All too many people in the West who should be defending the freedom of speech are instead heeding that threat, which will only bring on more threats. As Charb said, it is better to die standing up than to live on one’s knees.
“The beheading is hailed as a heroic deed: ‘A warning to all critics of Islam,'” translated from “Halshuggningen hyllas som hjältedåd: ‘En varning till alla islamkritiker,'” Samhällsnytt, October 17, 2020 (thanks to Marvin)
After Friday’s terrorist execution in Paris on Friday, where a teacher was beheaded in the open street after teaching students about free speech with the well-known Muhammad cartoons as an example, tributes to the Muslim terrorist are pouring in on social media. Samhällsnytt has compiled a number of the comments.
It was at 5.30pm on Friday that 18-year-old Abdulak Anzorov, a Muslim migrant born in Moscow with a Chechen background, in the name of Allah deprived teacher Samuel Paty of his life in the suburb of Conflans-Saint-Honorine outside Paris in France.
Abdulak immigrated to France with his family in 2008, and this year received a ten-year residence permit. He is suspected of having been called to act through a radical mosque in the country. The mosque is said to have shared information that pointed out the teacher for having shown the Muhammad caricatures that the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo had previously published.
The terrorist’s beheading is praised by many
In contrast to President Macron’s attempts to reassure the country with words that France is united and that the terrorist attack “can not divide France”, there are plenty of comments showing how Muslims praise the terrorist as a “hero” and warn other critics of Islam that more blood will be shed if one mocks their Prophet Muhammad or the Koran.
Below are a number of comments posted on the Arab television channel Al Jazeera’s Facebook page. Similar comments can also be read on, for example, France24’s Arabic channel.
Sociologist: “Increase in young people who justify religious violence”
The tributes in the comment fields confirm the results of the surveys conducted in France, which show that the country is deeply divided and segregated, where fundamentalist and pro-violence ideas are widespread among a growing part of the population. Samhällsnytt has previously drawn attention to how, among other things, the French sociologist Olivier Galland warned of increased radicalization in Europe, especially among younger Muslims.
Following the terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015, Galland conducted a survey of 7,000 Muslims in four different regions of France. It showed that 20 percent of Muslims believe that religious violence is justified. In some schools, more than 40 percent of the Muslim students who responded to the survey had a radical view of their faith.
“A message and warning to all critics of Islam”
It is not only in foreign news outlets that warnings are directed at critics of Islam. On Samhällsnytt’s Facebook account, a Muslim has commented on our article about the terrorist act by saying that it should be seen as “a message and a warning to all critics and haters of Islam that the Prophet Muhammad and the holy book the Koran are not toys”.

Heroic!? Those morons wouldn’t recognise the concept of heroism if it were to rear up and bite them on their collective arse!
FYI says
Speaking of heroic, guess who would not qualify as a Shaheed,an islamic martyr?
Yes that’s right ,the ‘prophet’ muhammed.
mo’s greatest wish was to be martyred in his god allah’s cause and be resurrected and martyred again and again.Unfortunately allah doesn’t subscribe to reincarnation.
Sahih Bukhari 2797
But allah wouldn’t satisfy mo’s greatest wish.mo’s death was so un-heroic.
Instead muhammed died after eating poisoned meat cooked by a Jewish woman whose family he had massacred crying ‘ my AORTA IS CUT'{Sahih Bukhari 4428} a statement which according to allah’s defintion of who qualifies as a FALSE PROPHET{koran 69:44-46}can ONLY come from someone who suspected or knew he was a FALSE PROPHET.
And he KNEW the meat was poisoned thus showing us that mo was 1]the architect of his own misfortune 2] a moron{who eats meat they KNOW is poisoned? )and 3]it was the will of allah.
“No calamity befalleth save by allah’s leave”
koran 64:11
Calamity mo.

How about a few ‘heroic’beheadings of muslims preaching their ‘offensive to Christians’ bile Time to expose this so called ‘religion’ for the crime against humanity it is.Teach the masses all it stands for warts n all. Then perhaps the loony lefties just might come to their senses including our pathetic ‘leaders’
Chrissie01 says
given the great respect Muslims have for other religions, it is amazing how they always claim it from others for theirs

Considering that Islam is the religion of peace, this celebration of death is completely unpredictable – high voltage cognitive and spiritual dissonance.
Unless Islam is not the religion of peace.
This calls for more dialogue to try to understand a solidly consistent 1400 years of Muslims misunderstanding their own religion.

These inbred morons are correct when they say, “Prophet Muhammad and the holy book the Koran are not toys.” The pedophilic monster and his Qur’an are nothing more than defecation to be flushed down the toilet.

Every action has a reaction when you will defame a personality who is followed by billions of ppl across the world so then don’t expect flowers in response.— Rohail Khan
That might be true. But it’s also true that the lack of action can be even worse. By ignoring the political aggression of islam and the murderous bigotry within we “defame” every victim of islamic jihad and jeopardize our freedoms and safety. Your appeal to cause and effect as some kind of justification for the murder of a teacher is neither moral or just, especially when it’s for a frivolous reason like a cartoon. You can disagree with that, but that doesn’t make you right in your opinion. Such acts of murder are on the level of killing someone for a mere glance or an inadvertent body bump, none of which justifies taking a human life. Of course I know that you’re too retarded to know all this, but perhaps some of your islamic brethren can grasp my meaning.

My response to Mahtab Khan,
Right of freedom of speech and expression can’t be absolute. It can’t be just like crazy elephant or wild animals. It must have some reasonable restrictions. ~Khan.
Okay, you want “reasonable restrictions.” Let me ask, when the muslim god threatens “unbelievers” with murder and terror in the koran, is that reasonable speech? Was there ever a time when that was “reasonable”? You seem to be arguing in defense of islam on behalf of this murderer, but is that reasonable free speech to the victim’s family when their loved one was killed over a cartoon? You seem to me like a fool standing in a pile of shit complaining about every one else’s stink.
People need to learn to respect other beliefs and sentiments.~Kahn
Well that I might agree with, but only if those sentiments don’t include bigotry and murder for religion, and clearly that’s something islamic doctrines do. You want there to be more sensitivity toward other’s “beliefs” but place no responsibility whatsoever on those beliefs to be fair, or kind, or loving, or socially responsible. It isn’t enough to say you want more respect for “beliefs” but then ignore the content of islam’s beliefs which are themselves totally disrespectful toward the beliefs of others. Islam as a religious ideology has no respect for the beliefs of others, so I find the context of your argument to be astonishingly ironic.
Mahtab Khan to me is your typical small brained fool for islam, can’t see his own stupidity, and is totally incapable of caring about the other person’s POV. In short, he’s a fool.

The cartoon of a naked mohammed on his hands and knees is disgusting and beyond insulting. I suggest that any right thinking person would find it so. It certainly pushes at the boundary of Freedom of Speech (expression). If in charge, I certainly would have reprimanded the teacher severely. He certainly meant to shock and offend and went to the extreme to do so.
Such a reprimand should have been the end of it.
Unfortunately, many muslims insist on applying Sharia Law and are intent on terrorizing the rest of us into complying with it. Simply unacceptable.

I’m curious to know, do you think the hateful and murderous words of muhammad and allah “push the boundary of free speech”? Do you think that when an imam holds up those teachings as the divine word of god to be followed is pushing the boundary of free speech? And if you answer “yes” to those questions, do you think it reasonable to expects others to give one shit about pushing the boundary of free speech when discussing or parodying islam? What is it that you find so admirable about muhammad or allah that you can’t bear the thought of depicting him nude with his balls hanging out? Who cares? he was thug, a murderer, a religious fraud, a robber, a torturer, and a child abuser. Of all the gin joints to lay bare your cartoon sensitivities, you gotta do it for one of the worst characters and gods in history. Sorry, but I don’t get you at all.

Total non sequitur.
I don’t criticize the cartoon because it’s of mohammed. It could be depicting Li’l Abner for all I care.
It’s still a filthy piece of garbage. That’s all.

Rarely,
Okay, fair enough, you’re one of those folks that can’t bear seeing a cartoon of a naked killer. You are obviously more highly evolved than I am in regard to cartoons that display nakedness. And you are certainly entitled to maintain that HIGH level of mental purity. It’s just that I find your indignancy over this cartoon out of place and too sympathetic toward this muslim terrorist. Your prudish and puritanical attitude is a pat on the back of every islamist that feels the same way, even if you don’t agree with the murder it’s supposed to have caused. The fact that you find the cartoon so shocking and offensive (you must really lead a sheltered and pure life) is itself an indication that you don’t fully appreciate the importance of free expression as it pertains to islam. Cuz if you did you would never have wasted a single syllable pointing it out. Your personal feelings of disgust shows an inordinate amount of concern for cartoon etiquette at a time when murder for religion should be the only concern worth mentioning. This teacher was killed over a cartoon that he was using for instructing his class, but you choose this time–of all times–to speak your outrage about “offensive” cartoons. Which to me is revealing, in light of the fact you never expressed one word of sympathy for the victim but had no problem sharing the outrage feelings of the killer. And to me that sounds too much like defending the killer and islam. Anyway, forget it. I’m a bit off the rails today. Let’s not be enemies over this. I’m not saying you’re bad for saying it, I just don’t agree with it. Thanks. 🙂

Such a reprimand should have been the end of it.” It’s been reported that the teacher in question told students he intended to show something shocking, those students that might be offended should ( i’m guessing could) leave the classroom. After you reprimanded the teacher, suppose the teacher decided to show something else just as shocking, and did, what would you do then?

I suggest that anyone who would use that cartoon to demonstrate a point in a class of 13 year-olds has a problem.
Penalty? It’s very disgusting, inappropriate, insulting, etc. BUT it’s still pretty minor. Maybe a weekend suspension and a severe beating with a wet noodle. Seriously, he showed very bad judgement and if he persisted in doing so he may have to be fired.
But not because it was a picture of mohammed.

Would you advise those moslems alleging being offended, “it’s still pretty minor”?

I don’t care about those muslims who were offended. They’d be offended if their vegetable soup “accidently” spelt “allah”. Everything offends them, they often then get outraged and act like a pack of rabid dogs.
I’m only saying that it’s a disgusting cartoon which illustrates nothing of value. Charlie Hebdo took similar swats at Christianity and Judaism as well — all too often in pretty bad taste.

Using this filthy cartoon in a class of 13 year-olds to demonstrate anything is, in my view, very inappropriate and worthy of some criticism and perhaps a minor punishment. It most clearly doesn’t justify murder except to the very depraved.

“But not because it was a picture of mohammed.” Paty was beheaded because the cartoon was of mohammed. No?

Jews and Christians are not beheading teachers or slaughtering cartoonists, as Rarely knows full well–only Muslims.
That much of Charlie Hebdo’s humor is in bad taste is immaterial, unless you are thinking about taking out a subscription yourself.
The only real question is, do people have the right to criticize religion or any other creed without being murdered? In a civilized society, they do. And yes–high school students are indeed capable of understanding the concept of freedom of speech. I I know I was as a student.

You would have reprimanded *the teacher*–no mention of the *numerous* Muslims threatening him with death.
And France actually does teach freedom of speech in the schools–this was not just some random “filthy Infidel” insulting the “best of peoples”.
More:
Unfortunately, many muslims insist on applying Sharia Law and are intent on terrorizing the rest of us into complying with it. Simply unacceptable.

How does Rarely consider this “unacceptable”, considering his demands in this same post that the French prevent any criticism of the “Prophet” Muhammed themselves?
I also note that Rarely says *nothing* here about the massacre of Charlie Hebdo cartoons–or does he think that France needs to shut them down, too?
And his implication that Muslims would have been fine with this if only the Infidels didn’t show the offending cartoon is of course *quite* mistaken:
“France: Muslim students cheer burning of French flags in response to Muhammad cartoons”

Other teachers have been threatened for championing freedom of speech–even those who didn’t dare show the cartoons.

I’m afraid you completely misunderstand what I’ve written. Kindly check my above comments.
In no way am I defending the reaction of many muslims to the Charlie Hebdo cartoon. I totally condemn the murders at CH and of this teacher. Utterly barbaric and unjustifiable in any civilized society. Applauding these murders is simply disgusting.
Am I being clearer now?

Of course the jihad- minded Muslims would praise that Muslim who murdered the French school teacher .
Nevertheless the French ,justifiably shot dread that dangerous murderer who ,no doubt , because of his religion was too irrational to surrender to the police but continued in his violent actions that posed a danger to the public. therefore the police had to ,with good reason , stopped him by using deadly force
This type situation of those who Muslims praised that murderous villain and the police who stopped him is well described in the Bible . Which informs its reader that “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked but the such who keep the law contend with them.” Proverbs 28:4. [N.K.J.V.]

What I understood from reading some psychology is that narcissists exist with self-grandiosity (recognize this with ME!! and MY PHROPHET!!) while they lack empathy to others.
Because of this grandiose image of the self, this enormous self gets hurt also very big, and this might lead to a very strong reaction without any empathy; a deadly reaction even.
These types fall in the anti-social part of human types.
I figure, that Islam seems a good way to breed a lot of these types, like the Hitler Jugend once did.
Unless you have a very fearful or strong authoritarian father figure, that keeps control over these dangerous types, like the prison director, Assad or Sadam, you get a problem: the Arab Spring and ISIS.

The usual thuggish, bullying Muslim approach to life. Islam is a load of barbaric crap and, therefore, it can only be defended by trying to terrorise any people who point out what a load of barbaric, primitive and evil garbage it truly is. Islam is pathetic. Maybe also they do know what a murderous, child raping piece of crap Muhammad was, a really low example of a human being, and so they can’t possibly let anyone make a mocking cartoon of the lowlife “prophet”.

Let’s look at some of these hideous posts on Al Jazeera’s Facebook page, shall we?
One calls Islam the “only true religion of peace”, while lauding this beheading.
Another considers freedom of speech and “freedom” to behead someone as equivalent.
Another calls anyone who defends freedom of speech a “white supremacist”. Another says that any criticism of Islam is “racist”–even though Islam is not a race.
Another says this is what happens when you mock people’s religious figures–despite the fact that Jews and Christians and those of other faiths are not slaughtering critics–just Muslims.
Several call the victim a terrorist.
More proof that Islam does not belong in the civilized world.
And apparently Al Jazeera is fine with comments threatening murderous violence.

i would respond that freedom is not a toy, either, and that pious muslims who go after it will eventually be met with force. i’m certain that it will take a civil war in france to rectify the situation, but there *are* patriots in france who will eventually have their eyes opened by the consistent behavior of the pious ummah and lose patience with the tools running french government. they may not succeed in driving off the ummah, but just statistically, it is guaranteed that there are patriots who fill fight. i pray that they succeed, and pray even more that a civil war will not be necessary.
