The Turks are irked, but the Russians should tell them that Russia is not a Sharia state and does not adhere to Sharia blasphemy laws, and that therefore Ibrahim Atabi will not be extradited. Will the Russians do this? Or allow realpolitik to guide their considerations?

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Turkey has launched proceedings to extradite a man who desecrated the Quran and has fled to Russia.
The Turkish man, named Ibrahim Atabi, recently released a footage on social media showing his tearing pages from a copy of the Holy Book, turkey-breaking.com website reported.
He then fled to Russian following a backlash over his offensive move.
Now Turkey’s General Directorate of Security is in consultation with Moscow on his extradition….
Atabi’s offensive move has angered the public in Turkey, with many calling for his prosecution.
