Khamenei claims that the unrest in the U.S. is the work of Allah. The unrest in Iran, however, is not the work of Allah, but of the “global arrogance,” i.e., the U.S., and the “Zionist regime.” The inconsistency is never addressed.
“Iran’s supreme leader uses storming of the Capitol to ridicule the US and says it’s ‘God’s revenge’ for America sowing instability in Middle East,” by Rachel Bunyan, Mailonline, January 8, 2021:
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei today used the storming of the U.S. Capitol Building by Donald Trump supporters to ridicule the country and their ‘American values’.
Khamenei said the recent post-election chaos is ‘God’s revenge’ for the U.S. sowing instability in the Middle East.
His comments come after hundreds of Trump’s mob ransacked the seat of American democracy in a 15-hour saga that left four dead in a bid to demand Joe Biden’s election to be overturned.
Khamenei slammed the U.S. in a series of scathing tweets and said their ‘American values’ are being ‘ridiculed even by their friends’ following the riots.
He also claimed the country wanted to start a civil war in Iran in 2009, but the tables have now turned and ‘God has afflicted them’ with their own instability.
The Supreme Leader tweeted: ‘Have you seen the situation in the U.S.? This is their democracy and this is their election fiasco.
‘Today, the U.S. & ‘American values’ are ridiculed even by their friends.’
He added: ‘The US openly says its interests require instability in this region [the Middle East].
‘The U.S. wanted to start a civil war in Iran in 2009, and now God has afflicted them with the same predicament in 2021.
‘The recent chaos reached a point where Congress members had to escape through secret tunnels.’…

I think what saddens me the most is the cowardly behavior of our leaders in Congress.

Khamenei is absolutely right. allah DID start the civil war to take down America. allah in Hebrew means curse and surely satan lives up to his name.

Believe what you like.
CogitoErgoSum says
Personally, I don’t think that God curses people. People do as they wish and the results of their actions sometimes like curses.

I meant to say, “People do as they wish and the results of their actions sometimes seem like curses.

Actually, “Allah” does NOT mean “curse” in Hebrew. There is no equivalent word to so-called “Allah” in the Hebrew Bible. (I’m a Rabbi and a University Lecturer, so I know). The Hebrew word for “curse” is “haklela” הקללה – close, but no cigar.
Let’s keep the conversations FACTUAL please.
But I do agree that so-called “Allah” is the cause of the unrest in America, since so-called “Allah” is a masquerade for SATAN, who controls the Far-Left Democrat Party politicians.
May Adonai Elohim bless and protect America and expose ALL traitors. AMEIN.

sjosh, I don’t think that “Allah” was ever considered a goddess–although “Allah” *was* at one time considered to have daughters regarded as godesses. (see “The Satanic Verses”).

Daughter Of Former President Under Attack For Saying Trump Was Better For Iran
Former Iranian lawmaker Faezeh Hashemi, a pro-reform politician and an advocate of human rights in Iran has come under fire from both reformists and hardline conservatives for saying that a second Trump term could have led to positive changes in Iran.
Even her brother Mohsen Hashemi, who chairs the Tehran City Council, has called on Faezeh Hashemi to apologize for the comment she made in a recent interview with Ensaf News website.
Faezeh Hashemi said that if an American she would not have voted for Trump but that his re-election would have been good for Iran because Trump put pressure on the current leadership of the Islamic Republic for positive change.
“What problem has Qasem Soleimani’s performance solved for Iran?” she asked, referring to the Iranian general killed by a United States drone strike in Baghdad in January 2019.
Hashemi is the daughter of former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani who for years was a kingmaker in the Islamic Republic and the influential man who helped bring Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to power in 1989.

I would like to respectfully reply to “Shosh”.
In my first post on 12 January, I wrote:
“Allah” does NOT mean “curse” in Hebrew. There is no equivalent word to so-called “Allah” in the Hebrew Bible.
First, I agree that the word “le-ala” in Number 5:21 means “curse”.
Let me clarify that I was speaking about an Arab Muslim “god” by the so-called name “Allah”, not whether there is a similar-sounding word. I acknowledge I should have been clearer.
You are thinking about a similar-SOUNDING word – I was discussing a specific named “god”. This is not the same thing.
Second, the Arabic word “Allah” has no equivalent meaning in Hebrew, because it is the specific name of an Arab “god”. The Hebrew Bible nowhere says a specific Arab “god” by the so-called name “Allah” existed before the Bible was written, or during the Biblical period, or will exist future from the Bible. If it did, as an honest person I would believe that and accept it.
This does not mean one cannot find similar-SOUNDING words in any language, including Hebrew. But similarity of sound does not equal exact sameness. This is a common error people make.
One absurd example is that since in 1 Chronicles 21:1, the word “Satan” occurs, the “tan” part of the word supposedly is a reference to people getting a “tan”. It’s not. Or that people who get a “tan” are “Satanic”. They’re not (although – no doubt – some people think this).
Another absurd example is since Daniel “9:11” sounds like “9-11”, then Daniel “9:11” is supposedly a reference to 9-11-2001. It’s not.
Third, the FULL Hebrew word in Numbers 5:21 is “le-ala” לאלה. Yes, I know it “sounds” similar, but this does not make it the same, and they are also spelled differently – “ala”, not “Allah”. Similarity of sound does not equal exact sameness. This is a common error people make.
Fourth, in Numbers 5: 22-23, the same spelled wordהאלה is pronounced “ha-ele”; so the theory that “le-ala” in Numbers 5:21 is a reference to the so-called “Allah” of Islam falls apart even further.
Fifth, the word “le-ala” לאלה (and all its variants) is found in 16 places in the Hebrew Bible: Numbers 5:21-23; Deuteronomy 29:19-20; 30:7; Judges 17:2; Isaiah 24:6; Jeremiah 29:18; Psalm 10:7; 59:12(13); Proverbs 29:24; Job 31:30; Daniel 9:11; Nehemiah 10:29(30); 2 Chronicles 34:24.
In ALL these contexts, the discussion is about actual curses. It was therefore not intention of the Jewish writers to give the name of a future false “god”, the so-called “Allah”. Check the context for yourself – don’t just take my word for it.
Sixth, the variants of “le-ala” (ha-ele, aleha, alit, be-ala, ha-ala, ha-alot) can also mean “to utter, invoke, bewail, or lament”, depending on the context – not just “curse”.
Sixth, the variants of “le-ala” (ha-ele, aleha, alit, be-ala, ha-ala, ha-alot) can also mean “to utter, invoke, bewail, or lament”, depending on the context – not just “curse”.
Seventh, (I’m NOT saying you are doing this) honest persons would never stretch, shrink, or twist the Bible, or rip a word out of context, in order to provide ourselves with supposed “evidence” of a pre-existing view they have. This would be inappropriately reading into the Bible one’s beliefs – rather than appropriately pulling out from the Bible what is already there. If an assumption cannot be proved by using the Bible honestly and contextually, without torturing the Bible, then it is a false assumption.
Eighth, (I’m NOT saying you are doing this) some people (in other places) are trying to be “clever” by trying hard to supposedly “prove” that “Allah” means “curse”, in order to denigrate so-called “Allah”. They are wasting their time.
The GREATEST, the Creator of the Universe and the Earth, YHVH Adonai Elohim, said in Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me”. (See also Deuteronomy 4:35-39)
Therefore, the false “god” with the name “Allah” is already cursed by HIM who is the GREATEST, the Creator of the Universe and the Earth, YHVH Adonai Elohim. End of story.
We can honestly say “YHVH Adonai Elohim Akbar”, because HE is GREATER than so-called “Allah”. Jeremiah 10:10 says, “But YHVH is the true God; He is the living God and the Everlasting King. At His wrath the Earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation”.
Ninth, it still stands that the modern Hebrew word for “curse” is “haklela” הקללה , not “Allah”.
Adonai bless you Shosh.

Just interesting how the G-d above all gods has HIS words lined up to describe the gods of the nations. For example: Hamas means violence….
It’s either uncanny or coincidence to some people how Hebrew captures the true qualities of false gods and their works among men, but those who know the MOST HIGH G-D understand there is no such thing as coincidence, especially in Hebrew.
חמס Hamas is Hebrew meaning violence….coincidence….never ….the G-d of Israel is way
smarter than any such occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection
The enemy of our G-d cannot match wits with the Most High but he can convince men to question the Truth. Yeshua is Adonai and is proven by all the prophets especially Yeshayahu Isaiah 53 which is never read in any shul….lama ???

Believe it or not, I actually totally agree with your last post Shosh.
