Hege Storhaug’s questions below are on-point. Giske would do well to ponder them. But he won’t. He is the sort who will be congratulating himself on never having been “racist” as the jihadi blade starts slicing through his neck.
“Norwegian leftist MP: There is as much extremism in churches as in mosques,” Voice of Europe, April 19, 2020:
Trond Giske, a member of the Norwegian parliament for the Labour party, recently shocked the Norwegian public when he claimed that extremism and the oppression of gender equality were just as prevalent in Norwegian churches as they are in Norwegian mosques.
Last Tuesday, during a parliamentary debate on a newly proposed law called the Religious Society Act, Christian Tybring-Gjeddemember, a well-known Islam-critical MP and member of the Right-wing Fremskrittspartiet, and Trond Giske butted heads with one another on this issue of Islam in Norway, Document Norway reports.
While Tybring-Gjeddemember argued that Norwegian values and culture have become less relevant as a result of Islamic expansion into Norwegian society, Giske hit back, saying: “Yes, there are extreme Muslim religious beliefs, but there are Christian sects that refuse members to vote, there are Christian faiths that refuse gender equality, and there are Christian sects that refuse to accept divorce, etc. I believe we find this fanaticism and extremism in more religious communities than Islam.”
Islam-critical journalist Hege Storhaug writes on her blog that she wants to ask Trond Giske the following questions:
Do we have prayer houses that have terrorists as members? How many? Where are they?
Do we have prayer houses with slogans similar to the Muslim Brotherhood; “God is our purpose, the messenger is our leader, the Bible is our law, holy war is our way, death for the cause of God is our highest hope”?
Do we have prayer houses and priests who approve of marriages with children?
Do we have prayer houses that support and promote mutilating of girls’ genitals?
Do we have prayer houses that wants to reintroduce the Mosaic Law?…

85% of the non-Western immigrants (which double in number every decade), vote for the three Red parties (Labour where this clown is from, Socialistic Left which had a leader convicted as a Nazi after the war), and Red, formerly known as The Worker’s Communist Party (the Marxist-Leninists) (yes 😀 ).
They have figured out how to elect a new people, to stay in power.
Mural says
And the ones in power will bring more immigrants. These immigrants will have more kids. And the original inhabitants would be ‘othered’ in their own land.
I see no way out from this vicious cycle, unfortunately.
LB says
What crap. You make it seem like only the “immigrants” have been electing all these leftist globalists after WWII which couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is that, in order to not appear racist and virtue signal about how “good” they are, the large majority of native Westerners voted (and are still voting) exclusively far left. While yes, the immigrants are breeding and importing at an insane speed, they still only make about 10-20% (depending on the country) of total population. That is nowhere near enough to solely elect a leader/party they want.
Do you see where I’m going with this? It is the native Westerners themselves who are to blame. The good news is that some of them are waking up to the immigrant threat (and I’m not talking only about muslims); the bad news is that it’s too little too late. Even if all Western countries miraculously decide to ban all non-Western immigrants (which will never happen), the damage has already been done. The millions of immigrants (who are now full-fledged Western citizens) will continue to multiply at a crazy fast rate and eventually make the native Westerners minorities in their own countries. It’s demographics, pure and simple.
Mural says
+1. Legit points.
As the Muslim vote en-bloc, to whichever party which gives them more freebies, their vote is much coveted. Now, In a close election, these clowns invariably become the king-makers or support the party which aligns with their interest. Demography is a numbers game.

You’re entirely correct, LB, all over Western Europe the dhimmis keep voting for ‘more of the same’, and Norway fits that category. True, they didn’t vote in Støre and dear little Hadja, but in Norway, the chubby-one has now turned Høyre (Right) into a leftist party. And it would appear Jensen was definitely starting to lean left before she saw the light, but FrP should dump her ASAP—she is killing the party.
And Listhaug; what has happened there, has she been ‘got at?’

Well it’s not like the commies didn’t telegraph their intentions. Their plan for world domination is right there in the Communist Manifesto. The Kalergi Plan too. Flooding Europe and the rest of the West with muslims was all planned and not for humanitarian reasons.

I was not aware of the Kalergi plan. I will look it up. Thanks.
So, Basically, the Quran is online. The communist manifesto is online. But literate people do not want to read it or would rather look away. Strange world we live in.
LB says
They don’t read it because it’s a “far right conspiracy” and therefore “racist”. That’s all it takes for a majority of Westerners to never look it up. The fact of the matter is that if you tell a Westerner that, using a toilet for example, is racist, there’s a high chance that he/she will never use the toilet again. It’s stupidity and gullibility at it’s finest.

A Muslim should NEVER be elected to public office in this country. Muslims are bound by Islam to follow Sharia law. My questions.
1. Has any Christian political leader proclaimed that “the future must not belong to those who slander Christ”.
2. Does any Christian sect claim that slandering Christ justifies killing the slanderer?
3. Are there any places in the world where Christians go stark raving mad when Christ is criticized?
4. Are there any countries in the world which imprison people for blaspheming Christ?
5. Did the prophets of any other religions kill husbands and take their wives as sex slaves. And engage in torture?
6. Is there any other religion which claims that you are phobic because you don’t agree with the tenets of that religion?
7. Is there any other religion which has adherents who engage daily in terrorism against people of other religions and even people of their own religion?
8. there any other religion which has stolen the prophets of other religions and claimed them as their own?
9. Is there any other religion as totalitarian, supremacist, violent, xenophobic, irrational and generally annoying as islam?
10. Has any other religion produced as many crybabies?
11. Does any other religion deny free will and the golden rule?
12. Is there any other religion which is essentially political and which opposes freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of and from religion, gender equality and equality of citizenship?
13. Are there adherents of any other religion refusing to shelter in place to the same extent as Muslims?
14. Has the leader of any Christian sect claimed that its God will save them from COVID-19?
15. Does any other religion claim that its god punishes people for not submitting to him.

You are very kind James. I retired at the end of 2015, a few weeks before my 69th birthday. I had been working since the age of 7 when I had my first paper route. I read Wellman’s The Art of Cross-Examination before I started practising law and I read the autobiographies of great trial lawyers like Louis Nizer. I wouldn’t be telling the truth if I denied being a good cross-examiner. I have two stories that I would like to share with you. I will share the shorter one with you now and the longer one when there’s more time.
It was 1982 and we were assessing the account of my new client’s previous lawyer. Prior to the hearing, he told me that he was “not afraid of my withering cross examination”. Undeterred, I proceeded with same. We took a break after an hour and the Master (A Practice Judge) and I were standing side-by-side in a washroom facing a wall. The Master said to me, sotto voce: “how many more nails are you going to put in that guys coffin”.
My cross examination technique was to ask the lawyer whether he agreed with me that – and then state something very good about his/my client as a mother, she having having lost an interim custody motion, which was overturned on appeal. Of course the lawyer agreed with every statement that I put to him about her great caregiver qualities. I then took him one by one through each statement and asked him if the information contained in the statement was Included in the affidavit that he had prepared and filed on behalf of his client. When he said no to each and every question it was clear that he had failed to draft a good affidavit which properly put his client’s case before the court
James Lincoln says
Great story, Terry.
Thanks for sharing. Anxiously awaiting the other story, when you have time…

As Martin Luther, Johannes Bugenhagen, Olaus Petri, Peder Palladius, Hans Tausen, and the rest are rolling in their graves, I mentally stik my thumbs in my armpits and dance around Storhaug saying “cluck, cluck, clukc”. The man goes after a few Free Church Protestants who are praying and preaching repentance to people while treating Muslims with kid gloves because he knows that if he goes after the Muslims, there’s a good chance he’ll en up like Theo van Gogh. Storhaug is no defender of liberty and human dignity, and never will be. He’s part of the craven crowd that should be sent back to private life ASAP.
And don’t think that organized perversion, feminism, and the ike are ever going to be anti-Jihadist. Islam is too powerful a “MultieCultie” ally, even if it is far from EmCeePeeCee. The feminists and LGBTQ crowd push an egenda in which the worst enemy possible is human reproduction. There are already a few calling for toleration for pedophelia, which means the further degradation and demoralization of the West. No-one with an ounce of concern for what’s happening to our civilization should ever vote for a SD party in Europe or the Democrats in the USA.

And muslims who follow the koran all the way are also not extremists, but normal muslims.
Some folks just want to paint religion in general in a bad light, such as atheists.
But since there is a coming war on true Christians and it has been growing steadily, which will lead to persecution, it is worth mentioning that I am a 100% Biblical Christian, and honored to be so, I am not ashamed of what the Bible says. If it calls it a sin, then that’s what it is!
The Hittite King says
How can you say that Muslims who follow the Qur’an are not extremists? Not all Muslims are extremists, unless they follow the Qur’an. I don’t think you read the Quran in your own language. The Qur’an is filled with hate speech and inhuman laws. I am reading the Bible right now and I can say that there are big differences between the two. But it’s interesting that you, as a Christian, defend the disgusting mess called the Qur’an.
kirk2entrprize says
If I may; I think Lydia, imho, was neither defending islam or the quran. To me, she was emphasizing something that many liberal Christians AND liberal muslims seem to miss. PRCS says
Thanks for your comment.
Muslims around the world know it is–top to bottom–not just a religion but a theocracy: a form of governance completely incompatible with and antithetical to our own. A system more than a few Muslims in America declared should be inflicted on the rest of us.
Of our fellow kuffar who think of it, accept it, as just a religion, I wonder how many would be less inclined toward that, be convinced otherwise perhaps or even push back were hey to understood its true intent and horrible totality.
mortimer says
Trond Giske’s irresponsible comments lack the basic knowledge required for him to discuss them. But he isn’t interested in facts. f
Let us summarize for Trond Giske what many authentic narrations declare:
ISLAM’S OFFICIAL BASIC DOCTRINES ABOUT WOMEN
1. Women are crooked like a rib and should not be straightened out. Basically, since women are beyond repair a man should not waste his time or expend any effort in trying to correct their condition.
2. Women have half the intelligence and half the religious ability of men.
3. Women’s testimony is worth half that of a man’s and because of her feable-mindedness and low morals.
4. Women are captives: prisoners and even domestic animals [awan] of their husbands.
5. Women may be beaten, but not in the face and man need not justify it.
6. Women who fail to please their husbands will be cursed by Allah, his angels, the houris (heavely sex slaves), and will not enter the Paradise. Men do not need to please their plural wives or sex slaves.
7. Muhammad would have commanded women to prostrate and bow before men.
8. Women are the most harmful temptation to men and keep them from being religious.
9. If a man touches his wife before prayer he may ‘wash’ himself with ‘clean dirt’ because women are dirtier than dirt.
10. If a woman eats pus from her husband’s nose or cooks one of her breasts for him to eat, she has not fulfilled her duty to be his servant.
11. A woman may be locked at home by her husband in perpetuity and starved to death.
The relevant hadiths conclusively prove that Muhammad’s instructions and commands do not honor women as claimed. In his last public words, Muhammad said women were domestic animals [awan] and prisoners that could be beaten if suspected of rebelliousness (no proof was required). This is the modern definition of abuse.
Many other hadiths are worse, suggesting that a woman owed it to her husband to suck the pus from his infected nose and the like. Such hadiths have been tolerated and quoted by authentic Islam for 1300 years.
Why does Trond Giske delude himself into thinking there is any comparison between severe Islamic inequality and misogyny and anything found in the West?
Scandinavian women are ten times more independent than women in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan.

Trond Giske , Norwegian leftist MP, presents with a certain “countenance”.

Response to ‘leftist look’ … he’s glib … he’s cocky … he’s smug … smugness means someone got away with a big lie and no one caught it or challenged it.
Smugness follows pulling a fast one … getting away with a crime.
Trond Giske thinks he is a wit. We half agree.
Giske logical ‘crime’ was to insult Christian fundamentalists by comparing their doctrine of wifely submission to their husband with Islam’s all-out attack on the character and intelligence of women in general.
Islam’s primary source texts are ten or twenty times more misogynistic. It’s a matter of comparing a mouse with an elephant or a minnow with a whale.
His glib oversimplification is the problem. Mainstream Christianity does not attack the religiosity, virtue or intelligence of women as Islam does. Islam has hundreds of examples of misogyny in its source texts.
Trond Giske knows nothing of these hundreds of passages.
Because he’s uninformed, Trond Giske is pretty cocky. Trond Giske went off half-cocked.
James Lincoln says
Sounds about right to me, mortimer…
Kepha says
Trond Giske knows that the free church Protestants who won’t ordain women and who say that homosexuality is a sin will do no more than pray for his repentance and conversion. He knows that if he goes after Islam for the same thing, he might literally have his head handed to him. He chooses the safe target.
The late Saul Bellow (a Jew, btw) once made the observation that the West seems eager to see the last of its Christianity. Trond Giske doubtlessly belongs to that segment of the West, and sees Islam as an ally in that struggle. I would not go so far as others to call Trond Giske/Tiske/Fiske a “woman”, lest I insult my wife and many others whom I hold in high regard. However, he does indeed seem to drip the smug, self-righteous, studied ignorance that marks so much of the modern Western Left.

Here is the other one, I wanted to share with you. Let me know if you see this. Kindest personal regards.

…………………
MY FIRST GREAT CROSS-EXAMINATION (1974)
In my first year of practice I was retained by a Legal Aid client who wanted to appeal a guilty plea. His story was that his lawyer had failed to appear in court on five separate remands and then showed up on the sixth occasion and told him to plead guilty as everything had been taken care of and he would receive a lenient sentence. He pled guilty before the toughest sentencing judge in the District and was promptly sentenced to jail for 30 days for impaired driving. In order to have a new trial he had to be allowed to withdraw his guilty plea on the basis of inadequate representation.
I reviewed the lawyers legal aid account and indeed he had charged for six court appearances. I then ordered transcripts of the appearances and surprisingly the client was telling the truth. The transcripts all showed that the case would be called. The client would identify himself. The judge would ask if he had counsel. The client would say yes but he’s not here. The case would then be remanded.
I cross-examined the lawyer on my clients motion to withdraw his guilty plea. The cross-examination was actually a piece of cake. I took the lawyer through each court date shown on his account and got him to commit to saying that yes indeed he was in court on that date. He would then give some BS story as to what happened in court on that day. After I had taken him through each of the court dates I then showed him the transcripts which demonstrated that he had been lying to the court about being present in court on those dates
Now for the kicker. When I finished my cross-examination I looked up at the judge. His head lay sweetly upon his desk. He was sound asleep. My client’s appeal was dismissed. The Assistant Crown Attorney told me it was the best cross-examination he had ever seen. We had a good chuckle that it was all for nought.

Thank you for sharing!

You’re welcome James. Judge Ball was a very nice man but I believe that he was in his 80s at the time.

Just how many fools are there who come out with the statements that try to equate Christianity with islam, or our Father in Heaven with the demon named satan the devil who was “thrown down from heaven”?
Arguing with any one of them, or debating any one of them, or presenting factual evidence that what they are claiming is nothing but rot, balderdash, garbage, and filthy lies, doesn’t cause any of them to retract their foolish and lying statements.
If any good is accomplished by refuting their false claims, it is that some people who previously didn’t realize the evil of islam and its filthy teachings, might read, hear, and learn the Truth. And, it shows all of those just what kind of person the one making the lying statements truly is, and on what side…Truth or lies, good or evil…they stand.
Kepha says
You have laid your finger on the studied ignorance of so many who claim to be our intellectual betters (the usual starting point of all Leftist discourse). But i is my fear that those sorts–of whom Trond Giske/Fiske is a prime example–will never learn until the Muslims come for their heads.
Andrea Jean Plamondon says
When people try to convince you that you and your beliefs are bad, in order to implement their beliefs don’t listen. That they have listened to those who are not fit to condemn them is unbelievable.
