Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

On 9/11, Newsweek Wonders if ‘Islamophobia’ Is the ‘Last Acceptable Form of Prejudice’

Sep 15, 2020 5:00 pm By Robert Spencer 50 Comments

My latest in PJ Media:

What exactly is “Islamophobia”? A Newsweek feature published on September 11 examines this question in detail – and what better day for such an examination, for as everyone knows, the story of the 9/11 jihad terror attacks is about how Muslims are victims, not about jihad terrorism. In the course of the article, Newsweek “journalist” Basit Mahmood offers several indications of what he thinks “Islamophobia” is: it is a “form of prejudice” that increases “hate crimes against Muslims.” It’s “anti-Muslim sentiment.” It’s “bigotry.” It’s “dehumanization on the basis of religion.”Well, no one should be in favor of such things, but Mahmood almost immediately muddies the waters. He cites as manifestations of “Islamophobia” the findings that “nearly half of adults in the U.K. believe that Islam is incompatible with British values and in the U.S, a survey found that two in five Americans believe the same when it comes to American values.” Mahmood doesn’t say so, but this is not necessarily a sign of prejudice at all. Such a recognition could stem from a simple awareness of the fact that Sharia’s denial of the freedom of speech, the equality of rights of women, and more is at variance with Western principles.

Mahmood is also disingenuous when he includes this in a piece on “Islamophobia”: “Donald Trump signed an executive order dubbed a ‘Muslim ban’ by critics, banning residents of six Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.” He doesn’t mention that there are six other countries on the list that are not majority Muslim, or that it’s a fairly sorry “Muslim ban” that leaves 51 majority-Muslim countries entirely unbanned. The travel ban is not a Muslim ban at all, but a ban on entry by people from countries that cannot or will not provide adequate information on those wanting to enter. Mahmood is irresponsible to misrepresent the situation in this way.

Mahmood also cites a University of Arkansas associate professor, Khaled Beydoun, in claiming that the kind of populism Trump represents has enflamed “Islamophobia.”

Mahmood even drags out the failed hate propagandist-turned-real estate agent Nathan Lean to explain that “Islamophobia” is “simply driven by the fact that Muslims are different,” racially and ethnically, and to repeat the absurd and baseless claim that “Islamophobia” is a “multi-million dollar industry” of “fear merchants.”

There is much more. Read the rest here.

Prejudice is what Noise-Week and the rest of the media display on a daily basis for our duly elected President. This particular rag is barely afloat, gouging captive audiences at airports, filled with adverts of feminine hygiene products because clueless, emotional women are most of their readership.

Islamophobia does not exist. It is a device to defeat any attempt to discuss rationally “honour” killings (always of women), child rape, marital rape, arbitrary legal decisions, inequitable financial settlements in divorce, whippings, beatings and suchlike.

Islamophobia is an accusation of prejudice used by people who want to preclude any analysis of the political ideologies of jihad-terrorism, Islamic supremacism and anti-kafir bigotry.

The fake slur of ‘Islamophobia’ is a perfect example of GAS-LIGHTING … pretending that another person is MENTALLY ILL in order to dismiss his valid concerns.

The slander of ‘Islamophobia’ is also a PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION … transferring one’s own guilty behaviors onto ‘others’ and scapegoating them for it.

In fact, AL WALAA WAL BARAA is the Islamic mirror image of what ‘Islamophobia’ is supposed to be.

AL WALAA WAL BARAA (comradeship with Muslims and hostility towards dirty kafirs) is an authentic, canonical, compulsory and universally required teaching of Islam that ALL Muslims are obligated to believe and practice for eternal salvation.

AL WALAA WAL BARAA is actually KAFIR-O-PHOBIA … hatred and hostility directed by Muslims against the dirty kufaar ‘for the sake of Allah’.

Actually, and in accordance with the silly age we live in, the latest acceptable form of prejudice is against the Caucasian race.

Muzzies get all kinds of protections, including by way of the immensely phony “Islamophobia” rot. But Caucasians (if not Muslim of course), and especially heterosexual, non-Muslim males of northern European origin, are “open game” right now.

Islam profits from this. Modern Leftism profits from this. But the truth does not profit from this though, as usual, the truth is a rare phenomenon. Always has been. Is now. And mankind is so pathetic that it is likely always to remain in the “rare category.”

    Damn.

One difference is no one will hear whites whining like muslims regarding prejudice against whites. Yes we notice and quietly we are becoming increasingly angrier I don’t think it will end well especially for the anti white whites. Sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. Lesson not yet learned. Those people deserve to be forced to form a migrant caravan and get the hell out. We have had it with them.

It appears that one of the qualifications of employment at Newsweek is having undergone a frontal lobotomy severing the white connecting fibers.

Basit Mahmood offers several indications of what he thinks “Islamophobia” is: it is a “form of prejudice” that increases “hate crimes against Muslims.

Muslims’ defense of islam is one big bluff. They are reduced to employing every fallacious trick they can to maintain appearances as a religion of peace. They have no other choice, as there can be no rational and moral defense for the bigotry and violence it teaches and causes. Mahmood’s claim of “prejudice” rings hollow considering the paucity of evidence in support of that culture-wide claim. The real prejudice is in the false accusation of “islamophobia” and racism to discredit the arguments of good people who legally resist the jihad intentions in islam. We offer reasoned argument, they return threats and false accusations; we offer examples of genocidal violence by muslims for allah, and they return with hurt feelings over cartoons!

Excuse me! this is where I must inject a “F*CK YOU!”

WE are the ones who must bear the prejudice of muslims’ epithets that hurt and defame, we are the ones that risk our livelihoods and lives for speaking fact-based opinions about islam. The most hurtful things I could say about islam are true, it’s an ignorant superstition, explicitly violent, and dangerously bigoted in that it encourages hatred and murder for debased reasons. That’s not me talking with prejudice, that’s just me being frankly honest. But hey, this is war, and we can’t expect muslims to start acting fair after 14 centuries of murder and terror for allah. We do our own intellect a disservice by acting surprised, this is their m.o., this is what they do best: lie, subvert, defame, murder, and terrorize, for their demon-based religion. History backs my claim, there’s nothing prejudiced about speaking the truth.

, A “phobia” is an “irrational fear ” Therefore ,those people who are aware of-the instruction for violence and killing for the advancement of Islam found the Qu ‘ran and the Hadith, which in not limited to specfic place or time are informed and knowledgeable persons who are aware the violent and deadly essence of Islam. Therefore they don’t’ have Islam a case of “Islamophobia” but have what may appropriately be termed “Islamorealism.”

In addition keyboarding for myself and others I know who understand the many thing that are wrong with Islam, also well understand that Muslims are not Islam . So we are opposed to and against Islam but not against or opposed to Muslims. We know that many times Muslims are of Islam .For example , Muslims girls are victims FGM and “honor killings.” Many Muslims have been murdered b the jihadists of ISIS in their deluded and irrational jihad for Islam. How strange and terrible !

Furthermore, from the Christian/ Bible view the genuine Christians that I know care and like Muslims and are therefore will to show them ,if they willing, the doctrinal errors and false teaching of Islam from the Bible.

As in keeping with the Christian spirit of Galatians 4:16. Which reads “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth.” [N.K.J.V.]

I guess this term Islamophobia is supposed to indicate that there is an irrational aspect to hating Islam, as Walter points out just up above. I believe there is every reason in the world to hate evil, barbaric Islam. Islam is an evil, murderous ideology which has brought death and misery to endless people for 1400 years. It deserves to be hated. This excusing of Islam, despite all the evil it has done, which terms like Islamophobia seem intended to support, seems to me to be a mighty confidence trick. I hate islam, I hate Nazism and I hate Communism, as all are basically evil ideologies, which have slaughtered untold millions of people. They deserve to be hated by all decent human beings. I think the people calling Islamophobia a “prejudice” should also say that hating Nazism is also a “prejudice”. I agree with Wellington when he says that the predominant prejudice I see these days is this prevailing, very fashionable hatred of Caucasian people. Anyway, I’m always going to (quite rationally) hate evil Islam, evil Nazism and evil Communism. Evil should be hated.

I’ve got an idea. All US citizens should have to answer this question correctly before they can vote in the November 2020 presidential election:

      Which listed phobia is unwarranted?

      a. Nazi-phobia

      b. Marxist-phobia

      c. MS-13-phobia

      d. islam-o-phobia

      e. None of the above.

Thanks for the comments, James, gravenimage and Agostino. James, what is MS-13-phobia? Is it Microsoft and the 13 an operating system? Believe me when I say that I am one of the all time champion dinosaurs when it comes to technology. That is where I truly do actually have a phobia. i went to a shop a while back where I was made to feel so dumb by the young people when I was trying to work out how to use a new mobile phone that I have become someone who can’t really be bothered with keeping up with most technology. As long as I can write a few comments on Jihad Watch and listen to and watch people performing music on youtube on my PC, I’m pretty contented, and also do basic things with my mobile phone to stay in touch with people. On this term Islamophobia, as I said up above, I find that Muslims have pulled some kind of gigantic confidence trick on large numbers of people by saying that Islam doesn’t deserve to be loathed(it does) and that it is terrible that some of us, the people who I consider to be the awake and aware people, do actually hate Islam. Islam is a disgusting ideology. I am like a broken record, a bit like what I noticed that you said about your comments too, Agostino, but I am extremely annoyed at the way so many people keep telling us that Islam deserves to be respected. They don’t say that about Nazism, but I consider both these ideologies to be on the same level of evil. When are these fools going to wake up? If only enough people would wake up, we’d be well on the way to dealing effectively with Islam, this enemy of our entire way of living life.

Oops. Thanks, gravenimage. I didn’t have a clue what MS-13 was. I thought it might have been something included on the list as a joke, although, now you mention it, I think I have heard about that bunch of scumbags in the past. I haven’t heard them mentioned at all here in Australia. There’s a lot I don’t keep up with, that’s for sure. I spend a lot of my time trying to write some decent songs, trying to get a little better at playing the guitar (without much success), listening to performers I like on youtube, and playing golf once a week lately. By the way, how have you gone with the fires on the west coast of the USA? Seems very similar to the terrible time we had in Australia last summer.

That’s OK, Tim–I don’t think (luckily) there there is any element of this violent drug gang in Australia–no specific reason for you to be familiar with it.

The fires here have been really bad–we are not even in the fire zone, and we have had over thirty consecutive days of unhealthy air quality here. It does seem to be getting a bit better, though. And yes–very like the terrible fires in Australia–of course, this is the end of our hot season.

California sent firefighters to Australia then–and now Aussies are returning the favor:

“Some of Australia’s top firefighters are heading to California to face wildfires”

Thanks for the comment, gravenimage. Yeah, we’ve got our own drug gangs here, that’s for sure. Lately, they do seem to have intercepted a few big shipments of drugs here which came from Mexico and, I think, Colombia as well. Probably growing awareness of the big money that is to be made out here. I live out on the edge of Sydney, and so, last summer, when we had the really bad fires, the air quality was terrible where I live, although there was no actual danger from the fires. Out here, commentators occasionally mention the obvious point, which most of us are thinking, that 2020 has been a rotten year. Out here, drought, then the fires and then the bloody virus. Also, you hear that some people down the south coast of New South Wales, who lost their homes in the fires, are still living in tents. It must be 6 to 8 months since the fires. Hard going for them. I think a lot of people are beginning to get a bit stir crazy, and also depressed, after this ongoing Covid lockdown situation.

Well said Tim. All those ideologies are hateful, bigoted, and evil totalitarian methods of control. Like most other people on JW, I stand for freedom – freedom of speech, freedom of belief, and freedom of choice. Islam like Nazism and Communism, appeals to the psychopaths in the community, because they believe that theirs is the one and only true faith; and with their twisted mindsets, they believe that falsehood justifies murdering their critics.

I believe in exactly those things you list, Aussie Infidel. I feel that a lot of people (including plenty of my friends and family members, I must say) just don’t tend to have as strong a belief as I do in our western way of life and the achievements of western civilisation. I think we have developed a pretty good way of life and I see islam as an enemy and destroyer of that way of life. Same for Nazism and Communism. They are all evil, garbage ideologies as far as I am concerned. The way of life we have may have flaws, like anything created by human beings, but it beats the crap out of those three other rubbish ideologies.

There is no such thing as islamophobia.
It is not ‘hate speech’ to be critical of islam or any religion
islam is not a race:muslims are NOT racially and ethnically different to non-muslims!
    {There are asian,african,european muslims}

Look at the people behind attempts to bring in ‘hate speech”/blasphemy laws.

Who profits the most from this?
    muslims

Who are the ones behind it?
muslims:many of them lawyers of course.POLITICAL islam in action.
    {iqra khalid in Canada {2017},humza yousaf in Scotland}

They use our hard-won freedoms and their lawyer skills/political position to subvert our right to FREE SPEECH.

Remember that islam has two components;Political and Religious.
    What Political islam wants is to subvert our right to criticise islam{hence the ‘islamophobia’ nonsense,the race card,the ‘hate speech’/blasphemy laws}

We must oppose the plans of political islam and treasonous Quisling politicians who WILL subvert our right to FREE SPEECH.

      IMO:

The commonly held notion that Islam consists of separate political and religious components is untrue.

In truth, like all theocracies, the two are inseparable.

As theocracy is incompatible with democracy, Islam has no place in U.S, governance.

It is so dishonest and manipulative to characterize a principled opposition to an evil, destructive, tyrannical ideology as “prejudice” and I must point out that in the context of ideas this generally only applies to religion. Disagreement with a philosophy is a disagreement. Disagreement with a belief in imaginary supernatural beings and their nature, deeds, commands, etc., is “prejudice” and “bigotry”, the equivalent of despising a human being for the color of his skin. The Muslim Brotherhood took it even further when it tagged disagreement with THEIR particular supernatural belief system as a “phobia”. They know how to play the game.

As FYI notes, it is not “hate speech” to be critical of any religion, but that is how such criticism is treated. But when religious believers attempt to force their ideology on others by force — in other words, politically — they must be opposed as with anyone else trying to impose ideas by force. Out right to do so is inherent in our natures, no matter how you believe our natures were formed. If we can’t defend our own understanding of reality and our place in it and our rights according to our nature then we cannot function as human beings, only as prey animals vulnerable to the kind with bigger teeth and claws.

Islam teaches its adherents that THEY are the ones with the bigger teeth and claws.

Thanks, both. It’s not equivalent to being rude about someone’s family or favorite movie characters or other personal and circumstantial issues. In most circumstances that would just be rude and unkind. It’s an attack on the way a person experiences him/herself in reality, and often the religious don’t understand that because they are so wrapped up in believing that their understanding of reality is the only one that can be right because it’s “holy”.

Say you believed that the Law of Gravity is a god who loves us and consciously intervenes in our lives, and you are arguing this belief with an atheist on a rooftop. You assure the “unbeliever” that the Law of Gravity loves her and if she will just believe that and “let Him into her heart” she can step off the rooftop and the Law of Gravity by His Grace will hold her up in the air.

And then you give her a shove.

It’s an imperfect analogy because the answer will always come back, oh but “God” really is a Being and does love you. I’m just trying to make a point about how we experience reality and that atheists are not trying to be stubborn or obtuse or reject Anyone.

Of course there it would be futile to even try to make this point to a Muslim, because in their mindset there is no issue of choice involved.

What exactly is “Islamophobia”? A Newsweek feature published on September 11 examines this question in detail – and what better day for such an examination, for as everyone knows, the story of the 9/11 jihad terror attacks is about how Muslims are victims, not about jihad terrorism.
    ……………………

As ridiculous as this sounds–and *is*–many accounts of 9/11 sound not like murderous Jihad terror attacks, but as if they were about the “filthy Infidels” being inconsiderate of Muslim “sensibilities”.

At one time, not so very long ago, it was acceptable, even lauded, to be a man of discriminating tastes. Now it seems anything good is bad…just as the prophet Isaiah wrote so many thousands of years ago…and Jesus applied to this time in which we live.

One is supposed to be able to make judgments about what is good, right, just, fair, virtuous, etc. Since the corrupt have taken over the use of language, one must not make any judgments…unless one is on the side of the corruption.

It is up to each one as to whether to “discriminate” against an evil so bad, there are no words to express just how evil and wicked it is. To decide that islam is straight from satan the devil and wish to avoid any close contact with those ho practice this evil…to even a murderous degree…is not a phobia. It is rational, it is common sense, it is virtuous, it is taking God’s side in this matter between Him and satan the devil.

Divine Judgment be upon the evil, mass-murdering, pedoluster, raper of children. To the everlasting fire with the whole of this evil from satan. Anyone who practices this evil, should be aware that there will be a Divine Judgment coming soon.

It is stupid, and they will not stop making the claim. Year after year, they never stop accusing aggressive white cops for arresting millions of additional black people than whites. It is stupid. Leftists protest demanding anyone who disagrees with stupid be punished. But we do not care about what the stupid leftists want. They are stupid. That does not change. If it is violence they want, then we will fight for our freedom, but why hear this garbage over and over again. Oren Wysocki says,

“Year after year, they never stop accusing aggressive white cops for arresting millions of additional black people than whites.”

Police officers, both black and white, arrest more blacks percentage-wise because they commit more crimes than whites, for whatever reason, percentage-wise.

Blacks are also much more likely to resist arrest than whites – causing an escalation of force required by the police officer…

        Absolutely, James. Non-white officers–including blacks–also arrest more blacks, due to their being involved in more crimes;

My definition of Islamophobia would be an irrational or unjustified fear of Islam and Muslims. But what is irrational or unjustified about being afraid of a barbaric religion which exhorts its followers to behead those who don’t believe in that faith, are homosexuals, or Jewish? What is irrational about not wishing them to being allowed into your country and wishing to deport those who are there already?

I would call that basic common sense, an understandable wish to live safely well away from these monsters, indeed an exercise of ones fundamental basic human rights.

Yes, you’re right in asking that sensible, rhetorical question. I guess from their POV we’re irrational because it doesn’t agree with their deranged morality and idiocy for allah. It makes perfect sense in their lost minds that they should have the right to kill and subjugate everyone else for a demon, that’s what they’ve been taught as godly truth. To them we’re the crazy ones. Of course we should want to bow to a filthy demon, and of course we should want to rape kids in forced marriages and sexually mutilate them, and kill gays, and revile Jews because they are worst of “infidels,” and kill apostates, and imprison or murder others for trivial “offenses” against their god and religion! To them immorality is moral, darkness is light, and bigotry and violence is commendable if done for allah. And to top all that insanity they and their leftist helpers have the balls to declare it a “religion of peace!” lol, you can’t make this sh*t up, it’s just too crazy.

You’re right, it’s “basic common sense” that we should wish to live safely from these “monsters.” And it’s moral that we should try to defeat islam as an enemy to our freedoms and national security–by peaceful means if possible, violence if necessary to our defense. Too much is riding on this issue for us to be playing footsie with the muslim devil as the left so readily does. Our nation needs to adopt a no-nonsense attitude against those who have a long history of acting like mass murderers for religion, i.e., muslims. We need to crush their subversion of our society with every legal means at our disposal. Or we will end up just like dhimmi Europe, defeated and demoralized by the literal and figurative rape of our society by muslims.

I find it very insulting to be accused of ‘prejudicism’ because I have studied and understand Islam and the commands of Mohammed in the Qur’on and I read the news that documents the thousands of recent acts of terrorism in the name of Islam. I would ask Muslims if they have any of these afflictions: Buddi-phobia; Christi-phobia; Hindu-phobia; Shinto-phobia; Tao-phobia; Sikhi-phobia? Of course they do – they are all well-defined ‘infidels’.

Look up the definition of “bigot” (while you’re at it, look up “prejudice”, “racist”, you can always learn something). Here’s Google’s definition of “bigot”:
“NOUN – Intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself.” Muslims see their brothers who murdered 3000 people (hoping that they were mostly Americans) attacked our military headquarters, attempted an attack on our seats of government (resulting in the death of 193 innocent citizens) as hero’s. They see “9/11” as a glorious day for Islam. They have tried to build a super mosque at the site of the twin towers. So, I confess – I hold a different opinion of Muslims than they have of themselves, so that qualifies me as a bigot. Google offers several definitions – here’s another: “Bigotry isn’t always a good thing but it’s certainly not always a bad thing. In our day and age of dangerous liberal stupidity, we need bigotry. And we can’t be shy about it. The next time some empty-headed leftist calls you a bigot, lift your head up high, smile, and say, “Yes, yes I am.” https://libertyconservative.com/bigotry-isnt-always-bad…/

If you murder, rape and enslave persons who don’t follow your ideology and so called religion then complain that it’s racist to call you out on your actions or beliefs is hardly racists.

Islamophobia is an attempt to cover up the hate and violence that Islam has brought upon the world.

Phobia is an irrational fear. This is absolutely REAL and CONFIRMED Doctrine of Assassination.

Don’t allow murderers to whitewash their organized under the label of X phobia or Racism.
