Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey creates “autonomous and civilian structure” dedicated to denying early 20th-century genocide of Christians

Jul 4, 2020 2:00 pm By Robert Spencer

The Turks continue to deny that they committed genocide of the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian Christians of the nation. The Christians were kuffar harbi — Infidels at war with Islam — for wanting independence, and hence under Islamic law their lives were forfeit. But jihadis and Islamic supremacists never, ever take responsibility for what they have done. It either didn’t happen or was the infidel’s fault.

“Erdogan Creates Institution to Deny Armenian Genocide,” International Christian Concern, June 27, 2020:

06/27/2020 Turkey (International Christian Concern) – Turkey’s state-run media has announced the outcome of a five-hour Presidential High Advisory Board meeting held on June 16th which addressed the Armenian genocide. Following this meeting, President Erdogan decided to develop a so-called “new autonomous and civilian structure” which would focus on the genocide.

The Armenian genocide murdered, deported, or forcibly converted over 1.5 million Christians living in Turkey’s predecessor, the Ottoman Empire. Turkey has refused to acknowledge their country’s role in this, despite international recognition and scholarship saying otherwise. The authorities also continue policies which helped facilitate the genocide….

The new institution presented by President Erdogan would conduct research and develop strategies to refute the Armenian genocide….Since most institutions in Turkey are state-run, there is no expectation that this expectation that this institution will be autonomous from government interference.

More than any other people on Earth, Muslims really do seem incapable of accepting blame for anything — and far too eager to take credit for positive things done by non-Muslims. They really are shameless, and entirely incapable of any sort of honest self-criticism — which is one reason their societies remain the most backward and unenlightened.

THE FINAL STAGE OF A GENOCIDE IS THE COVERUP!

Any Turk who cares about such matters should find and export materials connected with the genocides and get them to foreign researchers. The archives of Turkey will likely be purged of incriminating materials.

When there is a massive COVERUP of such a large-scale genocide as that in Ottoman Turkey, there is a high likelihood that the country will create a FUTURE GENOCIDE.

The next target in Turkey for genocide is the Kurdish people.

Why bother with setting up an institution to refute the genocide when they’ve already been lying about it for over a century???

My ancestors fled to Germany and then my great grandmothers brother made it to America. He then sponsored her and the rest of our family. The first thing the oldest son did was join the service to show gratitude, and we have had service members every generation since. We are all so grateful to be here and we thank God every day for the privilege of being US citizens.
I may be the Greek Empress, but I am American first!!!

    Happy Fourth everybody!!!

Well said. My grand parents came here to America (legally, of course) shortly after the turn of the last century to, as I put it, escape the “Tender Mercies” of the Ottoman Empire. They had three children here and never taught them, or their three grandchildren, to hate the sons or grandsons of those who committed those atrocities. I never met my grandfather as he died when my father was 11. Being the “Oldest Son” (and middle child) he went to work after school and helped put his brother and sister through college. He went to RISDI on a scholarship. My grandmother only taught her children to say “Hello”, How are you?”, and (the only response acceptable) “Fine thank you” in her native language. Otherwise, she said to me one day, “I told them ‘You live in this country. You learn to speak and think in the language of success’.” She spent 50 years walking a 2 mile round trip during the week to a nearby school to teach immigrants “Citizenship Classes”. While I am a proud, unhyphenated American, since 9/11, I’ve been saying: “If you want to know what life would be like in a Caliphate and/or under Sharia Law, ask an Armenian”.

      • gravenimage says

        Jul 8, 2020 at 1:51 am

Obviously black adder does not care about concern over the horrors of genocide. Why would we think otherwise?

The United States should have officially recognized the Armenian Genocide–and the US Senate has in fact done so.

That parts of the West have shamefully not recognized the Armenian Genocide does not, somehow. make the genocide itself less horrific. Why would the appalling black adder believe that it does?

And I have openly advocated for my government and others in the West to recognize the Armenian Genocide. How does my doing so make me a “c@nt”?

I believe it is time to discuss the viper’s future on this site. Since you are the latest recipient if its venom I would suggest you be the one to do so. I have noticed a dearth of comments lauding Erdogan’s latest affront to the true history of his nation’s past, which suggests to me the possibility that either viper’s antics are driven by a thirst for real, bloody revenge and is trying to whip everyone up into a frenzy, or, and more simply, a desire to vent on everyone else who doesn’t express themselves in the precise manner of which he/she/it approves. Either way, these are the manners and actions of a “Progressive” Tyrant-In-Wating.

Myron. black adder appears to be a standard Muslim apologist (whether he is Muslim himself or not is almost immaterial here).

He desperately tries to distract from Islamic savagery–in this case implying that Infidel countries failing to formally recognize the Armenian Genocide are a greater evil than slaughtering up to two million victims in the first place.

Of course, one can work for a formal recognition (as I have indeed done in my country, the United States) while still being able to condemn the Armenian Genocide itself as one of the most horrifying of historic atrocities, and that Turkey is continuing its official denial.

As for apologists like black adder, I think that they expose just how morally bankrupt this apologia for evil truly is.

Congress tried to pass a resolution recognizing the AG in late 2019, Trump blocked it (I think) just as he has blocked several attempts to sanction Turkey over the S400 and other issues (except for that one time over the Pastor Brunson affair)… According to John Bolton, Trump really has a soft spot for Erdogan, though I doubt whether a different President would have acted to confront Turkey (“an important ally” of the US)…

        • Myron J. Poltroonian says

          Jul 5, 2020 at 1:58 pm

Every president since FDR has acted the same way. Their help in the desert warfare against Rommel during WW II was essential. (According to contemporaneous accounts from the time, their ability to sneak through sometimes confusing lines at night and, w/o the soldier feeling it, tell by putting a hand on their helmet if they were Allied or Axis was uncanny. If it was an Axis soldier they’d slit their throats and move on.)

        • gravenimage says

          Jul 8, 2020 at 4:09 pm

True, Myron–this is hardly a new thing under President Trump.

Of course, I think it is high time that we realized that Turkey is *not* our ally. And with the country fast Islamizing under Erdogan, there is even less reason to pander to these barbarians.

Erdogan is a dictator and a Muslim fanatic. It’s a shame that the secularism of Kamal Attaturk is being dismantled bit by bit. It’s even more of a shame that Christians, being an easy target as usual, are being persecuted in Turkey. Can Christian powers come to their rescue?

    • gravenimage says

How is my noting that Ataturk himself allowed the Armenian Genocide to continue make me a “fun”? (Does black adder mean “fan”?).

Ataturk did indeed try to curb some of the excesses of Islam–sadly, genocide was not among them.

When I was a child I lived in a small city with a large Jewish population; though my family was nominally Christian I and my friends spent most of our time at the local YMHA which was integrated and had some girls’ clubs. Ever since I learned the meaning of “kuffar harbi — Infidels at war with Islam” it always brings a smile to my face to recall that for about a year I belonged to one with that name, though I don’t recall exactly what meaning was given for it at the time.
