“Government lawyers have made them wards of court to reduce fears that they may grow up as terrorists and target the UK in future attacks.”
Yeah, that’ll fix everything. If there is anyone we should trust to prevent jihad terrorism, it’s the British government.
Sarcasm aside, this is a suicidally stupid move, but it’s just one in a series as Death Wish Britannia continues to circle the drain.
“‘Handful’ of orphaned or abandoned kids of British ISIS jihadis will be brought back to the UK from Syria,” The Sun, July 30, 2020:
THE Foreign Office is to extract “a handful” of orphaned or abandoned kids of British IS jihadis in Syria.
Government lawyers have made them wards of court to reduce fears that they may grow up as terrorists and target the UK in future attacks.
They will be brought up in care, with the High Court having “supreme legal guardianship” over them.
It is understood that fewer than five youngsters whose British parents are either dead or have fled have been identified and located ready to be brought back.
After the fall of the IS regime in Iraq and Syria, more than 14,000 jihadi brides and children from 60 countries were interned in camps by the Kurds.
PM Boris Johnson has said he has “great sympathy” for the abandoned kids. It is understood they will be put into care on their return, but that could take months.
Three orphans were brought back to Britain in November in an extraction mission by FCO officials protected by special forces.
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab had called it “the right thing to do”….
AntiIslamicman says
I guess they want us to all die together. This is an insane policy. Islam does not fit into any western society, they are endangering the lives of millions of people
Francis Weber says
They have already started the killing and the Islamic take over fully assisted by the government, no Muslims in your country no problems.
CogitoErgoSum says
If they are wards of the state and the Church of England is the state’s official religion will the children be raised as members of that church?
Keith O says
Obviously not.
That would be abusive and Islamophobic.
CogitoErgoSum says
I live in the U.S. and I admit I am ignorant about many things in the UK but isn’t the Queen the head of the Church of England and isn’t one of her titles “Defender of the Faith?” I see no evidence that she is now nor ever has defended the faith of her Church. Bringing in large amounts of people into her country who adhere to a religion that specifically wants to destroy her own religion is NOT defending her faith. I really do not understand the British. But then Henry VIII was given that title by the Pope for defending the Roman Catholic Church and he, obviously, did not do that. But, like Scarlett O’Hara, I guess I will think about that tomorrow.
CogitoErgoSum says
Maybe that’s what the guy in the picture at the top is thinking about.
Gray says
I don’t live in the UK either. However I did live there for a time, and it seems to me rather unfair to blame the Queen personally for the acts of various British Governments. The Queen is a Constitutional Monarch. She has very little direct power. She might open sessions of the British Parliament, but the Queen’s speech is always written for her, by the Government leaders of the day. The Prime Minister of the day always has regular meetings with the Queen, so she may have some indirect input, but little actual power. Personally, I think the Queen is quite extraordinary. How many nonagenarians are there out there, still working full time? It’s not as if she needs the money. It also seems to me unfair to question her Christian faith. There seems no doubt that her Christian faith is very strong and real to her. She is one of the very few persons still alive who personally remembers the London blitz, when it was beginning to seem that Britain and the allies might lose the war. There is no doubt that her deep Christian Faith helped her through those dark days. However I acknowledge that things will no doubt change dramatically when Charles ascends to the throne. I understand he has already made it clear that he wants to be known as ‘the Defender of Faith,’ not ‘Defender of the Faith’.
gravenimage says
The Queen *should* be speaking out for her people. Her father, the King, spoke out against Fascism.
CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, I’ve read before that Charles has said he will think of himself as “Defender of the Faiths” instead of “Defender of THE Faith.” I don’t understand how that works. Islam wants to destroy all other faiths except Islam. Charles wants to defend Christianity and destroy it at the same time? That makes no sense to me.
Also, I don’t doubt that the Queen is a very nice and extraordinary woman in her own way but if she really has no power over anything what is her purpose except to be a sort of museum piece to remind the people of a bygone era? I don’t mean to criticize her own Christian faith but simply going to church on Sunday or claiming to be a Christian is not really defending your faith. The fact that there are fewer Christians in the UK today than when the Queen assumed the throne is proof that she is losing the battle to defend the faith. Sorry if that seems unfair but I’m just calling it as I see it.
Rufolino says
Yes indeed, the Queen’s father King George VI spoke out to encourage the British people in their struggle for survival as an independent nation.
He did it because that was the policy of Churchill’s government, after the Declaration of War.
Not once did he “speak out” against Fascism before war had been declared, because the Government’s policy then had been appeasement.
(In fact, as far as I know, the King never once used the word “Fascist” in any public statement.)
It is the unspoken obligation of the Sovereign to support Goverment policy.
Sometimes it must be unbearable, intolerable, for the occupant of the Throne.
(More than once Queen Victoria threatened to abdicate in protest against the policies that “half-mad firebrand”, William Gladstone.)
Politicians only tolerate the presence of the Queen when she does not get in their way.
CogitoErgoSum says
It would seem UK politicians also tolerate having an official state religion only as long as it does not get in the way … but then at least one British monarch felt this way too – Henry VIII. So I suppose it’s a sort of British tradition.
gravenimage says
Rufolino, King George did not speak out before he did because he was not king.

Hey, we can’t have these children grow up not knowing their culture: killing of Jews, Christians and basically anything that is not their version of Islam. Acquiring respect for democracy and fellow human beings? Well, I suppose, if they insist.
Miguel Ángel says
Whilst their fathers are living it up in 4* hotels up and down the lengths and breadths of the UK. Although I feel sorry for children, innocents when the are first brought into the world. You cannot fight fire with feeble hands. Caring and compassion is inherently Christian, the UK government practices our country’s origin of christianity on anyone but its own people. It is mass suicide. I propose demonstrating up& down the country on these issues. I don’t belong to a group or anything as such. But I wish people could get together to organise such things – as the BLM did – in order to protest our disgust at our government & their actions with these illegal migrants as a whole. I have tried researching myself, on the number of illegal & failed seekers of whom have committed the horrendous violations on women&girls&boys&men. It is not only the economic cost& the terrorist devastations perpetrated; the murder of people’s souls have lifelong consequences and finish people off, literally suicides, self harm & loss of earnings/ inability to recover, impacts the country – but the victims much more . The government are allowing these people to violate our country but worse – our people. I trust not one, as I have had nothing but negative experience with them . They are parasites who take and expect.
J Morgan says
How’s about compassionately set up an orphanage in Syria? People do still live there. They will grow up to be grateful to the UK from a distance. What’s this need to flood their own land, especially with people who are at risk of never fully assimilating and with a worldview to kill you and take over your country?
CogitoErgoSum says
Muslims do not believe in adoption so the children would probably live their entire lives in the orphanage. I would be against raising them as Muslims anyway. Perhaps it would be better if they were raised as Christians in the UK and maybe they will one day return to Syria as Christians. Maybe?
J Morgan says
I see that. Having a Christian influence in their lives and even a chance to be adopted are somethings they would not get in Syria. I wonder what influence the Jihadis already had on their children? and how children will try to fondly recall their parents, no matter how murderous they were.
CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, if the children are older than 6 or 7 what they learned in those early years will come to influence their thinking for the rest of their lives. It will be very had to change their attitude towards the world and certain things they were taught about Islam will haunt them the rest of their lives. I hope these children coming to the UK are very, very young.
J Morgan says
I think you are right that the children they bring back to the UK should be very young, under 6 or 7.
No 25 year old teenagers..
Eva says
Except they won’t be raised as Christians here.
They’ll be raised in the religion of their parents, anything else would be considered ‘culturally inappropriate’ and probably ‘immoral’ by the quisling british government.
So they’ll be raised to be jihadi’s, by whatever leftist social worker can be found for them.
And you can bet your next paycheque that they will blame the british for ‘murdering’ their parents, etc, so they’ll go on the rampage here.
And it won’t affect the government who inflicted them on us, because they have private security.
We don’t even have guns.
RonaldB says
What makes you think anyone is grateful to a benefactor? The more generous the benefactor, the more the recipient hates him.
CogitoErgoSum says
It seems to work that way with Islam. A non-Muslim who gives anything to a Muslim is still a dhimmi – at best.
J Morgan says
This is a concern, because the kids may idealize their parents and the parents philosophy, and they would as a result hate the hand that feeds them, as the Jihadi philosophy is all about hate and murder.

Ronald, this is *not* always true. I grew up very poor, and am–and was at the time–very grateful to people who helped me.
James Lincoln says
gravenimage,
You have my highest respect. Growing up very poor yet still finishing college and taking the time to share your immense “knowledge base” on this website.
My own father grew up very poor, and I have never shared his story:
My grandparents, both first-generation Italian immigrants, initially were starting to live the American dream. They owned a house with a large garden, chickens, and a cow. My grandfather worked as an engineer at the local railroad.
Then disaster struck. My grandfather died in the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic while my grandmother was still pregnant with my father. And there were few welfare safety nets in 1918.
My father had eight brothers and sisters. The older ones worked to help support the family, and my grandmother started a very small store to help bring in some income. Remarkably, they never lost the house.
My father was a gifted student. An honor student in high school, he was taking college prep courses.
In the middle of his high school schooling, he came home in tears and told his mother that he was taken out of the college prep courses and assigned to vocational courses.
My grandmother, to her credit, went to the principal’s office the next day looking for an explanation. The principal told her that because her son came from a very poor family that it would be more practical for him to study a vocation.
My grandmother insisted that my father be put back in college prep courses, which they did. He graduated with honors.
He enlisted in the Army during World War II and became a medic. Long story short, miraculously he survived with no serious injuries.
He then used the G.I. Bill to finish his premed courses and then applied to medical school – and was accepted.
He got married and his wife worked as a waitress to help pay the rent. While in medical school, my father worked at a men’s clothing store selling suits. A professor at the medical school saw him working in the store and told him that it was against school policy for students to work while attending medical school. He had to quit his job.
It got to the point where he could not afford his medical school tuition, even with the G.I. Bill and my mother’s help. His grades were excellent.
The Dean of the medical school repeatedly sought out my father for his unpaid tuition. My father did not respond and continued going to classes. Finally the Dean cornered him and my father was directed to the Dean’s office.
The Dean told him that he knew that he had come from a very poor family. The Dean wanted his students to be proud of their school and education – and hold their heads high. He waved my father’s tuition for the remainder of his time at medical school and only asked that he pay the favor forward to someone else.
That someone else was me.
Out of his entire high school graduating class, my father was, by far, the least likely to become a physician.
CogitoErgoSum says
James, that story about your family makes me understand even better why our Presidents have ended their speeches to the American people with the words “God bless America.” May God also bless the souls of your father and your mother and, indeed, you yourself. God bless and keep us all and our great country.

CogitoErgoSum and J Morgan,
Thank you for your kind replies.
gravenimage says
James, thank you so much for sharing this story about your father and family–very impressive. You must be very proud of them.
I also had a crisis in high school–I was attending a prep school on full scholarship. In the middle of my junior year they let us know that they were cutting full scholarships, but that half-scholarships were still available. Being on welfare, this was, sadly, completely out of reach. After that, things got even more violent at my abusive home, and I ran away when I was fifteen. I did not give up, though, and was still intent on going to university.
Later, I have also tried to help others–I have taught adult literacy, including with a program at the Oakland jail. Many members of my family have been semi-literate, including my father and my two brothers. I have also tutored “at risk” kids to pass the GED.

It’s kind of paradoxical; the British government is exhibiting more concern for the “children” than their parents did. Their parents went to fight in a profoundly anti-British organization, and either outright abandoned their children, or put themselves at risk without making provisions. So, the very government they hate is taking their responsibility for them, and making sure their family line carries on.
It’s actually a very feminized mind set. Rather than consider the actual consequences of your actions, or the actual situation you are reacting to, they are reacting from emotion when presented with a specific picture of some abandoned baby looking hungry. So, of course they’ll import this poor child of vicious jihadis, not considering there are some 2 or 3 billion cute, starving, neglected children in the hellholes of the world.
