Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic Republic of Iran raids and ransacks homes of Baha’is all over the country

Nov 25, 2020 1:00 pm By Robert Spencer 16 Comments

The mullahs know that the severe threat to their regime that Donald Trump posed will soon be over. The Iranian nuclear deal that enables Iran’s nuclear program and opens the door for it to receive billions from a thoughtless, imprudent, and willfully ignorant West will soon be back on. So now is the time to step up its operations against the perceived enemies of the Islamic regime, that is, poor and defenseless non-Muslims.

“Breaking: An All-Out Assault on Baha’is Across Iran,” by Kian Sabeti, IranWire, November 22, 2020 (thanks to Henry):

On the morning of Sunday, November 22, in simultaneous operations in various cities across Iran, security agents ransacked the homes of tens of Baha’is. Their personal effects, mobile phones, computers, laptops and religious books and pictures were all confiscated, and in a number of cases, the agents also reportedly took away any cash they found, along with national ID cards.

The reason for this wave of raids is not yet known. According to two Baha’is whose homes were searched, the warrant only specified that it was for “searching the home and workplace and seizure of equipment.” As of now, there have been no reports of any arrests.

At the time of writing raids on the homes of Baha’is in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan and its suburbs, Mashhad and Kerman had been confirmed….

Given the coronavirus crisis in Iran and the new, stringent lockdowns in place across the country, it is not clear why plainclothes security agents chose this moment to descend on these people’s homes.

“At a time when people are supposed to be working together,” one Baha’i told IranWire, “and observe social distancing and avoid unnecessary traffic, unknown individuals – who might be carriers of the disease – came to Baha’i homes and touched everything on the pretext of an inspection. Isn’t such behavior contrary to public health guidelines?”…

Where are the Muslim apologists to tell us that there is freedom of religion under the Mullahs?

The Baha’i is a reform of Islam also enclosing all major religions, created by 2 new “prophets”. Like the Christians they have been persecuted for this flavor of religion, one that doesn’t pose a threat to the world. If I were a Muslim, the Baha’i( outside of a Muslim nation) religion might represent the best change short of totally leaving Islam.

Since physical conquest is the goal of mainstream Islam, it cannot tolerate a version that leaves the world alone and promotes universal brotherhood for both believer and unbeliever. When the Ayatollah Khomeini took over Iran(1979), the Baha’i were on his harass and kill list. Something like 10% of Baha’i “scriptures” are in Persian which Iran may consider an embarassment, that it had roots in Iran.

When working in Chicago I visited their Temple in Wilmette and found the Baha’i representatives warm and friendly, behaving more like Christians. Interestingly, the motifs on the Temple included the Cross and the Star of David. Its members consider Baha’i to be a universal continuation of all faiths which, of course, is considered an apostate breakoff by Shia and mainstream Sunni Islam.

Baha’i may still be a nascent religion (only 5 million members) with a significant future. Apparently only a small percentage of its founders writings have been translated to English – something like 10 million words still needing translation.

It’s a pity that all of Islam can’t be like the Baha’i, having great promise for the 21st century through universal acceptance of all humans. The Baha’i religion does have a genuine Golden Rule.

Sadly, Baha’i shamelessly whitewash Islam and the “Prophet” Muhammed–but they themselves are a peaceful faith.

Baha’i basically started as a Muslim heresy; I would not call it a reform of Islam. I do find it curious that only selected texts of Bahá’u’lláh have been translated into English (given that they do possess his original writings)… and according to a contemporary report I once read, the Bab was not exactly peaceful. But considering that Baha’is have nowhere taken to jihad, this limited translation might be a good thing.

Very true. Any religion that considers Mohammed a noble figure automatically discredits itself. On top of that, the Baha’i are also very unapologetic proselytizers: it’s not like Zoroastrians who leave other people alone

I knew a Bahai, she was a friendly Iranian woman.
Bahais believe that Mohamed was a prophet too, that’s why I will never convert to Bahai.

Biden/Harris embolden our enemies. Let the money and aid flow freely while islam works to overthrow your government. Maybe the liberal left will figure it out when Islamic’s start to behead and murder the open border one world leadership believers. These people are being used by islam and think they are safe from the violence they are not it will be just a matter of time and control before the snake islam bites them also.
