Once again, Pakistan’s Islamic blasphemy laws are unleashed against a Christian. 25-year-old Raja Warris is now in police custody after having to endure Muslim mob rage which included threats to “set fire to homes,” as well as threats to behead him. Nothing could calm them. His wife and two children had to be put in a safe house.
Warris “apologized to the Muslims in person, saying he had shared the post for academic understanding between Christians and Muslims.” He is now experiencing firsthand the effects of “understanding between Christians and Muslims.” What all too many Muslims are doing to religious minorities on a daily basis is evident everywhere, amid endless happy “dialogue” sessions throughout Western countries that ignore the ugly truth. On top of the ordeal Warris has faced, he now faces up to three years in prison.
A local Christian bishop warned:
“Christians especially need to be more careful in sharing content, because any faith-based post could be used to instigate violence against the community,” he said. “We need to understand that Islamic religious sentiments run high in our country, therefore it’s important to carefully analyze the content before posting it online.”
“Christian Lay Leader Arrested on Blasphemy Charges in Pakistan,” Morning Star News, January 5, 2021:
LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News) – A 25-year-old Christian is in police custody in Lahore, Pakistan after he shared another person’s post critical of Islam on his Facebook page, sources said.
Hundreds of Muslims converged on Raja Warris’ neighborhood in the Charar area of Lahore on the night of Dec. 26, threatening to behead the outreach lay leader and set fire to homes unless police arrested him, said the Rev. Ayub Gujjar, vice moderator of the Raiwind Diocese of the Church of Pakistan.
“The incident took place after Warris shared a post on Facebook on Dec. 22, which was deemed blasphemous by local Muslims,” Gujjar told Morning Star News.
Warris apologized to the Muslims in person, saying he had shared the post for academic understanding between Christians and Muslims and did not mean to offend any Muslims, and the issue appeared to be resolved – temporarily, Gujjar said.
“On Dec. 26, we were informed by our congregation members in Charar that a huge mob had gathered in the locality on the call of a cleric affiliated with the extremist religio-political outfit, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan [TLP], and were demanding the beheading of the catechist,” Gujjar said. “Fearing violence, hundreds of Christian residents fled their homes while around 400 anti-riot policemen were deployed in the area to thwart violence.”
When Gujjar and other local church elders reached the Defence-A Police Station to meet with the assistant superintendent of police, a large mob gathered outside the premises and chanted slogans against Christians, he said. Officers insisted that church leaders hand Warris into their custody to cool tempers.
“We sought time for negotiation with the protest leaders, but the police said they could not guarantee the safety of our people if the accused was not presented for arrest,” Gujjar said. “We reluctantly agreed to bring Warris but demanded that he be kept at an undisclosed location due to the serious threat to his life.”
Police on Dec. 27 registered a First Information Report (No. 1122/20) against Warris under Section 295-A and Section 298-A of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws and showed it to the mob leaders, who then called off the siege, Gujjar said.
Section 298-A provides for up to three years in prison for derogatory remarks about a “holy personage,” in this case Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, and Section 295-A calls for up to 10 years in prison for “deliberate and malicious acts intended to outreach religious feelings.”
Police have relocated Warris, his wife and two children to a safe house for their security, Gujjar said.
Church leaders have engaged with Muslim clergy in attempts to restore calm and extricate Warris from the case, said Bishop of Raiwind Diocese Azad Marshall.
“Warris is an educated youth who loves to serve God,” Marshall told Morning Star News. “I was deeply concerned about the situation in Charar, as any wrong action could have resulted in violent riots that could have put the lives of our people at risk. We immediately got in touch with senior government and police officials, which helped in restoring order in the neighborhood, and fortunately no loss of life and property was reported.”
Marshall said the incident highlights the need for “responsible use” of social media in Pakistan.
“Christians especially need to be more careful in sharing content, because any faith-based post could be used to instigate violence against the community,” he said. “We need to understand that Islamic religious sentiments run high in our country, therefore it’s important to carefully analyze the content before posting it online.”…

‘RAGE’ is a virtue in Islam.
Ghayra or Gheera or Gheyrah in Islam means ‘protective jealousy or rage’. The Salafi scholar Muhammad Al-Munajjid indicates that the concept of GHEERA also applies to protecting Mohammed from blasphemy. Any private Muslim is free from punishment whenever he executes someone who insults or demeans Mohammed or Islam. Thus, any private Muslim may execute blasphemers with or without a fatwa if the state fails to execute. This is normative Sharia law.
Ghayrah (sometimes transliterated as ghayra, ghira, gheerah or gheera) is an Arabic word which means a person’s dislike of another’s sharing in a right (which belongs to the former). It has a sense of earnest zeal over something and can be considered a kind of protective jealousy. In Islam, there are different kinds of ghayrah: that which relates to Allah and Mohammed and which relates to a Muslim. Allah’s discontent is with sharing the obedience of his servant which rightfully belongs to him. For a Muslim it is the rage in his heart which moves him to guard his family from indecency and to kill in the name of honor.
The concept of ghayrah is the source of honor killings in the Islamic world (and a motive for jihad in general), but one Salafi scholar, Muhammad Al-Munajjid, agrees with the concept and asserts that punishment of any crime is reserved for the Islamic ruler. But scholars from Al Azhar university have said that if the state fails to punish a blasphemer or apostate, then ‘someone has to do it.’
It can be seen, then, that BERZERK RAGE for Islam is considered an essential virtue for Muslims and a normative part of jihad, rather than an aberration.

Ah wow nice to know the other spellings, I see enough of them stomping down on social media as is. If a niqabi cloaked wife is on a trampoline I’ve seen their scolding for lack of modesty in front of men online I wondered if it was a choking hazard.

You are not being overbearing if you first encourage and then enforce the hijab on your womenfolk because YOU will be asked about it on the Day of Judgement and it is also a major sin upon you! It is upon the men to enforce these things in their homes and you cannot use the excuse that your wife didn’t want to. Women need a firm, balanced, guiding hand from their men, so with wisdom you must enforce hijab in your home. You are a shepherd and are responsible for your flock!

Its called Supremacy. No Supremacist org can co-exist with the diverse world. How much longer do we have to put up with Supremacy. Freedom cannot allow any Supremacy because of course, Supremacy means no one else allowed and will kill freedom. I guess we will have another war like against Hitler but it will not be so easy.

What’s now happening in Pakistan concerning this Christian who was arrested as threatened with death by an angry Muslim mob for sharing a Facebook post that was critical of Islam is further proof that Islam ,in essence, is such a weak and fragile religion that it can’t hold up to or stand up to any criticism at all, No matter how mild that criticism might be.
Furthermore, in classical work of ancient Greek literature, by Plato, entitled THE APOLOGY OF SOCRATES it in written that Socrates had said that “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Likewise, in may also be said that “An unexamined religion is not worth believing in.” This is said about all religions. Yet to be specific, in this case, the topic is about the religion of Islam. Furthermore, one man who was as a former a Muslim and had lived in one of the Islamic nations of the Middle East but now he is Christian and an American citizen had explained in a book he wrote that “Driving into depths of the word of reasoned thinking and research in Islamic societies has always been costly. Some Muslim who have done this have even been excluded from their social rights and even sentenced to death.” [1]

Of course it’s perfectly legal in Paki land for the mob to insult Christianity.

Also true, John. This all goes one way in Islam.
Walter Sieruk says
That hateful and malice-filled Muslim mob that want to kill the Christian man for sharing a Facebook post that is critical of Islam is blanent reminder about Muslim being chained in the cave of Islam.
This may be explained by the Greek philosopher Plato is one of the contributors to Western Civilization. He may shed some light into the subject of those people who are shackled in the chains and darkness of Islamic thought. In Plato’s REPUBLIC he gave an allegory of a cave where “the condition of men living in a sort of cavernous chamber…Here they have been from childhood, chained by leg and also by the neck, so that they cannot move and see only what is in front of them.” This can fit into what the Imams do in the mosques and how they brainwash the young people in the madrassas by always programming Islamic doctrine into their victims and not exposing them to other worldviews.
Furthermore, even in Islamic tradition when Muslims have their newborn child the father whispers words of the Quran into the infants ear so that that Quran verses are the first thing the newborn person hears. This programming process takes place all their lives. These are some of the chains that keep them bound in a mosque [cave]. The chains do not let them reach out for dialectic reasoning and let them examine the evidence both for as well as against, or even question whether Muhammad was a true prophet of God or not, and if the Quran is a hoax or not. As the chains and darkness of the cave blinds and holds the prisoners back from reality, so Islamic propaganda holds back the cognition to reason with the question if Islam is true or not.
They are forbidden from even thinking to question Islam. Furthermore, if a Muslim by some miracle wakes up to the truth about Islam, it would be like the man in Plato’s cave allegory who was released from his chains and taken outside to the real world. At first direct light would be painful and disorienting, it would take some time for him to understand what the truth is all about, he even might cling to the shadows and still for a time believe some of the illusions to be real. But he would finally come to know “what he had formerly seen was meaningless illusion.” And that was “what passed for wisdom in his former dwelling place.”And that the other cave prisoners also needed to see the light [the truth] for he “was sorry for them.” and he would re-enter the cave just to rescue them.
Nevertheless, the cave prisoners wouldn’t understand and “if they could lay hand on the man who was trying to set them free.” And if they could “they would kill him.” Likewise, when someone escapes from the shackles of Islam, those still in the darkness of this religion would not understand and if possible kill him for leaving Islam, and even more so if he were to try to enlighten them about the truth about Islam. For these people in Islam are chained to an empty imitation of truth and godliness.

I think even if the chains were removed, most still would not come out. We see it here in US.

Diversity, try convincing a muslim/islamic country that they need to be diverse. You might get your head cut off. But not to worry places like Saudi Arabia won’t let you visit and don’t even think about bringing a bible.
So the question is why do the liberals want these islamic hate us people in our country in the name of diversity. There appears to be enough hate here already why bring in more?
