Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

France: Interior Minister wants to dissolve ‘anti-Islamophobia’ organization, calls it ‘enemy of the Republic’

Oct 20, 2020 3:00 pm By Robert Spencer 42 Comments

Now this is getting interesting. So far the aftermath of the jihad beheading of Samuel Paty has followed the pattern of other jihad attacks in the West: tears, candlelight vigils, pro-forma condemnations from elected officials accompanied with vows that we will not be “divided,” the whole stupid charade. But if Damanin actually challenges and closes down one of France’s chief organizations pushing the “Islamophobia” smear in order to stymie and silence opposition to jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women, that will be a huge step forward. Expect Damanin to drop this quietly in the coming days. But surprises have happened.

“France beheading: Minister wants to dissolve Islamic NGOs after murder of teacher Samuel Paty, Euronews, October 19, 2020:

France’s interior minister wants to dissolve two Islamic NGOs which he described as “enemies” of the state.

It follows Friday’s beheading of teacher Samuel Paty after he had shown caricatures of Prophet Muhammad in class.

Both NGOs have strenuously denied any wrongdoing.

“I am going to propose the dissolution of CCIF [Collective against Islamophobia in France] and BarakaCity, organisations that are enemies of the Republic,” Gérald Darmanin tweeted.

“We must stop being naive and face the truth: there is no accommodation possible with radical Islamism,” he added.

The minister told the Europe 1 radio station the two NGOs were “obviously involved” in the events that led to the killing of Paty, a history-geography teacher, near the school he worked at in Conflans Saint-Honorine, northwest of Paris.

Both have been accused since Friday of taking part in a social media campaign against the teacher launched by the father of one of his pupils.

In a statement released on Saturday, CCIF admitted it had been contacted by the pupil’s father but denied having harassed Paty.

“This is false and therefore constitutes libel of great abjection,” it said, adding that it had filed a legal complaint against a lawmaker and a journalist who had both made the claim.

CCIF also said that when Paty was killed, it was still verifying information the pupil’s father had provided to determine whether Muslim students had been discriminated against.

BarakaCity said meanwhile that it “has not committed any illegal act that justified dissolution.”

“By harming it and harming its beneficiaries and infrastructures, the government is committing an injustice that will endanger millions of people,” it added. It also indicated that it would file a legal complaint for “abuse of power”.

The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) said in a statement that it is “extremely concerned” by Darmanin’s call to dissolve CCIF and expressed its “strong support” for the organisation….

Like Sweden and Germany, the UK is feeling more and more suicidal.

The more immigrants and races alien to the UK (but now living there) remind Britain of its oh so “wicked” imperial past, the more Britain wants to swallow the poison, (labelled “Drink Me” in Alice in Wonderland.), and so put an end to its “defunct” culture.

FRANCE PR4VD4 – France to dissolve pro-Hamas group involved with French teacher killing

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday the dissolution of a pro-Hamas group active in France, accused of being “directly implicated” in the murder of history and geography teacher Samuel Paty.

Speaking several days after the shocking incident, the French leader said that “actions will be stepped up” against Islamist extremism.

Darmanin is what is best referred to as a Quisling.
Pandering to islam will only make the situation worse.
    Darmanin is if anything,an enemy of freedom of speech if what he is doing undermines freedom of speech and gives power to those who hate free speech{like muslims and communists}
I’m sure the French won’t forget that. They shouldn’t:they had a revolution once and got rid of the despots..

Sorry my mistake!I misread the bit about it being “slamic NGOs”..I applaud any effort to stop islamic NGOs from using the ‘islamophobia’.

It is those who pander to islamic groups that i meant, not those who are trying to defend free speech.
      My apologies to Mr Darmanin.

Yes.That is to be applauded.Sometimes when reading something words are unconsciously chosen;I would expect leftist NGOs to be the ones that keep promoting this ‘islamophobia’ nonsense but when i read he was opposing ‘islamic’ NGOs i realized i had misconstrued what he was doing. So again my apologies to Mr Darmanin who is clearly the opposite of what I had mistakenly written;he appears to be a patriotic Frenchman.

“I am going to propose the dissolution of CCIF [Collective against Islamophobia in France]…~ Gérald Darmanin

I can’t lie here, I do feel at least a tinge of enthusiasm for this apparent change in attitude of at least some in the French government. I don’t follow France closely, but I do notice these glimmers of hope and sanity. I think one could reasonably interpret the above sentiment as meaning that he, and perhaps other politicians, no longer lend credence to the islamophobic myth. This is not only good political strategy in response to a real world crisis, it suggests a growing sensitivity and concern about the dangers of islam and the islamophobic myth that shields it. And that’s exactly what we want to see, responsible and appropriate actions to confront islamic jihad in all its manifestations. Who cares about muslim claims of “injustice” when we shut them down, let that viper writhe and wriggle in pain while we stomp its head. There is no injustice in putting to rest lies and misinformation that protects the guilty and harms the innocent, and that’s what the islamophobia myth does. We want the truth about islam and the terror it creates, and we want it treated like the enemy it is to our national well being and personal safety. No civilized nation should have to live with the terror of islamic ideology that declares all “unbelievers” worthy of death or subjugation. We want wholesome neighborhoods with decent people who don’t serve a demon and “prophet” that advocate murder for religion. Muslims can worship a filthy demon if they want, but not if that demon wants to terrorize the rest of us while muslims actually doing the terrorizing. I don’t think I’m talking unreasonably here. I think the unreasonable ones are those that declare islam to be peaceful when it is blatantly murderous, and who think the rest of us should give up our freedoms and best ideals for those who live for that violent, Nazi-like creed.

I too am both surprised, and pleased with this news, the sane parts of the world have had to many of these vile murders, and just shrugged it of, an example being london mayor saying its just the way it is living in a big city or something close to that. We should not allow hate preachers to stand and advocate extreme views at speakers corner, where they choose violence in reply to anyone in crowd saying anything in opposition. They are the bigots, not us. So I say a cautious Well done France.

When those two office employees smoking outside the old Charlie Hebdo officers were attacked it was Darmanin who said straight away that this was an Islamic attack. There was none of the “searching for a motive …mental issues” nonsense. It seems that he is more aware than most politicians of Islam’s hostile intent.

The hope is that he will before long detect that what he calls “radical Islamism” is the same as basic Islam.

He is acting against “organisations that are enemies of the Republic”. In Islam’s teachings all kafirs are the enemy. This is confirmed by a Saudi government ruling against muslims’ joining kafir Armed Forces, “the kafir is the enemy”.

You can bet, if you were a betting man, that a fatwa has been issued by the grand imam. Turkish style islamic assassinations are on the rise in France. Clinton, hamas and cair got together to discuss how to deal with this problem of refusing to accept a foreign religious government as America’s new national supremacists religion. I believe the group decided that a tenth-grader’s bully tactics would be in order, since that is how clinton sees Americans. The word that was used is “ridicule.” Islamophobia was born! We have our own ominus diabolical ex representatives to thank for our radical religious problems. This problem is not going away any time soon, especially if hide’n Biden gets elected to office.

Islam is backing France into a corner where the nation is increasingly compelled, for the sake of maintaining reasonable security, to reduce basic rights and liberties. A liberal democratic nation tends toward authoritarianism when faced with massive security threats. France cannot survive indefinitely as a liberal democracy with an increasingly large fifth column of violent theocratic authoritarians inside the walls. Will trends in France lead to civil war in the coming decades? Will France, despite some efforts by heroic individuals to resist, gradually succumb to Islam in the next generation or two? Or will France perhaps end up partitioned into two new nations, one non-Muslim, the other Muslim, as a French professor suggested a few years ago? Or will Islam largely be abandoned as modern communications expose it to the light of criticism as Islam has never in history been exposed before? David Wood is just one outstanding example of an army of brave Islam critics who by their online criticisms have induced thousands, perhaps millions of Muslims to abandon Islam. But if that hopeful scenario does not pan out, and the Muslim population in France keeps growing through large families and immigration, will France start to lose non-Muslims increasingly to emigration? Lebanon used to be majority-Christian, did it not? Now it is majority-Muslim, apparently because Christians (like Brigitte Gabriel) were increasingly forced out by jihadist violence, brutality, war, discrimination, and chaos. Lebanon used to be referred to as the “Paris of the Middle East.” No more.

If this is still his opinion in a couple of weeks when this current affair finds itself on the back burner, then fantastic. What is even better is his use of the expression ”enemies of the Republic.” All democracies must be quick to use the expression when it comes face-to-face with Islam and even other ideologies or groups that are slightly less reprehensible. The word ”diversity” belongs on the scrap heap of history because it implies that everything is beautiful. Islam is anything but beautiful.
