Now the world can brace for another firestorm. Insulting Islam leads to violence and that is what some Muslims will once again decide that Macron is doing. “Republican values” involve upholding the rule of law and the freedom of speech, including the freedom to offend Islam. This translates to a complete rejection of Sharia. “Republican values” are contrary to the values of Marxist globalists and Islamic supremacists who have been working steadily to undo Western freedoms.
Although Macron has been making efforts to rescue his country from Islamic supremacist thugs, he needs to realize that normative Islam is not a religion of peace.
Macron “told French Muslim leaders to draw up a charter in 15 days which admits Islam is an apolitical religion.” Macron is asking them to commit to drawing up a fallacy. They cannot admit that Islam is apolitical, because it is not. Sharia, which is regarded as divine law, is also an all-encompassing political and legal structure, so Macron’s request should be for Muslim leaders to adapt and assimilate to the French constitution, or otherwise leave.
Macron also needs to begin monitoring preaching in mosques and madrassas, and to fully abandon the EU’s suicide mission of open-door migration that will only usher in more of what he claims to be fighting against. He needs to ally with the “populist” Visegrad group (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia), and with Austria.
“France’s Macron issues ‘Republican values’ ultimatum to Muslim leaders,” BBC News, November 19, 2020:
French President Emmanuel Macron has asked Muslim leaders to accept a “charter of Republican values” as part of a broad clampdown on radical Islam.
On Wednesday he gave the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) a 15-day ultimatum to accept the charter.
It will state that Islam is a religion and not a political movement, while also prohibiting “foreign interference” in Muslim groups.
It follows three suspected Islamist attacks in little more than a month.
Mr Macron has strongly defended French secularism in the wake of the attacks, which included the beheading of a teacher who showed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad during a class discussion last month.
Late on Wednesday, the president and his interior minister, Gérald Darmanin, met eight CFCM leaders at the Élysée palace.
“Two principles will be inscribed in black and white [in the charter]: the rejection of political Islam and any foreign interference,” one source told the Le Parisien newspaper after the meeting.
The CFCM representatives also agreed to create a National Council of Imams, The body would reportedly issue imams with official accreditation which could be withdrawn if an ethical code is breached.
President Macron has also announced new measures to tackle what he called “Islamist separatism” in France.
The measures include a wide-ranging bill that seeks to prevent radicalisation. It was unveiled on Wednesday, and includes measures such as restrictions on home-schooling and harsher punishments for those who intimidate public officials on religious grounds.
Each child would be given an identification number under the law that would be used to ensure they are attending school. Parents who break the law could face up to six months in jail as well as large fines.
The bill, which was first seen by the AFP news agency, also makes it an offence to share the personal information of a person in a way that allows them to be located by people who want to harm them.
Samuel Paty, the teacher who was killed outside his school last month, was targeted by an online hate campaign before his death on 16 October….

M Macron has been forced to face down the Islamists because their assault on the French state is relentless, vicious, murderous and never-ending.
Soon it will be our turn to suffer unconscionable pain from people we welcomed. Boris should join M Macron in this struggle for our Western values and way of life.

I agree with you Clive! Macron challenges the Islamists to uphold the values of the French Republic. Terror and lies has been and will continue to be the response by these Islamists to Macron and his French patriots. Islamists do not consider terror to be illegal, it is dear part of their Sharia Law. The French have an open society which the Islamists work very hard to destroy.

Trying to reason or appease these people just will not work. The mohamedans in charge will not give up their power and their brainwashed adherents will continue to kill people. While applauding Macron for his efforts he is going to stir up more hatred. The only solution is deportation on a massive scale.
Halaku says
Sylvia, too late for deportation. Europe will be lucky to stop the unchecked immigration. The Muslims have discovered a ‘PC Ozone Hole’ which causes Europeans to lose all semblance of common sense and self preservation, as they open the floodgates to Hijrat “refugee” immigration from Muslim lands, while imposing strict restrictions at the same time on qualified, hardworking, law-abiding and likely to be tax paying Christians, Hindus and others.
Savvy Kafir says
It’s not too late for mass deportation of Muslims. And that is the ONLY way to prevent the Islamization of the West.

gravenimage says
I don’t think Macron is so much trying to reason with Muslims as he is drawing a line in the sand. And Halaku, no need to preach surrender here. Patritotic Europeans *can* still save Europe if they have the will. First, stop more Muslims from flooding in.
Also note that that Ozone Hole is not the threat it was once thought to be…
Halaku says
gravenimage, Europeans are still viewing the situation in normal terms and therefore they rationalise the Muslim atrocities as a response to colonial exploitation, illiteracy, poverty etc. In short, it could be anything but Islam. Without a proper understanding across Europe, there’s going to be no Will to do the right thing.
I am not preaching surrender at all. On the contrary. Let the Europeans immediately stop the suicidal policy of allowing free immigration of Hijrat “Refugees”. Then there should be a time bound program to send these people back to their homelands, or to the Muslim countries that start screaming “Islamophobia”. All those not respecting the laws of the land and preaching hatred towards other communities must be deported immediately.
Halaku says
I hope that holds for the “PC Ozone Hole” too.

Thanks for your reply, Halaku.

To borrow a op-ed headline from James Bowman: In a world where tribal loyalties trump moral standards, there’s no such thing as hypocrisy. Macron has thrown the moral challenge at the feet of the Islamists. They are asked to uphold the French Republic. This is something they certainly do not wish to do. But, it is important for Macron to request this respect from the Islamists. At the least the French loyal to Macron will appreciate the patriotic symbolism he is confirming. Islamists want to dominate the French, they do not hold the values of the French in any regard at all. The French value life, Islamists call for the death of the French and their values, and justify this through their Sharia Laws. As has been addressed in prior JW articles, Islamists do not consider terror to be illegal. They consider it to be a justified part of their Jihad – a means to the subjugation of the others, the French included. The hypocrisy? The Islamists claim to have “moral” standards, but their standard includes the murder of innocents. The French certainly do not consider the murder of innocents by loyal tribal Islamists to ever be justified. These two visions are obviously opposed. As has been said before many many times. Islam is not compatible with Western [French] civilization. The conflict will continue. The Islamists will throw their own challenge at the feet of the French people.
Eric S. says
Recap: Actually, the Islamist challenge to the French has already been played. It is terror.
Halaku says
This ought to be easy for the Muslim leaders, who have to rely on the tried and tested Islamic device of Muruna which means being “flexible” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings. Muslims striving to advance Islam can deviate from their Islamic laws in order to cause non-Muslims to lower their guard and place their trust in their Muslim neighbor. Muslims practice Muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colors to avoid a predator. Then there’s Kitman, characterized by telling only part of the truth.
These tactics will buy them time while they wait for the European Christian population to diminish rapidly and their own to grow by immigration and high birth rate. Just a matter of time.
Halaku says
That should be Native European population, which is not just the Christians.
rooare says
Well said Halaku.

Macron has taken the right step. The French Muslim leaders are not likely to accept his reasonable (in the French context) ultimatum. They will attack and play the victim card. But some French Muslims will quietly, even gladly, accept the conditions. That will likely divide the Muslim community.

This initiative is laudable but, as CD-W perceptively points out, flawed.
Macron, and France, need to learn some basics:
“Radical” Islam is ordinary basic Islam.
“Political” Islam is ordinary basic Islam.
“Islamism” is the same as Islam. It is an artificial decoy term to deflect attention away.
“Separatism” is a basic teaching of Islam – apartheid from the filthy kaffir.

“Also, Islam cannot be changed: Allah says it is “perfect”:
“This day have I perfected your religion for you”, Koran 5:3”.
That is not what E Macron is talking about, he recalled that France is a secular country and that all French citizens have the duty to respect the laws and the republican pact whatever their beliefs.
Michael Copeland says
Point taken, but Islam instructs muslims to have contempt for man-made law. Islam also instructs that muslims must not take orders from kuffar. Both these are components of muslims’ religious beliefs: they are where the conflict happens. Islam instructs muslims that they are not citizens of man-made states, but citizens of the worldwide Ummah “to the exclusion of all others” (placard).
“Islam must dominate”, said Hassan al Banna.
Macron’s requirements are perfectly reasonable, secular, and law-abiding. Islam is not reasonable, secular, or man-made-law-abiding. It is fixed and unchangeable.
Lavéritétriomphera says
E Macron is not an Islamic theologian, he is the president of the French Republic and his duty is to ensure compliance with Constitution by all French citizens : “France is an indivisible, secular, democratic and social Republic, guaranteeing that all citizens regardless of their origin, race or religion are treated as equals before the law and respecting all religious beliefs” states the Constitution of 1958. The “freedom to practice religion” has been recognised since 1905 when the loi sur la séparation de l’Église et de l’État (Law on the Separation of the Church and State) came into effect. Far from being a weapon against religion, this text returned all religions to the private sector and established state secularism in the public sphere. The French State does not favour any one religion and guarantees their peaceful co-existence in respect of the laws and principles of the Republic.” https://www.gouvernement.fr/en/secularism-and-religious-freedom.

I have to say, for so long I’ve lumped Macron into the same limp category as Trudeau, Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey, and the like. To see him on TV seeming genuinely pissed off and talking about defending French values without fear of being called a Nazi was stunning. Most of Europe won’t even acknowledge they have values or a culture worth defending anymore. I agree with the author above that it’s only a first step, but it’s something I never expected to see from him.
A lot of people who were put off by DT’s personality (not me, for the record) are talking about getting Trumpian politics without Trump in 2024, and I think some of these Eastern European firebrands, and now perhaps Macron, are what that could look like – classy, well-spoken, even-tempered guys with visible but controlled anger who will not back down or apologize and who can clearly argue a point directly to a disingenous interviewer’s face.

The moslims will “agree” because they must. But, they will not really stop teaching islam as it is…political and determined to change from whatever form of government to their own lawless, demonic one; refusing to follow the laws that govern marriage, inheritance, etc.; and that their members have the “right” to murder and rape…in fact, are commanded to in order to spread their filth.
When there are so many moslims as in France, they are going to do as they wish and not what is expected from them by the government. Mr. Macron should enlist the help of Mr. Spencer, Mr. Ibrahim, and others who are the experts on islam…bur who are not moslim and will tell him the truth.
eduardo odraude says
Perhaps the government will pass laws punishing political Islam…
Forbidding political Islam seems a good strategy for Western governments, because it puts Islamic leaders in a bind. They tend to deny that true Islam is political or theocratic. But that means they cannot object to the suppression of political Islam, since it is not “true Islam” according to them. Anyone who has read Islam’s core texts knows of course that Islam is fundamentally political and theocratic, and therefore that suppressing political Islam will tend to mean suppressing Islam. But if Muslim leaders resist the crushing of political Islam, then they will be admitting that Islam has aggressive designs on liberal democratic institutions. Thus, for non-Muslims it seems a no-lose option to suppress “political Islam.” Muslim leaders will then be damned if they support suppression, and damned if they don’t support it. If they accept that political Islam should be suppressed, they will be permitting Islam itself to be substantially suppressed. If on the other hand, they admit that suppression of political Islam tends naturally to be suppression of Islam itself (Islam being essentially political and theocratic), then the veil will have been torn from Muslim leaders’ intentions, and non-Muslims everywhere will therefore be better able to see that the Islamic doctrine contained in Islam’s most trusted sources seeks non-Muslim overthrow all around the globe.
somehistory says
In the U.S., there is a law that is applied to organizations such as the AB. It does not ban the organization, but makes it illegal to be a member of the organization.
Perhaps something similar could be applied to islam since the goal is to overthrow the government, but they claim it is a religion.
The AB has ***religious*** aspects…they call their meetings “church,’ and they have a “bible” that outlines the rules. One has to commit a murder to belong and the only way out is death. The motto is “Blood in/Blood out.” They have a system of promoting so that each member has other members giving instructions and even killing assignments. They work inside and outside the prison system, promising protection to inmates who join. On the outside, they deal in drugs, prostitution, etc.
Those writing the laws need to fully understand just what they are defending their citizens against.

Hard to imagine France objecting to the policies of the Visegrad group at this point. France unfortunately has had to learn the hard way what Islam is. And there will be many more hard lessons for France in that regard. True, Gravenimage. I support Mr. Macron and the French on their war against terrorism. But sadly I get shocked when leftists in my Muslim-majority country, who claims to be free and secular, condemned the French Government because “the French are attacking Islam” ! Macron even didn’t said anything like Islamic terrorism he just said “Islamist terrorism”. And he and his governments also stated their respect for Islam, I don’t respect Islam though and don’t agree with their respect for Islam. But my point is even stating your respect for Islam is not enough for these kind of people ! It is hard for me to understand such kind of political persons. It is sad that they are aligned with Erdogan on this issue.

“Macron is asking them to commit to drawing up a fallacy.”
I am at a loss to explain the choice of the word “fallacy”. Macron is “asking” them to commit blasphemy, reform, apostasy all of which are punishable under “their” rules by death at the hands of any vigilante who takes offense. The total falsehood, whether by true or deliberate ignorance, should offend any person who knows the least about islam, its rules, its history of slavery and murder, and its goals.
It is possible to see the insanity of Macron and others by a few minutes reading the introduction and maybe the first chapters of our host’s Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam, or Bill Warner’s Abridged Koran, or Mark Gabriel’s Unfinished Battle. It does not require great effort to see islam for what it is.
