Anayah “said she has been the victim of hate crimes, threats and fixing since the allegations became public.”
Claiming victim status is a well-established response of Islamic supremacists whenever they are caught doing anything untoward. No one should threaten this person, or even insult her, or harm her in any way. And she shouldn’t be anywhere near a teaching position of any kind.
“Johns Hopkins teaching assistant suspected of lowering Jewish students’ grades,” by Stewart Ain, Forward, January 7, 2021:
Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore has launched a probe into allegations against a university teaching assistant for “alleged anti-Semitism and potential abuse of authority in the discharge of academic responsibilities on our campus.”
The campus Hillel is calling upon students to contact its office if they suspect the teaching assistant lowered their grade as an act of antisemitism.
Published reports have identified the teaching assistant as Rasha Anayah, who is also a graduate student in the chemistry department at Johns Hopkins. It is alleged that in a tweet she posted Nov. 15, she wrote, “ethical dilemma: if you have to grade a zionist students exam, do you still give them all their points even though they support your ethnic cleansing? Like idk.” When 77% of the respondents replied, “Free Palestine! Fail them,” she wrote, “like I agree but also too many of you want me to get fired.”
Howard Libit, executive director of the Baltimore Jewish Council, said to his knowledge none of Anayah’s students have complained about their grades as yet. The fact that Hillel waited until Jan. 6 to ask students if they believed their grade was unfair suggests that grades are only now being sent.
In an email to the Forward, Anaya [sic] said she has been the victim of hate crimes, threats and fixing since the allegations became public.
“In regards to my teaching and evaluation of students,” she wrote, “I have always acted with the utmost integrity and fairness. I am a dedicated teacher and scholar with a commitment to social justice and to my role. My record as a teaching assistant is a testament to these facts.”
Anayah’s Facebook page has either been deleted or restricted to a limited number of people….

What does “fixing” mean in this context?

I was wondering the same, Mark.

Maybe she is talking about beeing set up . The usual victimhood crap.

So, ms social justice warrior thinks that if she writes in a post “ethical dilemma: if you have to grade a zionist students exam, do you still give them all their points even though they support your ethnic cleansing? Like idk.” When 77% of the respondents replied, “Free Palestine! Fail them,” she wrote, “like I agree but also too many of you want me to get fired.”
And she thinks that there is nothing wrong because …” I am a dedicated teacher and scholar with a commitment to social justice and to my role” but…. she also said, “I agree” in regards to failing them. Now. If someone is a chemistry teacher they have no business grading on how they feel about the student’s religion, or affiliations. THAT is bigotry, that is Islam, that is the left. Of course she’d say she’s receiving threats. She should be asked to leave her teaching position, as she has spoken about feeling she should downgrade others due to religion. That is the definition of bigotry and the schools would jump on this and fire the T.A. if it was the opposite situation.

Exactly. Grading in the sciences is–or should be–*very* straightforward, and has nothing whatsoever to do with students’ views on other issues.

Typical projection on display here: Anayah quite plainly dislikes Jewish pupils – referring to them as “Zionists” – and claiming that they wish to “ethnically cleanse” her.
There is very little doubt that it is she who harbours genocidal thoughts about Jewish people, and not the other way round.
She then lies she “…always acted with the utmost integrity and fairness. I am a dedicated teacher and scholar with a commitment to social justice and to my role. My record as a teaching assistant is a testament to these facts.”
No, sweetheart – your record in using what you regard as abusive terms for Jewish people, and the fact that you were discussing using your position to harm them, is a testament to your commitment to the tenets of jihadism, and firm evidence that you should never be placed in a position of trust.

Right !
Even if she does not have an “ethical dilemma”, she still needs ethic cleansing.

Phil, She even admits to doing some dodgy stuff.
Her statement says she is “I am a dedicated teacher and scholar with a commitment to social justice”.
Given the twisted thought processes in her “ethical dilemma”, it would be obvious to Ray Charles that she has a mudslimes version of justice in mind, which includes the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people by whatever means necessary at the forefront of her actions and then playing the victim to cover her arse when she was found out.

Yes–this is just projection.

Using graduate students as instructors is an open invitation to political and religiously inspired abuse. Worst of all it is most prevalent at prestigious US Universities which have vast investments and holdings. It’s a terrible system that steals the undergrad’s research and study time while providing the major university with money that it should have spent to provide the highest quality instruction.
When a John Hopkins teaching assistant (“assistant” does all the teaching and grading) thinks being honest is an “Ethical dilemma” it is another indication that today’s universities are efficient fleecing and politicizing machines.
We can be thankful this “assistant” instructor’s expertise was in chemistry and not medicine at John Hopkins. Imagine her having an “ethical dilemma” while assisting with the care of a US President or Senator?

Ethnic Cleansing?’ The woman is a littlel confused. Ethnic cleansing is a Muslem goal. Ninety percent of the Jews who pass through her cassroom ae Aericans and Americans o not favor such a thing, they are opposed.

She put herself out there with a “dilemma” and then tried to take back what she had done. She put it out there because she wanted the Jewish students to know she was their “superior”.
Well, this child of satan needs a new dictionary.
She knows not the meaning of the words, “ethics,” “honesty,” “fairness.”
And “social justice,” is a term that has nothing whatsoever to do with “justice.”
Justice is based on Truth and Right. Justice has nothing to do with the idea that one should be given a lighter sentence in court if they have a darker skin color orclaim a certain religion; nothing to do with the idea that one should be promoted, given special privileges or believed just because they have a certain skin color or claim a certain religion. Justice doesn’t care if you know how to play victim and claim to be the object of discrimination if you rape or murder another.
Justice and social justice are two different animals. Social justice is a corruption of real Justice. So, with that and the islam thing going for her, she’s bound to do the wrong thing. She should lose her position and be kicked out of the U.
She is of the same mind and spirit as the moslim who was saying she would give her Jewish patients the wrong medicine. islam is evil and shows up in people like this,

Johns Hopkins University: Anti-Semitic Muslim teaching assistant accused of lowering Jewish students’ grades
………………..
Just appalling–and now *she* is claiming victimhood.
Véronique Bellamy says
Yeah, how dare we hold her accountable for her actions. She’s the victim. Not any Jewish students she has any supervisory authority over or the potential to be partnered with – she is.
… Just FYI, I’m being sarcastic. Also, why the fuck does she think black Jews don’t exist, let alone black Zionist Jews?
Giacomo Latta says
The only valid reason I have seen for allowing the wearing of a hijab or the like is to be immediately able to identify someone as muslim and, therefore, to immediately check if everything is on the up-and-up with regards to any dealings with those who are not muslims.
OLD GUY says
Knowing the hate muslim/islamic followers have you Jews and Christians one has to wonder why she has a position teaching at an American University. Oh wait I forgot the far left runs our universities so diversity out weighs everything else. Diversity of your population means allowing enemies of your society to infiltrate your country and home. Thats usually not a great plan.
Véronique Bellamy says
Bullshit. If she had “a commitment to social justice”, she wouldn’t even be joking about punishing students for standing with one of the most successful anti-colonialist projects around.
gravenimage says
Véronique, “Social Justice” seldom has anything to do with actual justice. It is a shorthand for leftist political correctness.
