My latest in PJ Media:
Osama E. El Hannouny, a 25-year-old man who lives in the Chicago suburb of Palos Hills, Illinois, has made his prejudices very clear, saying that he doesn’t like Christians. More than once he has acted on that dislike at churches in his area. But as his attacks don’t fit the mainstream media narrative, this article is likely to be the only place where you’ll hear about them.
Last Tuesday, when he should have been staying at home and making TikTok videos like other people his age, El Hannouny ventured out into the coronavirus-ridden wilds, heading for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palos Hills. Once he got there, he looked into the church through the doors, and saw that there were people inside (doesn’t anyone honor the coronavirus quarantine in Cook County?). Seeing his chance for jihad, El Hannouny immediately began piling leaves around the church’s gas main and air conditioning unit, making numerous trips back and forth to do so. Once he was satisfied that he had sufficient kindling, El Hannouny, according to the charges against him, set fire to the leaves.
As it happened, no one was hurt: firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and put out the fire before it did any significant damage. El Hannouny, however, continued his jihad, this time against the police who arrested him. According to Patch, “while El Hannouny was being processed, police said he started spitting at officers, reports said. El Hannouny also wrote a religious slur on the wall of his cell, according to the report. El Hannouny allegedly scratched, bit and spit at police when they tried to stop him.”
The officers who arrested him may have recognized El-Hannouny. It was only six months ago, November 17, 2019, that he showed up at two other churches in Palos Hills. With a laudable eye for ecumenical sensitivities, that time he chose the city’s First Baptist Church and the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. At both, he confined his activities to the parking lot, slashing the tires of a total of nineteen cars.
When he was arrested and asked why he had done such a thing, El Hannouny replied with unusual directness: “I don’t like Christians.” According to WBBM, he admitted to the 19 tire-slashings and was “charged with 14 counts of criminal damage to property.” El Hannouny was then “released on a personal recognize [sic] bond and electronic monitoring.” In January, authorities added on hate crime charges.
The hate crime charges didn’t deter El Hannouny from hating. For the new incident over at Sacred Heart Church, according to Patch, El Hannouny “appeared Wednesday before a Cook County judge on charges of arson, hate crimes, criminal damage to property, battery to a police officer and violation of bail bond.”
There is much more. Read the rest here.

Yep, this story will be buried because it doesn’t fit the insupportable narrative that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance.
The nonsense continues, not first and foremost due to followers of the iniquitous religion (and overall totalitarian belief system) which is Islam, but first and foremost due to non-Muslims who know next to nothing about Islam.
To know Islam, I mean to really know it, is to despise it. No other sane and morally defensible option exists.
Boromir's Horn says
W says “this story will be buried”
Absolutely, the only question is the depth, and that’s often determined by the political affiliation of the region it occurred. In this instance, it’s Chicago, Obama’s town, where all the news gets a heavily filtered.
Last November, he slashed the tires on 14 cars at two different churches with a knife, then bragged to the police he did it because of his hatred for Christians. He was charged with criminal damage to property and possession of cannabis and “released on a personal recognizant bond and electronic monitoring.” Notice the hate crime charges weren’t added until Jan – three months later – why the delay? ? Also, he’s no stranger to the police, he previously was arrested in Niles in early 2018 for giving cops a fake name and resisting arrest. The local Palos Hills newspaper told the story, the Chicago Tribune ignored it. Now he’s arrested a third time for what should be attempted murder charges: he saw people in the church, then set a fire under the gas line, hoping to blow the place up.
This is the way the Chicago Tribune tells the story “It was the second arrest for El Hannouny since November, when he was charged with 14 counts of criminal damage to property for allegedly slashing tires of vehicles at two church parking lots. The charges were later upgraded to a hate crime after he told police he disliked Christians.”
Notice how they mislead the reader? He told the police he “disliked” Christians THE DAY HE WAS ARRESTED, not in Jan.
Now, unless you believe it took the police 3 months to read their own report, this is just another example of headfake news.

Stories like this will continue until and whenever, if ever. Our so called leaders take the lead and address just what Islam really is and tell their constituents and anyone else that will listen
An Evil entity of Satan is trying to take over our lives and our way of life and as long as our leaders and the mainstream media remains silent the Evil will continue.

I am not worried I live in a part of New Jersey we only have about 1,000 or so of these people I hardly see any of them once in a while at Dunkin’ Donuts and Walmart and ShopRite I do not consider them part of my world or in my social circle or any circle I ignore them and act like they do not even exist I believe in Jesus Christ as my lord and savior one day when judgement day comes I will be in heaven and the heathens non Christians will go to wherever they go and I will never see them for all eternity
Deborah says
If you live in NJ, you should know “these people” are making great in-roads to our political system. In certain areas, “these people” are the only ones being elected to office. These same people have systematically taken over numerous churches, VFWs, schools and cemeteries. You may not have to face them in heaven, but sure as hell you’re going to have to reap their whirlwind here on earth.

You sound like a typical case of ‘head in sand’.Before you know it your are could be swarming with these creatures. They operate stealthily.Peacefully at first to fool the unthinking masses and then when numbers are sufficient start violent acts (as the above case would indicate). If the takeover of our countries is not going fast enough they will exert themselves in many ways.We here in Britain are being taken over by stealth with the willing help of our supine governments.

Response to RW: 15% of Muslims attend mosque and the same number supports jihad terror groups. About 50% of Muslims want Islam to spread by peaceful means and 35% are virtual drop-outs from Islam. Less than 1% of Muslims are jihadist wannabes.

If a person professes Christ Jesus, aren’t we commanded to love ALL people and to pray for ALL people? Yes, we are. Is it any wonder the unsaved question our authenticity. What that reminds me of is the Jewish Sadducees and pharacees. As a born-again Christian, I don’t want anyone going to hell. I pray your heart changes to feel the same.

John, it will be difficult for you to ignore Muslims when they are tying to kill you.

Hear hear! If the local police are not infiltrating and surveilling this savage’s mosque, they aren’t doing their jobs. And how about the police in your town?
Marilyn Griffin says
I have a question and maybe you know the answer. Among all the current actions against church meetings in some of our states, it seems to be just Christian churches and their congregations. I have wondered, are the muslims and their mosques in those states being treated exactly the same way or are the muslims continuing to meet in their mosques as usual? Do you know? I have asked the question several times on different relevant posts, but no response.
somehistory says
I would like to know about that too. The churches near me are all closed up where before, they had full parking spaces. I’m nor sure just where the moslim barracks are in this city, so unsure if they are obeying the stay home orders, or not.
Wellington says
Seconded, somehistory. I too would like to know, per your query and Marilyn Griffin’s.
Wouldn’t be surprised, though, if mosques are granted passes that churches and synagogues are not. After all, and a la Orwell, all religions are created equal, except one religion is created more equal than others.
P.S. I have no doubt you know which religion that is.
somehistory says
“more equal” in the evil category, the violent category, the arrogant category, the lying category. Their dumpsters are full and running over with those things.

President Trump has just addressed this, albeit a bit obliquely:

Yes Muslims go about as they please goto mosque the double standards between Muslims and none Muslims again especially at this coronavirus time but the police are a disgrace cowards when it comes to dealing with anything Islamic.

Spitting and biting during the COVID pandemic is the exact tactic Muslims are using in India to spread the coronavirus. He should be charged with aggravated assault and attempted murder.

Yes, attempted mass murder by arson.

Send a link two president trump you can bet he will do something about it.Bet you are all two chikhen two do that I will do ???
Wellington says
Next time try three things: 1) Proper spelling—if that’s not “two” much for you; 2) Abandon the puerile insult; and 3) Consider that “what” often times is to be used rather than “that.”
Remember, people often unwittingly reveal more about themselves than they realize. You sure have.

I have actually been defending Templer, noting that English is likely not his first language.
But sneering at Anti-Jihadists here as being “chicken” is just grotesque.
And many of us regularly write our elected officials–I’m sure this is true of many here at Jihad Watch.
somehistory says
Evidently, g, templer didn’t appreciate our defense of his right to comment even when having an English grammar problem. Insults never sit well with me, and I won’t be defending him again.

It is about bloody time our own legal system recognizes this kind of behavior for what it is .
There is a more specific term this moron of a savage must be charged with other than a HATE CRIME: it is called JIHAD. A derivative of DHIMMITUDE, another legal term that must be outlawed.
What is congress waiting for to delegitimize and criminalize these 2 notions? Another 9/11.
Frank Anderson says
T.N. there MAY be more than one way to change the law. Ponder a declaratory judgment action. It would take a person uniquely interested in zealous litigation to the completion of the case, ” a real party in interest” and require that a similar “real party in interest” be sued for the purpose of declaring what pretends to be a “religion” is in truth a criminal conspiracy. LONG stretch and hard case from the first pleading. But at least waiting for Congress to act is not required.

The Jihad Attacks on Churches in Illinois That You Heard Nothing About
…………………….
True enough–I’m sure very few Americans, even those in Illinois, have heard anything about this.

Didn’t you know? Easter weekend is everything that the Koran hates most about Christians and Christianity.
The Koran contradicts the THREE MAIN POINTS of the KERYGMA … the core, essential Christian ‘gospel’ message … namely, 1) the death, 2) the resurrection and 3) the divinity of Christ.
Jihadists believe that by ATTACKING CHURCHES on Easter Weekend, they are PROVING THAT CHRISTIANITY IS FALSE. The are actually proving only that Islam is violent.
The APPEAL TO FORCE (Argumentum ad bacculum) does not prove a thesis … it is the admission that the violent person has no valid argument.
Didn’t you know? The jihadists know.

Far fewer people around the world care about such niceties than people who think it’s plain stupid. We are in a tiny minority on this one.
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
Like Boromir’s Horn, I too am annoyed with the uninformative style of reporting. For example, “El Hannouny also wrote a religious slur on the wall of his cell.” Well, what *was* this religious slur? Maybe it was something like “You crypto-Mennonite heretics!” We are not even told what religion this Mr. El Hannouny adheres to. Has he ever claimed to be a Muslim? Take a look at his hand-sign at the bottom of the photo in

It seems to be a bovine head with two horns, so maybe he’s a cow-worshiping Hindu.

Agree. The Koran, hadiths, Sira, Sharia law and Islamic history are all warning bells ringing loudly.
Even 19 years after 9-11, Leftards and Globalists are denying that Islam has an authentic teaching of warfare against disbelievers. They are irresponsible.
mortimer says
Further addition to above: The counterjihadists of today are a ‘VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS’ just as Winston Churchill was in the 1930s.
We foresee that eventually Islam will get its act together (more than ISIS) and a global conflagration against nuclear Islam is possible, considering what we know about the JIHAD IDEOLOGY from Islam’s own primary source texts and from Islamic history. We are living in the time of the Third Great Jihad.
One of the ways to stop jihad is to take away the money Muslims are using to prosecute warfare against the Western democracies.
eduardo odraude says
The media often thinks they must prevent the public from hearing the full truth, because the media often has little respect for the public or trust that the public can deal responsibly with the truth. Many in the media believe the public is full of troglodytes who will start lynching innocent people in response to what this guy and others are doing. Or that a neo-fascist movement or Christian theocratic (Christian theocracy is an oxymoron, but most in the media are too ignorant to know that) genocidal movement against Muslims. To be fair, though, one not infrequently sees at Islam-critical sites comments that cross the line into fascist or genocidal proposals. But even if there are sometimes some thuggish minds among us, should that stop all public discussion of Islam’s totalitarian supremacist violent expansionist behavior and teachings? After all, by suppressing the truth, the media arguably makes thuggish violence against Muslims more, not less, likely. John F. Kennedy said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” If civilized, honest, public, mainstream discussion about Islam is largely suppressed, then you’ll get, God forbid, more loony fascist thugs like Anders Brevik, who said he did his heinous mass murder because he saw that honest public discussion of Islam was not permitted, was slandered, suppressed, censored.
gravenimage says
Actually, Anders Brevik has said how much he admires Al Qaida’s tactics. This thug is no Anti-Jihadist.
