Other news about Canada under Trudeau:
- “Canada has seen a surge in asylum applications in recent years, reporting 50,000 requests in 2017, 55,000 in 2018, and 64,000 in 2019,” totaling 169,000.
“While Canada has taken in tens of thousands of Syrian migrants following the migrant crisis of 2015, the country has also had a major issue with migrants crossing the border illegally from the United States, primarily Haitians who have had their asylum status revoked in the USA.” - The resettlement of 46,700 refugees in 2016 marked “a record for Canada since 1978, when the Immigration Act came into effect,” and the top five countries of origin of the refugees were Syria, Eritrea, Iraq, Congo and Afghanistan.
- The year before, “the Liberal government’s pledge to take in 25,000 Syrian refugees in 2015 – and thousands more since” became one of Canada’s largest resettlement efforts.
- By 2017, it emerged that over “15,000 foreign nationals are on Canada’s deportation list….The removal list includes rejected refugee claimants and those deemed inadmissible because of criminal background, potential threat to public health or safety, or risk to national security.”
- Various countries have an international reputation for drug cartels and/or jihad terrorists; still, it was not revealed which countries these individuals listed for deportation came from. This was because people such as “Aris Daghighian, an immigration lawyer and executive member of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, called it ‘frankly offensive’ to name specific countries because it would stigmatize all members of that population.”
- Illegal refugees flowed in from the U.S. through the notorious Roxham Road in Quebec. Following Trump’s Executive Order to temporarily ban travelers from seven countries of concern, most of which were Muslim, Trudeau immediately tweeted out a welcome to refugees: “To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada.” This was taken as a free-for-all invitation. Then there was a second tweet which “included a 2015 photo of Trudeau welcoming a Syrian refugee at a Canadian airport.” By now the message was clear. A couple months later, the New York Times ran an article entitled Losing Hope in U.S., Migrants Make Icy Crossing to Canada. The article featured a man from Somalia, Bashir Yussuf, who made a long trek to Canada, along with “19 other Africans had emerged on the Canadian side of the border.”
- Between 2017 and 2019, roughly 40,000 more illegals had swarmed into Canada through Roxham Road. Although the largest concentration of illegals were Haitians, by 2019, the largest concentration was reportedly from Nigeria, while Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Yemen were in the top 12 countries of origin. Illegals from around the world were responding to the big welcome from the globalist Prime Minister, who also threw out a welcome mat to returning Islamic State fighters.
- Canada’s intelligence agency CSIS admitted that dozens of known jihadis are walking free, and authorities won’t charge them; leaked intelligence documents showed a much greater threat of Islamic terror than government admits.
Now comes the news that “the Canadian government has admitted that it has lost track of two-thirds of the 50,000 migrants targeted for deportation orders, most of them failed asylum seekers.”
And the Trudeau government continues to show no interest in national security.
“Canada Loses Track of 35,000 Migrants Set For Deportation,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, July 10, 2020:
The Canadian government has admitted that it has lost track of two-thirds of the 50,000 migrants targeted for deportation orders, most of them failed asylum seekers.
The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has lost track of 34,700 migrants, mainly failed asylum seekers, up for deportation, a report from the Office of the Auditor General of Canada revealed this week.
“The accumulation of enforceable removal orders is an ongoing problem within the Canada Border Services Agency,” the report stated. It added: “Most of the measures have been enforceable for many years and have involved, among others, criminals and failed asylum seekers.”
The report slammed the CBSA for having “poor quality” data and lamented “basic weaknesses in case management, which led to avoidable delays in the treatment of thousands of cases”.
According to Le Figaro, Canada has seen a surge in asylum applications in recent years, reporting 50,000 requests in 2017, 55,000 in 2018, and 64,000 in 2019….

We were in Toronto two years ago … and did not recognize the area East of downtown from how nice it was maybe 20 years ago. All I can say is that you make your bed, you sleep in it. Won’t be back anytime soon!

Yes, quite a lot of Syrian refugees were from Nigeria.

Good point, Michael.

Oops, what did we lose? I didn’t realize how out of control Canada’s immigration is!
Haroldp says
Why should we be so surprised? They can’t keep track of their spending so why would they be able to keep track of illegal refugees? Future Liberal voters no doubt.

Marvelous. Hey, Canada, just put RCMP’s “Inspector Fenwick” and “Dudley Do-Right” on the case; betcha THEY could locate them. Oh, wait… Maybe Snidely Whiplash has them squirreled away.
Colin says
Does that really surprise anyone? Total incompetence by the police, stupid liberal government and all involved.
You lot want to be held accountable like Trudeau and WE, totally unacceptable I am disgusted.

Canuckistan will soon be for the Muslim supremacists.
Michael Garant says
Already is canuckistan……we have more muslim ministers than their proportion in the population, thanks to numbnuts peewee trudo. On top of having the dumbmest prime minister in the world, we have the greatest chance of all, our immigration minister is muslim that explains a lot……peewee’s foreign affairs advisor is saudi, that also explains a lot. But see, canadians are no different than other people as they essentially vote against their interests….guess it’s human nature to be dumb. And canadians are particullarely adept at that having given peewee 2 mandates in a row……and having forgotten what his traitor father had done to us before..

Third worlding first world countries. This is way past the oops stage. Western leaders are so bad they will destroy us all. These western leaders are psychopathic. Eventually their imports will get them or the native people will get them. Where do these leaders think they will go when that time comes? Hated and despised by all they should start looking for a desert isle to migrate to while there is still time.
Nuking their own countries would have been a quicker and less painless way to go. I hope the civilized people of the future hunt them to the ends of the Earth. They should never have a peaceful day as long as they live.

Many Canadian people think that all Muslim migrants are peaceful, as well.

Canada loses track of 35,000 migrants who were set for deportation
…………………..
Suicidal insanity. As soon as someone is set for deportation they should be taken into custody.
And would that this is just happening in Canada:

Sadly, it may come to that. At least along the eastern areas not already protected by the Great Lakes.
Or possibly we just annex Canada and Mexico, as territories so the Stupidity can’t vote in our national elections, and reduce the exposed surface area to the narrow neck of Central America. (I hear the sentiment in Alberta is leaning that way, thanks to all the new liberalism they stupidly voted in.) I always say we were damn fools not to annex Mexico after we gave them a sound drubbing during the Mexican-American War…
keith j says
The media says 35,000. Now you know that figure cannot be trusted.
Reziac says
Lost track, or burned the records? considering that Canada’s minister of immigration (whatever it’s properly called) was, last I heard, a Muslim immigrant, d’ya think there might be something more going on than mere carelessness?
And when I was a kid, you could go back and forth between the U.S. and Canada with just a smile and a wave for the token border guard (who only worked the day shift). I was deeply offended when I first heard we would have newly imposed controls along the Canadian border. Now, those controls seem prescient.

I did a little info digging and learned that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been friends with Prince Karim Aga Khan for many years. The Prince invited Trudeau and his family to his private island in the Bahamas, Bell’s Cay aka Bell’s Island in Dec. 2016. Trudeau and family made the visit. The Prince is the spiritual leader of 15 million Ismaili Shia Muslims and runs a foundation related to education that accepts government money from Canada. Would it be correct to conclude that Trudeau has a weak spot for Islam?
