Pope Francis has made the risible claim that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” Although this is not and could not ever be a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church, it is assumed to be some kind of superdogma by the Catholic hierarchy worldwide, superseding all reason, all common sense, all fact, and all prudence, and is ruthlessly enforced, such that all those who stand by the truth are forcibly silenced and marginalized. Now this willful ignorance and suppression of the truth will only intensify.
“Pope to Pen ‘Human Fraternity’ Encyclical,” by Jules Gomes, ChurchMilitant.com, August 27, 2020:
VATICAN CITY (ChurchMilitant.com) – An Italian bishop close to Pope Francis has revealed that the pontiff is preparing an encyclical on human fraternity as a sequel to his Abu Dhabi covenant with global Sunni Muslim leader Ahmad al-Tayyeb.
“Rumor has it that the pope himself will soon publish an encyclical on the theme of human fraternity,” Bp. Domenico Pompili of the diocese of Rieti told a press conference Wednesday.
This pontifical document will be a companion to the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together,” signed Feb. 4 2019 in Abu Dhabi by Pope Francis and Ahmad al-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Pompili indicated….
In comments to Church Militant, renowned Islamic scholar Robert Spencer said the Pope’s human fraternity declaration “has proven to be a smoking ruin, as it has resulted in not even the slightest hesitation among Islamic jihadis to persecute Christians or Islamic supremacists such as Turkey’s Erdoğan to appropriate Christian landmarks.”
Pope Francis’ human fraternity declaration has proven to be a smoking ruin.Tweet“Yet the pontiff keeps doubling down,” Spencer lamented.
Spencer, author of 21 books on Islam, elaborated:
An encyclical based on the same falsehoods as those of the declaration — that Islam is a religion of peace, that dialogue can overcome the propensity (which is largely restricted to Islam, although the declaration of course does not acknowledge this) for religious violence — will only amplify the reach and influence of these falsehoods within the Church, and move the hierarchy even farther away from what it should be doing: warning the faithful about the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat….

Francis’s deference to Islamic supremacism has not resulted in any improvement to the human rights or security of Christians in countries with high Islamic populations.
Muslims in the majority always apply the Pact of Omar as the default protocol for persecuting Christian minorities, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Islam will not change its spots by pretending that Islamic doctrines are benign.
Either Francis is hoping for Islamic reform or he is completely uninformed about Islam’s ‘consensus’ doctrines. Either way, Francis is inadequate for his job.

Does the Pope believe in Christianity? Or is he a secret Muslim?
FYI says
Apparently he is not even …a Catholic.
He has introduced SEVEN HERESIES {in his Amoris Laetitia }Which have been condemned{2017,”the filial correction”} by scholars, clergy and Theologians.
SEVEN HERESIES:that is some record for a pontiff:one would be bad enough, but SEVEN!
What sort of pope introduces ERROR into the Catholic Faith?
He has also said muslims worship the same God as Christians which is FALSE as the koran denies Jesus Christ{koran 4:157,koran 4:171} and allah CURSES Christians for believing in Jesus Christ {koran 9:30}so obviously they cannot be the same.
To promote this falsehood,that allah is the same as the Christian God,is a grave error and it is to equate evil with good{islam has a Doctrine of HATE al walaa wal baraa:Christianity doesn’t}
And most muslims won’t know this but allah’s greatest enemy is not ‘shaitan’:it is a MAN called ‘the King of Kings'{Sahih Muslim vol 5 hadith #5611}Further evidence of how it is impossible allah can be the same as the Christian God.
Only those with a blind devotion to the office of the papacy refuse to see the truth about francis..{‘There are none so blind as those who REFUSE to see” despite all the evidence} but there are remnant Catholic groups and a minority of faithful clergy who see something seriously wrong with this pope.
He is a staunch defender of islam and pro-globalist:his statements are very clear on that.
francis{‘the pope of the EAR’}remans SILENT on the persecution of Christians in the islamic world:he appears deaf to their protests.

It must be remembered that Jorge Mario Bergoglio espoused his Communistic views as a cardinal in Argentina. Like so many communists in the west, he seems to think that the Islamists will help their quest of subjugation of the people. Unfortunately he seems to have never read the accounts of Battle of Hudaibiyya in 628 A.D. where the unholy false prophet Muhammad had previously signed a treaty that was to last for ten years but lasted less than the two years that he needed to amass the force to destroy the Jews. Like the conquistadors, he is defiling the name of Jesus Christ by invoking his name into unholy acts that neither Jesus nor any of his disciples would have approved much less performed.

This radical change in attitude is taking place on the Muslim side, which Spencer ought to celebrate. Is it not the ultimate aim of his intellectual effort?

Tony, I understand that you fervently hope that this peace–such as it is–is a real thing, and that you have even said that soon Christians will enjoy full equal rights throughout the Arab Muslim world, even though no one Muslim has promised any such thing.
Many in Britain and the rest of the world also fervently hoped that Chamberlain’s “peace in our time” treaty meant that Adolf Hitler was an honest actor who desired peace while armed to the teeth and invading his neighbors. Alas, this was not so.
It is fine for Jews–and others–to attempt to make peace with Muslims. It is also well for Jews and Christians to recall that Muslims have broken virtually every such treaty–and that Islam in fact calls for using such treaties with Infidels only as long as they are advantageous in advancing the cause of Islam, and then to be broken.
I understand that Robert Spencer urging caution here is saying things that you really don’t want to hear–but it is best to keep them in mind as we go forward.

Could it he and the other higher up clerics at the Vatican are afraid of speaking the truth because it might cause jihad-minded Muslim to bomb even more Roman Catholic Churches than they already have already bombed ?
Could it be that also be for a much worse reason . Which is that he’s scared for only himself ,as he might be afraid a bullet fired by agun of a jihadist similar to what happened to pope John Paul II ?

When is this fool of a Pope going to wake up to Islam’s evil, violent nature? He needs to read Robert Spencer’s “The History of Jihad”. It might wake him up and also he would see that there have been past Popes who were very much aware of Islam’s evil nature and called it out as the evil force that it is. I keep thinking that maybe he knows something about some subject or other (maybe not) but, when it comes to Islam, this leftie Pope is an absolute know nothing dunce. I wonder whether this Pope is too arrogant to admit that he is wrong and so will stick with his bullshit claims about islam.
James Lincoln says
tim,
Pope Francis, if he already knows – or learns that he is wrong, will never admit it.
He has to much invested in the false narrative that he is promoting.
He is a total disgrace…
tim gallagher says
I think you are correct, James. If it is out of arrogance, out of pride, it is a completely wrong attitude this Pope has. After all, there is that ritual where the Pope washes the feet of some people (I think it is at Easter) to display his humility, imitating Christ’s attitude, and the right type of attitude for Christians to possess, so, if he does wake up and realise that he is wrong about islam, then he certainly should be perfectly willing to admit to his idiotic mistake. That’s what a good Christian would do. I don’t understand his attitude to islam, as he has lots of members of his staff who could go and research islam for him. I keep thinking that, maybe, he thinks that if he says nice things about Islam, then Muslims will actually be transformed (miraculously?) into nice people. It’ll never happen, but maybe that’s the way he views things – believes in miracles or some such thing. I suppose I believe that miracles can happen, but I’m pretty sure Islam will never become peaceful and pleasant. That would be the greatest miracle of all time.

Pope Francis to double down on his false statements on Islam, issue encyclical based on Abu Dhabi declaration
…………………….
Deeply foolish at best.
I seldom cross-post, but about a week ago I decided to read the Abu Dhabi Declaration–the “Document on Human Fraternity”–and give it a good dissection. I hope this is of interest to others here:
A few points:
In the name of innocent human life that God has forbidden to kill, affirming that whoever kills a person is like one who kills the whole of humanity, and that whoever saves a person is like one who saves the whole of humanity;
………………
“Innocent human life”–note that Muslims believe that it is only Muslims who are innocent–Infidels are not.
And the above is Qur’an 5:22–which is not a message to Muslims or to all mankind not to kill, but is only intended to chide Jews for supposedly not living up to their own moral standards.
More:
In the name of orphans, widows, refugees and those exiled from their homes and their countries; in the name of all victims of wars, persecution and injustice…
………………
This rhetoric is most often used by Muslims to falsely characterize the “Palestinians”–so this is aimed at smearing the Israelis.
More:
In the name of this fraternity torn apart by policies of extremism and division, by systems of unrestrained profit…
………………
This last is aimed at Capitalism–at nations with free trade–mostly the free West. Never mind that this characterization is quite false.
More:
We, who believe in God and in the final meeting with Him and His judgment, on the basis of our religious and moral responsibility, and through this Document, call upon ourselves, upon the leaders of the world as well as the architects of international policy and world economy, to work strenuously to spread the culture of tolerance and of living together in peace; to intervene at the earliest opportunity to stop the shedding of innocent blood and bring an end to wars, conflicts, environmental decay and the moral and cultural decline that the world is presently experiencing.
………………
In other words, the West is supposed to stop any defense against Islam. Then, “moral and cultural decline” means the freedom you find in the West.
More:
This Declaration, setting out from a profound consideration of our contemporary reality, valuing its successes and in solidarity with its suffering, disasters and calamities, believes firmly that among the most important causes of the crises of the modern world are a desensitized human conscience, a distancing from religious values and a prevailing individualism accompanied by materialistic philosophies that deify the human person and introduce worldly and material values in place of supreme and transcendental principles.
………………
Note that Jihad terror is *not* considered to be a problem, but just individualism–Islam *hates* and is opposed to individual rights.
More:
While recognizing the positive steps taken by our modern civilization in the fields of science, technology, medicine, industry and welfare, especially in developed countries, we wish to emphasize that, associated with such historic advancements, great and valued as they are, there exists both a moral deterioration that influences international action and a weakening of spiritual values and responsibility.
………………
Note the claim here–that freedom and innovation represent “moral deterioration”–with the unspoken corollary that the arid, backward Muslim world has no such moral problems.
More:
All this contributes to a general feeling of frustration, isolation and desperation leading many to fall either into a vortex of atheistic, agnostic or religious extremism, or into blind and fanatic extremism, which ultimately encourage forms of dependency and individual or collective self-destruction.
………………
Then, look at *this*–the claim that Jihad terror is the fault of the innovative West for creating medicine and better welfare for their citizens. How sick is this?
More:
History shows that religious extremism, national extremism and also intolerance have produced in the world, be it in the East or West, what might be referred to as signs of a “third world war being fought piecemeal”…
………………
In other words, Jihad terror and not wanting Jihad terror in your country (“intolerance”) are one and the same…
More:
We likewise affirm that major political crises, situations of injustice and lack of equitable distribution of natural resources – which only a rich minority benefit from, to the detriment of the majority of the peoples of the earth – have generated, and continue to generate, vast numbers of poor, infirm and deceased persons. This leads to catastrophic crises that various countries have fallen victim to despite their natural resources and the resourcefulness of young people which characterize these nations. In the face of such crises that result in the deaths of millions of children – wasted away from poverty and hunger – there is an unacceptable silence on the international level.
………………
In other words, give us more Jizya, you ‘filthy Infidels’.
And there is–both due to agricultural innovation and charity from the West, virtually no starvation in the world today, save where governments or terrorists are preventing food being brought in.
But they are blaming the West for not forking enough of her hard-earned wealth over to Mohammedans.
More:
We affirm also the importance of awakening religious awareness and the need to revive this awareness in the hearts of new generations through sound education and an adherence to moral values and upright religious teachings. In this way we can confront tendencies that are individualistic, selfish, conflicting, and also address radicalism and blind extremism in all its forms and expressions.
………………
No mention here of what horrors Islam *really* teaches, of course.
Then, the idea that Jihad terror is the fault of those who value the rights of the individual–just sickening.
More:
Moreover, we resolutely declare that religions must never incite war, hateful attitudes, hostility and extremism, nor must they incite violence or the shedding of blood. These tragic realities are the consequence of a deviation from religious teachings…
………………
Uh huh–never mind that just these horrors are the core of Islamic teaching.
More:
Freedom is a right of every person: each individual enjoys the freedom of belief, thought, expression and action. The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives. Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected, as too the imposition of a cultural way of life that others do not accept;
………………
No mention that there are no such freedoms in Islam–nor in Abu Dhabi itself, which enforces “blasphemy” laws. People have been imprisoned there for daring to criticize Islam.
More:
Dialogue among believers means coming together in the vast space of spiritual, human and shared social values and, from here, transmitting the highest moral virtues that religions aim for. It also means avoiding unproductive discussions;
………………
What might those “unproductive discussions” entail? Likely any questioning or even mention of the horrors of Jihad and Shari’ah.
More:
Terrorism is deplorable and threatens the security of people, be they in the East or the West, the North or the South, and disseminates panic, terror and pessimism, but this is not due to religion, even when terrorists instrumentalize it. It is due, rather, to an accumulation of incorrect interpretations of religious texts and to policies linked to hunger, poverty, injustice, oppression and pride.
………………
If these creeps *really* believed this, they would be talking to their own Jihadi coreligionists, rather than spouting Taqiyya at Christians.
More:
Good relations between East and West are indisputably necessary for both. They must not be neglected, so that each can be enriched by the other’s culture through fruitful exchange and dialogue. The West can discover in the East remedies for those spiritual and religious maladies that are caused by a prevailing materialism. And the East can find in the West many elements that can help free it from weakness, division, conflict and scientific, technical and cultural decline.
………………
In what possible way are we “enriched” through barbaric Islamic culture being imposed on us?
More:
It is an essential requirement to recognize the right of women to education and employment, and to recognize their freedom to exercise their own political rights. Moreover, efforts must be made to free women from historical and social conditioning that runs contrary to the principles of their faith and dignity.
………………
In other words, preventing forced veiling, child and forced marriage, and the other oppression of Islam is not allowing Muslim women to be free from “social conditioning” that runs counter to the horrors of Islam. Let *that* sink in.
More:
It is also necessary to protect women from sexual exploitation and from being treated as merchandise or objects of pleasure or financial gain. Accordingly, an end must be brought to all those inhuman and vulgar practices that denigrate the dignity of women. Efforts must be made to modify those laws that prevent women from fully enjoying their rights;
………………
This basically means banning Victoria’s Secret ads because Muslims find them offensive. No such problems with Islamic oppression, of course.

Maybe, that is why Benedict was removed?
As most of us are aware, Jorge Mario Bergoglio aka Pope Francis was “elected” to this position by the College of Cardinals, he is not self-appointed.
Shouldn’t we look at the “source” of the problem, the College of Cardinals, and hold them accountable for the election of this man to the Papacy? Is it possible that this “esteemed” body of Cardinals were unaware of Jorge Mario Bergoglio leftist leanings?
Or maybe, historically speaking, he is the right man at the right time.
