Biden’s handlers will not help Nadeem Samson because his case does not fit the establishment narrative, in which Christians are always the wrongdoers and Muslims always the victims. It is doubly certain that Biden’s handlers will not help since he has become president in the context of a massive silencing of dissent by his Big Tech allies. It is unlikely that the new president’s handlers will opt to act in a way that might put a spotlight on their own efforts to destroy the freedom of speech.
“Brother of Christian imprisoned in Pakistan on blasphemy charge pleads for Biden to help,” by Jackson Elliott, Christian Post, January 21, 2021:
A United States citizen whose brother is facing the possibility of being sentenced to death in Pakistan on trumped-up blasphemy charges is asking the Biden administration to put pressure on Pakistan to release his brother.
In three months, 47-year-old Pakistani Christian man Nadeem Samson will go before Pakistan’s Lahore High Court as he petitions against blasphemy charges that stem from and were cemented by a false accusation, corrupt police, and his own confession under torture, his brother, Shakeel Anjum, told The Christian Post.
On Nov. 24, 2017, a man named Abdul Haq told Pakistani police that Samson had opened a fake Facebook account where he allegedly posted blasphemous material. He asked for an immediate police raid on Samson’s home to catch him in the act.
Police captured Samson and a police report claims that he admitted to the crime.
But according to his Anjum, it was all a setup.
Anjum explained that Samson leased his home from Haq and was planning to move away. But Haq wanted to keep Samson’s $4,000 deposit for the lease. Anjum believes that Haq created the Facebook account using Samson’s phone number.
Then, Haq bribed the police, he said.
Police beat Samson for three days until he admitted to the crime, the brother recalled. When Samson appeared in open court in 2018, people physically attacked him, he said. Now, Samson attends his court hearings online from within prison.
“I’ve been fighting for my brother,” Anjum said. “After one year of the lease, the owner had to pay him $4,000. But the owner chose not to do that and instead invent this conspiracy. He paid the police and he made it a cybercrime.”
Anjum has lived in the U.S. since 2012. He entered the U.S. as a permanent resident after marrying an American and later became a U.S. citizen.
He told CP that police don’t allow him to speak with his imprisoned brother by phone, so he depends on a network of Pakistani friends who visit Samson in Lahore’s District Jail…..

I am sorry for this man who is being persecuted. But Biden will not help any Christian, he is in favor of killing babies in abortion, he is a false Christian.

Biden is an empty shell. A hollow vessel. A yes man.

“The White House announced Friday that the Biden Administration will codify Roe v. Wade, which would allow for legal abortions even in the event that the Supreme Court overturns the 1973 ruling.
The Biden Administration made the announcement in a press statement put out by the White House. “The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe,” reads the statement.”

James Lincoln says
somehistory,
I have liberal friends and family members who have championed Roe v. Wade for decades.
Most of them now do not have grandchildren – and somehow wonder why…
somehistory says
Somehow, I just can’t have any sympathy for those who favor baby-killing and then later feel a loss. They are reaping what they sowed.
Children are “gifts from God,” and they are such a treasure…grandchildren can add so much joy to life. I write from experience.
Infidel says
James, I actually consider myself pro-choice, and anyone who hears what I believe would agree that my position is: I do believe that if a woman gets knocked up after a one night stand and takes the morning after pill and ends the pregnancy, it’s one thing. However, I am against abortions in the latter half of the pregnancy, much less the partial birth or our Gov Ralph Northam’s born-alive abortions, and I support the heartbeat laws or the pain-capable laws that various states have signed
It used to be that Libs wanted abortions to be safe, legal and rare: their main critique was of women who irresponsibly got pregnant w/o wanting to have a baby. But today, we have people like Chelsea Handler who want to be pregnant for the sake of having an abortion. It’s too perverted to even imagine
I have a friend who used to support more Democrat positions than Republican, but she’s now a fan of the #walkaway movement. For her, pro-choice used to be an important issue, although she has 2 kids, but now, even she can’t stand the infanticidal stances of the Left
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Your current position on abortion is, by today’s standards, fairly conservative. It’s also a position held by many Republicans.
I have personally gotten more conservative on the issue over the last 20 or so years.
I generally support abortion for the “big three” – rape, incest, to protect the life of the mother – realizing that these “reasons”, unfortunately, can also be abused.
Other “reasons” would be *very* rare, such as “horrific” genetic abnormalities, carefully evaluated on a case-by-case basis – but this is admittedly a very slippery slope.
I guess I’m currently of the position that abortion should be legal – but *very* restricted.
A *very* difficult topic to say the least…
somehistory says
I am against it. Plain and simple. Life is sacred.
What is totally evil, besides this, is that the same ones who are so pro-baby killing, are so very much against serial killers, mass-murderers, serial rapists who also murder their victims, etc….not having any pain when they die. In fact, they protest against the death penalty, period.
And now, biden/harris teams are setting all of the illegals detained inside the U.S. ***free***…no sponsors necessary. Because keeping them locked up is just too ****inhumane****.
They are so selective when it comes to important principles…they decide for themselves what “is right and wrong.” (Genesis 3)
Infidel says
James, on the rape, incest and life of a mother, I do think there should be a window for which it is legal, rather than the entire 9 months. If someone is raped (including incest here when I say rape), she should get the abortion done immediately, rather than sleep on it for months and then decided in the second or third trimester that she doesn’t want it. So no, I wouldn’t support late term abortions in those 3 cases: raped women should abort earlier, when the heartbeat or pain capability ain’t there. On the life of a mother, I’d leave that to medical opinion, since I don’t know much about how life-threatening such pregnancies are
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
I certainly agree regarding rape, incest, and life of the mother that there should be a brief window in which is legal. I’d say, as soon as “reasonably possible”.
Although rare, some pregnancies threaten the life of the mother such as severe eclampsia (toxemia of pregnancy)…
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
I certainly respect your opinion, and I have moved much closer to that view over time. I guess I’m not quite there yet.
That being said, I *currently* believe that abortion should be legal for the relatively *rare* instances that I have noted to Infidel.
The exceptions are *very* small percentages, well over 95% of abortions would not be performed if my “guidelines” were followed…
somehistory says
Thank you, JL.
I have never felt any other way. I firmly believe that if people actually followed the Bible, there would be none. The only unborn babies dying then would be by miscarriage…which is a very painful thing.
I see the day coming when no babies will lose their lives.
“Neither death, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor pain will be any more. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21-22)

Horrible story . I’m so very sorry for the situation. I always pray for everyone who wants to do the right thing, esp for those who obey Christ, and for those whose names I know. I will definitely say prayers for your brother.
I agree with gravenimage about posting your phone number.
Perhaps biden could make an exchange…your brother’s freedom for the two moslims the paki government wants, and who are here in the U.S.
But, though Mr. Biden claims to be Christian, don’t count on that as a factor.
Just keep praying…that your brother can “endure” and that Jehovah God will “make a way out” for him so that he will be able to endure it.

Beneath the Veil of Consciousness says
Call Imam Pope Francis. He’ll straighten everything out.
Infidel says
Yeah, maybe that should work. Maybe Imam Pope could work out a deal w/ Imran, where they issue a joint statement denouncing ‘islamophobia’ in exchange for Nadeem Samson’s freedom to leave Pakistan
Mario Alexis Portella says
Asia Bib was denied asylum by the Vatican. Who knows what the Pope will do this time around?
James Lincoln says
Mario Alexis Portella,
Remember when Turkey converted the Hagia Sophia into a mosque?
Pope Francis had this to say:
“I think of Hagia Sophia, and I am very saddened.”
Sounds like a harbinger of things to come.
“Imam” – I mean “Pope” – Francis will be “very saddened” about the plight of Nadeem Samson…

OLD GUY says
Biden probably can’t do much about this poor mans problem in Pakistan, it is never easy to interfere in another countries legal system. He can however shut down travel and migration from Pakistan along with trade restrictions. But he won’t. He is a believer in the open border philosophy and big business trade deals, not the protection of American citizens.
