Khan says that “by attacking Islam, clearly without having any understanding of it, President Macron has attacked and hurt the sentiments of millions of Muslims in Europe and across the world, The last thing the world wants or needs is further polarisation. Public statements based on ignorance will create more hate, Islamophobia and space for extremists.”
As I have noted many times, for Islamic supremacists, any resistance to jihad violence, no matter how mild, is “Islamophobia” and “hate,” and an attempt to “provoke” Muslims. Those who tut-tut over the Muhammad cartoons and counsel surrender to violent intimidation fail to take this into account: if you stop whatever it is that supposedly provokes jihadis, there will not be peace. They’ll just find something else that provokes them, and that you’ll therefore have to give up forthwith.
“PM Imran denounces French president’s ‘encouragement of Islamophobia,'” Dawn, October 25, 2020:
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday denounced what he called was “encouragement of Islamophobia” by French President Emmanuel Macron, saying the European leader had chosen to “deliberately provoke” Muslims, including his own citizens.
In a series of tweets, the premier said that the sign of a leader was that he united people, like former South African president Nelson Mandela. “This is a time when President Macron could have put [a] healing touch and denied space to extremists rather than creating further polarisation and marginalisation that inevitably leads to radicalisation,” he said.
The premier regretted that the French president had instead chosen to encourage Islamophobia by “attacking Islam rather than the terrorists who carry out violence, be it Muslims, White Supremacists or Nazi ideologists”.
He was referring to comments made on Wednesday by President Macron in which he criticised Islamists and vowed not to “give up cartoons” depicting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He also contended that Samuel Paty — a teacher who was beheaded last month for showing sketches of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) — was “killed because Islamists want our future”.
Prime Minister Imran said that “by attacking Islam, clearly without having any understanding of it, President Macron has attacked and hurt the sentiments of millions of Muslims in Europe and across the world”.
“The last thing the world wants or needs is further polarisation. Public statements based on ignorance will create more hate, Islamophobia and space for extremists,” he added.
PTI ministers also denounced Macron’s remarks on Twitter. Planning Minister Asad Umar said that freedom of expression was not without limits, pointing out that 16 European countries criminalise denial of the Jewish holocaust. He also observed that it was a criminal offence to insult the monarch in the United Kingdom.
“Allowing people free reign to insult the Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) under the garb of freedom of expression while protecting institutions and history sacrosanct to other religious beliefs and national symbols is pure hypocrisy and condemnable,” he said….

Macron will be under tons of pressure to protect secularism, and not give an inch to Islam. If he does weaken, then there is someone waiting round the corner who will relish the job:

I suppose, given France has the largest muslm population (though greatly exaggerated), that it would happen there. But things are warming up nicely now. I fancy the French population are going to be less and less accommodating to any demands from Islam in the future.

Macron is very calculating politician . He is doing this as a last ditch effort to fend off Marie Lepenn who is going to replace him if Macron does not act decisively.

Whatever the political strategy of Macron, it is a welcome development that he has begun to admit that jihad is Islamic.
Before, he said many times, ‘Nothing to do with Islam.’
The French must fund counterjihad writers so that Muslims worldwide may be deprogrammed. The French have the rationalistic intellectual tradition to accomplish this hard task.

When have Muslims ever been “deprogrammed” against their will?

And? What’s more important that he finally dows something to tackle the issue or that LePen’s path to power won’t be endangered?

No, dear. It is not “further polarisation and marginalisation that inevitably leads to radicalisation”.
The UK government defines radicalisation as the process of coming to espouse violence.
It is not this abstract “radicalisation” that encourages violence: it is the teachings of Islam in the mosques.
“Violence is the heart of Islam”, said Ayatollah Yazdi.
“Kill them wherever you find them”, says Koran 2:191.
It does say “Kill”: it does not say “Kiss”.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan asks Facebook for stricter rules against Islamophobia
Pakistani Prime Minister and former cricketer, Imran Khan, has written an open letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg asking for a ban on Islamophobic content on Facebook. The Prime Minister said that Facebook should clamp down on Islamophobia as hard as it does with Holocaust denial.
As things stand right now, Facebook does include Islamophobia as hate speech and is against the platform’s community standards, however, Khan highlighted that cartoons had been allowed to be posted on Facebook without repercussions despite being viewed as blasphemous in Islam – Khan called it Islamophobic.
https://twitter.com/ImranKhanPTI/status/1320440661385093121
In his letter, Prime Minister Khan said:
“Dear Mr. Zuckerberg, I am writing to draw your attention to the growing Islamophobia that is encouraging hate, extremism and violence across the world and especially through the use of social media platforms including Facebook. … The message of hate must be banned in total.”
The Pakistani government has been focused a lot on social media in the last several weeks. Earlier in the week, the government reversed its TikTok ban after initially raising concerns about “immoral” content. The block was lifted after the Chinese firm gave assurance to Pakistan’s government that it would ban immoral content. While Khan didn’t mention blocking Facebook if it did not act, there is precedence for a future ban.

“The message of hate must be banned in total”, says Khan.
Oh yes?
That, of course, includes Koran 60:4:
“…between us and you enmity and hatred forever”.
“You should hate them, disown them and their religion” – Alminbar
“As a Muslim I must have hatred for everything non-Islam” – Anjem Choudary

mortimer says
Islam’s message of hate ‘AL WALAA WAL BARAA’ will not be banned in Pakistan.
60% of the Koran is a message of hate and warfare against the Kafir.
For Muslims to criticize ‘Islamophobia’ is hypocritical psychological projection, for Islam clearly does have an OFFICIAL, COMPULSORY doctrine of hatred.

Martin, I notice that Khan misspelled a word.
His letter should have read. “the growing Islam that is encouraging hate, extremism and violence across the world”.
Amazing how a sentence can have it’s entire meaning changed from one misspelt word.

moslims don’t have to be ‘provoked’ for them to commit acts of terror, murder people, rape women and little children or generally make trouble for others.
This is what they do…what they are taught to do, think they have the right to do and won’t stop even if everyone else just kept their mouth shut and their head lowered.
satan understands **strength** and his children are a little less likely to do everything they want to when they see strength in others.
With all of the criticism Macron is getting from moslims, he should know he’s on the right track.
somehistory says
moslims want to dominate, commit murder, rape, theft, lie like the cheap rugs they prey on and insist that everyone else just put up with it all and keep any criticism inside, out of the expressions on faces, and pretend everything is great.
The whole of islam is filth and demonism…worship of mankind’s evil enemy, satan the devil. satan wants us all to remain silent about him and his plans for mankind; his children carry out his orders to see that we all comply or die.
