Just another day for Christians in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Nothing to see here: no “Islamophobia” was committed, so all is well.
The cross is an affront to Islam. The Qur’an claims that Jesus was not crucified, although in somewhat equivocal language for what is supposed to be the perfect word of an omniscient god:
“And their saying, ‘Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.’ And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but another was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.” (4:157)
And a hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts).” (Bukhari 46.37.2476)
This means he will destroy Christianity (break the cross), force the Christians to obey the Islamic food laws (kill the pigs) and end the second-class dhimmi status (abolish the jizya) that Islamic law specifies for Christians, such that they will either have to convert to Islam or be killed.
“Armed gang attack church in Pakistan leaving Christians ‘terrified’ – Cross ripped down,” by Laura O’Callaghan, Express, June 14, 2020:
CHRISTIANS in a small town in eastern Pakistan have been left “terrified” after an armed gang attacked their church, tearing down a cross and knocking over a wall.
Neighbours of Trinity Pentecostal Church in Kala Shah Kaku in Punjab province were alerted by the sound of commotion at around midnight and quickly rushed to the scene. They found a group of radical Muslim men, some of whom were locally-known gang members, armed with guns, according to reports. It is believed the mob shouted hate speech at the Christians and threatened to shoot them and set the church on fire.
By the time police arrived on the scene the culprits had fled.
Witnesses, none of whom were injured, believe the incident was an attempted land-grab….
Volunteer Hannah Chowdhry told Express.co.uk: “There were two mafia gang members who brought five or six other men with them with guns and pistols.
“They broke down the outer wall of the church. There was a cemented cross as well that they broke down and threw on the floor and they tried to break into the church.
“This happens on a regular basis and we just have to make people aware of what is happening around the world….
Pastor Samuel Hidayat recalled the phone call he received from witnesses.
He said: “From the descriptions provided to me by local people the situation was very dangerous and I feared there would be bloodshed so I called the police immediately.
“It was clear these would-be property usurpers were not willing to negotiate or leave our church any other way.”
The community suspect the gang took advantage of the coronavirus lockdown to attempt to break into the church in a bid to illegally wrestle the property from its rightful owners….

As per the Ulemas in Pakistan, Christians doesn’t have any right to groom & settle their own community women as Sharia instructs non Muslims to bear Roja. If you pay attention, the problem is same in every parts of the world where Islamists are present. Good Luck!
Chistopher Watson says
If the Pakistanis really believed in their god they would leave all Christian countries. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!

No they wouldn’t, Christopher. Islam preaches the invasion and destruction of Infidel lands.

Christian evangelism should follow the Matthew 10 example, preach the gospel if accepted or leave the area if not accepted, and let God deal with them. This would include local believers too.

Tom, I am all for freedom of speech. But Christians are already being murderously persecuted in Pakistan–this would probably lead to Muslim genocide against them.

This is what you get with Islam, pure evil.

As in the days of Nehemiah when he and his men were busy in the reconstruction of the walls around Jerusalem and the Arab became furious and indigent at this at this grand project of the rebuilding of the walls. Neh 4:1 and they thus despised the Jews , Neh. 4:4 ,and schemed terrorist attacks against them.
So the Jewish men set up watch for such attacks, Neh 4:8, therefore ,on this watch they set up guards to be ready for those terrorists attacks , Neh 4;16.
Likewise, in this twenty –first century in areas of the world, as the Middle East and Indonesia, Christians need to be “on watch and stand firm” First Corinthians 16:13.,as to be on guard from jihad-minded Muslim terrorist attacks against Christians .
For Christians together compose the symbolic body of Christ, Ephesians 1:13. 5:30.
Furthermore, it should be made known that the Muslim terrorists who engage in the persecution of Christians will not get away from the punishment of God for their wicked actions. As seen in Romans 14: 12. First Corinthians 3: 16, 17. Galatians 6:7.

Pakistan: Armed Muslim gang attacks church, tears down a cross, leaves Christians “terrified”
………….
And there will be no penalty for this savagery from Muslims in Pakistan.
All surviving Christians in Pakistan–and Hindus, and Sikhs–should take India up on their offer of citizenship there.

Let’s say the Christian community gets fed up and decides to rebuild their church and maintain a guard against the Muslim mob. Those are reasonable things to do, I would think. Unfortunately, the news agencies will report the Christian mob against those harmless Muslims but not the other way around.
And this is why Christianity ends up looking like the bad guy for trying to live in peace. I’m done hoping that an afterlife will correct these injustices. There aren’t many options to deal with this. Defensive measures alone are extremely difficult and martyrdom seems to be ignored. There may be a religious war brewing. I hope that this time it is documented fully as to why and how it started.

Gork, *all* non-Muslims in Pakistan make up under 3.5% of the population, and they are being persecuted and murdered..
There is a time to take a stand, and a time to cut your losses. There is no future for Christians or any other Infidels in Pakistan. They would do well to take India up on her offer of citizenship and get out while they still can.

WOW the islamic mob must have had a moment of peace and love, they didn’t kill anyone. These Christians need to have help from the rest of the Christian world to protect them from this type of terrorism. When there is no response against islamic violence it will continue and increase as they feel more powerful. This is a religious war no question about it, islam wants to rule the world through a “religious” dictatorship and are using migration as a means to invade western society.
