You can view the video that YouTube banned here.
As noted many times here, “hate speech” is not, contrary to the assumption of indoctrinated college students everywhere, a readily identifiable category. It is a subjective term that is used by the powerful to silence the powerless. The powers behind YouTube don’t want you to know about the Islamic persecution of Christians. Thus it is “hate speech” and must be banned.
As this continues, the freedom of society itself will be threatened. Once the social media giants can silence people unchallenged, they can wield absolute power, for who will have a platform to challenge them, even the President of the United States?
I warned about all this in my book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Free Speech (and Its Enemies). But that book was, of course, “hate speech.”

Ecosse and Wellington, we get this pointless nonsense from this poster all the time here.
The Kenites were a small tribe mentioned in the Bible. In the 19th century, a couple of fringe Biblical scholars came up with the baseless idea that the Kenites were so named because they descended from Cain (Kain).
This poster has taken this further, and decided that all evil in the world comes from those descended from this small tribe.
Of course, this makes no sense. For one thing, this tribe was not particularly nefarious. They often allied with the Israelites, and Moses’ father-in-law Jethro was a Kenite.
Then, this also of course makes no sense logistically–why would all Muslims and everyone who foolishly supports Islamic policies be descended from a tiny tribe from the Levant?
Anyway, despite all of this having been pointed out to her numerous times, this poster continues to post this off-topic spam.

One of the greatest threats to freedom, freedom having a whole host of enemies to be sure, is the utterly bogus distinction between hate speech and free speech. Once this distinction becomes enshrined in law and custom, you can kiss freedom good-bye.
Liberals of old got this but modern liberals, call them leftists if you prefer, are either clueless of this truth OR are only too cognizant of this verity. Whichever, leftists are a menace to liberty and one either knows this or should know it.

Even as an Agnostic I have no difficulty discerning that the major media and so called watchdogs, like the SPLC, are anti-Christian. I see that prosperity has brought an attitude of arrogance along with disbelief. It would be amusing to hear their private conversations about how easy it is to mislead and corrupt congress.
It is time to regulate and break up the tech giants that now control speech in opposition to the citizen rights granted under the US Constitution. Where once we thought that Big Brother would be government, the tech giants have become the actual Big Brothers; big enough to trample over the people and the government.
Standard Oil was a Mom&Pop next to today’s giants of commerce who have killed the real small Mom&Pop businesses. We now have a New Feudal System that controls government, jobs, and punishes the dissenters. Debt is the new prison that replaces the old peasant share cropping. The Banks love their position as jailers and the retail giants love indebting customers so much they want in on the action with their own credit lines and cards. Even the universities can’t get enough.
When a media giant prohibits the reporting of actual persecution of Christians for a few more bucks and selling the leftist view, you know the corruption and bias runs deep. It’s time to break out the anti-trust laws and whittle the giants down to mangeable size.

gravenimage says,
“I doubt very much that many of them have any idea of what the vicious Qur’an has to say.”
100% true.
Leftists, nearly universally, have not actually read the qur’an.
For some very strange reason, they firmly believe that they already know what the qur’an contains – even though they not have personally read it.
They rely on imams and leftist muslim apologists for its contents and interpretation.
Imagine buying a life insurance policy from an CLU agent who never read the policy that he/she was going to sell you – all because the agent’s “mother” told him/her what it contained…
gravenimage says
Yes, James–I have spoken with many leftist friends and acquaintances, who have not read a word of the Qur’an, but are certain that it is all sweetness and light. I actually had one friend who literally put her hands over her ears when I tried to tell her what Qur’an 9:5 has to say. And this was an otherwise intelligent and well-informed person.
The willful denial runs really deep.
Vlad Tepes says
With the left, the point is never the point. What I used to call, “selective enforcement” i have come to realize is dialectic negation as blueprinted by Hegel and Marx. This is thanks to Stephen Coughlin’s work on Unconstrained Analytics site.
So they are FOR any hate speech which is effective at destroying Western Civilization such as Islam, a powerful weapon indeed, BLM which is Marxist anti-White hate speech, J Street or any org. that advocates against Israel’s existence, and usually the USA’s existence as well etc. etc.
Once you get that “the point is never the point. The Revolution is always the point” things fall into place. There is no hypocrisy. There is no selective enforcement. At least not as an arbitrary thing anyway.
What there is, remains the constant tick tick tick of dialectic negation and movement to the left eternally and without end.
For an example of that, notice how the whole “transexual movement”, a taxonomy that doesn’t even really exist, was used to negate a previous form of feminism such that men claiming to be women could do great damage to women in sporting events, bathrooms and locker rooms just by claiming to be female and nothing more.
Notice how well that fits in.
Transexuals negate women who want some semblance of order in a Western paradigm, maintaining sexual dimorphism and a rational taxonomy.
Any order is smashed.
I dunno if that answers your question or not. But I really enjoyed writing this out.

Author and retired crime reporter Colin Flaherty writes on the subject of black on white crime in the USA, and used to post videos on Youtube. He chronicles his trouble with Youtube’s moderators, to the point he just quit bothering with the videos and went to a social media site called Minds.com.
Flaherty uses blue-collar language to describe rape, robbery and murder so of course that would upset liberals, and he’ll contrast the coverage that mainstream media gives stories by finding similar ones with races reversed. He’ll also post statistics and go in-depth on how those ‘books’ are cooked by police and politicians long before they reach the public.
People like Flaherty and content contributors here can speak truth all day long and nobody wouldd hear them if the big Tech companies had their way. I saw where POTUS Trump signed an executive order about liberal bias among tech companies, hopefully they’ll take is a wake-up call instead of doubling down.

Wellington says
I agree, James, about things being even worse now than in 2014. Getting worse by the year here in America and where the Left is most in control, college campuses, there is true freedom least present. And with the loss of true freedom always comes victim-oriented thinking and the necessity for a scapegoat, the scapegoat presently is the white race and especially white heterosexual males. Nazism scapegoated Jews and other ethnicities, Marxism the upper and middle classes, Islam non-Muslims, and Leftism principally the white race—the white privilege nonsense, which one MUST accept or else, is indicative of this. Totalitarian ideologies (and Leftism has totalitarianism written all over it) must always have a “them” to blame, hate, humiliate, ostracize, diminish and even eliminate.
Another common feature to all totalitarian ideologies is that they put forward a great deal of really stupid stuff. As examples, Marxism has determinism, which I like to call voodoo for intellectuals, Nazism had the silly Aryan racial theory, Islam is replete with nonsense like the flying donkey with the head of a woman and the tail of a peacock Mohammed rode on, and Leftism promotes all kind of gender nonsense even to the point of calling pronouns sexist.
Now the Left wants to implement the bogus distinction between free speech and hate speech by way of judicial action and legislation upon American society as a whole, which is ever increasingly what the Democratic Party in its entirety wants and indicative of just how much the Democratic Party of old is, for all intents and purposes, no more. Serious trouble we’re in and fighting back against the rot and nonsense is paramount. Leftism, like Islam, Nazism and Marxism, must be mocked and eventually placed on the extreme edges of society where few “reside” or we can kiss freedom good-bye.
James Lincoln says
Wellington,
Much thanks for you very well written reply…
curious says
I agree 100% with gravenimage, as usual, and reply only to add experiences and one significant point.
A “multiculturalist” who has known me for years hung up on me rather than hear a discouraging word about Islam. Also, a leftist who has known me for years said the Muslims he knew were leftists, and dismissed a long list of other people as “Nazi”, and warned he does not hang around with Nazis; in his mind, the world is divided between leftists vs Nazis.
There is also the soft bigotry of low expectations. Centrists tend to misperceive Muslims as a persecuted victim “race”, and any criticism of them as “punching down”, even where Muslims are in charge and flinging faggots off of roofs. I apoligize if I offended anyone with that phrase, but it comes from a parody cartoon video based on the fact that Muslims throw gay people off high buildings and then stone them to death on the ground below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCWx3ujqYpQ
I recommend the video highly to anyone and everyone. If puzzled why, then please watch the John Cleese video on the difference between serious and somber. I tire of somber politicians and their “thoughts and prayers” while they do nothing serious to confront or even expose the horror of Islam.
Rufolino says
If you need to apologise for using the gratuitous term “faggots” about gay people, then why did you use this disgusting pejorative word ?

Thank you, curious. And none of you experiences surprise.

*”apologize”, not “igize”. I wish this site had a feature to edit comments.
I wish also that certain commenters could distinguish between (a) people whom they might not personally invite to dinner and (b) people who would kill them. If you go out of your way to insult and to alienate group (a), then who will join you to protect against group (b)? The main reason certain people are tagged as “Nazi” or “right wing” or whatever is because they insist on signaling the opposite of virtue, i.e. their own ‘righteous’ vice of imagining themselves superior and ‘leftards’ and others as inferior. Even highly intelligent people can be misinformed. If you call them “leftarded” (as Mortimer does), then you’ve lost, because (a) they know that they are not retarded and (b) retarded people are not generally trying to spread Islam.
The real issue is why do so many liberals believe in spreading a doctrine that says to kill them. For the answer to that, look at Nixon’s previously secret deals with KSA, shifting the USD from the gold standard to the Petrodollar standard. Bloomberg News filed a Freedom of Information request in 2014, and got them from the Obama administration. Those deals enabled Gulf Muslims to corrupt NATO media and politicians, and the rest is history. KSA is the world’s biggest arms importer, meaning KSA wields more influence than anyone via the NATO military industrial complex that has for decades influenced the “news” and politicians. You can read about KSA’s perennial campaign financing public relations, publicity, think tanks, and even university departments in “How Saudi Arabia Captured Washington”
https://www.vox.com/2016/3/21/11275354/saudi-arabia-gulf-washington
Warning: Mortimer might dismiss vox as “leftarded”, but reality has a liberal bias. Vox reported where the money goes, and Bloomberg and Obama disclosed where it comes from (you!) You pay to protect KSA, and you pay to buy oil that they stole from the Shia who live near it, and they use the money to finance Petrodollar hypnosis and terror attacks against you. What a deal Nixon made for you!
curious says
P.S. Nixon’s motivation, aside from his usual duplicity and venality, was to expand his war in southeast Asia, which killed millions. As part of his deals, he sold American foreign policy to the Saudis, declaring Pakistan an “ally”. To see how that worked out, ask the family of Osama bin Laden, whom Pakistan hid from us while collecting “aid” (jizya) from us to help search for him:
https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v37/n10/seymour-m.-hersh/the-killing-of-osama-bin-laden
KSA and Pakistan thank you for paying (jizya) by financing lethal terrorism against you.
Also, if we had the oil and KSA had the guns, they would simply take whatever they want and kill anyone who gets in the way, just as they took the land near the oil from the Shia who lived there. Silly westerners insisted on paying them for it, so of course they took the money and used it to corrupt the west against itself. You can hardly blame them for following the perfect example of Mohammad, when it works so well for them. You should rather blame the western traitors who sold you out.

You Tube just folded to Islam’s ban on freedom of speech. One thing that Islamic followers can’t stand is to hear or read the truth about the violence and brutality of Islam and Muhammad. As with all forms of dictatorships freedom of speech is first to go, followed by destruction of books and cultural history of the people being taken over. Islam is no different it is a political dictatorship using “religion” as it’s claim to power and rule.

Would be great if this video could somehow get noticed by those engaged in the deliberations the Trump administration is currently having in relation to his recent executive order about social media platforms. He said they should have their legal liability protections removed because such protections are only justified for a neutral carrier. For example, a phone company is not legally liable for the content of conversations people have via the phone. Phone companies don’t try to control or edit the content of calls nor to impose an editorial viewpoint. So they are not legally liable for the content. But the social media platforms do impose an editorial viewpoint through all their algorithms and their various censoring committees, even though their shield against legal liability is premised on their not imposing an editorial viewpoint. Consequently, Trump proposes to remove their shield against legal liability, and he’s also alluding to seeking legislative measures above and beyond the executive order. Trump presented the executive order as part of a new, apparently substantial and serious initiative to politically and legally fight back against the pseudo-neutrality mask covering the social media companies’ left and “progressive” bias. Trump alluded without elaboration to “antitrust” possibilities as well. He seemed to be hinting that the social media companies might face antitrust suits for being near monopolies and might be broken up.

I was in an exchange with a Sikh friend of mine today and they were commemorating the martyrdom of one of the Sikh gurus. Knowing the history very well, I nevertheless asked him what caused his martyrdom?
He replied that the first four Mughals were tolerant to the SIkh gurus but a local Muslim got jealous of the growing popularity of the gurus and complained to Mughal emperor Jahangir. He offered the choice of conversion to Islam or death to the Sikh guru who refused and was put to death.
Then to my horror, my friend told me that he was watching a Netflix movie on Mohammed. According to my friend there was a difference between the teachings of the Quran and the Hadith. He seem to believe that the former was peaceful!
The point I’m trying to make is, agreeing to what has been said above, that very few people have bothered to read the Quran and see for themselves its bloodthirsty and exclusionary nature. The very first Sura of the Quran introduces the strong idea of ‘us’vs ‘them’ with them being the Jews and Christians.

Thanks, @gravenimage, we linked the same video 🙂
I agree the humor is dark, but it helped me cope with the shock and horror of seeing the raw Islamic State videos, e.g. via:
https://ent.siteintelgroup.com/
SITE Intelligence Group is one of the best I have ever found for this type of reporting. I have told several people they should really see these before saying they want to import Islam, but no one would listen. That left me feeling really frustrated, so I appreciated the cartoon that helped me laugh about it.
One of my favorite scenes is “the west is full of deplorables”, and I recognize two of the three characters. The middle one is Pat Condell, whom I love dearly and consider one of the smartest people in Britain (he’s originally Irish, became a British comedian). Stage right (our left) is Milo, AKA “your dangerous faggot”, fresh off his “dangerous faggot tour”, which did really well at colleges and universities, and then AntiFa rioted to disrupt his event at Berkeley, which is evidently no longer a free speech zone. I can’t identify the third, but wish I could.
I replied also to @Rufolino’s well intentioned comment, but the reply didn’t indent (maybe a scripting issue?), so it ended up farther below instead. The word “faggot” seems to be generational, I see it among Milo’s generation. I remember the effort to reclaim “queer,” which succeeded so well that it’s now part of official titles everywhere (the Q in LGBTQ). The point was, and is, to take away the power of words that used to hurt people. Want to call me a queer? So what, it’s what the Q on my shirt stands for. What else have you got? Oh, faggot, you mean like the Larry Kramer novel of the same title? People try to use words to cause pain, but if you reclaim the words, they don’t hurt anymore.
BTW, in the context of the current riots, I think Afro-Americans could have used a better strategy regarding a certain word that some say is OK for some people to say but not others. It’s just a word. Don’t let other people take command of your feelings or your life by saying a magic word. You can ignore them, or laugh; you don’t need to engage them at all, and certainly not on their terms. A whole cottage industry of outrage seems to have developed, using rare anecdotes to stoke anger and fear, creating exactly the tension that causes more of the same anecdotes, and then it spills over into death and destruction.
Much better to reclaim words so they lose the power to hurt you, no matter who says them or why.
gravenimage says
I was able to identify the same two you were, curious–I *should* know who the third “deplorable” is.
I love his barbed animations, even when I may not agree with him on every point–and he is spot on when it comes to the horrors of Islam and their foolish apologists.
And I know what you mean about “reclaiming” words.
Always good to read your posts.
