Just yesterday I noted that those who hate and try to silence foes of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women want to destroy them utterly, and not even allow them to work in other fields that have nothing to do with Islam, jihad or Sharia. Here now is yet another example. Patrick Boylan is a candidate for a seat on Nevada’s Board of Regents, which governs the state’s public higher education system, including its state universities and college, its four community colleges and Desert Research Institute. Boylan is a former community college computer instructor who has previously served on the Nevada state Board of Education and on the Winchester Town Advisory Board. He was the Chair of the Department of Homeland Security for Vincennes University in Indiana in 2005.
Despite those qualifications, however, the Las Vegas Sun has judged him “wholly unfit” to serve on the Board of Regents, not because of any lack of qualifications for that actual job, but because “his Twitter feed is a swamp of anti-Muslim tweets.” What does that have to do with helping to run Nevada’s educational system? Why, nothing at all, nothing whatsoever, but in America today, you cannot say something that the media regards as “anti-Muslim,” even a true and accurate statement of opposition to jihad terror, and be considered eligible or qualified to do anything in any field.
You can see the email exchange below between Ric Anderson of the Sun and Boylan. One thing Anderson found on Boylan’s Twitter sounds truly damning: Boylan “commenting ‘Should be fun, moving targets’ on a story about the mayor of Venice vowing to shoot Muslims.” That sounds terrible until a moment’s research reveals that the Venice mayor was talking about Muslims who were screaming “Allahu akbar” and running through St. Mark’s Square intending the jihad murder of innocent people. As Boylan wrote to me, “I would never call for any harm against any innocent, it is Islam my focus is on, as you know there are muslims who do not follow the teachings of islam, similar to many adherents of other religions.”
Indeed. Boylan explains to Anderson that “there is a big difference between Islam and its adherents muslims,” and acknowledges that he was engaging in hyperbole and “dark comedy.” However, note that a week after their email exchange, the Las Vegas Sun published a report attacking Boylan for “malicious racism” (what race is jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women, gays and others again? I keep forgetting). The Sun’s report doesn’t devote even a word to Boylan’s explanations for what he wrote on Twitter; it’s as if he never answered Anderson at all.
This is just another in a blizzard of examples of how viciously unfair the establishment media is to those who dare to note how jihad terrorists use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and make recruits among peaceful Muslims.
It says here that Ric Anderson has written for the Qatar-funded, wholly compromised Brookings Institution. What a surprise.
Ric Anderson to Patrick Boylan, September 30, 2020:
Mr. Boylan, in preparation for presenting our endorsements for the general election, we came across a number of what appear to be anti-Muslim tweets on your Twitter feed. Among them: Calling for Islam to be banned “the way Nazism was banned,” referring to Muslims as “muzslime” and commenting “Should be fun, moving targets” on a story about the mayor of Venice vowing to shoot Muslims.
Do you deny posting these tweets and similar ones? If you do deny posting them, how do you explain their presence on your Twitter feed? And finally, if you do take ownership of them, can you explain your rationale for making these posts?
Thank you. I’ll hope to hear a response from you. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact via a response to this message or at the numbers listed below.

Patrick Boylan to Ric Anderson, September 30, 2020:
Mr. Anderson
Thank you for your inquiry’ I do not deny posting any of the things you quoted, but none of the things I wrote are “anti-muslim” but the truth about Islam, sir there is a big difference between Islam and its adherents muslims
Are you wanting the best candidate for education or are you using your preconceived ideas about Islam to judge me. Have you read the koran? have you lived in a muslim country before? I didn’t think so.
If you wanted to study Communism you would study the Communist Manifesto, to know about Nazism you would study Hitler’s Mein Kampf, about Christianity, the Bible etc etc. So why have you not read the koran Mr Anderson before you and others decide to hide behind political correctness and fear about the truth.
Somethings I wrote or said were childish, maybe dark comedy tragically, some things were used to keep my posts from being “tagged” by social media justice warriors, but my viewpoints about Islam remain the same, it is a dangerous political/social/military violent non-religion.
Of course I would like to be endorsed by you, but not at the expense of my convictions and knowledge.
Thank you for reading so far – if you have further questions please get in touch, please also look in the RJ sometime in May 2004 about my interview with their reporter and then a follow up Editorial about the same time (I am sure your search capabilities vis-a-vis other newspapers is more powerful than mine).
Also please don’t fool yourself about the “peacefulness of Islam” read Koran – 8:12 Your [Muhammad’s] Lord revealed to the angels: “I am with you: give the believers firmness; I shall put terror into the hearts of the disbelievers. Strike above their necks and strike their fingertips.”
From the horse’s mouth sir, one of the hundreds in the koran
Happy reading

Candidate Board of Regents District 5
“Our endorsements: The Sun offers its choices for regents, state Board of Education, Clark County Commission and Clark County School Board races,” Las Vegas Sun, October 6, 2020:
Regent 5
Patrick Boylan
Nick “Doc” SpirtosThis is a race that points out the absolute need for voters to support Question 1. Boylan and Spirtos are two wholly unfit candidates offering a choice that is no choice. Spirtos’ disqualifying attributes include opposing the plan for a new building for the UNLV School of Medicine, which is critically needed in Southern Nevada. As for Boylan, his Twitter feed is a swamp of anti-Muslim tweets. Samples include calling for Islam to be banned “the way Nazism was banned,” referring to Muslims as “muzslime” and commenting “Should be fun, moving targets” on a story about the mayor of Venice vowing to shoot Muslims. This is not someone who should be voting on the interests of a richly diverse university community in Nevada, nor is Spirtos. We urge voters not to select either of them. Yet one of them will win and will be on the board, as Nevada doesn’t allow for write-in candidates. That’s a travesty, and it screams for the need to pass Question 1. So in this race, it’s a choice between complete unfitness or malicious racism — voters deserve better.

Message to The Sun: “IT’S THE IDEOLOGY, STUPID!’
Jihad is an ‘essential’ doctrine of Islam … to you uninformed religious illiterates, that means that jihad is ‘essential for Islamic salvation’. A Muslim who DOES NOT conduct jihad in any way will GO TO HELL.
I hope I have cleared that up for you.

Of course I would like to be endorsed by you, but not at the expense of my convictions and knowledge. Candidate Boylan
The first thing I’d like to say is, bless candidate Boylan and his honest speaking views. It’s good to see at least some in politics aren’t afraid to speak the truth about islam. His truthful convictions and knowledge about islam is exactly what the world needs right now for our salvation from demon allah. And the response by the mainstream media and appeasers is always the same, isn’t it? they conflate racism with islamic ideology and that’s a lie. We never get fair and balanced reporting about those who speak against islamic jihad, just lies and hyperbole for defaming good people who don’t mince words for an evil religion. Referring to muslims as “muzslime” may sound needlessly mean, but in the context of all the “islamophobia” and racist slander we get I feel it’s an equitable response. I am a “kafir,” an “infidel,” and “unbeliever” worthy of death or subjugation in a world of terror for islam. In that context should I be concerned if candidate Boylan describes muslims as “muzslime”? I think not. I gotta a bold suggestion for muslims, stop terrorizing and mass murdering humanity for your demon and then expect a greater show of respect among your stated enemies. We are under no obligation to curtsy and bow to people who dedicate their lives to a violent ideology that terrorizes our lives and diminishes our freedoms. If muslims get any negative feedback from non-muslims then they deserve it for the supremacist aggression they bring. They are responsible for this sad state of affairs the world is in for islam, and I think calling muslims childish names is probably the nicest response any violent supremacists could hope to get.

……………..
Just appalling–how is opposing JIhad violence “racism”? Islam is not a race.
James Lincoln says
gravenimage,
The Las Vegas Sun needs to be asked flat out:
1. What “race” is islam?
2. Are there people of a certain race that are prohibited from becoming a muslim?

I salute Boylan from the bottom of my soul for his courage and conviction.

The owner of this newspaper is the Greenspun Family…original editor Hank Greenspun was/is close friends with the Clintons (was once a room mate of Bill) ….he was actually a guest of theirs during their reign over the US….his son now runs the paper. Beyond the unfair treatment this man is receiving, this article shows just a bit of the incest that goes on between bigoted leftists and the constant attempts to shut out people who don’t think totalitarian, the way they do. It is also an example of the way Democrats are using Muslims to gain power….Muslims may think socialists value them and their ideals, but as soon as Muslims are no longer useful to them politically, they will be thrown under the bus with the rest of the “useful idiots”.
