Moneyed outfits such as Justice for All are able to get their half-truths and falsehoods into the establishment media, while the truth is disparaged as “Islamophobia” and ignored.
“Multimedia company peddles jihadist friendly Kashmir narrative,” by Abha Shankar and Cliff Smith, Sunday Guardian Live, January 23, 2021:
…Justice for All, the activist subsidiary of the Chicago-based multimedia company Sound Vision Foundation, has focused since 2012 to “raise awareness regarding the persecution of ethnic and religious minorities in Burma [now Myanmar].” It also has a campaign calling attention to the plight of Uyghurs in China. But Justice for All is now pushing a theocratic, Islamist view in the Kashmir debate. While doing so, it conflates the issue of Kashmir with the plight of the Rohingya and the Uyghurs.
A crystalizing example comes from a “scorecard” that Justice for All promoted during the Democratic presidential primaries, noting their position on “Kashmir, Uighur and Rohingyas,” as if these issues are all simply about tyrannical governments violently oppressing local people.
While reasonable minds can differ on how to settle the long-simmering issue of J&K, its differences with the issues of the Rohingya and the Uyghurs are vast.
Unlike China, India is a democracy that has a strong commitment to the rule of law and individual rights. To the degree the issue of Kashmir has created mass refugees, as is the case of Myanmar and the Rohingya, it was Hindus leaving Kashmir as a result of jihadist violence, not as a result of governmental oppression. Indeed, to the degree that the Indian government has overstepped since announcing the end of Kashmir’s special status, it has been responding to jihadi violence.
Yet Justice for All and its parent, Sound Vision, ignore all these facts. In recent months, pushing an Islamist narrative on Kashmir has become an all-consuming focus for the network. A Pakistan-backed Kashmir leader, who is reported to support jihadists such as US-designated Hizbul Mujahideen leader Syed Salahuddin, for example, was a featured guest on Sound Vision’s Muslim Network TV.
On 30 November, Sardar Masood Khan, president of “Azad” or “Free” Jammu and Kashmir (Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir according to India), appeared on Muslim Network TV’s “Mujahid Talks” show hosted by Sound Vision’s founding chairman, Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid.
The hour-long talk show painted Kashmiris as unfortunate victims of brutal Indian aggression and perpetuated the myth of a “systematic genocide” of Kashmiris by India’s “one million army” deployed in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
“There were killings every day…instances of rape used as an instrument of war…enforced disappearances, fake encounters and…arbitrary detentions of thousands of people who are being tortured in concentration camps and prisons in the occupied territory and in northern India,” Khan claimed….

This narrative is bound to gain traction in the USA as unaware citizens are fooled into believing their warped and deceptive telling of the true state of affairs in Kashmir.
US citizens are fooled since they are unable to spare the time to examine the situation in Kashmir in a detailed fashion : they hear the Pakistan account more frequently : the Pakistani account of what is going on in Kashmir is most prevalent in the public forum since it is supported by an alliance of other Muslim communities and left wingers : since it has unlimited supplies of funding from many covert and overt sources it is able to generate more noise to attract attention.
The Indian – Americans appear to be deaf and dumb oblivious to how India is being disadvantaged in political debates and public profile since they are too busy chasing the “ greenback “ as well as “ panem et circenses “

Cicero, is there any data on how Indian-Americans voted in this election? Within India, according to Pew, Trump had a 65% support among BJP voters, and 50% among opposition voters. Wonder how much it changed w/ Indian-Americans?

Chicago-based Muslim multimedia company peddles jihadist-friendly narrative about Kashmir
…………….
The idea that Jihad in Kashmir “protects religious freedom” is grotesque–what they mean is that it would make Kashmir “safe” for Shari’ah law and the persecutuion of Infidels.
Infidel says
One of the ironic things about Kashmir was that under Article 35A, Kashmiri wasn’t a recognized official language of Kashmir (even though Indian states are largely organized along linguistic lines). It only gained that status recently after the abolition of that part of the Indian constitution
I also disagree w/ the authors (granted that they are Guardian writers and therefore Leftists) when they equate China w/ Burma when it comes to treatment of muslims. First of all, Burma is more like India than like China: Burma too is a democracy, whose leader is none other than the famous Nobel peace prize winner Ahn San Syu Ki. Second, the policy that she follows is the same as that of the junta that preceded her, but it’s also endorsed by the opposition leader Dr Thet Thet. In other words, it’s Burma’s elected leaders who are carrying out the policy of expelling muslims
The other contrast b/w Burma and China – indeed the comparison is odious in terms of defaming Burma – is that Burma doesn’t have Buddhist soldiers living in muslim homes, readily available to rape muslim girls, the way Han Chinese are in Xinjiang. Burma doesn’t trade in the organs of muslim prisoners. Burma doesn’t sell hair of muslim women in global markets. Burma doesn’t engage in human trafficking of muslims. Burma doesn’t have treaties w/ muslim countries asking them to turn over Burmese muslims to Burma to be enslaved. In fact, Burma drives out muslims who don’t accept Burmese national identity or culture, but after that, they don’t care where they go: they’re happy to leave them alone. Let’s see the lying Guardian writers say that about China!
If anything, Burma is the model of what normal non-muslim countries ought to do to their muslim citizens: force them to either accept the cultural and legal norms of their country, or leave. They don’t deserve any of the sanctions imposed on them by the ‘international community’

Ohohoho.. moderate and tolerant Indonesia has many sites like this… Here’s few of them:
Arrahmah.com
Eramuslim.com
These sites openly supports alqaeda and even calls an ISIS dissident a hero, and when the gov shut them down, millions of their dai(apologist) want them to return

Kashmir and other “specifics” aside, praying assess in the air are a sign you’re not dealing with people who are in possession of all the toys in the attic.

How the Muslim executives of this Chicago based multimedia company can be so very unethical as to engage in the unprincipled and wrong action of promoting jihadist- friendly propaganda and not feel bad or guilty about it is explain in the Bible.
For the Bible informs the reader that there some men ,be they businessmen , school teachers or university professors ,are so very despicable ,unconscionable and wrong in their behavior because they have had “their own conscience seared with a hot iron.” First Timothy 4:2. [N.K.J.V.]
The “hot iron” is this specfic case is Islam.

Thanks for citing the passage, Walter.

It is not oversteeping it is the law in J&K and india. when J&k joined india they made law that they will integrate with india. infact muslims who genocided hindus and drove them out of kashmir have no right in kashmir. it is like saying middle eastern muslims are natives of europe and europeans dont have right on europe.
western countries have been supporting this narrative for a long time. basically making india has their enemy.
Making every potential ally as their enemy LOL.
