Justice and equality in the Qur’an:
“Say, ‘O People of the Book, do you resent us except that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?’ Say, ‘Shall I inform you of worse than that as penalty from Allah ? Those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way.” (Qur’an 5:59-60)
“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers to be the Jews and those who associate others with Allah…” (Qur’an 5:82)
“And even if We had sent down to them the angels and the dead spoke to them and We gathered together every thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them are ignorant.” (Qur’an 6:111)
“And if We had willed, we could have elevated him thereby, but he adhered to the earth and followed his own desire. So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs.” (Qur’an 7:176)
“And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.” (Qur’an 7:179)
“Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not believe.” (Qur’an 8:55)
“O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be ruthless upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.” (Qur’an 9:73)
“Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to with incitement?” (Qur’an 19:83)
“If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little. Accursed wherever they are found, seized and massacred completely.” (Qur’an 33:60-61)
“But if they turn away, then say, ‘I have warned you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt that struck ‘Aad and Thamud when the messengers had come to them before them and after them, “Worship not except Allah.” They said, “If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down the angels, so indeed we, in that with which you have been sent, are disbelievers.”‘ As for ‘Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, ‘Who is greater than us in strength?’ Did they not consider that Allah who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs. So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped. And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn.” (Qur’an 41:13-17)
“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are ruthless against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves.” (Qur’an 48:29)
“Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the most vile of created beings.” (Qur’an 98:6)
“Arab and Muslim Communities Need To Talk About Anti-Blackness,” by Rowaida Abdelaziz, HuffPost, July 3, 2020:
The murder of George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer forced many communities to reckon with their role in anti-Black racism.
The conversation became more real for members of the Arab and non-Black Muslim communities in the U.S. when they learned that it was an employee at Cup Foods — a convenience store owned by a Palestinian American Muslim man — who called Minneapolis police on Floyd over a suspected counterfeit $20 bill.
American Muslims have no majority race, making them one the most diverse faith groups in the country. Nearly 3 million Muslims reside in the U.S., and more than a fifth of them are Black Muslims, a group that includes Black people born in the U.S. who converted from another religion or were raised Muslim, as well as immigrants from countries such as Somalia and Ethiopia. The African diaspora ― both from the slave trade and from voluntary immigration ― created African Arab populations in countries such as Sudan, Egypt and Yemen. And people from countries such as Mauritania often identify as all three: Arab, Black and African.
Black Muslims were among the first Muslims in the U.S., particularly those who were captured and enslaved in the 17th century. But they are often ignored in mainstream conversations about Islam. Now, the protests that have rocked the world in the weeks since Floyd’s death are also forcing non-Black, predominantly Arab and South Asian Muslims to evaluate their role in systemic injustice.
“This biggest issue for us as Muslims is not just Islamophobia; it’s systemic racism and white supremacy,” said Margari Aziza Hill, the co-founder and executive director of the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, an organization that provides racial justice education and training within Muslim communities. “If we are committed to the project of decolonization, anti-racism, anti-Islamophobia, anti-oppression, we’ll be successful.”
Hill, who is a Black Muslim, added: “But if we’re only focused on Islamophobia, then we’re going to leave people behind. They’re going to leave me behind because I’ll still be subjected to racial violence.”…
For Black Muslims, the intersection between anti-racism and Islamophobia is a lived experience that they can’t set aside as easily as non-Black Muslims. But what connects them is the shared experience of faith as a means to uphold justice and equality.
“The Quran is really clear about this. There is no ambiguity,” Abdul Khabeer said. “As Muslims, we should pray, and we should look for those prayers as something that binds us and fortifies us as we fight.”

RIght, ARAB RACIST SUPREMACISM is the greatest problem for non-Arab Muslims.
We get it … DARFUR.
Mona Eltahawy, a columnist for Egypt’s Al Masry Al Youm and Qatar’s Al Arab, wrote in the New York Times an article titled, “Racism: The Arab world’s dirty secret”. She was a witness to racist attacks by Arab Egyptians on blacks and stated:
“We are a racist people in Egypt and we are in deep denial about it. On my Facebook page, I blamed racism for my argument and an Egyptian man wrote to deny that we are racists and used as his proof a program on Egyptian Radio featuring Sudanese songs and poetry! Our silence over racism not only destroys the warmth and hospitality we are proud of as Egyptians, it has deadly consequences.” She believed racism was behind a police crackdown on 5,000 Sudanese refugees and the beating to death of some women and children. She added: “The racism I saw on the Cairo Metro has an echo in the Arab world at large, where the suffering in Darfur goes ignored because its victims are black and because those who are creating the misery in Darfur are not Americans or Israelis and we only pay attention when America and Israel behave badly.”
She criticized the country’s attitudes: “We love to cry ‘Islamophobia’ when we talk about the way Muslim minorities are treated in the West and yet we never stop to consider how we treat minorities and the most vulnerable among us.” While noting that racist incidents are condemned in the United States, she said that in Egypt, as well as in the Arab world, there is a culture of silence toward racist incidents which reflects negatively on Arab society.

To a Muslim ‘justice’ means believing in Mohammed and his violent commands.
To a Muslim ‘equality’ means believing and acting out the violent commands of Mohammed.
Today, few Muslims want to act violently like Mohammed.
Today, most Muslims don’t think Mohammed is a good role model.
mgoldberg says
Sacralized Islamophobia is what is created in the Qur’an, hadiths, Sunna and enshrined in the Sharia laws of Islam. To put ‘fear’ into non muslims is the theme of the teachings of Muhammed.
To then whine and complain when a muslim isn’t given jizya, the obligatory taxation non muslims must pay for their right to live as second class citizens, is then called ‘racism’ and ‘islamophobia’ by the non muslims. The bigotry of Islam is eternal and enshrined. The historical examples are ongoing and 1400 yrs of bigotry and worse.
mortimer says
Reply to mgoldberg: the bigotry is systemic, but Muslims are whistling past the graveyard, because they feel intense cognitive dissonance whenever human rights are mentioned. They know that Islam represses the human rights of kafirs. They are trying to pretend to us in the West that Islam is egalitarian when they know it is not egalitarian, but extremely bigoted towards the kafir.
Muslims who are concerned about human rights have nowhere to go but out the door.

DOES A CONCEPT OF ‘EQUALITY’ EXIST IN ISLAM ???
In the April 9, 2002 issue, The Wall Street Journal published the concept of blood money in Saudi Arabia. If a person has been killed or caused to die by another, the latter has to pay blood money or compensation, as follows.
100,000 riyals if the victim is a Muslim man
50,000 riyals if a Muslim woman
50,000 riyals if a Christian man
25,000 riyals if a Christian woman
6,666 riyals if a Hindu man
3,333 riyals if a Hindu woman
According to this hierarchy, a Muslim man’s life is worth 33 times that of a Hindu woman. This hierarchy is based on the Islamic definition of human rights and is rooted in the Quran and Sharia (Islamic law). How can Muslim apologists talk of justice and democracy when the concept of equality in Islam is NONEXISTANT ?

HuffPuffPost? Who reads that anymore? HuffPuffPost is just another mainstream lapdog that pushes islamic dogma down the throats of its readers. HuffPuffPost is proselytizing for their muslim cracker masters. If anyone has brains, he or she would run from all religion, period. Religion has nothing to do with moral governance because good governance starts with the individual minding the constitution.
No Muzzies Here says
Finally, there’s a religion that the left has come to love and embrace. One that mandates the replacement of our Constitution by Sharia law. One that seeks to replace Christianity.
One that considers Blacks inferior. One that orders the killing of anyone who leaves it.

mohammad was a slave owner, persians treated slaves horrifically, most african slaves never even made it thru the journey. islamists slaughtering african christians as we speak and all we hear from left/msm is silence.

Don’t tell BLM that Mohammed was a slave owner. Black lives were worth HALF that of a white life.
Mohammed traded ONE white slave for TWO black slaves.

And they seem not to care about slavery that is rife right now…

Grimly so. I don’t think a lot of people even know about this.

Can HuffPost sink any lower? They must be bought and paid for by some entity bent on destroying America and its liberty.

It’s just more drivel from the Left. Their opinion is there for everyone to rally around; other opinions are merely attempts at division.

The huffpost must be cancelled.
Leftists have created a new hoop to jump through, cancel culture. Therefore the USA must begin demanding that islam be cancelled for their legacy of supporting slavery that still goes on today. Their founder Mo was a slave owner and all symbols and structures relating to islam must be destroyed.
Many international orgs, including the UN have slave nations in their membership, they need to be cancelled as well. All church denominations that work to resettle muslim migrants need to be cancelled too. That’s just the start, it is a long list of those that must be cancelled, banished, eradicated and utterly destroyed. We need to get busy.
Since many of the people responsible are not statues to be taken down but are still alive walking the Earth they need to be imprisoned. The left really didn’t think their cancel culture through.
gravenimage says
Some Leftists have not thought it through–but many have, and simply don’t expect cancel culture to ever be applied to them.
James Lincoln says
True, gravenimage.
The leftists are starting to eat their own – ones who are not “leftist enough”…

Yes–we are seeing this more and more, James. Recently a Leftist was called out for “White privilege” for trying to put through an anti-racist policy. And no–I’m not joking:
“‘Privilege’ and ‘Pandering’
Hayward school board member accused of using ‘white privilege'”

Just check out the insanity of this rhetoric.
And never mind that this “white privilege” was supposedly exercised by someone who from their surname is almost certainly Hispanic.
Eating their own, indeed…

Speaking of the quran and something being ‘really clear’ ..can any islamic ‘scholars’ enlighten us regarding the meaning of allah’s statement that sounds like a cryptic crossword clue?
“Above it are nineteen”
koran 74:30
Nineteen WHAT allah?Unicorns?Beer bottles?
NOBODY KNOWS
The problem with an open sentence like koran 74:30 is that you can put ANYTHING after nineteen.
So it is an inconclusive open statement
Maybe huffpost knows. It isn’t ‘really clear’ is it?I have not found ANY muslim who can explain this obscure statement in allah’s ‘perfect’ book.
DO tell us what it means….
“Lo!This quran is a conclusive word”
koran 86:13
No it isn’t:IF the quran has an inconclusive open statement like quran 74:30 whose meaning NOBODY understands THEN logically it cannot be said of the quran that it is a ‘conclusive’ word.
That one is surely for yazi qadhi’s superduper ‘advanced’ students:yet another illogicality in the holey koran like MARY being in the Trinity{koran 5:116},Jesus having the Gospel{koran 5:46} muhammed being in the Bible{koran 7:157 Ridiculous:muhammed isn’t even from the Children of Israel so he is NOT qualified to be in the Bible is he?}and that patriarch of Judaism Abraham isn’t Jewish since he must have been a muslim{koran 3:67}
koran 74:30 is like a cryptic crossword clue that makes no sense:sort of like a STEM textbook that says ‘answers and solutions on page 410’ ….when there are only 300 pages in the book.
gravenimage says
But if you question it pious Muslims will still murder you…
tgusa says
The huffpost is basically begging us to make them and all of their leftist supporters live under sharia law. They reject the contemporary culture they live in now. Should we grant them their wish? After all, who could be against justice and equality? In order to be more inclusive towards muslims we may need to cancel several amendments to the Bill of Rights.

Islam treats all non-Muslims like crap, so there’s no justice in Islam and there never has been and never will be. Islam and any concept of justice and equality are a total fantasy, the equivalent of pigs learning how to fly.

HuffPost: Qur’an “really clear” about “faith as a means to uphold justice and equality”
……………
Just ludicrous. There is no equality in Islam; it is Arab supremacist and terribly racist against non-Arabs, *especially* Blacks.
Then, by “justice” the Qur’an means imposing the savagery of Islam on Infidels, often violently.
Manuele Lui says
PUFFING&HUFFING POST “Is another UNBELIEVER & DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THE MUSLIMS ARE SAYING & MEAN BY justice and equality. Islam has no justice and equality, it only has hate and pain for both followers and non-believers. Call it what it really is, a DICTATORSHIP using a barbaric “religious” ideology to control its followers.
