Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Nigeria: Muslims hack 50 Christians to death in March, and ten more in first two days of April

Apr 6, 2020 2:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Time for the international media to publish a new round of articles about how Muslims are victims and “Islamophobia” is rampant.

“Fifty Christians Hacked To Death By Fulani Jihadists In March & Ten In First Two Days Of April 2020,” Nigerian Voice, April 4, 2020:

Onitsha, Eastern Nigeria, 4thApril 2020-Not less than fifty (50) defenseless Christians were hacked to death in Nigeria in the month of March 2020. While twenty-five deaths were recorded in the first half of March 2020, twenty-five others took place in the remaining half of the month, bringing the total to at least fifty (50). The killings were solely perpetrated by the Jihadist Fulani militants who also killed no fewer than ten Christians in first two days of April 2020. The monitored killings did not include those killed during the period by Boko Haram terror jihadists, if any.

In Jan and Feb 2020, no fewer than 350 Christians were hacked to death in the country, out of which, the Jihadist Fulani militants accounted for not less than 250 deaths. In all, not less than 410 Christian lives have been lost in Nigeria to Jihadist Fulani terrorists in the past 93 days of 2020 or 1st Jan to 2ndApril 2020. This is on daily average of about five Christian deaths. On average, the Jihadist Fulani militants killed 125 Christians in January and February respectively and 50 in March.

The above was the position of Int’l Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law in a statement released today at Onitsha, Eastern Nigeria and signed by Emeka Umeagbalasi, criminologist & graduate of security studies (Board Chair), Lawyer Obianuju Igboeli, (Head of Civil Liberties & Rule of Law), Lawyer Ndidiamaka Bernard (Head of Int’l Justice & Human Rights) and Lawyer Chinwe Umeche (Head of Democracy & Good Governance)

Fears Of Coronvirus May Have Scaled Down The Killings In March

It is either that the number of Christians killed in March 2020 by the militant Fulani jihadists is higher than the above figure but was under-reported or under-covered as a result of shift in local and international media and global attention to the Coronavirus scourge; or that the killings recorded a sharp drop in March, certainly not because of ‘change of heart’ or Government counter successes; but because of the fears of Coronavirus Pandemic.

Previous Statistics
It is recalled that our organization had on March 8, 2020 released a special report, “in memory of the victims of Islamic Jihad in Nigeria”. The special report had held that: “a total of 350 Christian deaths were recorded in the first two months of 2020” and that “Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen were responsible for at least 7,400 Christian deaths since June 2015 out of total deaths of 11,500-12,000”. The deaths included “Jihadist Fulani killing in June to Dec 2015 of about 525 Christians, 1,300 deaths in 2016, 1,700 deaths in 2017, 2400 deaths in 2018 and 1,200 deaths in 2019”. It was also observed that all the victims of the killings by the Jihadist Herdsmen were Christians. For freshness of the details, visit our website ( www.intersociety-ng.org ) for: Researched Facts on Massacre of Christians in Nigeria dated and uploaded on 19th March 2020.

Corroboratively, by the account of the US based “Int’l Committee on Nigeria”, quoted by the Zenger News.Com, “Fulani militants killed 1,276 (Christian) civilians in terror attacks during 2019”. The NGO further said that “the organized attacks included at least 22 attacks on Christian villages last year” and that “nearly all the victims are Christians”. The international group will be releasing a statistical report on the genocidal killings in coming weeks.

Why Battlefield Or Combat Deaths Are Not Counted: It must be reminded that although the killing of any member of human family is unacceptable and condemnable, but Intersociety is more concerned, legally or expertly, with killings perpetrated outside the law by state actors or non state actors particularly those involving death of defenseless civilians including women, children and the age-killed on account of their ethnic or religious beliefs or other nonviolent grounds. Our deep concerns including advocacy attention are given to killing of unarmed civilians in situation of armed conflict; with little attention paid to ‘legitimate killings’ or killings involving state actors and non state actors in battlefields (i.e. Government soldiers versus Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists).

Statistics Of Recent Killings
The 50 Christian deaths in March 2020 included the 13thand 14th March 2020 killing by the Jihadist Herdsmen of seven Christian mourners in coordinated attacks in Tyohembe and Tse Ayev communities located in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. The attacks took place between 11pm of Friday, 13th March and early hours of Saturday, 14th March 2020. Among the slain Christians were one Chikwa, Taza Abuur and Tarnum Yanum. Another set of Christians, numbering three were also hacked to death on 31st March 2020 in Ancha area of Bassa Local Government in Plateau State….

I believe we are in the time period when the Rapture will come; when Christians will be taken up to heaven, just before the Anti-Christ is Shown to the One World Government. The reason I think this way is because of the increase in Christian & Jewish Persecution lately & Bible Prophecy in Matthew 24, Daniel, & 1 Thessalonians, & Rev. 13, 14 !* Prepare ye the Way of the Lord * We need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord & Saviour !*, to Escape the soon Coming Wrath & Judgment of God towards Evil unsaved people !!

Nigeria is an Islamic Country If it were Christian all Hell would be let loose——International help will only curb this problem——Seems the World has other problems to deal with——Trump promised to help all Christians in the World ——-Nancy Pelosi and her Democrats obviously will not allow it !! One Day maybe after Trump wins in November—-

Nigeria has a large number of Muslims, but an equally large number of Christians. We are just seeing the 4 stages of Islamic Conquest in action.

Jesus said many times that because the “world hated” Him, it would also hate and persecute to the death, His disciples. The “world” does hate Christianity and Christians, and so when the moslims in Nigeria and other places murder Christians…many in their sleep…the world does not condemn nor mourn the deaths.

However, Jesus takes notice, condemns the murders, and will see that Divine Justice is executed against the murderers. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God (Hebrews 10:31).”

1,000 to 2,000 Christians are murdered by Muslims in Nigeria alone every year. This has been going on for the last 30 years. Do the math.

But the international, globalist media are only interested in one mosque in New Zealand that was attacked by a socialist-ecologist.

Christians are the largest persecuted group in the world, but the media look the other way.

THEY ARE TRULY FAKE NEWS … they are THE ABSENCE of the real news.

USAID: “Per the United Nations, the country has one of the world’s lowest per capita social spending levels resulting in sixty-five percent of the 186 million citizens living in extreme poverty. These conditions breed disaffection in youth, provide an entry point for Islamic extremism, entice corruption, and promote ineffective governance.”
Wikipedia: “Islam in Nigeria has witnessed a rise in the numbers of Islamic extremism notably among them, the Boko Haram, Maitatsine, Darul Islam among others. The rise of this radical movements has been attributed partly to the poor socio economic infrastructures and poor governance in Nigeria.”

The Guardian reported in 2018 that oil-rich Nigeria became the country with the world’s highest number of people – 87 million – living in extreme poverty.

Over the past 50 years, the foreign aid for Nigeria totals over $2.3 trillion (from 2010 till 2015 Nigeria received $ 3 billion from the US government). What happened to all that money?

Very complex subject. I’m Jewish. Christians in America are becoming blind to my religion and all other peaceful religions.
When they Accept, acknowledge and tolerate without condemning non-Christians to eternal fire and brimstone and force Jesus on everyone and everything perhaps there will be brotherhood and power.
Until then, Antisemitism is a far more insidius problem.

    My question is:
Is there a charity or fund people can contribute to that will hire security for these Christian villages and churches? I would gladly give my donations there instead of at my church because all that seems to do is buy new sound equipment and a bigger projection screen.

I’d rather save lives and let these fellow Christians know they are loved.
