Iran is a clear, escalating threat to Israel, to the region, and globally. The Iran threat has been heightened by Trump leaving office and being replaced by Biden, a man the Iranian mullahs clearly deem to be a pushover.
Israel has made it clear that it will defend itself. Now (in a manner similar to the Palestinian jihad, which threatens Israel continuously) Iran is playing the victim and it has gone to the UN to ask it to intervene.
In his letter to the UN’s Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Majid Takht-Ravanchi sounds more like he is describing Iran than Israel, given Iran’s extensive recent boasting about how it has built up its military might. Iran even admitted that it violated the nuclear deal. Takht-Ravanchi, however, knows that despite truth, history and the jihadist mission to obliterate Israel, the UN will likely be sympathetic to his complaint. The UN has, after all, historically demonized Israel via endless unjustifiable resolutions which endeavor to delegitimize the Jewish state and further threaten its existence.

Tehran, Iran – Iran’s representative to the United Nations has protested recent Israeli military action threats against the country, calling on the intergovernmental organisation to interfere.
In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Majid Takht-Ravanchi said Israel has not only increased “provocative and warmongering rhetoric” against Iran, but is also actively making plans to act on its threats.
The latest example, he said, came in late January when top Israeli general Aviv Kochavi said Israel’s military is preparing “a number of operational plans, in addition to those already in place” in reaction to Iran boosting its nuclear programme in recent months.
Iran’s UN representative said the threat violates article two of the UN charter and requires a “proportionate response by the global community” due to Israel’s history of attacking other nations in the region.
“We reserve the intrinsic right to defend ourselves and decisively respond against any threat or wrongful act by the Israeli regime,” Takht-Ravanchi wrote.
Among other things, article two of the UN charter states that members must “refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state”.
Takht-Ravanchi said Israel must take responsibility for its hostile actions and the UN must counter the country’s “destabilising and warmongering policies” as the entity in charge of securing international peace.
The representative also called for his letter to be registered as a formal document in the UN Security Council.
After the Israeli general made the threat, Iran’s presidential chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi dismissed it as “psychological war” and said “in action, they neither have a plan nor the ability to carry it out”.
He also said he believes the new administration of US President Joe Biden has independence and will not cater to Israel like his predecessor Donald Trump…..

A very, very short time ago, iran was saying if Israel makes any “small mistake” then iran will level the cities of Israel. This was just one of many, many, countless threats iran has made against Israel. Bragging about their war plans…to wipe Israel off the map…and their war machine that they have built up to do that, is just fine and hunky dory with the U.N. as there are so many moslim nations that have a voice in that entity; and so many non moslim nations that side with the moslims against Israel.
But, just hear Israel say they will ***counter*** these war plans and defend their cities against being leveled and wiped off the map, and suddenly, iran wants to have the U.N….made up of a large number of moslims…”interfere,” and blast Israel for saying the Jews will defend their nation against attacks.
The one iranian thug is scared and wants U.N. protection against Israel, and the other says there’s no worry due to biden now being president and not really caring what happens to Israel. He claims the very opposite of the guy whining to the U.N….”Israel has no plan and no way to carry it out.”
If they don’t “have a plan,” they wouldn’t have a need for a “way.” If they do have a plan…and they are not like moslims who make big brags without substance…then they have made sure they can “carry it out.”

Israel, without support from Biden, is being forced to make a “now or never” decision about destroying Iran’s nuclear processing while Iran is crying to anyone who will listen because it believes Israeli action is imminent.
Meanwhile, Congress is running a Kabuki impeachment show where the outcome was already scripted.
If Biden doesn’t wake up there will be a war the US cannot avoid because of its interests in the Gulf. The US ties to the Saudis and its other friendly Gulf interests will force it to the Israeli side – Israel is in the drivers seat.

I used to go on to the Al Jazeera Facebook site and argue with Muslims who were heaping abuse on to Israel and occasionally I would run across a Muslim who would actually discuss the issue instead of the usual slander but not often.
I remember one who said that once Islam was everywhere all over the world there would be peace to which I replied, you mean peaceful like the Middle East is now? And of course they try to blame everyone and anyone especially the USA for the reason why the ME is constantly in turmoil but the problem with that idea is that the entire region has been in constant turmoil since long before the Americas were even discovered.
Funnily enough the most heated exchanges are between the Indians and the Arabs, each side has comic sketches they post at each other targeting and depicting cultural idiosyncrasies, some are quite entertaining but generally the Indians pay out on the Muslims big time.
