Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

After Demonizing All Who Opposed Jihad Terror, Catholic Mag Wonders Why No One Speaks Out Against It

Jul 9, 2020 5:00 pm By Robert Spencer

My latest in PJ Media:

Last Thursday, the Jesuit periodical America sounded a dark note: “Are Nigeria’s Christians the target of a genocide? That is the conclusion of a number of religious freedom analysts and Nigerian clergy.” Yet the venerable Leftist Catholic magazine’s warning was veritably dripping with irony, for the same publication has for quite some time been vilifying and smearing people who did speak out against the persecution of Christians in Nigeria and elsewhere.

America reported that “Boko Haram Islamic militants have for years raged against minority Christian communities in northern Nigeria, and their intention to drive out ‘Western’ influences and establish an Islamic state in northern Nigeria seems clear. But increasingly brutal attacks on Christian villages in Nigeria’s central ‘middle belt’ region have been attributed to Fulani cattle herders and have been explained as the result of conflict over diminishing resources.” America even found that “Christians are being explicitly targeted in the ongoing violence.”

America quoted the Most Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Nigerian Catholic Diocese of Sokoto saying: “I would like to hear much much more from prominent archbishops in the United States and Europe.”

Yeah, that would be swell. But why aren’t these “prominent archbishops” saying anything about the persecution of Christians? A good clue comes from America magazine itself. While now, America has discovered that “Boko Haram Islamic militants have for years raged against minority Christian communities in northern Nigeria,” and that their fellow Muslim Fulani cattle herders have also carried out “increasingly brutal attacks on Christian villages,” in 2018, it was worried about “so-called experts seeking to spread misinformation and fear” about Islam.

This “misinformation and fear” had to do with not accepting the Catholic Church’s new de facto superdogma that Islam is a religion of peace, and the “so-called experts” included me. Heedless of the fact that I had left the Catholic Church a considerable time before 2018, America claimed that year that I was producing “misinformed and ill-intentioned content on Islam, for Catholic audiences in particular.” Some of this alleged “misinformation” was apparently the idea that “Muslims’ faith tradition is responsible for violence.”

There is much more. Read the rest here.

The “Kiss of death” …how fitting for the two of them. Both these **religious** creeps are leading others down the dark road to destruction. The pope guy has not been any encouragement for anyone wishing to tell the truth…he lies and expeccts those in his power to do the same.

The mainstream Churches have totally lost touch with reality. The persecution of Christian in Muslim majority countries has almost reached the point that there will be no Christian presence whatsoever anywhere in the Middle East, outside of Israel. There will be no Christian presence anywhere in most of those areas where Christianity began, and which were once almost entirely Christian. For instance, I understand that Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, is now 70-80% Muslim, and has a Muslim mayor. So thanks Jimmah Cahtar, and your ‘Camp David Accords’. So it’s hardly surprising that the numbers of Christians in most of the mainstream Churches in the West are in free fall, while the Christian Churches are growing in Africa. But what did Christians Church leaders in the West expect would happen, when they started babbling incoherently at their multi-Faith gatherings about the ‘different paths to the one God’ while their brothers and sisters in Christ in Muslim dominated countries are exterminated?

Over the past 60 years or so, since television came along, Western leaders began to think of themselves as being actors on a stage. Bill Clinton was the most obvious to me. I could almost see it on his face that he was always thinking, “Look at me. I’m President of the United States.” And he had to act out the part as he thought in his mind the role should be played. This Pope gives me that same impression. He has in his mind what he’s supposed to appear to be when he’s before the public but it’s all just an act. He isn’t really what he appears to be. It’s all some kind of fantasy to these people who are just strutting and fretting upon the world stage until the curtain comes down.

CES, you are saying the pope is a shallow man. I think he is sincerely wrong because he can’t observe what he is seeing. He processes everything through his leftist goggles which distort reality. When asked to identify two fingers that are held up, he says, ‘Four’, because that is the politically correct answer.

Had the Swiss Guard owned F-35s, Stealth Bombers or Cruise missiles, this picture would not have existed. What is scary though is the fact that our own government, with all the abundance of great minds in the form of Islamic scholars who advise it, have no clue how to deal with the evil of sharia.
No wonder, the same enlightened scholars who continue to study Islam every day, still have no idea how sharia functions much less to claim they possess the knowhow to deconstruct it !?
It is no surprise we are caught in 2 wars with no end!?
….let’s blame the Pope for our own failures.

The Pope is not interested in deconstructing Islam. He wants to make the world a more welcoming place for it to thrive … at the expense of his own religion. No greater love hath any man than he that lays down the lives of those he loves for those who despise him.

CES is spot on: the pope wants to make the world a more welcoming place for Islam to thrive. He’s an ’emotional thinker’. I don’t understand how the Jesuits ever accepted him. He cannot think rationally as a Jesuit is supposed to.

Although not a roman catholic myself, but rather protestant- church of Scotland- I cannot fathom that the most powerful father in the CC cannot say any truths or even to highlight the evils persecuted on christianity throughout the world. When Jeremy Corbyn the jihadist lover & anti british cretin, was running for prime minister, well on a rally route to glasgow a local minister spoke to him from the crowd and said ‘ I thought it would be a jihadi scarf you would be wearing not a tartan one’ ..we can’t have a terrorist sympathiser as the prime minister of this country! and he went on to say – who will be the first terrorist invited to downing street? Now the result was Reverend Richard Cameron losing his ministry within the church. This is freedom of speech. My point being any person in my country Scotland, cannot criticise a man such as Jeremy Corbyn without being labelled Islamophobic, yet we are a tiny country with less power than rome. I can’t understand the holy father’s stance on the inability to call a spade a spade . Truth is in the bible , part of christianity. I really wasn’t aware of how big this problem was . Although I dislike a couple of things about donald trump, generally I love the guy.. he seems to be the only guy in a powerful position with the backbone to call this stuff out. He reminds me of Margaret Thatcher . Was marmite. But by god that woman had bigger balls than any man in Westminster. I sincerely hope &pray trump remains as I fear the more I learn about the evils of Islam, the religion of peace. The amount of women and men raped by them in my country is unbelievable and played down as they are asylum seekers. It’s sickening ! Thanks for all your comments & thank God for robert Spencer. I enjoy learning from people like yourselves. Luv&peace from Glasgow, a once great city , now overrun with asylum seekers damaging our society

The current Pope has appease Islam ,calling it a religion of peace ,he has called and supported for the importation of millions of ” Moslem refugees” most that are military age men to invade Europe .As Islam has created mayhem in war torn countries in the Middle East ,Africa and Asia he has remained silent .He is more worry about global warming ,raising in nationalism in the western world , SJW causes, pushing communist causes then in defending Christians in third world countries under the threat of Jihad terrorism .Now he comes out of his slumber because it is starting to hit the MSM and he has to do damage control for his inactivity over the last 6 years. Many western leaders have failed the Pope is among them who have appeased Islam with no reduction in violent Jihad against the “unbelievers of Islam”.

There are only a handful of few international Christian church leaders who are noticing this Islamic assault against non-Islamic people being waged by those of so-called peaceful religion of Islam. The nature and ultimate purpose of Islam is quite simple and plain to see and witness if Church leaders read Islam’s the most holy book, various hadiths and the history of Islam. It is not a complex problem which needs a lot of explanation. The more non-Islamic world is ignorant of Islam, the quicker it will be subjugated under Islam because nowadays it is using a lot of deceptive front organizations and methods to deceive and destruct non-Muslim disbelievers.

Leading Christian clergy should be on the phone to their leading national politicians to demand action to stop the ongoing 25-year-old genocide in Nigeria.

Previous to the last 25 years, there were the genocidal attacks on Christians in Nigeria that led to the secession of Biafra from Nigeria between 1967 and 1970.
