My latest in PJ Media:
“What will happen next is obvious,” wrote Ben Domenech in the Transom: “A total crushing anti-Free Speech effort that treats Trump-supporting groups like Branch Davidians.” Indeed. In fact, it has already begun: on Thursday morning, according to journalist Walter Bloomberg, “Trump Organization’s http://TrumpStore.com Is Taken Offline by Shopify; Trump Campaign’s Ecommerce Site Is Also Closed by Shopify; Shopify Says It Closed Websites Associated With President Trump After Riot at Capitol.”
Not being familiar with either Shopify or the Trump Store and wanting to see what kinds of things it sold, I clicked on the link in Bloomberg’s tweet, only to get the notice that “This shop is unavailable.” Apparently the Trump Store website is run through Shopify, which describes itself as “the all-in-one commerce platform to start, run, and grow a business,” unless, apparently, one’s political views are undesirable.
So while I was unable to discover what exactly the Trump Store sells, I rather doubt that it’s balaclavas, Molotov cocktail mix, and maps to the Capitol. The people who work for the Trump Store have nothing to do with President Trump’s claimed incitement of mob violence at the Capitol yesterday. They are now essentially being deprived of a livelihood, at least temporarily, because the political and media establishment would have us believe that anything associated with Donald Trump is irremediably tainted. Shopify and its ilk seem to be working from the assumption that allowing anything connected with Trump a platform is apparently tantamount to accepting and even propagating the noxious brew of racism, xenophobia and “hate” that is all support for Trump is about, as far as they’re concerned.
Shopify is clearly just the beginning. Also on Thursday, Rick Klein, political director at ABC, tweeted: “Trump will be an ex-president in 13 days. The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleansing the movement he commands is going to be something else.” Klein didn’t say how he proposed to “cleanse” Trump supporters. Special showers, maybe? Or is it just our brains that he wants to wash? In any case, Klein is just the latest prominent Leftist to call for the reeducation of Trump supporters, and it is worth noting that neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris, nor any other Democrat leader, has dismissed, much less condemned, this idea.
There is more. Read the rest here.

Shopify Bans Trump Store. Has the Marginalization of Trump Support Begun?
……………..
I believe it has. Twitter has said it is permanently banning the President’s account:
“Twitter Permanently Suspends President Trump’s Account Ahead Of Inauguration Day”
https://www.npr.org/2021/01/09/955191921/twitter-permanently-suspends-president-trumps-account-ahead-of-inauguration-day
I doubt these two cases will be the last of silencing not just the President, but all of those conservative on any matters.
Infidel says
I have long argued that conservatives and others on the right should leave these woke platforms proactively to other alternatives, be it Gab, Parler or anything else. Brad Parscale once made the bizarre argument that Gab doesn’t have an app! Fine set of priorities, never mind that it’s a lot easier to type on a laptop rather than a phone, All the big names on the right, starting from the president on down, just stayed on Twitter until they began the humiliation of banning him. And now, when they’re moving to Parler, Parler is seeing its app removed from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store
I also blame the GOP and the president for not getting to this abuse by tech companies until it became 2020: this should have been a 2017 project for them, since it’s something that affects us all, wherever we live. For years, Twitter and Facebook just banned whoever they felt like, and no one in DC thought it worth pulling them up on it, since they were all being paid off by ‘Big Tech’* lobbyists. Now, they’re being massacred en masse by Twitter and all these other companies, and there is no GOP majority in the legislature or executive any more to stand up to this!
I’m not sure that the GOP is worth supporting any more. After January 20th, I hope that President Trump declares that he’s leaving the GOP, and takes all the serious ones w/ him. Don’t accept the Lindsay Grahams, the Mick Mulvaneys, the Kelly Loefflers (incidentally, I’m glad they lost: given how easily she turned on the president, she didn’t deserve to win). I know the arguments that have traditionally been made about third parties, but I’m not sure that holds any more. It’s a lot harder to primary people – even bad people like Ben Sasse – than it is to challenge them from outside. Trump did get a lot of the House converted to his way of thinking, and should work on the senators
* Talking about Tech, I remember when it referred to companies actually doing serious engineering work, like faster networking equipment, more refined operating systems, advances in chip manufacturing and so on. Today, it means nothing more than people who take ordinary ideas online: the idea of companies like Twitter, Facebook, Uber, AirBnB, Shoppify, et al being Tech companies when they are nothing but glorified websites probably riding on AWS is just an insult to the industry that I once worked in. The most ‘techie’ thing I’ve seen in recent weeks are Dominion machines and algorithms, which move votes from one candidate to another after determining how much is needed to flip it around: only bug – whoever designed it left out the part to round the numbers up or down to the nearest whole number, so that you don’t have fractional votes
GreekEmpress says
Infidel,
I really enjoy reading your posts and would like to ask your opinion on ranked voting like they have in Maine, and now, I hear Alaska.
Infidel says
Ranked voting is fine, if that’s what a state voted for. My issue is w/ things like unverified mail-in ballots, shifting voting deadlines, changing the election rules in the middle of an election, voting machines that have algorithms in them, rather than do a simple count throughout the voting process and just output the results when polls close, voter ID laws and removal of illegitimate votes
Daniel Triplett says
You have great insights; here’s something you may want to consider about forming a separate party though:
The Republican Party neither belongs to nor is it defined by a small handful of RINOs and Never-Trumpers in Washington DC. The Republican Party belongs to and is defined by the 75,000,000 Trump supporters all across America. So, if anyone should leave the party, it’s not Trump supporters.
But, we don’t want anyone to leave the Republican Party anyway. It’s hard enough to defeat the Democrat Party as is. Democrats are growing demographically faster than Republicans. On top of that, Democrats have figured out how to cheat and steal elections.
Much better than Republicans, Democrats circle the wagons and stick together for a common cause. If the Republican Party fractures and balkanizes while the Democrats stick together, Democrats are guaranteed to win 100% of all elections from now on.
Infidel says
Thank you for your thoughts on this. Talking about the Dems first, they are as divided as we are. There are the socialists of the Bernie-AOC types, there are the race baiters, there are the open-borders types: incidentally, the last 2 are largely Black-lobbies and Hispanic-lobbies, both vying for control of the party. And there are the pander-to-islam-abroad types, like Ilhan Omar, who wanna make the US join the jihad against Israel. As AOC once said, in no other country would she and Biden belong to the same party. Already, I can see them fighting over the spoils: they’re not disciplined enough to stay united
I do disagree w/ you that we don’t want anyone to leave the GOP. I don’t want to pretend that I belong to the same party as Ben Sasse, who at the behest of Paul Singer, looked the other way while a small town in his state was ripped apart by the latter, who took over a company (Bass Pro Cabelas) and offshored all the jobs there: today it’s a ghost town (Tucker Carlson covered it in one of his shows). Or Mitt Romney, whose company belonged to that class of companies that would offshore most operations in order to cut costs, and outsource most operations to focus on their ‘core competencies’
Problem w/ such coalitions is that one faction or the other has to water down their agenda, and in the case of the GOP, the winners have been the Hedge Funds, the Military-Industrial complex (which is why we couldn’t pull out of countries like Germany, where we have no business being), the K-street lobbyists (which is why elected representatives dragged their feet on Big Tech censorship). Or for that matter, cowardly institutions that went woke last summer in support of the war against ‘racism’, which was code for BLM burning down our cities. This coalition has not been working, and now that we’re out of power, it’s the perfect time to sort things out. The republicans in congress who refused to stand up for a fair election need to be disowned. Either that, or we should leave the party: there ain’t room for both of us
Keep in mind that a lot of those 75 million include independents, Libertarians, Constitutional party supporters, Reform Party supporters and so on, who only voted for the GOP b’cos of Trump. Suddenly, the party is all prepared to get rid of him, w/ a section of senators willing to defect to impeach him so that he can’t run again. We need to walk out of that charade of a coalition, put together a new party and start building. I’d be more than happy to see whether what’s left of the GOP comes second or third in the elections in 2022 and 2024
Daniel Triplett says
Well, you have some fair points. And I agree with you about the disparate factions and competitive infighting within the Democrat Party. But when it comes to defeating Republicans, they’re a rock solid bloc, united to use any means necessary, to include partywide criminal conspiracy for election fraud. They have a collective rotten conscience, and will never narc on or betray each other when it comes to destroying Republicans.
I share your anger and am livid about the lack of fight from Senate/House Republicans about the election fraud, and how many spineless backstabbing Republicans threw Trump under the bus on January 6. You’d never see Democrats doing that if the situation was reversed.
I want to burn alive at the stake every single GOP Senator and Congressman who didn’t vote to reject the Electoral Votes from the 7 battleground states in dispute. Aside from a handful of rock solid patriots like Cruz, Hawley, Ron Johnson, Jim Jordan, and a few others, the majority of Republicans on Capitol Hill on January 6 shamefully turned their backs on America. And Mike Pence, good Lord what a massive disappointing failure he was at the end when his country needed him the most.
Perhaps though, instead of surrendering the GOP to that shameful caucus of fools, we should instead primary every one of them and replace them with patriots who represent the 75,000,000 MAGA Republicans.
Like you said, the coalitions in place require compromise and a “watering down”, as you put it, of the preferred agenda. You mentioned Ross Perot and the Reform Party in 1992, and suggested we could do something like that, and with purity tests only allow like-minded people who share the same uncompromised agenda. But as you know, the consequence of Ross Perot was a President Bill Clinton. Democrats win. Republicans lose. I myself disgracefully voted for Ross Perot in that election, the only time I haven’t voted Republican in my life; I’ve regretted it ever since, and shamefully share in the responsibility of putting a Democrat in the White House that year. But I learned a tough lesson. We all did.
Another example would be German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Germany doesn’t have 2 major parties like we, instead they have 6, along with 2 dozen minor parties. All the parties have purity test membership and uncompromised agendas. The major party you and I would like is the Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) Party. It’s Right-wing Populist and unabashedly anti-Islam/anti-Muslim.
Merkel’s CDU/CSU coalition party never gets more than 33% of the vote, but because the other major parties only get 21%; 13% (AfD); 11%; 9%; and 9%, Merkel has been winning elections for the last 15 years. If the other parties would relax their purity tests and compromise a bit on their agendas to form a coalition themselves, they could easily defeat Merkel. But because the can’t, or won’t, Germany and indeed the entire EU is rapidly collapsing into the Islamic abyss at the hands of the megalomaniacal arrogant ignorant disaster of an idiot Merkel.
We don’t want to be like Germany. We don’t want to cede more power and leverage to the Democrat Party than they already have. Fracturing the Republican Party may have that consequence.
I guess we can see how the dust settles over the next 6 months, and collectively analyze and discuss best options going forward. For one thing, if Democrats try impeaching Trump in the next 2 weeks, every Republican in America will be infuriated and fired up, which may cause us all to stop pissing on each other inside the tent, and form a united front to wage the kind of war necessary to defeat and destroy the Democrat Party and take our country back.
And I’ll tell you what, you and I aren’t the only two guys pissed off. There are 75 Million Americans just like us who will also be salivating to primary and crucify the offending Republicans in 2022.
We’ll see. You’re not the only one who has suggested forming a new party.
Infidel says
Daniel, fair points. Just quick response here:
1. I’m all for trying to take full control of the GOP and force out the elitist Republican Guards (to steal a term used to describe Saddam’s storm-troopers). Except that those are people w/ some long history w/ the party, which makes them hard to get rid of. Like Peggy Noonan (I had no idea she’s still alive) who suggested that Trump uniquely deserves to be impeached twice. Or the Lincoln group, which is now busy doxxing people who didn’t choose to part company w/ Trump. Either they may leave or we may leave (or even both), but there’s no way we’re staying w/ them
2. Ross Perot – if you recall that year, Perot was ahead in the polls until he surprisingly dropped out, claiming later that he was blackmailed. That’s what damaged him, so that when he returned, he got back only a fraction of his former supporters, and the rest went mainly to Clinton. Trump never did anything like that: in fact, the way he stood firm 4 years ago after the Access Hollywood tapes, when any other candidate would have folded, showed what he was made of. So we shouldn’t just assume that if Perot failed to pull off something, that Trump would as well. Incidentally, you’re not to blame for voting for Ross Perot: he was the Trump of that year. I got my citizenship last year, but had I been a voter, my vote in every primary since 1992 (the year I came to this country) would have been Perot, Forbes (1996), Forbes (2000), Tancredo (2008), Bachmann or Cain (2012) and initially Ben Carson (2016) (I switched to Trump after his San Bernardino response when he called for a moratorium on muslims entering the country)
3. Germany is exactly what our system resembles, where the CDU is like the GOP, SDP is like the Dems, and AfD is like the MAGA party. It’s ridiculous to try and pigeonhole everybody into 2 parties, although I agree that what Israel has is too many. But today, if you notice, most Germans are sick of the CDU-SDP alliance, and regardless of whether Merkel stays or goes, chances are that the AfD will oust them, and once that happens, their coalition is dead as well. AfD should absolutely not dilute its stance for the likes of the CDU, but just let the CDU wither due to its alliance w/ the SDP that prevents it from taking even the mildest of measures against muslims.
One thing – these changes do take time, and I get those who say that it’s not on our side. But the solution to that is not diluting what we stand for: it’s taking our primaries as seriously as the Iowa and New Hampshire caucus/primaries. Once we do that, you’ll hear a giant flushing sound in DC

Infidel,
Excellent post, my compliments.
You are correct, not much actual “tech” left in “big tech”…
Infidel says
James, as someone who worked in the semiconductor industry in the 90s and 00s, it irks me to see the term ‘tech’ applied to companies like Yelp! and Snapchat, as opposed to companies like NVIDIA and Qualcomm. Too bad the bulk of them are dead, the result of thoughtless offshoring to China!
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Excellent exchange with Daniel Triplett. Both shed lots of insight…
Not sure what the best strategy would be for the core “America First” Trump supporters vis-à-vis the greater Republican Party moving forward.

Hopefully Trump will declare a new party: the MAGA Party. He already has a gigantic and loyal support base; if they move en masse, it will be the death blow to the irredeemably “Swampified” GOP.
Now is the time to go full MAGA! No surrender to the Swamp, Zuckerberg, Dorsey or the rest of the Tech Tyrants!
Infidel says
CWR, fully agree! Personally, I prefer using something that exists, which is the Reform Party: Ross Perot created this under the same agenda – to remove corruption from DC. Trump himself toyed w/ the idea of running on their platform in 2000, but ultimately decided against it due to Buchanan and Duke. But now, he could lead his supporters there, rebrand it as a MAGA party, and start immediately by putting candidates for all the available senate seats. Don’t worry about sinking GOP chances: we’ve seen enough of the GOP senators

it is absolute amazing, here in Ontario, people are being encouraged to snitch on family, friends and anyone not following the “COVID” rules. Lockdown, lockdown, lockdowns, stay home stay safe and shut your mouth. Baa, Baa, Baa, Baa, Baa, Baa get your PCR test even though Karry Mullis the inventor said it should never be used to diagnose disease in humans. He also said Fauci is a liar.
Maybe we could make a swap — all the left loons could move to Canada and the dwindling numbers of normal people could move to the US. Of course President Trump would remain and Biden could be King and Justine a prince.
Infidel says
ET, better idea:
1. Merge US and Canada
2. Take all the blue states – CA, OR, WA, IL, NY, New England states, Philly, MD, DE and north Virginia, and eastern Canada, and make it one country. Biden can be president, Trudeau can be prime minister
3. The rest of the country – from FL to Alberta to Yukon to Tuscon – that will be the US, w/ some Canadian traditions thrown in to accommodate our friends in Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Vancouver. Trump gets that
Blue cities in red states – the people get free one way tickets to cities of their choices – New York, Toronto, LA, et al. Similarly, Red suburban and rural areas in NY, ON, CA,… they get to move to central US or western Canada
Once this deal is done, watertight borders – no immigration either way!
Problem solved!

Infidel, Jihad Watch still has a Facebook page, and Robert Spencer has a Twitter feed. It is a question of trying to reach as many people as possible.
And I live in California–I was born here–as do quite a few other Anti-Jihadists.
Infidel says
Graven, I lived in California for 13 years: it was the second state I lived in the US after I graduated. Both in LA as well as in the Santa Clara valley. Leaving it was hard, but staying there was harder, given the rents there – and I’ve lived in Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara and Cupertino. Leaving it was sad, but it’s hard to afford even w/ a job, let alone w/o
Already you’re seeing a huge exodus from California: Ben Shapiro described why he left for Nashville, taking the Daily Wire w/ him. Yeah, people may have lived there all their lives, but there comes a point where it’s just unlivable – not much different from, say, non-muslims in Pakistan (yeah, your daughters ain’t getting kidnapped and married away, but they are being indoctrinated w/ communist ideas while Berkeley’s city council periodically passes resolution expressing solidarity w/ the intifada)
Reason we’re suggesting this is that we don’t wanna see other states turn into California. Already Colorado and Virginia are screwed, and looks like Arizona and Georgia will be next. Given that overall, Democrats do outnumber Republicans in absolute numbers, it won’t be difficult for them to flip enough states that even conventions of states won’t be an option to fix things before long
Infidel says
Oh, Gravenimage, forgot to mention – RS may have FB and Twitter pages, in addition to the Parler one, but what will he do once they decide to shut him down?
I made the choice years ago – to jump, rather than get pushed. Actually, I had a fun time on Twitter – met like minded people not only in this country, but also other places like UK, India, Burma… In fact, during that time, when the riots were happening in Burma, there were Burmese Twitter posters who posted gruesome images of massacres in that country, which told us the real story. But not long after that, Twitter began cracking down, and the people I enjoyed chatting w/ there were gone. I myself was suspended over a tweet about ‘rapefugees’ in Europe, and after I returned, I deleted the account
I know the argument about echo-chambers, but Twitter is already in the process of making their platform an echo chamber for the Left. And in any case, these places aren’t places for people of different opinions to argue: we’re past that in this century. Might as well let everyone play in their sandbox

Infidel, thanks for your reply. My husband and I purchased a home here in Oakland over twenty years ago–it would indeed otherwise have been difficult to remain here. Rents in anything but the worst neighborhoods are off the charts high. Even with a professional’s income this is difficult.
As for Twitter and FaceBook, I take your points–they are banning even the most gentle of criticisms of Islam. It must be a balancing act to still get the word out under such circumstances, and there is certainly always the concern that things will get even worse and they will simply ban any mention.
I only set up a FaceBook account to participate in “Everybody Draw Mohammad Day”–I haven’t used it since.
I myself got banned from PhotoBucket–first I found that my Muhammed cartoons had been blocked, and finally my entire account was removed. I need to set up a dedicated website to link to with my Anti-Jihad artwork on it.

On Thursday, in what was the most recent and possibly the most egregious example, Randall Lane, Forbes’ chief content officer, announced that Forbes Media was “holding those who lied for Trump accountable” in what he called “a truth reckoning.”
Lane claimed that the media group was taking this unprecedented action…
Lane alleged that the president’s “lies-upon-lies, repeated frequently and fervently, provided the kindling, the spark, the gasoline” that led to the attack.
Lane then singles out five senior White House officials, whom he describes as “the people paid by the People to inform the People.”
He named former White House press secretaries Sean Spicer (currently co-host of Newsmax TV’s “Spicer & Co.”), Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Stephanie Grisham, as well as current spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany…”

Acting more like a Mafia don than a media executive, Lane then threatened future employers: “Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie.”

“On Friday, the page devoted to convincing Democrats to “WalkAway” from socialism was removed from Facebook. The popular group was too effective for the minions of the New World Order. Conservatives who have been through this before note it looks like the ones wiped out by this wave of the purge are only the beginning.
According to The Blaze, “a tweet was made by WalkAway founder Brandon Straka reading: ‘FACEBOOK has removed the #WalkAway Campaign and has BANNED ME and EVERY MEMBER of my team!!! Over half a million people in #WalkAway with hundreds of thousands of testimonial videos and stories is GONE.’”
Mark Zuckerberg censored “everything related to #WalkAway.” Straka also posted images of the notifications he was provided. They show the account was “disabled” for “violating our Terms of Use.” Urging Democrats to jump ship is considered “hateful, threatening, or obscene” and cannot be allowed.
Straka isn’t happy about the purge. “I have a dozen paid employees. I have dozens of volunteers. ALL BANNED at the same time today. Absolute mayhem!!” On Twitter, he tapped out, “Is this the unity and healing of Joe Biden’s America??? This is horrifying.”
Political Cartoonist Ben Garrison was caught in the purge. He posted on Facebook, “GrrrGraphics was completely banned from twitter today. We had 250k followers. Not any more. We’re losing our freedom of speech.
Facebook also blocked us because I drew a cartoon about the protest. I never advocated violence, but no matter. All Trump supporters are now facing a night of the long knives scenario. So much for our First Amendment. This is what happens when socialists are allowed to steal our election.”
Over at Twitter, they “took sweeping action against the accounts of prominent backers of the QAnon conspiracy theory Friday night.” It’s about time on that one. They should have been swept out in the purge long ago.
Twitter also “permanently suspending former Trump administration National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump attorney Sidney Powell, and former 8kun administrator Ron Watkins,” for sharing the bogus information that they were fed by Q.”

So many erstwhile ‘conservatives’ have moved Left – Forbes, Tom McClintock, Chris Christie, Peggie Noonan (I’m not even gonna touch Arnold Schwarzenkennedy, as Melanie Morgan used to call him). And just a handful of people who’ve moved the other way – Leo Terrell (I still can’t believe it’s the same man: back in the day, he was such a race-baiter!) and maybe some people from the WalkAway campaign

Also, this cancellation of people on the right has been going on for years: it’s only now reached the level where those companies feel brazen enough to ban the president himself b’cos no one did anything about their excesses in congress. I’ve actually called on conservatives and others to boycott these platforms and move to other alternatives (like Gab, Parler) or roll their own. Now, they have no alternative but to do just that!

I opened my account on Parler when Dan Bongino announced it. I also have a Gab account, opened when they surfaced. I do have their apps on my Android phone, so Google deleting Parler from the app store doesn’t matter to me, but Parler might do what Gab did and include boxes on their website where one might download the app independent of the app stores. Incidentally, while the phone apps are fine for just browsing, I do prefer the laptop if it comes to posting – so for me, a web browser is just fine
The thing I’m critical of most people on the right about – that they waited for it to come to this. 3 or 4 years ago, I had a Twitter account, where I had about 100 followers and I myself followed about 100 people. Once I posted something about muslim ‘rapefugees’ in Europe, using exactly that term, and Twitter suspended my account, and demanded that i provide my phone# to unlock it, and then delete the tweet. I moved on, but months later, out of curiousity, I went to Twitter not logged in to check out some of the people I used to follow, and found out that they were banned. I then did what they asked – logged in w/ a non-cell number, deleted the tweet and then deleted the account altogether. And never looked back
Today, after Trump was banned, there is a major exodus from Twitter. I think the bulk of them are leaving on their own, while a whole lot of them have been locked out by the demand for phone numbers (they don’t respect our right to post, but they want our personal info: I get it!) This should have happened three years ago, when they were busy working against us. People at the top of the GOP just ignored it, until these companies became brazen enough to get to us. Only thing that’s surprised me: them doing this while the president is still in office: I thought they’d at least wait until January 21st.
We all need to quickly move to the other platforms, and not demand that they use apps, which will be banned from Google’s and Apple’s stores. Just use the web browsers of the sites we’re going to
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
You are correct about Trump’s speech, I listened to the whole thing again yesterday just to be sure.
Nowhere did he incite violence or demand that his supporters “storm the capital”.
That being said, in retrospect – making use of an abundance of caution – Pres. Trump should have ended the rally / protest outside the White House on the ellipse even though the march to the Capital was not in any way illegal. After all, he had already made his many valid points crystal clear…
Infidel says
That’s one way to look at it in hindsight, if the goal is to make sure that they don’t impeach him a second time to pre-empt his chances of running again. The way I look at it – it exposed all the Republican crooks like Lindsay Graham who were using subterfuge to virtue-signal us that he was behind Trump, but turned on him at this opportunity. Similarly, I’m glad that Purdue and Loeffler went down: in Loeffler’s case, she was happy to play to the gallery at the rally 2 nights earlier, but when it came time, she changed her mind b’cos she was ‘outraged’! I find it hilarious that Georgia republicans thought that under the same system, Purdue and Loeffler would win even though Trump lost
The question of whether it was right to storm the capital was completely tangential to the question of whether the senators should uphold electors whose elections were under various clouds, be it rigged voting machines, fraudulent ballots and so on. If it had been a Dem incumbent defending his seat under these circumstances, does anyone think that those Dem senators would have acted out of ‘shame’?
gravenimage says
Thanks, James.
mgoldberg says
He most certainly did nothing of the sort. Telling such ginormous lies is itself a criminal attempt to smear the man for legitimately calling for a last peaceful protest. After a year of riots, burnings, looting shootings, killings there was no such call against the rioters or the dems who supported them and quite actively. No calls against that incitement to rebellion which it fact it was again and again and again. And the lies that fueled that are used to turnspeak against the President who did no such thing. Cancel yourself, if you need, but you lie and that’s a fact
gravenimage says
Grimly true, mgoldberg.

No, Roland. The right to investigate the voter fraud has been denied.
If no one investigates, the fraud will not be identified.
MORE VOTES WERE CAST THAN THERE WERE VOTERS.
VOTES WERE ‘RE-ASSIGNED’ FROM A VOTER LIST OF NON-VOTING PEOPLE TO THE SIDE OF BIDEN. That ILLEGALLY swung the election.
Infidel says
Also, mail-in ballots were received before they were sent out!
Voter rolls included voters who had left the district, and a judge who happened to be Gov Staci Abrams’ sister ordered that they not be deleted
Signature matching was banned, and so was address verification
The list goes on…
E T says
Infidel, In our version of America, how will we be assured Assata Shakur, Rarely and Rod are not citizens?
Infidel says
ET, the Left’s mantra seems to be, ‘If you can breathe, you can vote’. We’ve seen cats and dogs get ballots: it needs to be spread out to iguanas, alligators, rattlesnakes, minks, and all other species. Oh, and plants as well! Initially maybe just American ones, but later, expanded to foreign ones, like kangaroos, orangutans, gnus, bamboo trees and so on
gravenimage says
The idea that a protest at the Capitol was a “rebellion against the United States” is just absurd.

It would appear that the assault on the Capitol opened the door. It was stupid and Trump can be thanked for that (as well as the loss of control of the Senate, of course).
Hopefully the next 11 days are not as interesting.
CogitoErgoSum says
Maybe Trump will be impeached, Pence will become President for a day or two and then pardon Trump just before Biden is sworn into office. And then the leftists will all go crazy and try to burn down the whole country. That might be fairly interesting.
revereridesagain says
Trump expressed the hope that Pence would do the right thing. He’s not the one who is in need of “pardon”. There’s quite a line forming on the Right for that.
CogitoErgoSum says
Well, we will see if the Dems go through with the threat to impeach Trump. Pence seems like the wildcard to me. I think things are just beginning to get interesting.
Infidel says
I didn’t initially get the idea behind impeaching him when he’s just days off from leaving: leave it only to the worthless congress (who Mark Steyn described as having the popularity b/w that of ISIS and pedos) to do that. Until it was revealed that if he’s impeached twice, he can’t run again. And for the latter, it looks like – according to Mike Cernovich – that they may have the 17 GOP defectors they need to go ahead w/ that
Regardless of what happens, I think it’s time for the GOP to be split: there are too many toxic elements in the party, as we discovered on Wednesday, both at the vote and its aftermath. I’d like the president to announce either a new party, or to announce that he’s joining the Reform Party (an idea he toyed w/ in 2000), and take the bulk of MAGA/KAG voters and politicians w/ him. Let the GOP be in the hands of the Lincoln Project jihadists, the RINOs like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowskis, the lobbyist funded ‘decent’ kleptocrats like Mitt Romney and Ben Sasse and the neocons like Lindsay Graham and Liz Cheney.
jacksonl03 says
I voted for Trump twice. The alternatives in both instances were/are asinine and dangerous for the USA..
However, despite Trump’s excellent, indeed superior achievements in the economy, the Middle East, employment level improvement, et al.I must recognize his personality is idiotic when it comes to social, personnel management and political interaction. In short, vulgar descriptive language he acts like an a**hole in those areas.
Mr. Trump won this election for the Democrats as a result of his own actions. I sure hope we can do one helluva lot better in the next two year and four year cycles.
Infidel says
Fine set of priorities you have there! Where we ought to judge our politicians by the way they kiss our babies rather than what they demonstrate they can do in office. What you essentially said was, “I’d rather be jobless but ruled by a decent person like Ben Sasse than have a salary increase but ruled by a vulgarian like Trump”
The one thing I do fault the president on is his choice of people, and also, not holding a grudge. Had he held his grudge against Mitt Romney and Ben Sasse and worked feverishly against them like he did in the case of Jeff Sessions, he’d not have had those rebels in the party. Similarly, all the staff appointments that he made that betrayed him this week – Mulvaney, Betsy DeVos, Elaine Chao…. Also, his choice of Ronna to head the RNC was horrible. Steve Bannon had an idea in 2017 to primary every GOP senate candidate except Ted Cruz, and it was a good one. Trump should have made thim the RNC head and given him that project: the senate would have been as committed to his policies as the house has. Right now, if Schumer decides to try and impeach Trump after he leaves office so that he can’t run again, according to Mike Cernovich, it looks like he will get the 17 defections from GOP senators that he needs to make it happen
revereridesagain says
I suggest elsewhere watching the 90 minute interview with Patrick Byrne, former Overstock CEO, on Corsi’s site and on YouTube, from December. Byrne gives quite the eye-opening description, even for those of us who suspected it, of exactly how petty, greedy, power-mad and venal most of the people surrounding Trump were. He didn’t have a hell of a lot to pick from.
The Left is truly vile and now that it has been unmasked it presents a mortal danger to all of us who refuse to knuckle under, and after the past 10 months no one should doubt that they can and will do whatever it takes.
I don’t see these things in the biblical terms so many of you do, but I can tell you I’m already damn sick and tired of living through some real-life version of “1984” or “Atlas Shrugged”.
Infidel says
That’s why I think he should leave the GOP rather than try to change it further, and have purity tests for those wanting to join him. I’m not talking about people who might disagree w/ him some on things like the national debt or legal immigration: I’m talking about people who’d put our priorities – be it the $2000 checks AND deleting the foreign aid, cracking down on Big Tech AND not listening to their lobbyists, election reform and so on. Start w/ small groups of those whose loyalty to the country rather than to him has been proven – people like Steve Bannon, Mike Cernovich, Kris Kobach, Rudy Giuliani, Lin Wood, Josh Hawley, Doug McGregor, Harmeet Dhillon, Lisa Boothe, Gordon Chang and so on. Oh, and on the family side, go w/ Don, but drop Ivanka and Jared: they’re the ones who enabled the GOP establishment get as embedded as they did
Use 2022 as a dry run to flush out as many establishment GOP senators as possible. Don’t worry about the Dem majority – they already have it, courtesy Murkowski and Susan Collins. Use that, and then in 2024, put up a challenge against both the Dems and the GOP: let the anti-Trump vote be split b/w those 2
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
As of said before, Pres. Trump is crude, rude, offensive, and loud.
And none of that bothered me because of his *effectiveness* during the last four years.
The problem is, it somehow “bothered” a significant percentage of people who were on the fence about him – and that caused him significant problems…
Infidel says
James, it’s said that the people of any country get the government that they deserve. If this is how some voters thought, then we as a whole got what we deserve – w/ the Kamala-Chuck-Nancy axis
E T says
Joe Biden told one man to shut his mouth and go home and lose some weight, called a woman a dog faced pony soldier, called the President of the US a clown, an idiot and what did he say about the woman who accused him of sexual assault? SHHHHH
Infidel says
ET, precisely! So much for the party of ‘decency’! Or ‘Make America Moral Again’
gravenimage says
True, E T. The implication that Joe Biden is an exemplar of politeness is just absurd.

Begun? It has been well underway for longer than we know, I expect. Whatever actually happened on Wednesday — and as someone who has “stood out” for Trump and faced Antifa/BLM/anarchist thugs and goons, I would bet that any MAGA rally participants so experienced would easily spot them — the Left is in full cry to use this to, as Spencer so aptly puts it, treat us like a bunch of low-down cultists. As someone with extensive experience in investigating such people I can vouch that all the shoes here are on other feet, from the Antifa thugs rioting, looting and burning to the smug “woke” suburbanites with the BIDEN-HARRIS/BLM virtue signals on their lawns.
jackson103 I suggest you watch Jerome Corsi’s interview with Patrick Byrne from December 24th of last year, it’s on YouTube and Corsi’s site, and it may give you a different perspective on whom you call an a**hole. Be careful about judging a man by something as nonessential as a few personality traits. And he didn’t lose to the Democrats. The Steal was not Stopped.

I think Trump should scout out either conservative or politically-agnostic IT workers, and roll out his own email and web servers. It ain’t hard: just requires some people w/ proper Unix/Linux and Apache/Sendmail/Nginx expertise. Create an organization that puts together all this: maybe incorporate Parler or Gab into it, and have a whole ecosystem (similar to Netscape.net back in the 90s) – email, blogs, social media, video services, streaming news channels like Newsmax, OANN, and so on. In the long term, maybe even contemplate a new software platform, since Windows, iOS and Android are all there at the whims of their woke owners

Communication…so very important in life.
In revolutions, those who are taking over a country first take over the communications…in the past it was radio stations and newspapers…in order to tell the citizens what they want them to think and not allow any opposition opportunity to counter it. The Truth is hidden.
Basically, the dems, moslims, and their henchmen working for both factions, have staged a revolution of sorts and have, over time, taken over the different means of communicating with the public at large. (Just how many of the big ‘news’ orgs are owned by moslims?) The cable networks, the internet giants, have worked with the corrupt politicians and now they have the public right where they want us all…to feed us what they want us to think, to stifle their opposition and hide the Truth.
Perhaps Mr. Trump and those close to him are already at work to set up an alternative to the main stream.

look at some of the comments and I wonder…. Pres Trump has been smeared since before his election, impeachment via false documents and no facts, and so proven in multiple investigations. The thieves who’ve peddled this complained about stolen election the last three elections. After Bush was elected, they cried foul and protests were called patriotic by dems. Then Obama was elected and any protested were considered racist. Then they lost to Trump and literally tried to invent a stolen election, having on his inauguration day some 190 people, antifa types mostly having looted, rioted, and burned some stores, and demanding that rioting was patriotic. Now… after four yrs of this turnspeak dung peddled and peddled about how they’re patriotic riots burning the cities demanding reparations and calling the looters innocents, we have this peddled instigated antifa infiltration riot now having dems screaming it’s sedition. So the purge and one party denuding of the republic, of the freedom of speech is underway with the demand that it’s sedition that is their desire to end, etc etc. And here we have people arranging deck chairs on the titanic quibbling about Presidents Trumps manners. He’s lead an incredibly productive, incredibly effective domestic and foreign policy with enormous accomplishments that drive the dems to utter hatred for having been able to do what they said was impossible and driven them to their hatreds, their contemptable hatreds and desires to wipe away the abiltiy to have the checks and balances of a republic, to destroy all that and demand that that is democracy.

This is not just directed at Trump but any of his associates and supporters. So what will it be creeps, gulags or concentration camps? They just cant make up their minds. Within their master ideology ideological purity is demanded. They call their final solution, cleansing. I believe I have seen a similar instances of this in the past. There is a sickness that leads to madness consuming parts of America.
Infidel says
I’d pick gulags, if we can have a separation.. Let all the red states combine together to be one country, and the blue states another. Do a population swap, so that there are no republicans in NY, NJ, CA, et al, and there are no democrats in TX, OK, KS, KY, SC, NC, et al. Do 2 countries, and let both sides live in peace.
Except that Leftists don’t believe in that, since it gives their people alternatives to flee to when their ideas collapse. Which is why they believe in world revolution!
tgusa says
Completely agree Infidel.
Living for many years in southern California I know a riot when I see one and the capital event was not a riot. I moved to Nevada to escape the left and was happy to see all the Trump signs in front yards and no Biden signs and then Biden won the area. It appears that Biden had a lot of invisible support here. I am now thinking, what have I done? Starting to look at other places now.
“Except that Leftists don’t believe in that, since it gives their people alternatives to flee to when their ideas collapse.”
In nature they have a name for that, locust.
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
To your point, what concerns me are people fleeing blue states – particularly California.
And a lot of these people are democrats…
Infidel says
Yup, that’s a part of what up-ended Georgia
My plan would ban that: force people to live in the places where their ideology reigns supreme
tgusa says
It depends on the area James. I lived in what some call the birth place of the Reagan revolution. We were voting conservative republican when some of the newly republican districts were voting democrat. We saw all the problems that were ahead but many other places didn’t. They do now. I used to poke fun at some of my relatives in Mississippi for voting democrat when they were obviously conservative people. I am no fan of Ca politics now but Clinton Bush nor Obama didn’t come out of California. If it were not for the winner take all elector distribution among districts a lot of Ca would not be giving their electors to democrats.
gravenimage says
And not just California–there is the same basic phenomenon with leftists leaving Massachusettes, New York, and other large states for smaller ones where they change the political and social climate.
tgusa says
You are right gravenimage. Non leftists have to unite no matter where they are now or where they came from.
Infidel says
tgusa, that’s the difference b/w the Left and the Right. The Left has always been globalists: back in the day, the anthem of the world communist movement was a song ‘Internationale’. They believed in world revolution and one world government (even the UN wasn’t enough for them), and communist parties all over the world were joined at the hip in Moscow. Since Communism died in Russia, they were left orphaned for a while, but finally, China stepped in to fill the vacuum
The Right on the other hand is totally local. The GOP has nothing in common w/ Likud in Israel or the Liberal Democratic Party in Japan or the BJP in India: all these parties have their own national priorities that usually don’t collide, but occasionally may. So there isn’t ever any alliance b/w right leaning parties worldwide. But that’s what gives the Left such an advantage: amplifying the volume of the Dems are all those foreign Leftist countries and organizations, be it in Canada, UK, Germany, wherever! Even though what’s happening here is none of their business, they won’t accept it
You are right – non Leftists may not know nor care about the rest of the world, but we need to unite and support them, b’cos they’re oppressed by the same globalist hydra that we are bullied by

When they made comments that these were going to be “concentration camps” for American citizens, they were labeled “conspiracy’ nuts.
The photos also showed stacks of coffins, row upon row, and the posters said these would be for those killed for non-compliance. (“forced vaccinations”…reports from the authorities show how dangerous are these combinations of special ingredients)
There were numerous photos of tanks and other military vehicles on the rural highways near these “enclosures” and parked nearby.
Some of these had U.N. markings.
There are many “executive orders” already in place that allow the government to take all of the resources…food, water, transportation, etc…that are owned by citizens and to “re-educate” people who disagree.
And who can forget the woman who worked with ‘o’ who was targeting ex-military as “dangerous.” I forget her name, but she had been a professor or something and now is back in the U system in CA.
Doesn’t look so much like a “conspiracy theory” as much as a real conspiracy, now. ( I didn’t discount it then, as some might have.)

Infidel says
Yohanan, that’s b’cos if you read those previous stories years ago, you would have noticed a pattern where both Dems and Republicans were all lukewarm when it came to opposing jihad, or even worse, enabling it. Trump was the only president to come out w/ measures that would prevent people from countries like Somalia or Yemen from coming here. If we transformed into Trump partisans, it’s b’cos of what he did in this department (aside from others). And in Riyadh, unlike other presidents, he openly called on muslims to dissociate themselves from jihad, and some countries, like Saudi Arabia and Emirates, are actively doing that. Incidentally, I am critical of him for his stances on Turkey and Qatar, and so are others here
Liberals are always welcome here if they share the anti-jihad platform, which incidentally means condemning more countries than just Saudi Arabia, which has seemed on the right track the last couple of years Reason they usually run into rough weather is them being apologetics for islam

And we’ve heard this impliction before–that if only Spencer would shut up about politics that everyone would embrace the stand against Jihad. Never mind that so many make it clear that they will never accept any criticism of Islam, no matter how bloody it becomes.
Infidel says
Years ago, Jihad Watch was open to both Republicans and Dems who were anti Jihadists. As time went on, Dems completely switched over to the other side, so it made no sense to reach out to them. Heck, even the number of Republicans who were explicitly anti-Jihad could be counted on one hand and struggled at the polls – Tom Tancredo, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain and Ben Carson. Trump only got into it after the San Bernardino massacre in 2015
There is a reason Jihad Watch is firmly on the right: the only people who take this jihad threat seriously are prominent people on the right, be it Breitbart, Mark Steyn, Ben Shapiro and so on

I am actually liberal on many matters. Jihad is a trerrible threat to *all* of us. But it is certainly true that more conservatives than liberals recognize this threat–and, grimly, that far leftists often enable Islam.

Authentic liberals are not leftists and leftists are not liberals.

You must like or ignore double standards Yohanan. Baltimore mayor Blake instructed officers to allow protestors to express themselves and that “we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well.”
In DC not one business was looted and then set on fire, no one got a free pair of sneakers or big screen TV, not one liquor store was cleaned out. If you want to learn how to do a riot right look at democrats and what they have supported.
Yohanan Weininger says
fyi in terms of loot for one the laptop of the speaker of the house was stolen. you may disagree with pelosi, but she is the current #3 after vp pence. it was a self coup attempt far worse than property, lives lost. for those who claim delusional conspiracy theories (stolen election, marxist Biden, etc) to all who are stuck in Trump’s personality cult (cult as defined by its self-fulfilling nonrational beliefs), please consider think the whole and don’t drink the kool-aid.

No one should have stolen Nancy Pelosi’s laptop, if this indeed haopened.
I have a friend who had a laptop stolen in a park–this was a crime, but not a coup. No reason to suppose than the theft of any laptop is a coup.

“cult as defined by its self-fulfilling nonrational beliefs”
I will give you credit for going all out in your self-fulfilling non rational beliefs.

I’m sure the Antifa and wokeists had infiltrated into the Capitol gathering to create riots & vilify Trump. You know this as well as I do. Whatever he was, Trump was never an anarchist. He never waged a war. The BLM riots organised in an election year by ‘we know who’ indulging in open looting, vandalism, violence & arson in the pretext of fighting for the rights of Blacks were overlooked by the bigots like you. I guess nobody was punished or blamed for it. Do you have 2 standards, one for Democrats & one for Trump ? What about kamala Harris going to & staying in Minneapolis to give instant bail to the blacks whoever were arrested for setting fire to the police quarters ? Is this the way to treat the firefighters & the cops who put their lives on line to save “your” lives ? The blood of those martyrs is in her hands. Is this the kind of President you want for America ? You are the kind who are leading that Great country of yours to absolute lawlessness & chaos. What about the midnight freezing of voting for several hrs in 5 States after which the tide turned completely in favor of the Democrats from that of Trump ? Is the hatred created by the presstitute media so great that you people are blinded to the truth ? The Italian company which was involved in vote tampering confessed its crime & regretted to see the shocking outcome of what it had done. There was a Chinese company as well.
You will pay for this karma of yours when the safety of your womenfolk will be compromised at the hands of “unfettered immigrants” promised by the evil Democrats who only care for power & are ready to throw away the safety, orderliness, freedom of speech & Human Rights to the winds to appease the jihadi chunk of voters lead by the ingrates like Ilhan Omar who came there as an asylum seeker, committed 5 counts of felony which calls for 45 yrs of imprisonment & a deportation to Somalia, only to reach where she is & is up to ruin that country by converting it into a Sharia law abiding anti Democratic one. Already the 1st & 2nd Amendments are killed by the Democrats. America’s downfall has begun. We see sights in the US which were seen never before. The news & images which are unfolding are very disturbing to say the least.

I read that Shopify supports blm so I guess they will help you start, run, and grow a business so it can be destroyed later. Nice business model they have there.
