The Islamic State (ISIS) is Sunni; Soleimani was Shi’ite. Hamas is Sunni as well, but receives funding from Iran.
In any case, apostasy is a death penalty offense in Islamic law, so this is a serious charge. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)
A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.
This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”
“ISIS: Hamas ‘apostate’ for calling Soleimani a ‘martyr,’” JNS, January 7, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Islamic State (ISIS) weekly Al Naba ran an editorial on Jan. 1 criticizing fellow Sunni terror group Hamas for calling slain Shi’ite Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani a “martyr,” according to the Middle East Media Research Institute’s Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (MEMRI-JTTM).
The article, titled “When Netanyahu becomes Syria’s martyr,” begins by calling Hamas “apostate” for describing Iran and its allies who “kill Muslims in other countries, rape their women, destroy the homes over their heads and force hundreds of thousands of youths to disappear in prisons” as martyrs and jihadis.
The article asks how Hamas would react if Syrian factions were to declare Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “Syrian martyr,” and accuses the Gaza-based terror group of lauding Iran because it provides them with money and weapons….

Awesome – a dream come true! Hamas vs ISIS – who do I support? Anyone got a coin, here? ?
At any rate, I thought Iran had run dry of money, and that since the Syrian civil war started, Hamas switched support to Turkey!

Very good. Let them fight each other

This has to be good news. If these murderous vermin are fighting one another and killing one another, then maybe it’ll take their evil attention away from non-Muslims and reduce the number of non-Muslims that the Muslim scum murder. It’s like watching rival Mafia mobs killing one another when the Sunnis and Shiites tear into one another. Good riddance and, if they do actually tear into one another, then the human race will be improved to some degree.

One thing is certain. The more Islam attempts to fastidiously adhere to letter of the Quran, the more divided it becomes.
It isn’t just the death penalty for apostasy that keeps Islam alive, it’s also the hundreds of millions of Muslims who live a diet version of the Quran. If every Muslim embraced Surah 9 of the Quran – the last “command revelation” of that book which has no later abrogating revelations – a world war would be inevitable.

Ghasim was murderer of political prisoners in Iran, Rapist, and rapid courts to hang or kill masses with bulldozer on top of them.He killed a lot of American Soldiers, he was responsible for bombing of US troops in Saudi Arabia and Middle East. So what we know he paid good price. We praise Nations worked together for illuminations of him.Do not forget US troops in Iraq killed by bombings. Will strike on Iran is coming yet or delayed after election?

ISIS has a focused approach, and believes all Muslims need to come under the umbrella of a caliphate. Hence, attacking the west at this time, as in Iranian antics, is not desirable, because it wastes jihadis who “end up in prison” etc., and raises the ire of Western nations which are then drawn into the conflict prematurely. They would prefer resources including men, arms, etc. go into building up the caliphate, and dealing first with the local enemies, such as Israel, the more “Western” Arab nations, secular Arab states like Egypt and formerly Libya, etc.
There is also the religious divide. However, this may not be the only problem. Unwillingness to commit to a unified vision of one-world-under-Islam, combining political AND religious AND social Islam, is their bigger picture criticism, from what I’m gathering via the articles they keep sending out. They are throwing in with Turkey at this point, seeing the potential of greater feats if they can join forces and get the prophesied calliphate, which will lead to world Islam (there are some very interesting prophecies in Islam, and many zealous believers put stock in these things).
At some point, the disparate forces of Sunni and Shia could possibly cooperate long enough to do some damage in their region. I would not write that off as a possibility. Shared hatred of Israel is strong, for example. It would be an unstable union, but not impossible as a temporary venture. Who can say? Look back at the past 12 months. Did anyone foresee all that happened, and so fast? And is still unfolding? The swift enactments of tyranny and control of the masses through social media, media in general, state departments, certain turncoat-traitor types, law-makers, regional rulers and officials, etc.? The riots? “Cancel culture” and shunning? De-platforming? Robert Spencer has been warning about these things for years. So have many others. Still, did we know how swiftly that tide could change for the worse?
What a brutal religion Islam is, and much more than a religion. As a Christian, I know that Jesus inaugurated a kingdom, but of a much different kind. “Mohammed” or let’s say the originators, definitely saw something in Jewish and Christian belief systems, and copied many aspects. However, Islam is truly spread by the sword literally, not the “sword of the word of God” as in Christian belief. A very crude yet effective terror-fueled religion it is. And even if they ever did dominate the whole world to the point of nothing but Islam, THEN they would all destroy each other haggling over their sectarian visions of what Islam should be. In which case they will have destroyed just about everyone, including themselves.
