The Qur’an contains numerous condemnations of homosexual activity: “And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, ‘Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.’…And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.” (Qur’an 7:80-84)
Muhammad specifies the punishment for this in a hadith: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.’” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)
Will gay rights advocates say a word about this? Of course not. It has long been established that in the hierarchy of politically correct causes, Islam trumps gay rights. When AFDI ran ads highlighting the mistreatment of gays in Islamic law, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors issued a resolution condemning not that mistreatment, but our ads. Gay advocates such as Theresa Sparks and Chris Stedman attacked us for daring to call attention to the institutionalized mistreatment of gays under Islamic law. It was that, or risk not being invited to the best parties.
“Rawdatul Majaalis condemns in ‘strongest terms’ protection of gay rights,” by Sheriff Janko, The Point, June 16, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Sheikh Cadi Abdoulie Kanteh, vice president of Rawdatul Majaalis has weighed in on the controversial gay marriage topic in The Gambia, calling on the Muslim Umah to rally against the “shameful practice” in the “strongest terms.”
Kanteh’s remark was in response to recent campaign by European Union and rights groups for the protection of gay rights in the country.
At a press confab held on Sunday at its Abu Sey secretariat, Kanteh made it clear that The Gambia is a deeply religious country.
He thus challenged all to condemn the shameful practice, citing the case of Prophet Loot whose people were cursed by Almighty God for their sins of gay marriage.
He added that Rawdatul Majaalis would continue its advocacy to see to it that the ugly practice, which is not even practised by dogs, is laid to rest.
Imam Kanteh indicated that if homosexuality is allowed to take root in the country, it would have a devastating impact on the citizens.
He made reference to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic currently sweeping the world as a testament of God’s curse on mankind.
“I think what we should be doing now amid coronavirus pandemic is to ask for God’s forgiveness and repent for our deeds” he added.
He emphasised that worst of it all is that while religious leaders including imams and scholars in the country are totally against this act, even there are few who publicly support the act”
Kanteh maintained that worst among men is one who prioritises his hearafter for wordly gains, and further called on authorities to have mercy and remorse for their subjects.
“We rather die in poverty than to allow protection of gay rights in the country for wordly gains. On behalf of the entire members of Rawdatul Majaalis, we hereby declare our condemnation in the ‘strongest term’ for the inclusion of the act in the new constitution”…

Exactly!! Why doesn’t any of the doo gooders comment on the injustice and views and consequences of being homosexual in Islam?? They’re never quiet about anything else!! I support anyone who is gay. That’s not the issue. But these leftest imbociles don’t call a spade a spade either?? Why?

Let me see if I got this right.
Sex with animals is ok.
Sex with underage girls is ok
Stoning women that’s all good.
Murdering unbelievers, that’s completely fine.
Sex with the same sex??? YOUR GOING TO HELL AND WE WILL LIVE LIKE ANIMALS BEFORE WE ALLOW THIS!
Does that sound about right?

Also, Muslims are generally fine with homosexual sex with under-aged boys or that is rape intended to humiliate. What they *really* hate is consensual same-sex relationships between consenting adults.
God, I hate Islam.

Are you praying or blaspheming !??? In that last sentence ? “gravenimage”.

Are you offended by my hating the savage horrors of Islam?

Sex with under-aged boys is common, as are “temporary marriages”. The little boys are called pearls of the desert. To be a Muslim is to be a hypocrite.

………….
Gay rights–or women’s rights, or the rights of children, or of non-Muslims, or apostates…
Rufolino says
For Islam any hatred and/or prejudice is useful. Islam feeds on hate. Without hate it would fizzle out.

This is the backward attitude of Islam. They would rather live in poverty, disease and ignorance. They don’t want modern learning (Boko Haram) and they don’t want anything later than the 7th century.
The only problem with that theory, is that Muslims vote with their feet and move to prosperous, educated, Western countries whenever they can. Once there, they rarely come back. They love the freedom.
Westman says
Except they send their girls back for a little FGM R&R. Keeping up appearances in the new land. And more than a few “refugees” were found taking trips back to the land of their former, “persecution”. The new patriots…
OLD GUY says
Sadly it’s not just gay rights that they are against, its most all human rights that they oppose. Islam can not survive in a community that has civil rights. Islam will not stand up to freedom of speech, truth and criticism about its teachings and practices. Islam only rule through the religious dictatorship using extreme violence and intimidation to control the masses.
These Gambia islamic leaders won’t die in poverty, but they will allow their followers to die for them at any cost.
Savvy Kafir says
If they prefer to die in poverty, I suggest they get on with it. If all Muslims made that choice, the world would be a much better, safer, and more sane place.
