The Iranian regime has turned the late #George_Floyd into Saint George, Shiite-style! #Beware_Foreign_Influence pic.twitter.com/ofTtW5J3px
— Dr. Reza Parchizadeh (@DrParchizadeh) June 1, 2020
This is entirely consistent with the other behavior of the Islamic regime in Iran. When it orders people to scream “Death to America” every Friday in mosques, the regime is making the destruction of America into a holy act. The murder of George Floyd touched off destructive riots and ongoing unrest in the United States — a manifestation of Allah’s judgment against the Great Satan. So of course George Floyd is a saint.

No, he was a Christian.

Like all Democrats, he was a Christian in name only.

I haven’t heard that George Floyd was a registered Democrat, or that he ever voted at all. Some Democrats are real Christians–but I take your point.

George Floyd was not much of a Christian. Not only was he involved in petty crime, but he once was involved in a home invasion where he held a gun to a pregnant woman’s belly.
He did not deserve to die, but his life was pretty ugly.

Given George Floyds behavior, I would add that he wasn’t much of a man either.
Attacking a pregnant woman, cowardly, sick, depraved, hmm, maybe his is Muslim.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Keith.
Wellington says
Seconding you again, gravenimage, in your agreement with keith O that Floyd was not much of a man.
And Floyd’s recent hagiography status reminds me of that line by Bogart to Lorre in Casablanca about the two terminated Germans, to wit, they got a lucky break because yesterday they were just two German couriers, now they’re the “honored dead.”
Ned Kelly says
When he was young, he did one home invasion, for which he did 5 years. I have yet to find any other crimes he did. he was a practicing Christian, + mentored young men, to improve their lives.

Really, there is no point in these silly conspiracy theories.

Seconded, gravenimage. Conspiracy theorists like Kristi function in their own little world (none more so thas the JFK assassination conspiracy people) and trying to refute them with such things as logic, facts and common sense is ordinarily a dead-end endeavor.

I didn’t know the man, but I dare say that EVERY Christian’s life was pretty ugly before we gave our lives to Christ. Agreed?

M. D. Thomas, sadly I don’t think that George Floyd’s Christianity ever really “took”. He was on drugs and passing counterfeit bills at the end.
Scholar says
He served time in prison, Anyone serving time in prison does not come out without converting to Islam. Most blacks under 40 are Islamic. Nation of Islam controls the prisons. He was a Christian the way the world in Little Red Riding Hood was grandma.
gravenimage says
Well, this is just absurd. Yes, conversion to Islam is disturbing rife in American prisons these days, but the idea that *everyone* who serves time in prisons is automatically Muslim is ridiculous.
He was not much of a Christian–but there is no reason to believe that Floyd was Muslim.
Wellington says
Seconded, gravenimage. The sweeping statement “Scholar” made is absurd on its face.
Westman says
Sorry, “scholar”, the Nation Of Islam is not considered to be a valid religion by mainstream Islam; more in status like the Baha’i.
If you actually were an Islamic scholar, you would know this.
Malcom X was murdered by the NOI because he went to Mecca and discovered that Elijah Mohammad’s teachings were corrupt, not true Islam, and also discovered said Elijah was spreading his DNA among the young sisters, fathering children. When he made this known he was marked for death. You can be certain that Farrakhan knew of it before it happened.

Exactly francis, who are you to judge?
I’m not in any church myself,dislike much of what constitutes organized religion and religious authorities but I agree with the Bible.I don’t see myself as a holy joe ,defining myself morally as never in any way superior to a prostitute..most likely I am a SURREAL christian{sort of like many atheists define themselves as ‘cultural christians’}
Gabriel says
I’m sorry, but “the pope” is the “false prophet” spoken of in the xtian’s bible, not the wanna-be prophet, child molester, thief, murderer and punk Mohammad. Mohammad was a punk, barely worthy of mention. The pope is better then him, which is part of the reason islamists in such huge numbers, love being “under” the “false prophet” they call pope. *shrug* New World Order,. which is a copy of Hitler’s, who islamists worship, world order or Reich.
gravenimage says
Gabriel, people have been accusing various individuals of being the Anti-Christ for over 2000 years now.
And the idea that Pope Francis is more influential than the “Prophet” Muhammed has been is a *very* odd claim.
Robert Porter says
Jack Kemp, give us a break. Floyd was not a Christian. Someone who is not a Jew or a Muslim, or Hindu, etc. is NOT automatically “a Christian”, they are a unbelieving heathen – like a lot of American or Western society today – or the are agnostic or atheist.
Canada, that long ago abandoned belief in God, is not a Christian nation. At best it is agnostic because, as a nation, Canadians don’t believe in anything much any more – other than material possessions that they worship.

This is just more cynical “Death to America!” posturing. In reality, Iranians are incredibly racist.
John says
No, islam is Racist, many Iranians have had enough of islam and want it gone , all evil in Iran comes from islam, as it does all over the World. Persians are the original Iranians, and islam entered in the 7th century to eventually take control in 1979. Before then, Iranian people lived , dressed. behaved as we do. Now islam has turned a beautiful culture into another islamic CESSPIT as it always does.

Templer says
I islam there are no saints In islam Floyd was a chirstain but hay santic Iran plays any card
Wellington says
Floyd was a failed human being and a thug, though he still most certainly did not deserve to die as he did, but what is most instructive here is that the despicable, theocratic Iranian regime, which has been in power since 1979 and has murdered untold thousands, or has effectively destroyed the lives of many while still not literally terminating them, all in the name of the sicko religion which is Islam, will do anything, say anything, depict anyone, laud anyone, etc. as a positive as long as denigration of America (or Israel) is involved.
Now, just consider this for theory’s sake: America runs the world or Iran runs the world. No other choices available. Clarity and what is ethical for all those who are not completely morally opaque has rarely been clearer respecting a choice than this hypothetical.
And yes, America is certainly far from perfect and full of wrongs but Iran by comparison….. Well, show me someone who would choose Iran over America here and I will show you a complete fool at best, an utterly malevolent human being at worst (those who compose BLM and Antifa come to mind).
And finally, I would add that the George Floyd encomiums have reached a maudlin level steeped in faux grief and which are really not at all about George Floyd but very much about pulling America down. This too should be obvious but for those, way too many of our species unfortunately, who are morally obtuse—or even worse.

The thing that has struck me about George Floyd’s death and what has followed it, has been the way that, in the services, funeral, etc, in the USA, he has almost seemed to be sainted there as well. Living in Australia, I hadn’t taken all that notice of things, except to think that it was appalling the way he was murdered. I think I had heard that he’d only stolen a tiny amount of money, so I thought that he was very petty criminal. Then a radio presenter here mentioned Floyd’s criminal record, including that vicious holding a gun to the pregnant woman’s belly, and I thought, well, this man was definitely a pretty nasty person. Of course, I still thought, well, he didn’t deserve to die the way he did. But, I did get the impression that ministers of religion, his family members, etc, were trying to portray Floyd as a wonderful person. I suppose that there is a tendency to talk well of the dead, but I thought they were totally ignoring his big flaws. From the comments here at Jihad Watch, it seems as if most people were aware of the vicious criminality of Floyd. AS for Iran, well Islam’s idea of what a saint is would be someone like Floyd. After all, Muhammad was a mass murderer and paedophile and, generally, a really low life human being, and that’s Islam’s idea of the perfect man, the chosen one of their idea of what god is, allah. Actually, compared to Muhammad, Floyd probably is a saint.

Proving again, gravenimage, that just about the bravest group of people in America are black conservatives.
It is a gutless choice in America to be a white liberal—no cost at all, no thought required either. To be a black liberal is simply expected of black Americans; per Joe Biden, if you aren’t voting for him and you’re black then you ain’t black—how enormously condescending by the man in his basement in Delaware who can’t put even three coherent sentences together, and who in almost half a century (since 1972) of being a professional politician has done virtually nothing to make America a better country.
And to be a white conservative, as I am, is often difficult but in no way does it match what black conservatives like Candace Owens have to endure.
Political correctness is a terrible phenomenon and no group of Americans have to put up with more bullshit because of this than black conservatives. It’s McCarthyism in reverse (and at least McCarthy was correct on the substance though not the method; modern day Leftists are correct neither on the substance nor the method).
Additionally, it is profoundly and bitterly ironic that the Republican Party is identified by the MSM and silly academia with being racist. The Republican Party was born, as I know you know, in the 1850’s because it opposed slavery in the territories while the Democratic Party endorsed this very possibility (e.g., the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854).
The Democratic Party was also the party of the Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow. A greater percentage of Republicans in Congress voted for the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Democrats, as well as being a century before the initiators of the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution which eliminated, respectively, slavery, non-equality under the law, and disfranchisement of blacks—all three of which Democrats en masse opposed at the time. One of the greatest farces in American history, if not the greatest farce, is the continued support by a vast majority of black Americans for the Democratic Party, which over the past half century has substituted the antebellum plantation master with itself and has done virtually nothing for inner-city blacks, including denying them school choice all the while affluent Democrats, including black Democrats like the Obamas, send their own children to private schools.
To so many non-Americans, I do wish you would get this (the eternally clueless Leftists of course will not). It is understandable that non-Americans don’t because so many details of a country’s life is only known by its own citizens—but I am providing here nevertheless a MOST IMPORTANT detail for all non-Americans to grasp.
Republicans want black Americans to stand tall and be employed. Democrats want black Americans on the Democratic plantation and on food stamps—just an update in disguise to blacks being on the old white plantation and hoping for sustenance from the master.
How I wish all Americans, blacks and all other Americans, would grasp this. If done, it would create a far better America for black Americans and all Americans in a decade than a thousand years of condescending Democratic polices would for black Americans—and with highly deleterious results to be sure. Again, it is difficult not to conclude we live in a phony and stupid world.
Bezelel says
according to Joe Biden, Candace must not be black. I remember Condoleezza Rice having to tell someone that she’s been black her whole life.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Wellington. And I should have mentioned that you were the one who drew my attention to that video by Candace Owens.
And Bezelel, you are right that Biden said that anyone who doesn’t vote for him “ain’t black”–what gall.
John says
Since its founding in the late 1820s, the Democratic Party has defended slavery, started the Civil War and opposed Reconstruction. The Democratic Party imposed segregation. Its members engaged in the lynchings of blacks and opposed the civil rights acts of the 1950s and ’60s. During Reconstruction, hundreds of black men were elected to Southern state legislatures as Republicans, and 22 black Republicans served in the U.S. Congress by 1900. The Democratic Party did not elect a black man to Congress until 1935.
President Woodrow Wilson was a Progressive Democrat and an avowed racist who shared many views with the Ku Klux Klan. He resegregated the federal civil service. He screened the racist film “The Birth of a Nation,” originally titled “The Clansman,” at the White House; it was the very first movie ever played at the White House.
What was the party of Orval Faubus, the Arkansas governor who blocked the desegregation of Little Rock schools and defied the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision? What was the party of Theophilus Eugene Connor, known as Bull Connor, who, as city commissioner, set vicious dogs, fire hoses and billy clubs on black civil rights demonstrators in Birmingham, Alabama? Connor said: “You can never whip these birds if you don’t keep you and them separate. I found that out in Birmingham. You’ve got to keep your white and black separate.” If you answered that Faubus and Connor were Democrats, go to the head of the class. By the way, it was Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower who sent troops to ensure that black students could attend Little Rock’s Central High School.
What was the political party of Alabama Gov. George Wallace, who, during the 1960s civil rights movement, declared that he stood for “segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation forever” and blocked black students from entering the University of Alabama?
A few years later, the only serious congressional opposition to the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 came from Democrats. Eighty percent of Republicans in the House of Representatives supported the bill. Less than 70 percent of Democrats did. Democratic senators, led by ex-Klansman Robert Byrd’s 14-hour filibuster, kept the bill tied up for 75 days, until Republicans mustered enough votes to break the filibuster.
Labor unions have always been allied with the Democratic Party and have a history of racism. Most of today’s black leaders give unquestioned support to labor unions and their policies that harm black workers, but yesteryear’s black leaders saw things differently. Frederick Douglass, in his 1874 essay “The Folly, Tyranny, and Wickedness of Labor Unions,” argued that unions were not friends of blacks. W.E.B. Du Bois called unions “the greatest enemy of the black working man.” Booker T. Washington also opposed unions because of their adverse impact on blacks.
Today, Democrats use diplomacy to hoodwink blacks. They tell blacks to be against those — such as Education Secretary Betsy DeVos — who are for school vouchers that enable black parents to get their children out of rotten schools run by Democrats at the National Education Association. Democrats are using black congressmen to go after Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who is a high-profile conservative, champion of law and order, and supporter of President Donald Trump’s. They view Clarke as a threat to Democratic Party interests. Indeed, if Democrats lost just 25 percent of the black vote, they would be in deep political trouble.
James Lincoln says
Wellington
Excellent post, my compliments.
But I think you’re being a little too generous regarding “Sleepy” Joe.
I’ve seen him having a hard time putting even TWO coherent sentences together…
Wellington says
Good post, John. Just one slight correction. The Democratic Party was not founded in the late 1820’s. All that occurred at that time was a name change. This party started out as the party of Thomas Jefferson which opposed the party that rallied around Alexander Hamilton, the former wanted less federal government and the latter wanted more (how ironic since now it is the opposite respecting left and right parties). The Hamiltonians called themselves the Federalist Party and by 1820 it was effectively no more—gone.
But Jefferson’s party lasted and was at first called (another irony) the Republican Party, then the Democratic-Republican Party and by the late 1820’s simply the Democratic Party. But it is still the same party founded in the 1790’s (though it is ever increasingly morphing into a Far Left party). The Republican Party of today came later, born in the 1850’s because of the Kansas-Nebraska Act (1854), which did away with the Missouri Compromise Line (36 degrees, 30 minutes) and thus allowed slavery extension north of that line which the Missouri Compromise of 1820 had disallowed. The Republican Party was initially called the anti-Nebraska Party but within a very short time, actually just months, it started to be called the Republican Party, which is its name unto today.
And, as you stated and gave many examples, the Democratic Party was tied up with promoting many anti-black actions and policies. One of the great ironies of American history is that a very large percentage of black Americans are registered as Democrats, though originally blacks were registered as Republicans because the Republican Party was the party of Lincoln, the party against slavery, the party that freed the slaves, the party that insured the three Reconstruction amendments became part of the Constitution and the party that passed the first Civil Rights Act, that of 1866. I have zero doubt that black Americans would serve themselves quite well (and the entire nation) were they to come back to the Republican Party which is where their best interests lie, as your apposite post indicated.

From his autopsy, Floyd had an enlarged heart, 5 major arteries were blocked between 70 to 90%, he had enough Fentanyl in his system to kill a normal sized human, and Speed and THC were also found. So, if the Police knew of his criminal history with guns, maybe that is why they did not believe him as what happened here in Australia a few days ago when two police officers relaxed their hold on a crim they were arresting as he said he could not breathe and this crim attacked them again and punched a female officer and took out hair from her scalp , added to his grave medical condition and the drugs in his system, he was already living on borrowed time . Nothing more than a Seriously Violent Drug Addicted Thug was mr floyd. No PC here ,just Reality.

Thanks for the comments. It certainly would take some courage to go against the flow and I guess that being a conservative black in the USA would put that person in a minority. I suspect that their families and friends might give them a hard time. That “Outsiders” TV program out here on the Sky TV news network interviewed a young conservative black woman from the USA last Sunday morning. I often do write down the names of the people I have never heard of, but, unfortunately, I didn’t write her name down. It was a pretty unusual and exotic sounding name. They showed her in a shouting match with people in a crowd (or a mob) and then interviewed her. I am amazed at the courage of some people, especially when you see them taking on a mob, it’s courage I don’t have. I remember her making the point in the interview that the USA is a good country that gives most people a pretty good life and that she disagreed with the mobs rampaging around at the moment.. They also interviewed a young black man, I’m pretty sure he had the very straightforward name, Rick Smith, who was appalled at how black neighbourhoods were being trashed by the mostly black mobs. People do need to have a thick skin these days to stand up against the foul mouthed and very threatening left wing fascists on the social media. I know that the conservative commentators out here have been attacked pretty viciously (only verbally so far) for daring to step outside the leftie PC line, because they sometimes mention the attacks, and I’m pretty sure that Andrew Bolt, a conservative commentator and a fearless man, and his family had to move out of their home for a while because of threats from Muslims some years ago. That’s a very common story when it comes to people who criticise Islam. If “Outsiders” interview that American black woman again, I’ll make sure I write her name down and let people here at Jihad Watch know what it is. As I mentioned up above, in evil Islam’s upside down morality, a fairly nasty man like Floyd fits right in with their sick idea of what a saintly person is.
Bezelel says
I had a problem with the cop kneeling on Floyd’s neck since he was already cuffed and laying down, Why did he feel the need to do anything else? I would think he was risking causing paralysis at the least. That being said, doesn’t make Floyd a saint or a martyr and his death doesn’t justify the riots deaths and injuries of innocent people and destroying property, blocking traffic, taking over towns and the cops standing down, The mobs want a lynching and that wouldn’t even satisfy them. Allowing this behavior will only allow it to progress. To the religion of Antifa Floyd is just an excuse to riot. The saints are the grievously affected citizens who have patiently held their fire in the face of this.

Your looting, and arson, ruined the ability for black families to safely shop, let alone to purchase whatever food wasn’t destroyed by looters, and arson, for their families, and to re-open their burned-down businesses. There won’t be any “Grand Re-openings” for all those riot destroyed, family owned, businesses. They’re gone. All gone.
Especially after many family owned businesses were already suffering severe financial losses due to being forced to close-down for the quarantine. If “black lives matter” then black family owned businesses, and the ability for black families to safely shop, and earn money from their businesses, to pay their bills, should take front’-n’-center on that.
It hasn’t.
Instead, all we’re given is the empty hand of “take-a-knee” sloganeering, protest-signs, and virtue signaling martyrs, buried in a gold-coffin, in an 1830’s Cinderella style funeral procession, forced on the world, and that doesn’t pay the bills, add to that, being subject to “black lives matter” having the nerve to ask for donations.
