Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Twitter censors Trump, claiming he’s “glorifying violence,” keeps up Khamenei’s tweet calling for jihad violence

May 29, 2020 1:00 pm By Robert Spencer

Twitter did this after the President’s Executive Order calling for an end to politically motivated censorship on Twitter. And so the war is on. It is clear from Twitter’s leaving up Khamenei’s tweet calling for jihad violence that they’re not censoring Trump out of concern about violence, but because he is the largest voice dissenting from their agenda. Once he is silenced, it will be easy to silence everyone else. Who appointed Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, and Mark Zuckerberg, and the clowns at Google/YouTube and the Southern Poverty Law Center, as the guardians of acceptable opinion and permitted speech? This sinister far-Left oligarchy must be broken or free society and free inquiry will be a thing of the past.

“White House slams Twitter for censoring US President Donald Trump but refusing to take action against glorification of Jihad,” OpIndia, May 29, 2020:

Donald Trump has been involved in a raging battle against social media giant Twitter after the latter included a ‘fact-check’ on a tweet he had made regarding mail-in ballots. Following the incident, the US president signed an executive order withdrawing liability protections that Twitter enjoyed. The next move came from Twitter and it censored Donald Trump’s tweet for ‘glorifying violence’. And now, the POTUS has hit back at the blatant political partisanship exhibited by the social media platform.

This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, @Twitter has determined that it will allow terrorists, dictators, and foreign propagandists to abuse its platform. pic.twitter.com/5Qi0m66Vnh

— The White House (@WhiteHouse) May 29, 2020

The White House on Friday hit back at twitter for not taking any action against Ayatollah Khamenei for glorifying Jihad in Palestine but censored a tweet made by Donald Trump which, according to the US President, did not glorify violence. The White House said that the tweet by Khamenei “violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, @Twitter has determined that it will allow terrorists, dictators, and foreign propagandists to abuse its platform.”

Tweet by Donald Trump that was censored by Twitter…

The entire Silicon Valley should be nuked (figuratively, of course). Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. are complicit in “controlling” speech in one political direction (we all know which one) and that goes directly against First Amendment.

“But, but, muh private company can do what it wants….” Yeah, yeah, STFU! With almost all American citizens using them (as well as BILLIONS of people worldwide), social media platforms have become the new public square and should have their status as private companies revoked. Also, almost all Silicon Valley corporate giants were “boosted” using government funding during their inception phase, so the US government has a stake in them.

As a small government proponent (meaning the government should stick their nose in as few places as possible), it feels weird to promote it getting involved like this, but there’s no other way to stop these power-tripping leftists if the US is to remain a free society.

Twitter, youtube and facebook were licensed to be MARKETPLACES for ideas, rather than ‘EDITORS’ promoting a point of view.

They are breaking the rules of their contracts and behaving without restraint as ‘EDITORS’ promoting their own points of view.

Since youtube, twitter and facebook have broken their contracts, they should be heavily fined until their contracts are enforced. The fines must be punitive.

I don’t condone Twitter’s actions (and inactions) in any way but would appreciate Trump being a bit more diplomatic in his Tweets. He does it for emphasis, of course, to show anger and outrage but he could still be more measured in his remarks since they are capable of easily being misinterpreted with serious consequences.

He wrote the truth. We all knew the democrats were going to attempt to steal the election. And this is how they are doing it. Vote by mail and MSM. Social media is blocking the conservative messages. And now the presidents tweets are being labeled as lies. How many of us have been censored by the medias? Calif has over 10 million illegals and all they have to do to get to vote is apply for a drivers license. When i voted in 2016, my neighbors were ahead of me in line…they are both illegal. The President’s comments should NEVER be censored.
That being said this isn’t 1850 in Dodge City and looting isn’t a capital offence. Trump has acknowledged in his Tweet that “shooting” follows “looting” in a thinly veiled threat and has, by implication, approved it. Not a great idea.

        • Wellington says

          May 29, 2020 at 4:21 pm

When looting comes along with massive destruction and placing the ordinary citizen in significant danger, in addition to the very lives of firemen, there is no good reason why such looting should not be a capital offense. In such conditions, a “shoot to kill” order is justified and would actually result in less danger to human life as well as less damage.

          Wellington.
Trump blew it, plain and simple. I hate to see where this is going. His comments were very insensitive, divisive and stupid. Not Presidential at all. He had an opportunity and blew it.
And yet his comments shouldn’t be censored.

        • Wellington says

          May 29, 2020 at 5:20 pm

Trump didn’t blow it at all, Rarely. Twitter pretends to be a neutral platform and not a publisher. It is not a neutral platform; in fact to maintain that it is is risible, and it is indeed a publisher that should be liable to defamation suits, which truly neutral platforms should not be.

Even assuming Trump’s tweets were insensitive, blah, blah, blah, Twitter censoring Trump moves Twitter from being a neutral platform to a publisher. And, per this article by Robert Spencer, Twitter in the mean time didn’t censor a call for jihad violence by Buttlims.

This is a no-brainer and Trump knows this. I as a lawyer know this. Sadly, you seemingly don’t.

          Wellington.
How does being a lawyer change the dynamic? I agree that the Tweet should NOT have been censored. There are some views (such as calls to jihad violence) which I feel SHOULD be censored and the writers banned from the site but NEVER ban the POTUS regardless of what he posts.
I’ve been less concerned about Twitter and more about the content of the Tweet. I see it as potentially troublesome.
BTW Wellington you aren’t the only lawyer in this conversation.

    • Wellington says

      May 29, 2020 at 4:17 pm

You seem to miss, Rarely, that PRECISELY because Trump is not more diplomatic, not only in his tweets but all across the board, bespeaks in part to why he has gotten so much done. Examples abound, for instance calling out the rank bias of the MSM as fake news which it surely is, pulling out of the putrid Iran nuclear deal arranged by the worst President in American history, one Barrack Obama, pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, which is really about a transference of money from polities who have their act together to polities who are, indeed, the shit-hole countries Trump has referenced, never mind that NO scientific evidence exists for man-made climate change to this very day (N.B., computer model projections and correlation studies, which is all the man-made climate enthusiasts have going for them, are not only not scientific evidence but they have a notorious track record for accuracy), to, before Covid-19, getting rid of stupid executive orders by his Presidential predecessors (especially Obama) which resulted in the lowest black American unemployment rate in American history and a booming stock market, to achieving one-on-one talks with the control-freak dictator of North Korea by NOT being diplomatic but rather calling him “Little Rocket Man”—-and on and on and on.

But so many (like you) are concerned about Trump’s lack of diplomacy. My God, can’t you see that to get rid of the rot in the federal government and in the world at large, and there is a great deal of rot existent to be sure, being diplomatic would serve as just one more reason why nothing, effectively, would change?

Put another way, every once in a while you need a bull in a china shop (oh gee, is this racist?). Trump is such a bull and I for one am glad he is. In yet other terms, time for snowflakes upset by Trump’s “approach” to provide real counters to his measures. They never do and seem to seek a pity party on a regular basis and get “so upset” by Trump’s statements. Oh, the poor dears.

Enough already. Time for a beer.

        “Snowflake” ?? LOL
Your hero blew this one. It’ll take a lot of work to fix it.
“Diplomatic” was the wrong word for me to use. My point is simple. My Mother tried to teach me to “think before you speak”. It’s good advice I never really caught onto and should have.
The damage I can do is severely limited. Not so the POTUS. Quick little Tweets can so easily be misinterpreted and cause or seriously inflame an issue. Consequently he should chose his words more carefully and the platform he is using to get them out.
He had a further opportunity to clarify his position and try to defuse the riots at his press conference this afternoon and didn’t. In fact he allowed no questions whatsoever. Forget “diplomatic” but here he is adding to the problem and will have to do some serious backtracking.

        • Wellington says

          May 29, 2020 at 9:01 pm

What backtracking does Trump have to do? Could you be specific?

I suspect that you would have criticized both Andrew Jackson and Theodore Roosevelt for their modus operandi too.

I want a POTUS to be feared by the bad guys. Trump is and his modus operandi is part of the reason why. Here I suppose we will have to agree to disagree.

If Jack Dorsey silences someone who attacks the president savagely, then he has a right to apply the same standard to others.

But Jack Dorsey is seen to promote a DOUBLE STANDARD. His ‘pets’ can say whatever mean-spirited comments they want about conservatives.

  8. mortimer says

Agree with Rarely that Pres. Trump’s tone galvanizes people who then dislike him even more. Nevertheless, warning people not to break the law by looting and breaking windows isn’t wrong.

Rarely, I think the president is not talking to nice, polite, good, sensible, refined people like you. You don’t need to hear that you will shot if you loot, but the rough, rude rascals who are sociopathic will pay more attention to the president’s rough, rude comments, than to a diplomatically-worded pleas. To them polite pleas will sound weak and dithering.

When dealing with sociopaths, anything short of reading the riot act will fail to get their attention, imho.

Death to America Iran will be death to America Iran but Minneapolis is a democrat run city. Leftist (Democrat) action and inaction is stoking the fires of looting and violence. If the city was full of Trump supporters there wouldn’t be any looting or violence happening. The police and politicians have shown they are unable to control the problem. 15. A Gnostic Agnostic says

    May 30, 2020 at 3:58 pm

And after 1400 years, they still don’t realize Islam is the (real) root of Nazism/fascism/socialism?
Muhammadans pathologically (thus will always) BLAME JEWS for anything/everything they are themselves guilty of (same pathology as Muhammad), but ask yourselves this:

WHO are the (real) BOOK-WORSHIPING “JEWS” ?
Muhammadan = Jew (truth is stranger than fiction).

The Muhammadans scapegoat their own crimes against humanity onto “JEWS” including COVID-19, yet
the condition ‘THE ACCUSER IS THE ACCUSED’ is found *always* true in/of the (scapegoating) House of Islam (equivalent: House of Pig).

Consider a male central figure political/military warlord who:
    -amasses power via oration
    -weaponizes state against political adversaries
-expands militarily while signing (and breaking) peace treaties
-uses the power of the state to commit mass organized murder

Historically, who does this describe? ADOLPH HITLER,
or the (resolutely worshiped) idol of Islam, MUHAMMAD?

    Islam = Nazism

The ka’aba was RELOCATED *after* the death of their pedophile IDOL (from PETRA to MECCA)
The Qur’an is evolved out of Syriac (not Arabic) Christian (not Islamic) strophic hymns (not Revelations) and was spread/collected in/as pieces from the bloodied grounds of Arabia
due to WAR, WAR and more WAR, thus not from a god, or an angel, and
The Mo ham-and-cheese (dead pig) idol of Islam was resolutely an abusive sexually degenerated polygamous pedophile genocidal warlord whose “example” sets a global precedent for pig.

Hence their willingness to silence, suppress, slander, kill, kill and kill…
…they can not stand the (real) truth, because they can not stand their own (real) GUILT
and Muhammad was exactly the same: he killed anyone and everyone
who even hinted that he was/is an ABUSIVE MAN, hence Muhammadan men
religiously abuse, abuse and abuse others while pathologically scapegoating
their own actions onto others, because:

Muhammadans are unable to account for their OWN ACTIONS (a real mental illness),

and the same was/is true of ADAM who got kicked out of Eden for BLAMING
the women for his OWN ACTIONS (eating the fruit). Thus Muslims are truly
the “religion of Adam”: ejected from paradise for BLAMING THE WOMEN, and
the TRUTH is in plain sight: the hijab, the niqab, the burqa. The Muslim women
are literally wearing the original sin of abusive Muhammadan men, as rather than
a symbol of “modesty”, the hijab is the IMMODESTY of MUHAMMADAN MEN
as SCAPEGOATED (ie. BLAMED) on the women. Thus Muhammadan men
are the cancer of this planet: the day the Muhammadans are no longer able
to project/scapegoat their own crimes against humanity onto others
is the day the light of truth acting as the very hellfire that burns the Muhammadan
from the inside out: boiling their blood as if a teapot ready to whine and squeal
like the absolute pigs that they are (they scapegoat their own pig nature
onto Jews, too, always calling the Jews “pigs”… that is themselves).

The shahada is a necessarily false testimony contrary to the ten commandments:
thou shalt not bear a false witness against thy neighbor. It is not at all possible
to bear a TRUE witness of a DEAD MAN. It requires the construction of a
‘graven image’ in the psychology (ie. “heavens”) of the Muhammadan (another
violation of the ten commandments), as the shahada ‘marks’ the Muhammadan
to a state-sanctioned male central figure pig-idol of whom they have no living witness,
thus testimony, thus ” believe ” that dead pig is ‘akbar’.

The ten commandments are not only written
in a book: they are also written in stone,
and were/are for a reason the Muhammadans
certainly know not of, as they can’t even read
such to ever discover the reason. It requires
use of the higher organ, and Muhammadan men
have given up the higher organ in favor of
the lower one, hence their brain-dead nature
and profound sexual degeneracy, the nature
    of which they pathologically scapegoat/blame
on others, because they can not stand to witness
themselves: the real hypocrite book-worshiping “Jews”
who have no self control, no modesty or decency, only
a single (man-made) book and a single false testimony.
