My latest in PJ Media:
If you were planning to try to get away from the madness for a couple of hours with an escapist film, cross Wonder Woman 1984 off your list. It is no longer acceptable to the woke. According to a young gentleman named Farid-ul-Haq (who has, we’re told, “a Double Masters in Psychology and Biotechnology as well as an M.Phil in Molecular Genetics” and “is the author of numerous books”), Wonder Woman 1984 “features Islamophobia.” If you didn’t notice, don’t be concerned: no one else did either, other than Farid-ul-Haq himself, but you better notice now, or else.
That is because even though Farid-ul-Haq himself confesses that he “didn’t pick up on the blatant Islamophobia during my initial viewing,” he is now so sure it exists that he declares: “At this point, if you’re out there supporting Wonder Woman 1984 while ignoring or excusing certain narrative issues, I don’t know what to say to you.” Ah, the tribulations of the righteous!
Oddly enough, Farid-ul-Haq’s article on this in The Geekiary features this prominently: “This piece contains minor spoilers for Wonder Woman 1984. Consider yourself warned.” But how could that pious gang of geeks have ever thought that anyone would want to see this vicious hate screed masquerading as a major motion picture after reading Inquisitor Farid-ul-Haq’s heresy warning?
The “Islamophobia” that eagle-eyed Farid-ul-Haq finally found after several viewings of Wonder Woman 1984 apparently first appears in “an action sequence” during which “Maxwell Lord goes to meet Emir Said Bin Abydos and take over his oil empire. The Muslim character’s wish is to construct a wall and regain control of his ancestral land.”
Ah yes, you see, this is “Islamophobic,” because as everyone knows, only evil people ever want to build walls.
But it wasn’t just that. Also, “during the final moments, the movie also had a character in mujahideen-looking garb wishing for nuclear weapons,” yet “this movie didn’t have a single Muslim character playing the role of a good guy,” which Farid-ul-Haq says “felt weird” since “the first Wonder Woman had a Muslim character be one of Diana’s friends.”
There is more. Read the rest here.

Pathetic. Double Masters, Biotechnology, PhD in Molecular Genetics, and he writes in a comic book review? I call BS!
Sam. says
I call what you say a BS, because, if Farid-ul-Haq was a jew, you would have praised as a great genius , but because he is a Muslim, no matter how good, successful, for people like you, the hate (fuls), you will invent lies to portray him as a bad human … shut up, it’s better for humanity.
Mick McCall says
Surprise, you’re a bigot.
gravenimage says
What tosh. How is noting this constant Muslim whinging–and its frequent accompanying calls for censorship and violence–“hate (fuls)”? And what in this article about Farid-ul-Haq is untrue? Of course, “Sam.” has got nothing
James Sesame says
Islam forbids women in any but the most subordinate roles. Hijab mandatory! Islamaphobua is so OBVIOUS in Wonder Woman of any year as there is no Islamic wonder woman whatsoever.
This Farid character is a muslim so her hates the movie before he even sees it & is so blinded by the obvious Islamophobia in his mind & heart that he sees red constantly.
Christian Bible has Esther & Mary & so on wonder women. Koran, nothing.
Sarah Littlefield says
Especially since she is a Jew, an Israeli Jew.
Rob R (Brit stuck in Britainistan) says
To me it’s just another comic book hero film… this time, starring Chris Pine who is a lame actor even by current Hollywood standards.
To Muslims apparently it’s a KKK-style propaganda film lol.

When I start caring what some islamovermin thinks about anything, I’ll let you know.

Took a look on Amazon Books, and Barnes and Noble. Amazon lists three books by
Farid-ul-Haq: “The Swamp”, “Somerville Mysteries – The Missing”, and “Colville – The Secret – The Swamp”. Barnes and Noble has nothing by this author. Why oh why am I not surprised???

If it was “blatant”…a.k.a. very obvious…why did he not see it on his “first viewing”?
Some people see danger where there is none. Others don’t see danger when it’s staring them in the face.
The optimist sees good without having to actually look for it. The pessimist sees trouble without having to actually look for it.
The moslim sees the dreaded, non-existent “phobia” wherever he looks, because he wants to see it. This one had to keep watching the movie…the one with the dreaded disease in it…in order to find the dreaded disease. So he could complain about it and make a big deal out of nothing.
He obviously wanted to see it and that is why he kept watching and looking…so he could find it and point it out to everyone as “blatant.”
Which reminds me of something Jesus said about the Pharisees “gulping down the camel and gagging/choking on the gnat.” (Not His exact words.)
moslims are taught to welcome, encourage, accept, like, lust for….murder, rape and a whole host of other evils. But they just can’t stand hearing or seeing the Truth.
Everyone who likes to go see new movies, everyone who likes the WW stories, should go and spend the time…if they can in this age of lock em up at home…and post their likes on every platform. Make this creep squirm.

The governments of the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, etc.
And ALL of the Democrats who voted for Biden/Harris…
Wellington says
Seconded, James. I find myself in a very unforgiving mood and mode respecting all the fools who actually did vote for Biden/Harris. Frankly, I can’t respect any of them. Particularly idiotic are the “average Americans” who voted for Biden/Harris, clueless that it was Trump looking out for them and not the elitist and snobbish Democratic hierarchy. Talk about dumb.
Darrell Pack says
i think that Trump hatred is largely a way for leftists to cover up their antipathy toward America
Infidel says
Darrell, you hit the nail on the head. The reason people hate Trump is not b’cos of any of his perceived ‘shortcomings’: it’s b’cos of their thinly disguised contempt for this country

Put Down That Popcorn and Back Away from the Theatre: ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Contains ‘Islamophobia’
…………………
Farid-ul-Haq had to watch this movie several times to notice that supposed blatant “Islamophobia”. Oh, the humanity!
The movie’s gotten mixed reviews, but this bs makes me *more* likely to watch it.
And of course what Muslims *really* hate is that it has a strong heroine–and that she is played by Israeli actress Gal Godot.
Jeff Gonez says
Bingo!

Farid-ul-Haq says that “this movie didn’t have a single Muslim character playing the role of a good guy,” This film therefore must be made in the style of hyper-realism. Farid-ul-Haq is probably feeling guilty for fancying lovely Gal Gadot.
gregbeetham says
The Wonder woman movie wasn’t on my to do list at all, but I was considering reversing that once someone found some hitherto unsuspected Islamaphobia in it, but no I’m pretty sure I can still avoid watching it just the same.
Bad Penguin says
Funny how he didnt consider a scantily clad WOMAN single handedly kick the camel AND goat crap out of a lot of heavily armed muslim men islamaphobic.
Giacomo Latta says
A woman amounting to more than half a man? Totally unislamic! It seems the only fiction muslims can handle is the koran. So why do they bother commenting on fiction? Must things in a land that does not even exist be Islamic? They sure know how to waste their own time.
gravenimage says
They just want to force the entire world to enforce Shari’ah law.
Kesselman says
Even that I’m an avowed Islamophobe sometimes a phobia can be partly justified (as Farid-ul-Haq probably knows as a psychologist et al). And my phobia always proves justifiable.—They’re the scum of the earth, the mozzies, uneducated ignoramuses, left-overs from the sex they have with their cousins. If you see a Muslim call the cops. Haul him off to the hospital. To the loonie hospital. To the hospital for zombies.
James Lincoln says
According to the feature article:
Farid-ul-Haq stated: “this movie didn’t have a single Muslim character playing the role of a good guy…”
So he wants Hollywood to push a false narrative regarding muslims…
OLD GUY says
What doesn’t contain islamophobia anymore. Or offend B.L.M. or a.n.t.i.f.a or any other cancel culture group? Muslims just can’t stand the truth about Muhammad and Islam so they want to change history, but they seem to forget that Islam’s atrocities against others is in the news everyday around the world now.
Terry Smith says
Could be a troll account… causing some woke on woke action. Feminist superhero islamophobic. Who’s side to chose…haha

Terry, Farid-ul-Haq is as real person–he is just a Muslim supremacist.

There are a lot of good and very funny comments up above. I got a laugh out of several of them. There’s always someone offended by every bloody thing these days. And, of course, especially those whingeing, whining Muslims, the all time champions at taking offence and playing the victim, until they gain power and treat all non-Muslims like crap. I think Muslims should stay in their own shitty countries, never have anything to do with civilised, non-Muslim cultures, never watch non-Muslim, western movies or read non-Muslim, western books, etc, and then Muslims should be happy and not be offended by all that non-Muslim “Islamophobia”, and we non-Muslims wouldn’t have to have anything to do with barbaric islam, so it would be a huge win win situation. All these constantly offended idiots these days seem to be trying to make it impossible for people to just watch a movie, read a book, etc, and enjoy themselves for a couple of hours.

Thanks for the +1, Jai. It surely would be a more pleasant world for non-Muslims if the Muslims would just stay in their own Muslim hellholes (er, Muslim paradises) and would leave us alone to enjoy life.
gravenimage says
Agree, Tim.
tim gallagher says
If only, gravenimage. What a pleasant life it would be if Muslims would stay in their Muslim countries. Unfortunately, it’ll never happen because Muslims are always going to be invading non-Muslim countries and trying to impose their primitive, barbaric garbage on everyone. On the broader issue, it does seem these days as if someone is bound to be offended at everything. I ignore their whining and just enjoy movies or books or whatever else that I enjoy.

I saw WW84 last night. I wish WW would shut up. (that’s an inside joke about the movie).. This movie has everything thrown into the sauce – arabs, corrupt preachers, madmen, scheming women, some crytals with magical powers, president reagan nuttery, preachiness; it just goes on and on. Awful. And the Arabs were a lot more respectable than all the other groups this crazy movie director/script writer threw in. Special effects all over the place cannot save this movie.
gravenimage says
Sounds about like what I’ve heard…
Bezelel says
I watched Wonder Woman 84 already, I didn’t notice any anti islamic scenes. I did notice how arousing Gal Gadot is regardless of the movie the dialogue the plot, all of which I could care less for except it’s another excuse to see her wear her costume.
