Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Pope Condemns Death Penalty While Praising Pro-Death Penalty Imam

Oct 9, 2020 5:00 pm By Robert Spencer 51 Comments

My latest in PJ Media:

In his new encyclical Fratelli Tutti, the Woke Pope casts aside 2,000 years of unbroken tradition and declares: “Today we state clearly that ‘the death penalty is inadmissible’ and the Church is firmly committed to calling for its abolition worldwide.” That’s just great, but there’s one little catch. In the encyclical he cites and praises al-Azhar’s Grand Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb, who has declared: “The four schools of law all concur that apostasy is a crime, that an apostate should be asked to repent, and that if he does not, he should be killed.” Apparently Pope Francis now subscribes to the idea of the death penalty for thee, but not for me, all in the name of “dialogue.”As you might expect with Pope Francis, it gets even worse. ChurchMilitant notes that in the new encyclical, al-Tayyeb is very much the star of the show; he is mentioned five times, including this: “I have felt particularly encouraged by the Grand Imam Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, with whom I met in Abu Dhabi, where we declared that ‘God has created all human beings equal in rights, duties and dignity, and has called them to live together as brothers and sisters.’”

Francis was referring to the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together that Francis and al-Tayyeb signed. Both that document and the new encyclical are as filled with falsehoods and wishful thinking as one would expect coming from a practiced deceiver such as al-Tayyeb and someone so eager to be deceived as the Pope.

What does al-Tayyeb really think about the equality and dignity of all human beings? In a 2016 interview, al-Tayyeb said that “We should be aware that the concepts of human rights are full of ticking time bombs.” In a 2019 interview, the grand imam elaborated: “Is equality an absolute principle or a limited principle? We can see that the Islamic notion of equality is limited. However, the Western notion of equality is, I’m very sad to say, absolute. It has destroyed – or has strived to destroy – many of the values that are more vital for the stability of people’s lives. If we examine the Western notion of equality… As a researcher I have the right to say that in my opinion this notion is false.”

There is much more. Read the rest here.

Confused old Pope Francis. He doesn’t care what the facts are … full speed ahead, guided by his hunches, whims, guesses, wishful thinking and warm, snuggly kumbaya singing.

How can those Muslims not get all SQUISHY inside, and then COMPLETELY FORGET the JIHAD VERSES in the Koran???

    The Koran’s 164 Jihad Verses: K 2:178-179, 190-191, 193-194, 216-218, 244; 3:121-126, 140-143, 146, 152-158, 165-167,169, 172-173, 195; 4:71-72, 74-077, 84, 89-91, 94-95,100-104; 5:33, 35, 82; 8:1, 5, 7, 9-10, 12, 15-17, 39-48, 57-60, 65-75; 9:5, 12-14, 16, 19-20, 24-26, 29, 36, 38-39, 41, 44, 52, 73, 81, 83, 86, 88, 92, 111, 120, 122-123; 16:110; 22:39, 58, 78; 24:53, 55; 25:52; 29:6, 69; 33:15, 18, 20, 23, 25-27, 50; 42:39; 47:4, 20, 35; 48:15-24; 49:15; 59:2, 5-8, 14; 60:9; 61:4, 11, 13; 63:4; 64:14; 66:9; 73:20; 76:8.

Pope Francis thinks it’s only a matter of time for his CHARM OFFENSIVE to work on the Muslims!

It won’t beat Allah’s eternal words, though .How can the pope be so dense?

Jihad is the Arabic word which means struggle, effort, hard work , fight in self defense, try to achieve etc.
All the quraanic verses that you mentioned in your comment above are applicable only and only of a condition that is the same as the condition that called for issuing the verses you mentioned above, just similar to the British law system which does not have a written constitution(you can do a minor research to understand the similarity between the British law system and the Islamic sharpish law specially in regards to jihad) .
The Catholic pope is a decent human who is trying to promote peace in this ugly hateful world that people like you are destroying (Venezuela, Iraq, Libya, Syria, N.korea, Agghanistan) etc etc etc….
The shoe that’s in the pipes feet is holier and cleaner than you and the crimes you keep promoting using your ugly and deceptive propaganda and lies.

I only need to ask you one question. Why do so many muslims not agree with your cuddly and woolly understanding of jihad?

Who knew ‘jihad’ was an Arabic word?We here at JW thought it was Greek.

The ‘oh you don’t know Arabic’ trick { oh you don’t understand the meaning of the word ‘jihad’} is a trick that doesn’t work any more thanks to the internet and Arabic speakers{atheists,Christian,ex-muslim}.I have Arabic speaking relatives{not arabs: one used even collect Classical Arabic manuscripts} who laugh at this Arabic nonsense muslims go on with.
I’m sure you know allah’s ‘perfect’ koran is riddled with grammatical errors in the Arabic itself.

The catholic pope isn’t actually a catholic{what with all the 7 heresies and all}gets praise from his muslim friends but muslims know less about catholicism than they do about their islam. Many catholics do not regard francis as ‘a decent human being’ let lone see him as competent enough to be a pontiff.

Speaking of shoes:didn’t muslims go on the rampage once because some nike sneakers looked like the word ‘allah’ was written on their soles? They are so easily triggered.

Shoes have soles:islam has lost souls.

Now i’m off for some exercise or as I call it a ‘Health Jihad’ because Jihad is a completely innocent word isn’t it and it and has no connection with violent terrorism.

It would be ‘islamophobic’ hate speech to say that.

We’ve certainly heard *this* crap before. But of course the use of the term Jihad in the Qur’an and other canonical texts of Islam virtually always refer to violence against Infidels, *not* hard work.

And note that pious Muslims consider murdering peaceful Infidels to be “self defense”, merely because no non-Muslims are allowed to live free of the Muslim heel.

        More:

        …………………………..

The “condition” for these Qur’anic verses are in most cases just the existence of Infidels who have not submitted to Islam.

The idea that British law persecutes and murders all non-British people is *utterly* false.

And what does civilized British law have in common with the horrors of Shari’ah? British law does not amputate the hands of petty thieves, flog those who tale a sip of alcohol, murder apostates, and stone rape victims to death.

And there is *no* Jihad in British law. How can “Sam” here think we don’t know this?

        More:

The Catholic pope is a decent human who is trying to promote peace in this ugly hateful world that people like you are destroying (Venezuela, Iraq, Libya, Syria, N.korea, Agghanistan) etc etc etc….
        …………………………..

How is praising an Imam who preaches the death penalty for those who dare to leave Islam “decent”? This murderous crushing of freedom of conscience is appalling.

And Venezuela and North Korea have been destroyed by their own imposition of Communism–it is not the free West that has imposed Communism. Then, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Afghanistan have been ruined by the horrors of Islam–again, it is not the West that imposed Islam on these places. In fact, some, like Afghanistan would be even worse if not for some lingering trace of Western influence. Under the Taliban, Muslims there were stoning women to death.

But this is probably what “Sam” wants to see return here.

How is standing against murdering apostates and the other horrors of Jihad and Shari’ah “crimes”?

And how is standing against these atrocities indicative of worshipping money? What claptrap. “Sam” just hates good people standing up against the savagery of his foul creed, and has to pretend that this is not moral. Just disgusting–but hardly surprising given his posting history here.

Pope Francis declares that the death penalty is inadmissible! But will Muslims listen to the king of the DIRTY KUFAAR? Francis doesn’t get that bit.

Allah is superior to everyone and to the divine Christ of Christianity … ALLAHU AKBAR! The pope is deaf to what that means.

Thousands of Christians are murdered by Muslims in jihadic activity every year. Muslims feel thrilled to do so. They will be reward beyond our dreams by Allah for the murders … or so they think. Francis doesn’t get that either.

The only people today who should unquestioningly receive the death penalty are those who shout, ‘WE LOVE DEATH’ … the jihadic terrorists.

They want death? Let us introduce all the Muslim terrorists to the public hangman.

To Francis, cognitive dissonance is far from unbearable.
Not surprising, the Roman Catholic Church is full to overflowing with cognitive dissonances, which aren’t exceptions, they are the norm. Francis is accustomed to them.
Belief in a religion often appears to license cognitive dissonance.

However, I think that there’s another point you’ve missed. I think Francis is courting islam in the hope that islam and Catholicism merge and he is placed as the one in power. “Chrislam.”

And don’t forget… if islam merges with Catholicism, there’s lots and lots of Middle Eastern money that will, in theory, flow into the Vatican.

        Vyx,

The world is heading, may I say, at an accelerated rate towards a One World Government and a One World Religion.

How the One World Religion plays out is a mystery. However, what I find most interesting, is how poorly women are treated in Islam, and yet, in the Qur’an there is an entire chapter devoted to the Biblical Mary, the woman who gave birth to Yeshua HaMashiach.

Could the worship of Mary, in Islam and the Roman Catholic Church, be something that facilitates an alliance between them, an alliance from which the One World Religion is birthed?

“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”

I was responding to the comment made by Vyx.

As I stated at the beginning of my comments; “How the One World Religion plays out is a mystery.” It appears that the word “worship” distracted you from my primary point… that a One World Religion is coming.

Frankly, I couldn’t care less about what Catholics believe or don’t believe about Mary. The hostility directed toward my use of the word “worship” was most certainly uncalled for, but not unexpected. Frankly, it’s a reaction one would expect from a devout Muslim, not someone claiming to be a Roman Catholic Christian.

The issue that I was addressing is a FUTURE EVENT, a One World Religion and HOW that might come about. Islam claims approximately 1.9 billion adherents and the Roman Catholic Church, somewhere around 1.2 billion, or approximately 41% of the World’s population.

It seems logical, considering the numbers, that these two religions will play a major role in the coming One World Religion. So, the question is; what could possibly bridge the divide between the two religions? What do they have in common that they can agree on? Might it be Mary?

The Pope certainly has influence regarding the parishioners of the Roman Catholic Church, but it may be less than one may think.

I know many Roman Catholics who are devout Christians who disagree with the political beliefs / objectives of Pope Francis. They may still remain Roman Catholics and attend mass, etc., but do not support the Pope.

Others simply leave the church and practice their Christian faith elsewhere. The Greek Orthodox Church seems to be a popular choice. Many others go the Evangelical route…

As a REDPILLER/BLACKPILLER and Agnostic and Libertarian when the KORAN says Mohammed is in today’s Torah and Gospel in chapter 7:157, it is false. This is the MINIMALIST argument:

1.For argument’s sake, let’s say the Muslim claim is true: the “Prophet like Moses” in DEUT is about an ARAB, that JESUS says the PARACLETE in JOHN is about a MAN and not a spirit, that SONG of SONGS gives the name of Mohammed in the phrase:”He is Muhamadim/altogether beautiful”,etc.

2.ALL the NT scholars who are atheists,deists,non-Christian theists, agnostics agree the HISTORICAL Jesus was a Religious Jew who considered the LAW of MOISES to be the LAW of GOD.

3.At Most the HISTORICAL Jesus would approve of POLYGAMY, and the HISTORICAL Jesus would condemn ADULTERY and FORNICATION.

4.But the KORAN in like 5 passages: asserts a MARRIED MAN can sleep with his wife, and also with a woman to who is NOT MARRIED (but who is his slave).

    THE PROBLEM IS THIS

All the NT scholars who are atheists, agnostics, deists, theists will affirm:the HISTORICAL Jesus would Never Have Accepted as an Authentic Prophet

a man who would have proclaimed that a MARRIED MAN can sleep with his wife, and also with a woman to who is NOT MARRIED (but who is his slave).

    For the HISTORICAL Jesus:

1.Mohammed would be guilty of preaching ADULTERY ( since a Married Man is sleeping with a woman to who he is Not Married).

2.And approving FORNICATION (in the case of the UNMARRIED girl who is his slave).

3.And granting that the OT and Jesus in the Gospels prophesize about a Prophet to Come after Jesus called Mohammed who would be an Arab: it would be about ANOTHER Mohammed, not the one in the KORAN.
So ISLAM is FALSE by its Own Standards.

If Jesus Christ came to earth today, as a Perfect Man, the same as He did over 2000 years ago, He would preach the same Truths as He taught then.

And He would be telling what happens to liars and those who teach the devil’s doctrines, rape children, murder innocent ones and commit the worst blasphemy.

This pope would condemn Him for not bending over backward to accept islam, and welcome moslims in to “steal, kill and destroy.” This creep who calls himself a ‘ “shepherd of God’s flock,” would criticize Jesus Christ as he does those who attempt to follow Jesus’ commands, and “hate what is bad.”.

And the imama of whom the pope is so fond as to do the kissy-face thing and brag about how wonderful he is, would put out an order to have someone murder our Lord in the most horrific way possible.. The reason: because Jesus told the Truth about satan and He would do so again. Jesus would call out the devil’s “children” as He diid before and He would be clear that this includes those of whom the pop is so fond….and He would point out the evil works of this pope… and condemn them.As Jesus said then, He would say now:
“You are from your father the devil and you wish to do the desires of your father (John 8).”

Jesus in the 4 biographies about him ( Mark,Luke,Matthew and John) says many phrases, but the one I like a lot and is advice for the Pope is:

““Behold, I send you out as SHEEP among WOLVES.

Therefore be CUNNING/SLY as SNAKES and as INNOCENT as DOVES.” ( MATT 10:16 )

Today we would: be as CUNNING as a FOX and as INNOCENT as a DOVE, it means:

Be GOOD but do Not Be STUPID.

        Amen.

        A thought provoking comment.

And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them
        Luke 21:7-8

Notice, when Yeshua HaMashiach answered the question, His first warning was, “heed that ye be not deceived.”

Sadly, too many of us do not know “why we believe, what we believe.”

In my opinion, this pope has no intention or thoughts of being “good” or “smart.” This fraud just wants to bow to moslims…even when it is obvious that they disagree with him…and he panders to them at every opportunity.

Given his position on the world stage, he has plenty of opportunity. He could make an attempt to be spiritually right for a change, but I don’t think he even knows how, if he cared to be so.
There are many of the things that Jesus said that one could say directly to the ope, but it would all go right over his head. He amy read the Scriptures, but he has no true understanding, and twists those that he might learn to apply, if he chose.

My daughter was reading lost and found ads today. She read about a lost dog that the owner didn’t want returned. The dog was said to not like blond children or adult twins…or this current pope. For the last part, I say, “good dog.”

For us tiny people who don’t count for much when it comes to Church leadership, and political leaders there’s not a hell of a lot we can do to change the direction of the people in power. Yes we can vote some of them out of office if one can get enough of the sheep to pay attention and vote. Don’t hold your breath.

These people in power know that the mass of populations are not paying attention to the direction the world ruling class is headed. The only thing blocking the one world order is America with its second amendment, right to bare arms. So their plan is too slowly change the population of America through migration.

      OLD GUY,

      Valid points.

As I posted earlier; Sadly, too many of us do not know “why we believe, what we believe.”

Too many of us are frogs in the pot. The bad guys, primarily through social media and “data mining” know how we will react in any given situation, unfortunately, it’s almost always emotional, not rational. Notice, I said “react” not respond, there is a difference.

I agree, the USA is the last bastion of freedom.

“The hottest fires in hell are reserved for those who remain neutral in times of moral crisis.”

I read the article on Charles de Foucault and was struck with the similar tone deafness on display in these two pieces.
Francis’ mind seems at war with itself, as he embraces the death penalty loving Imam of “the religion of peace”, after attempting to change his own religion to ban the same penalty.

And as for Foucault’s canonization? It seems the Pope is again confused about or is unaware of Foucault’s honest and open assessment of Islam, which was expressed in letters to those he trusted to not cut off his head for stating what he truly thought and experienced in life.

This link is to a good summation of the truth as to what Foucault believed re Islam and how he died: (I doubt it will be included in the canonization ceremony!)

I also wonder how Francis’ command that we need to “obey the UN” is squared with his decrying one of their main population control methods as akin to “hiring a Sicario (HITMAN) to solve a problem”.

Pardon the Native American cultural appropriation in thus statement but….Methinks the white man speaks with forked tongue! (or “the man in white”, if you prefer).
