“The author Pierre Duriot (FB, 01.05) notices that monsieur Haram does not make it difficult for the police to track him down: ‘This means that he is convinced of his impunity.'”
French authorities, like authorities all over the West, cower in fear of their rapidly growing and increasingly restive Muslim populations, and so the perpetrator of this incident can be certain that he can film himself in action and go unpunished.

“WATCH: Muslim attacks and insults the philosopher Éric Zemmour, who is critical of Islam, in the streets of Paris, France,” Medforth Blog, May 3, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
…On Thursday April the 30th, a young man discovered Eric Zemmour in a Parisian street, apparently out shopping. He immediately insulted him by recording himself with his mobile phone. He then boasted of having spit at him and published the clip on his Snapchat account under the pseudonym “Haram La Gratuité”. On his return home, the person then claimed to have received both support messages from his subscribers and insults from Zemmour’s “followers”. However, he admitted that he “should not have insulted him” and stated that “it is impossible to talk to him, he is superstrong, debate is impossible”. “It’s as if I wanted to talk to Marine Le Pen,” he continued, “apart from insulting his mother, what do you want to do?
Comment by Dani Klein on Facebook:
A young man, who is obviously suffering from Ramadan fasting, discovers Eric Zemmour in a Parisian street and starts recording himself: “Son of a bitch, fuck your mother well!Under the nickname “Haram La Gratuité” (Haram, the groundlessness) he posts the video on Snapchat and explains: “It’s impossible to talk to him, he’s super-strong, the discussion is not possible”.
The author Pierre Duriot (FB, 01.05) notices that monsieur Haram does not make it difficult for the police to track him down: “This means that he is convinced of his impunity.
That’s right. Those who belong to the fasting community have nothing to fear from French justice.

Got a problem? Cherchez l’Islam, as the French saying goes, or will soon.

Proving again that since Islam cannot stand up to rational scrutiny and criticism, all it has left is physical threats.
What a woeful religion. Every Muslim should be ashamed to be a Muslim but if they were that would entail being a Muslim no more, which would itself require death for such a person per Sura 4:89 and the Bukhari Hadith 9.84.57.
QED.
mortimer says
Good summary from Wellington: ‘cannot stand up to rational scrutiny … all it has is physical threats’ … the so-called Argumentum ad baculum says, ‘Believe this or I’ll kill you’. It is not a proof. Muslims have no valid argument to defend it.
Rufolino says
Those who have lost the argument can only resort to abuse.
DHazard says
Islam is humiliated which makes Muslims feel bad. They cannot understand why people make fun of Islam so they hope another Muslim kills the man who made them feel like children with his words. And, since a humiliated Islam makes humiliated Muslims, Muslims may “act out” to express the pain of glimpsing life as a normal person while knowing your inner imam will never allow you or Islam itself to be fully human.
Kerry Wade says
This Muslim filth does not belong in France.
RichardL says
You obviously have never been to France. The France I lived in, just like the UK and Germany I lived in belong to Muslim filth just like that. You speak up, You lose your job or your teeth. Or both.
Here is another “refugee” who explains why he made a video in a German supermarket licking things and putting them back in the shelf. You don’t have to speak German to understand it.

The French police may already be watching the man called ‘Monsieur Haram’. He is begging the police to arrest him. They may be hoping to follow ‘Monsieur Haram’ to a bigger fish.
To be sure, jihadis are swimming in a ‘school’. The French police will drag their net when they are ready … I hope it won’t be too late to prevent jihad-related fatalities.
rubiconcrest says
Muslim’s are afraid to admit that author Pierre Duriot is right. Is this what the French call a free society?
mortimer says
PRESUMPTUOUS! “Comment by Dani Klein on Facebook: A young man, who is obviously suffering from Ramadan fasting” How does Dani Klein know that? He doesn’t.
No one knows whether Monsieur Haram was fasting. He may have been drinking beer like jihadists I have met.
mortimer says
I praise French author Pierre Duriot for exposing the errors in Islam. If a few hundred French intellectuals joined him, they could demolish Islam. French intellectuals are trained to dissect something and demolish it. The French intelligentsia are up to the task of destroying Islam. They’d better destroy Islam before Islam destroys France and Europe.

Maybe Casablanca’s Richard “Rick” Blaine had noticed a harbinger of things to come when he said to Major Strasser:
“Not particularly my beloved Paris”…
Wellington says
My favorite film of all time, James.
P.S. My wife and I have been to Claude Rains’ grave in a very small cemetery in Moultonboro, NH many times to pay him tribute. Have laid flowers there often. Thought you’d like to know.
James Lincoln says
Wellington,
Yes, Casablanca is what I would call a “perfect” film!
I have a little story…
Throughout high school, college, med school, and residency training I saw very few films in the theater. I also watched very little TV, so I never had much of a chance to see movies – old or new.
I got to the point that I was very embarrassed that I had not seen movies like Casablanca, The Godfather, Citizen Kane, Double Indemnity, etc. All of my friends had…
So…I bought a VCR my first year in medical practice, got a good cable hook up with Cinemax and HBO, and recorded and watched literally hundreds of movies – old and new. I also rented tons of VHS tapes. I finally caught up, and even surpassed, my peers!
I remember my first time seeing Casablanca. I knew nothing about it, and purposely read nothing about the plot, etc. The first time through, I didn’t fully get it. By the third or fourth time, though, it ALL made perfect sense – and everything fit together perfectly! What a masterpiece! I have probably watched it a total of 20 times – or more!
I have since read quite a bit about the making of the film. At the time, the actors, writers, director, producer, etc., felt that they had made a “pretty darn good film” but they didn’t know at the time that it was destined to be, perhaps, the greatest film ever made.
Thanks for the info about Claude Rains. Next time I ‘m around Moultonboro, New Hampshire, I’ll stop in and pay my respects.
Best wishes to both you and yours.
Wellington says
I think, James, that truly great films require multiple viewings, for instance fantastic Film Noir movies like The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep and Out of the Past. Ditto for most Hitchcock films which tend to be inexhaustible.
BTW, my mistake—it’s Moultonborough, not Moultonboro (though right next door are Tuftonboro and Wolfeboro). The grave site is on Bean Road in Red Hill Cemetery and if traveling north on said road you will come to a much larger cemetery first which is NOT Red Hill Cemetery. It’s a dark granite tombstone right next to his last wife’s and has a memorable quote on it. Oh yeah, worth the visit. Then you can go to the Corner House Inn in Center Sandwich for a fine repast, not far away, though don’t go on a Tuesday because they’re closed that day.
James Lincoln says
Wellington,
Yes, I’m a HUGE fan of classic film noir! I’ve seen all the major ones several times…
I’ll definitely find the Red Hill Cemetery, I’m pretty familiar with the area.
Thanks for the dining suggestion, sounds like a plan. Also, if you haven’t been there, try Hart’s Turkey Farm in Meredith, New Hampshire. Their classic turkey dinner is fantastic! Everything made from scratch. Sorry, no BLTs on the menu…
Speaking of film noir, I think tonight I’ll pop in “In a Lonely Place” (1950)…
Wellington says
Thanks for your reply, James. AND, my better half and I have been to Hart’s. Great place. Seems we both know the area.
Check out too (when once again opened) the Poor People’s Pub in Sanbornville in the town of Wakefield. Their meatloaf special on Thursday night is my favorite. Just sayin’.
Hey, who would a’ thunk that JW doubles as a restaurant guide. Hope Mr. Spencer doesn’t mind.

One of my faves: Notorious, a Hitchcock film with Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman. Classic Hitchcock, probably my favorite Hitchcock film. Besides being a great thriller, it has the greatest love scene of all time.
Wellington says
A truly great film, eduardo. Even a lesser Hitchcock film is still better than about 98% of all other films. He was The Master, though personally very weird, as Tippi Hedren knows only too well.
Rufolino says
Interesting, James, that Bergman said, when they were making “Casablanca”, nobody knew how it was going to end.
gravenimage says
Yes–Casablanca is an amazing film–one of my all time favorites.
One of my favorite scenes is the singing of the Marseillaise. The courage that took…
Rufolino says
The most brilliant love scene in “Notorious” is the artificial one in the wine-cellar: “Push me away !”
(Another inexhaustible Hitchcock is the lesser-known “The Paradine Case” which was cut to shreds by Selznick. Alida Valli as Mrs.Paradine is haunting, unforgettable.)

All this talk about films set in exotic locations has made me thirsty…think it will be Whisky Galore tonight….no I am not talking about the film (though it was directed by my namesake) more the intent.

Speaking of Casablanca and classical movies, may i heartily recommend..?
Kind Hearts and Coronets{1949}
…a British black comedy in which Alec Guinness plays 8 different characters who are all killed off one by one by the vengeful son of an aristocratic woman disowned by her family by marrying out of her social class.
Wellington says
An absolutely brilliant comedy, FYI. Have watched it at least ten times.
Together with Some Like It Hot (1959), Young Frankenstein (1974) and Groundhog Day (1993), along with the best of the Pink Panther films, these movies constitute the greatest comedies in the English language. I would also note the 1955 film, The Lady Killers, which in its own special way is priceless and definitely better than its 2004 remake.

Are we next going to hear that Eric Zemmour has been shot on his doorstep by a bogus delivery man, as happened to Lars Hedegaard?
As “beyond partisan” commented:

so it must suppress all criticism.

Zemmour, a French Jew of Algerian decent, is in grave danger. The vicious dogs whose family escaped from, are chasing him and every other Jew in France. Solution?… Inflict untold violence on the Über racists.

I used to use pages from the terror guide, the koran, as toilet paper until I got a rash. Now I just use them to pick up the dog’s business from the lawn. I tried to use it to line the cat box, but the cats thought it was redundant.
OLD GUY says
Well he should get a little jail time for that. But the real truth is that islam can only respond with violence when ever it is questioned about any of Muhammads or Islamic teachings. Theres a reason for that, they simply can’t defend islam or Muhammad in a verbal debate regarding its teachings and in particularly sharia law. It is fairly common for individuals that know they are wrong to resort to violence or temper tantrums when they can not defend or explain their positions.
Islam’s answer to questioning is mind control through Sharia law.
