The destruction of the freedom of speech in America today is being carried out by the Leftist establishment that dominates the political sphere, the social media giants, the establishment media, the educational system – virtually everything, really. The Left is using the Capitol riot of January 6 as its Reichstag Fire moment to criminalize, silence, and destroy utterly not just President Trump, but all Americans who still dare to oppose its sinister woke totalitarianism. In doing so, Leftists are revealing themselves, for all their rhetoric about how Trump and his supporters are fascists, to be quintessential fascists themselves.
This fact is all too often waved away by those who insist, quite correctly on one level, “They’re not fascists, they’re Communists.” The National Socialists of Germany strongly identified with Mussolini’s Fascists in Italy, and brawled on the street with the Communists. Hitler made his determination to destroy Communism in Europe a centerpiece of his agenda. So many assume that Leftists today, carrying the banner of Antifa, an organization that was born in 1920s street fights with the National Socialists, could not possibly be fascists.
Yet they can be and they are. Contrary to what many believe, being a Communist and a fascist is not a contradiction in terms, like being a Republican Democrat or an honest journalist. Communists and National Socialists were bitter enemies in Weimar Germany in large part because they were competitors in the same arena: in the late 1920s and early 1930s, they were the two major German parties that wanted to destroy the Weimar Republic and impose authoritarian rule. They just disagreed over who would be in charge.
They disagreed about more than that as well, of course. Marxism is based on total government control of the means of production, whereas the National Socialists, although they flirted with this idea in various ways for years before coming to power, allowed for private enterprise. However, this, too, was not as large a gap between the two as many people assume it to be. Hitler biographer Peter Longerich notes that “six months after the ‘seizure of power’ with its various upheavals, Hitler had reached a deal with German business, according to which their authority within their enterprises was increased in return for an agreement to submit to overall direction by the state.” The means of production were still privately owned, but they were wholly under the control of the National Socialist state.
This deal between Hitler and the German business titans was one of the principal reasons why his regime is called “fascist” at all. The word “fascist” comes from the Latin fasces, “bundles,” usually bundles of wooden rods. It might seem at first glance to be an odd name for a political movement, but the idea was that the disparate forces in society were bundled together in a unity of purpose and allegiance. Thus for the ancient Romans the fasces were a symbol of governmental authority, and from that Mussolini took the name of his movement. In ensuring that private businesses could remain private but had to work for the good of the state as a whole and under direction of the National Socialist government, Hitler was bundling together the titans of business, unifying them in service to his agenda.
So it is today. The social media giants and the Leftist government elites, the swamp that has reasserted its hegemony by installing Old Joe in the White House, are working in lockstep. The government doesn’t own the social media outlets, and it doesn’t have to: whether Big Tech is submitting to overall direction by the state or the state is submitting to overall direction by Big Tech, the outcome is the same: every major force in American society is marching in the same direction, while dissenters are stigmatized, demonized, framed for crimes they didn’t commit, silenced, and isolated.
Thus what we are seeing in the last few days, with the banning of the president of the United States from the main means of communication today, and the unity of purpose between the media, Big Tech, and the Democratic Party in propagating the Big Lie that Trump incited violence and attempted a coup on January 6, is fascism in action. And if the fascists aren’t stopped soon, what we have already seen will be just the beginning.

On the practical side you could be right, but by this kind of reasoning one should ask himself also what is the difference from absolute monarchy and dictatorship ? Communism and fascism have nothing to do with each others on the ideological side… There is a great misconception on equalizing different kind of society just because the are said to be “evil”, just because fascism and communism implemented on practical side, many times ended in authoritarian regimes and often in dictatorship. And real democracy is not much different either, despite all the rethoric surrounding it. At the time of Athens democracy was a form of aristocracy compared to our standard, most of the people would not be allowed to vote anyway. Also freedom of speech is not at all enforced in many “democratic” countries. Look at US, it is just an oligarchy, like China, Russia, EU, but pretending to be better than others.

Germans had their mines taken away . They did not have enough to eat . Germany’s port in Danzig was given to Poland. The inflation was galloping and to buy a loaf of bread one needed to carry a suitcase full of currency . Lot of Germans were kicked and beaten in the streets especially in Rhine Land . For those with breathing problems already, such as asthma, COPD, etc., it is more than a “small sacrifice” to wear a mask that has been proven not to make a bit of difference in the spread of a virus.
Masks inhibit breathing, which lowers the amount of oxygen in the blood…which oxygen is absolutely necessary for life…and this has been proven time and again by doctors.
Besides the sores in the mouth and nose, the fog of glasses so necessary for many…such as cab, bus, auto drivers…to drive safely.
The entire mask thing is a measure to control the populace.
In the beginning, they said ‘leave the masks for the medical’ professionals as the average person doesn’t know how to properly wear it anyway.
Suddenly, when masks became scarce and the costs soared, it was necessary to wear masks everywhere. Never mind that we “didn’t know how to wear them properly.”
And, because they inhibit breathing, they break OSHA regulations. But, just wait, biden will suddenly find that masks don’t help any more than lockdowns, and he will ‘free’ all of us because he’s going to only “mandate” them “nationally” for 100 days and then all will be fine and hunky dorry.

As for seatbelts: they have proven to be of benefit to those in the front seat of vehicles, but people in the back wearing them have been known to get broken backs during accidents. But, at least they benefit those in the front seat during accidents…unless the car catches fire or goes in the water and the wearer is unable to unlatch the buckle.

washing hands has always been a deterrent from passing germs…goes all the way back to when doctors discovered a link between new mothers and their babies dying because their doctors were handling dead people without washing their hands afterward. If one can catch this thing by hands, could it be that handling food products, and other items in stores that people have picked up and put back contribute?
As for “social distancing,”….the “virus” and germs are in the air…supposedly, they stay for quite some time. You pass by with the virus coming from your breath and out around your mask…if air can go in, air can go out…and a few minutes later, another person walks in the same spot…in a store or on the street…How do you know they don’t pick up your germs or virus droplets from the air as they breathe? Answer: You don’t know that they don’t.

Many posts here indicate to me that people know their history. I would like a lot more posts on how do we stop this from growing and getting rid of what is right now.
1) Did the Stop The Steal thing and that did not Stop The Steal.
2) SCOTUS ran and hid under the bed. There are stories going around that Roberts did much bullying to stop from having to hear the cases presented to them. Supposedly this was fear of rioting. The left was rioting already. If this is true, now the left knows they can bully the highest levels of government to bow to them.
3) All this run-off election business and double checking the counts did nothing. Using the same machines and counting methods was not the best way to go about this.
4) I keep reading more and more concrete evidence is being brought to light that the election was indeed stolen. Great!!!. Will it achieve the goal of bouncing Harris/Puppet Man out of office. I don’t mean impeachment. I mean walked out of the building and out to pasture.
5) Pence turned into a RINO tool. Pence back stabbed Uncle Sam.
6) CNN, the biggest CCP mouthpiece is running amok. Big Tech is right there with them.
I have some ideas: Write a lot of letters to your Reps and Senators. Demand in-person voting to be the main voting process. No computer voting. Not worth it. Demand that the rioters be held accountable. Demand that those Wash D.C. politicians that promoted violence be removed and do jail time like all the rest of us mere mortals.Remove those college profs that promote socialism and overthrow or Uncle Sam. Any other ideas.

The observations made in this article are some of the weightier reasons why I have been advocating for most of these big tech monopolies to be brought under Public Utility Regulation.
Their businesses started in the same manner as those currently under PUC regulation in each state, tht being something that was a novel and useful service that grew to be a necessity for most people.
Most of the Public Utilities that are under regulation are private companies with shares traded on a daily basis on the large exchanges, making the tech barons claims that “this is a private company” a red herring.
Most users consider the products/services of these companies to be a necessity in their daily lives, in particular those whose business model, either directly or through an employer, are dependent upon reliable and stable access to the various services.
If this isn’t accomplished soon the Tech Barons will have amassed so much power that they will be dictating to the states how the states ~will~ behave, both as governments and how they treat their citizens.
At that point we enter a new age of Techno-Feudalism, with the Tech Barons running the whole show.
