The sorry state of affairs in the USA today is only due to the flawed immigration policies of that country. Today the majority populace in that great nation is hamstrung in voting for the leader that they feel truly represents them and their ethos.
At this juncture, I’m posing this Q once again. And I have asked this Q a 1000 times before. What was the necessity for the USA to permanently immigrate foreign cultures onto its soil. It could have been fine without that. All these hogwash about USA needing skills has completely derailed this nation from the identity that it once had.
What was the necessity for doling out green-cards and citizenships? And most of all, why there is no waiting period for brand new immigrant citizens for voting as well as standing for elected office? This, IMHO, has completely skewed the electoral process in the USA. And now U have the likes of Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, Sarsour and a host of Trojans who actively despise the USA as senators.
If immigrants were that badly needed for skills, the USA could have adapted a Middle-East type system, where overseas workers could stay and work long terms on temporary visas, but can never become citizens and leave alone vote in elections and stand for office.
But, my pleas in this regard has fallen on deaf ears. That is why U see what is sadly happening today at Wash-DC. When will democracies ever learn!!!

It never was a skills issue. It was a lower wages game. And it’s much wider in its reach than the few numbers the government will publish. There are so many exclusions to any cap they set as to render caps meaningless. And they use and abuse every exclusion.
During the BHO years, the cant was “thoroughly vetted.” It is impossible to “thoroughly vet” when the individuals come from nations with legal systems so diametrically opposed to our own. And they bring them in while our own citizens sit in prison for things that aren’t even crimes in these countries. That is very sick.
Furthermore, they are granted exemptions from policy in corporations once installed, as we see with Omar and Tlaib. We had a Muslim who was extremely abusive to staff but never dealt with. He would, for example, grab himself while at the front of a room and conducting a meeting, point it at attendees, and pretend to spray them. No action from management. He, in his eyes, was simply demonstrating his superiority, as assigned to him by his beliefs.
