Ukraine is not an Islamic state. Nevertheless, “Islam’s two most important festivals, Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, will become official state holidays in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on May 18, the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide.” This signifies Ukraine’s alliance with Islam against Russia.
Relations between Russia and Ukraine have been sour ever since Russia’s invasion of Crimea in 2014, and relations between nearby Turkey and Russia are tense.
Muslims in Ukraine and the Ukraine government have now formed a convenient alliance, further sealed by Turkey. Less than four months ago, Zelensky boasted that” relations between Ukraine and Turkey have significant potential for development and have already reached a new level.” Ukraine has been “struggling to put together a coherent strategy for resolving the military conflict with pro-Russian forces in the eastern region of the Donbas, which has already killed more than 13,000 people.” Amid Turkey’s “growing regional power,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is certain to be pleased with the new national holidays in Ukraine.
“Two Islamic festivals to become state holidays in Ukraine,” by Artur Korniienko, Kyiv Post, May 17, 2020:
Islam’s two most important festivals, Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, will become official state holidays in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on May 18, the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide.
“We want to build a state in which everyone feels like a citizen of Ukraine. I would like everyone to feel like a full-fledged citizen, not forgetting the history and traditions of one’s own people. We want to support you not only in words, but in actions, at the legislative level,” Zelensky told representatives…..

What is the problem with that?

They’re furthering an ISLAMIST agenda!

Looks as though Kazamaza is good with Infidels having to allow the holidays of those who want to force them to submit to Islam.

And so we see more political pandering to the religion of “peace”.
{Peace?WHERE?}
National holidays dedicated to the muslim ARAB god al lah who teaches that “Jews and Christians are the WORST of created beings” {koran 98:6},a god whose enemy is a MAN called the “King of kings”{Sahih Muslim vol 5 hadith #5611} a koran that CURSES Christians for believing in Jesus Christ {koran 9:30}a “prophet” who was a pederast, a terrorist{Sahih Bukhari 4:52:220} and a self-confessed liar{al Tabari 6:111}?
What?Did nobody tell the fools in Ukraine about the fatiha “prayers” the muslims say in their daily butt-in-air show of false piety, you know the ones that CURSE Christians?
Or that islam has a Doctrine of HATE {al walaa wal baraa} towards all non-muslims and a political aspect that subverts nations through lying and deceit{sanctioned by the ‘holy’ koran k3;28}?
Reap what you sow….a nation that makes such foolish mistakes must accept the consequences.Just wait and see what befalls your citizens.
Say,did the Ukrainians ever hear the story of the Trojan Horse…..?
mortimer says
Zelensky has no idea what Pandora’s box they are opening. Sharia drips steadily like acid on its victims until they are moribund. Next, there will be no freedom to criticize Islam in the Ukraine. Islam will slowly become supreme and Dhimmitude will be implemented.

Ukraine: Two Islamic holidays, Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, become national holidays
……………….
I didn’t expect this kind of dhimmitude from Ukraine. Muslims only make up about .9% of the population–although it is as high as 12% in the Crimea.
Does it matter that Eid al-Fitr specifically celebrates the first Muslim military triumph over Infidels? I doubt any of these appeasers understand that.
