Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Pakistan’s Khan ‘pleased’ with country’s reelection to UN Human Rights Council, vows fight against ‘Islamophobia’

Oct 16, 2020 3:00 pm By Robert Spencer 34 Comments

Pakistan’s presence on the UN Human Rights Council only illustrates yet again what a cruel joke the UN really is. Pakistan has an abysmal human rights record. Morning Star News reported on October 6 that “Pakistan ranked fifth on Christian support organization Open Doors 2020 World Watch list of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian, and on Nov. 28, 2018, the United States added Pakistan to its blacklist of countries that violate religious freedom.” Hindus and other religious minorities fare no better.

Note also that Khan is going to focus on Jammu and Kashmir, again trying to erode India’s legitimate right to the territory, and upon “Islamophobia.” “Islamophobia” is a propaganda term that is used for two unrelated phenomena: vigilante attacks against innocent Muslims, which are never justified, and honest analysis of the motivating ideology behind jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women and others. The goal of this conflation is to inhibit such analysis and intimidate people into thinking it’s wrong to oppose jihad terror. And it’s working great.

“PM Imran ‘pleased’ with Pakistan’s re-election to HRC, says will continue to speak against Islamophobia,” Dawn, October 14, 2020 (thanks to Lookmann):

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said he was “pleased” over Pakistan’s re-election to the United Nations Human Rights Council for a fifth time and vowed that the country would continue to raise its voice “against Islamophobia and in support of mutual respect”.

Pakistan has been elected to the UN body for a three-year term.

In a series of tweets, the premier said that Pakistan was committed to uphold human rights for all and would work towards “advancement of tolerance and constructive engagement”. He said that as an HRC member, Pakistan will also continue to “expose” the human rights violations by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

The prime minister further said that Pakistan will continue its efforts towards consensus building and ensuring that HRC’s work is “guided by principles of universality, impartiality, dialogue and cooperation”.

PM Imran also lauded the efforts made by the Foreign Office and Pakistan’s overseas missions that led to “yet another diplomatic achievement”. He said that the efforts of FO and overseas Pakistani missions have “enhanc(ed) Pakistan’s profile and recognition on the international stage”.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had said that Pakistan’s re-election to the HRC has provided a unique opportunity for highlighting the Kashmir issue.

Speaking to the media, the foreign minister said that there was a communications blockade in the occupied valley while independent observes don’t have access to the region. “So, this is a forum that can become the voice [of the Kashmiris].”

Asked about Pakistan’s priorities as a member of the UN body, Qureshi said that there should be four priorities; the Kashmir issue, the rise of Islamophobia, “Muslim causes” and human rights….

In an earlier statement carried by Radio Pakistan, the minister had termed Pakistan’s re-election an “important diplomatic achievement”. He said that Pakistan was supported by every region in its re-election while influential and important countries had also backed the country’s bid.

He added that the vote vouched for Pakistan’s performance in the council over the past three years, adding that the country’s role was now being recognised by the world. Qureshi said human rights violations were increasing in occupied Kashmir and becoming a part of the UN body at this critical juncture was a big achievement, the report said.

In a tweet late night on Tuesday, the foreign minister said the re-election was “a manifestation of the international community’s confidence and trust in Pakistan’s commitment to a progressive national & global human rights agenda.”…

      THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS THE RIGHT TO OFFEND—TO BE CONTROVERSIAL and say things someone does not like to hear.

      It may be argued that the source of Western freedom of speech is the right to dissent and disagree with established religion. Europeans and Americans have fought for the freedom of expression and freedom to criticize a state-run religion and to dissent from it and openly express our disagreement without fear of punishment.

      Pakistan’s bigoted fanatics want to remove the right to criticize Islam entirely.

        @Eduardo odraude

        That is good.
        It is usually by accident of birth that one happens to be muslim:it is islam and what it teaches that is the problem.
        The koran is an instruction manual to do evil.And you cannot possibly follow the sunnah of muhammed and be a morally good ,decent human being.

        It is not easy to leave islam but it is really impressive to do so.
        Comparing ex-muslims{classified in islam as the ‘murtads’} with muslim apologists one sees the former to be more moral and decent than the vile specimens that constitute the latter.

        I have no time or sympathy for converts to islam.
        Let them reap what they sow.
        All the evidence available,from the internet,from ex-muslims,from studying the koran and hadith etc shows that one should stay away from this cult.

        islam has an APARTHEID system{koran 98:6}that refers to non-muslims as ‘the WORST of created beings’,a Doctrine of HATE{al walaa wal baraa}
        no concept of ‘love thy neighbor'{since he is an inferior infidel},no respect for other religions, no Golden Rule,no respect for freedom of thought or the right to be an ‘apostate’.

        {Many muslims don’t actually know all this as their imams and ‘scholars’ LIE to them}

        The internet is islam’s Nemesis:you cannot hide the lies of this cult.

        The koran is a demonstrably false scripture,muhmmed is the most obvious false prophet in history and allah cannot possibly be the Biblical God.

      eduardo odraude,

      Thank you for this post. I was most impressed by the first letter. Too many of us do not know “why we believe what we believe.” We are born into a certain belief system and for the most part, simply accept it as true.

        curious george, I have always tried to evaluate what is good and bad in my own society and that of others. Perhaps this is because I was born into the underclass, and realized early on that a lot of the norms in the subculture were anything but healthy.

        I think you are right that may people, for good or ill, simply accept everything they were taught as children. With Islam this is obviously a disaster.

    This shows that the nations are being ruled by evil. Just about 2,000 years ago, satan the devil promised “all the kingdoms” to Jesus Christ if Jesus would do one “act of worship” to the devil.

    Jesus refused, but did not deny that satan had the “kingdoms” under his power and control. The devil still has control and power today and this determining that one of the worst possible governments in the matter of “rights,” is being given such a position of deciding things regarding “rights” is certain proof.

    Already, Pakistan murders Christians when a moslim accuses the Christian of insulting them or their filthy book or their fake and evil ‘prophet.’ Already people are jailed and tortured to death for not bowing to the evil beast of islam in Pakistan. Already, the government of Pakistan dictates to fb that anyone who tells the truth about islam must be silenced because these “anyones” are violating the laws of Pakistan.
    When they have the ‘power’ to decide this issue of the ‘phobia’ of islam they rave so about, one does not have to imagine very hard what they will do with that power.
    The power behind the U.N. is satan the devil and he is giving more of it to moslim countries that are fervently doing his bidding and following his evil example.

    I would like an description of what exactly would constitute islamophoba. What is it that would lead so many people around the world to the point of what some call islamophobia? Define it and refute it. I will help them out in this. A phobia is an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something. Many so labeled islamophobes are in the extreme aversion category not the irrational fear category.

      tgusa,

      You are correct, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.

      According to Merriam-Webster:

      Definition of phobia

      1. an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation

      2: intolerance or aversion

        You are welcome James Lincoln. The fact is that they will call for the death of anyone who has an aversion to their ideology. They will even call for the deaths of muslims that develop an aversion to the ideology and leave islam. It seems to me that type of thinking is worthy of extreme aversion. Of course there are lots of other reasons, to many to list, for people to have an extreme aversion to islamic culture and traditions. No one else put together their ideology that is all on them.

    Here is the ‘prophet’ of islam from islamic sources.

    {And especially for Pakistan..}

    muhammed the pedophile:Sahih Bukhari 5:58:236/musnad ahmad 16245{pedos do this}
    muhammed the self-confessed false prophet:Al Tabari 6:111
    muhammed the self-confessed terrorist;Sahih Bukhari 4:52:220
    muhammed the polygamist:Sahih Bukhari 1:5:268
    muhmammed the cross dresser:Sahih Bukhari 54:7:2442
    muhammed’s incredible Charles Atlas physique:Abu Dawud 40:4731

    It’s not politically correct but according to islamic sources…

    muhammed was a fat,cross-dressing,polygamous,pederast, self confessed false prophet and terrorist midget.

    muslims:Is this “islamophobia”?
    No,these are islamic sources.
    These are YOUR own sources and fiddling the Arabic won’t work.
    You cannot deny your own sources without denying your islam.

    Q How did perfect mo get from mecca to Jerusalem?{koran 17.1}
    A On a magical flying donkey with a woman’s face and a peacock tail called buraq

    muslims:Is muhammed being ridiculed here?
    No,because the only way mo got to Jerusalem was via a magical flying donkey with a woman’s face and a peacock tail called buraq

    If you deny that, then you cannot explain how mo got to Jerusalem from mecca.
    You must accept it as a fact.

    Perfect mo: a fat cross-dressing polygamous nonce who flew around up in the clouds on a magical donkey with a woman’s face.
