyone care what the muslims say? Let them say whatever they wish while we demand that if they are living in our country, they will follow our laws and rules of society, or be asked to leave. It should be “integrate and assimulate totally into our society or find another country” and hold to a hard line on it.

How a question of concern by Trump, if muslims will observe social distancing during Ramadan and then receive flake about it, is completely in line with sharia laws that there is no obligation of a sharia adherant (unless notified by an Imam) to be controlled by non sharia laws or governence. So not suprising they never miss an opportunity to react….or get the press running to publish their concerns and complaints of islamophobia/racism …..cha ching money from mecca maybe to remain protected or from their caring organizations with lawyers.

Trump needs to know about the language of nuetral sounding speech to decieve and what the word “terrorist” means to some of the very people he tries to negociate with…..without this information , it is a circle jerk process. There is a document that has a rule. Very clever, strategic methods used by our hidden smiling face professional enemies and ignored or removed by the previous intelligence agency of our country that should be corrected that is in the CVE….unless it gets changed….that tried to impeach a president and uses hate speech narrative to silence intelligence.

The authorities must to risk being attacked to insure equal treatment between the two otherwise there will be law suits and there should be arrests of so called authorities. Try walking around Lakemba or Punchbowl with a crucifix around your neck and see what happens. You will be arrested for getting attacked by some nutcase mussie. You “provoked” them and created a public disturbance. Efn joke.

My church has been broadcasting Sunday services via Facebook ever since the authorities directed churches and other organizations to limit the number of people in public gatherings. And our Sunday School classes are done via Zoom. We won’t meet at the church building till the government has said that it is ok to do so.

Very few churches are violating these directives.

Muslims can and should do the same. I hope they are.
