Members of the European Parliament are calling for Fabrice Leggeri, the executive director of the EU Border and Coastguard Agency, Frontex, to be fired for pushing back illegal migrants.
The EU isn’t concerned about the well-being of taxpaying, law-abiding Europeans. The EU has championed the UN Migration Pact, which advances the ridiculous notion that mass migration is a “human right”; even though migrants are unvetted, most have been found to be not refugees but economic migrants, and among them are jihadists posing as refugees.
European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen was reportedly “embarrassed” by Frontex. She has hailed Greece as “Europe’s shield,” from which many migrants relocate to other EU countries. But in September, it was reported that Greece was ramping up its border security in preparation for Turkey to unleash a new wave of migrants. Greece has been suffering its own crisis over the Muslim migrant overload and lawlessness, and has also lost track of tens of thousands of migrants. But none of Greece’s woes matters to the EU or to von der Leyen. In July, the EU Commission declared that asylum rejections at borders were illegal, and not consistent with EU “values.”
“MEPs call for EU Border Agency director to resign over ‘migrant pushbacks,'” by Efi Koutsokosta, Euronews, December 1, 2020:
MEPs have called on the Fabrice Leggeri, Executive Director of EU Border and Coastguard Agency Frontex to resign. It comes after allegations on the agency’s involvement in illegal practices and rights violations.
Politicians from the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament said he failed to answer questions relating to the agency’s involvement in pushbacks at the EU’s external borders aimed at preventing asylum-seekers from entering the EU.
It follows a heated hearing in Brussels in which Leggeri defended Frontex staff saying:
“We have not found evidence that there were active direct or indirect participation of Frontex staff or officers deployed by Frontex in pushbacks.”
He commented on Greece’s alleged illegal practice of pushing back migrants to Turkey, that it was up to the competent authorities, pushing the responsibility onto Athens. He explains that if no rescue is declared by the competent authority, then there is a possibility to carry out an ‘interception at the borders’ and the host member state of a Frontex operation could ‘invite the boat to change its course’.
But not everyone is convinced. A Swedish team that participated in a border operation say it was asked not to report any violations.
“We are not just shocked by the reports but we are also saddened by them,” said socialist MEP Tanja Fajon.
“All incidents, firing, shots at people, destroying boat engines, putting people back in boats and throwing them away in fact we are speaking about pushbacks.”……

The members of the European Parliament are INSANE.
The purpose of a border agency is to CONTROL the border.

Any member of any Parliament is supposed to be upholding the sovereign integrity of the country he/she serves and working to safeguard its citizens. That includes ensuring that anyone entering the country does so legally and preventing anyone entering who should not be doing so, and also includes supporting any front-line officer who has the job of putting that into practice. So what these MP’s think they’re playing at is a bit of a mystery and certainly amounts to gross dereliction of duty. Sack the lot of them!

All the EU Parliament Members who called for the firing of border agency director should be fired .

Will socialist MEP Tanja Fajon open her house to illegal arrivals, please?

The EU just annexed the continent. There has never been any vote or referendum if the peoples of Europe wanted this. They don’t. And in particular, the Greeks, Italians and Spaniards bear the main brunt of this invasion. They are completely ignored, although they are most affected. Their communities have become living hell holes.
These EU people are usurpers, and not democrats.
And yes, Michael Copeland: You are absolutely right!
Charity is a voluntary concept and should remain one.
Forcing other people to be “charitable” with their money (obviously the core of Europeanism) …is, yes, what actually is it? It may look very humane. But it is the attempt to gain control of the European countries by intentionally generating strife and unrest and, ultimately, poverty. The dirty version of divide and conquer.

Why do Europeans still elect socialists and democrats to their parliament, when they’ve shown how inept they are even in defending secular, left-leaning values like gay rights, feminism, animal rights et al against the brunt of Mohammedan invaders?
Every Social Democrat Party in Europe should be outlawed just like the Nazis were
