How far gone is shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain? This far gone. The Theresa May government admitted in February 2018 that a “significant portion” of returned Islamic State jihadis were free, as they were considered no longer to be a security concern. But Daniel Burke languishes behind bars for fighting against the Islamic State. This persecution of foes of the Islamic State in Britain is just more shameless Islamopandering from the British government, ever anxious to appease its Muslim population.
“Former soldier accused of terrorism offences unable to attend court because he is self-isolating,” by Emily Pennink and Paul Britton, Manchester Evening News, April 9, 2020:
A former soldier accused of terrorism offences was unable to attend a hearing in his case because he is self-isolating on remand in prison, a court heard.
Former British soldier Daniel Burke is accused of wanting to fight against so-called Islamic State alongside Kurdish militia in Syria.
The 32-year-old ex-Paratrooper, of Amberwood Drive, Baguley, Wythenshawe, is being held in custody after being charged with three terror offences.
It is alleged that between October 7 and November 5 last year, he engaged in conduct with the intention to assist another person to commit, prepare or instigate an act of terrorism.
Between September 18 and November 2 last year, he allegedly entered into, or became concerned in, an arrangement with others to provide money and military equipment while having reasonable cause to suspect that it would or may be used for the purposes of terrorism.
He is further charged with engaging in conduct in preparation to commit, prepare or instigate an act of terrorism between October 7 and December 7 last year.
The defendant, who has allegedly expressed a desire to travel to Syria to fight for Kurdish militia, was charged following a port stop in December last year….
The defendant, who formerly served in the Parachute Regiment between 2007 and 2009, was unable to attend court by video link due to self isolation in custody, the judge was told….

At the same time, those who actually killed innocent people while fighting for IS in Syria are walking the streets of London and other cities in the UK as well as Canada, men who fought to protect the innocent are prosecuted (or may I say persecuted). This is a complete travesty of everything moral.

Yes and it’s all wrong. I have been a victim of the religion of peace. I know what they are like I made a programme for the BBC. As you can guess they never aired it. This man should be given a medal not sitting in jail where all the odds are stacked against him.

This is counter-intuitive. What? Were the Kurds supposed to wait for ISIS to exterminate them? Not defend themselves?
Why arrest someone who fought to PREVENT genocide perpetrated by the most repressive terrorist state in the world? Dan Burke’s act was one of selfless, altruistic concern for the vulnerable, Kurdish innocents.
He was fighting on the same side as the NATO soldiers and airmen in Iraq.
This is punishment offensively stupid. The Attorney General did not have to prosecute him.
ISIS fighters committed crimes against humanity which should get life sentences. They should still be tried and punished … why not? Absurd.
It is absurd to say that the Kurds were terrorists when they were engaging in resistance to genocide coming from ISIS.
Put the ISIS fighters in jail.

It’s very simple, really. It’s Isaiah 5:20: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”
Just as prophesied for the Last Days. We can expect nothing else.

I agree wholeheartedly. This is mind bending bs of the highest order.
The Brit government should be asking him instead, what he needs to get there and help.
Then when he gets back pin a medal on him.
Paul says
Totally agree with you mate

UK: Former soldier charged with three terror offenses, held in prison for fighting AGAINST the Islamic State (ISIS)
……………………..
What insanity. And this is not the first time Britain has done this:
“UK: Man who went to Iraq to fight against the Islamic State is convicted on terror charge”

There are more such stories.

This is obscene! At a time when the British government is welcoming back to Britain men and women who were known ISIS torturers and executioners, and telling us that “they are no longer a threat to society”, this brave man, who put his life on the line to battle these ISIS monsters is jailed by the British government.
It could only happen in staggering, dhimmi Britain!
Michael Copeland says
“His case was brought before Mr Justice Sweeney at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.” (same news article)
Mr. Justice Sweeney said this to Lee Rigby’s killers:
“You each converted to Islam some years ago. Thereafter you were radicalised and each became an extremist — espousing a cause and views which, as has been said elsewhere, are a betrayal of Islam and of the peaceful Muslim communities who give so much to our country.”
Michael Adebolajo (Mujahid Abu Hamza), well coached in Islam by Anjem Choudary, shouted at him,
“You know nothing about Islam!”
before being escorted out of the court.

Daniel Burke is from Manchester. It is therefore highly likely that he is being held in Manchester’s Strangeways Prison:

Just as these criminal hypocrites think the worst (if not the only real) form of hypocrisy is to deny being a hypocrite, they seem to think the worst terrorist is the (equally presumed criminal hypocrite) who fights against the terrorists. Not to mention – to guilty white liberal racists – that it’s the swarthy muslim terrorists’ holy religious and racial right to execute all those mentally-superior white infidels for perpetually “oppressing” (confusing) them, because as everyone already knows, the poor mentally inferior little dears are always at the mercy of their violent animal instincts anyway, so it’s our fault for provoking them – and THAT’S not racist at all (to hypocrites)!

The UK government’s stance is to appease muslim criminals and to ignore the fact that thousands of them, living among us, are ticking time bombs. And, anyone brave enough to stand up to them is ruthlessly persecuted, prosecuted and imprisoned. The UK is another Western asylum now being run by the lunatics.

This brave soldier’s act could easily be compared with assisting the French resistance fight the Nazis in WWII but oh how things have changed. It would be one thing to disagree with his choice, but to charge him with terrorism is insane. The feeling of helplessness is increasing by the day. We are losing this fight, whether it be the UK, EU or US.
