Trumpist sleeper cells! You can just see them out there with their red MIGA hats, chanting “The election was stolen!” as they set off these rockets.
This represents the first attempt to portray the supposed “right-wing terrorists” who support Trump as an international organization. It will almost certainly not be the last.
PMU is Popular Mobilization Forces, which are primarily Shi’a groups that fought against the Islamic State.
“PMU Official Mohammad Al-Basry: Trumpist Sleeper Cells in Iraq behind Erbil Rocket Attack in an Attempt to Thwart Biden’s Return to the JCPOA,” MEMRI, February 16, 2021:
Former PMU official Sheikh Mohammad Al-Basry suggested that the rocket attack on Erbil international airport that killed an American contractor was carried out by “Trumpist” sleeper cells in order to place a wedge between Washington and Tehran and to block a return to the JCPOA. Al-Basry made his remarks in a show on Al-Iraqiya TV (Iraq) that aired on February 16, 2021. He said that before former U.S. President Donald Trump left office, he established “Trumpist” sleeper cells in Iraq and they are behind the rocket attack on Erbil and ISIS suicide bombings that took place immediately after President Biden took office.
Interviewer: “Some people say that the rocket attack (on Erbil) was a terrorist act, and a malicious one at that. The Biden administration has been talking in a calmer and more reasonable fashion with regard to Iran, and wants to resume negotiations with Iran (over the JCPOA). Therefore, it is unreasonable, at this stage that Iran would carry out such an act, the reaction for which could influence Iran’s nuclear program, to say the least.”
Mohammad Al-Basry: “Let me tell you my opinion, which could sound a bit exceptional, but take it as it is and look it up. Biden’s rise to power has definitely opened new horizons for negotiations, whether in the Middle East, with China, or with the rest of the world, in order to (counter) decisions taken by Donald Trump. Before Trump left office, he warned and threatened, because he did not want the new administration to succeed. He has old alliances in the Middle East, and specifically in the Gulf and in Iraq. It is inconceivable that Trump would just leave things as they are and get out. Through these alliances, he established Trumpist sleeper cells that are trying to cause disturbances for the Biden administration and to cause a crisis between Washington and Tehran.”
Interviewer: “It’s a very strange thing to say that Trump, or Trumpist groups, targeted Erbil.”
Al-Basry: “The return of ISIS with such vigor and the return of its operations… In the second day after the Biden administration took office, an explosion happened in Tayaran Sqaure [in Baghdad], followed by [ISIS] attacks in the Diyala and the Salah Al-Din governorates. All these attacks point to… Is it difficult for Trump to recruit militias? He had wanted to attack Iran.”

You just can’t make this stuff up. How stupid. How long did this idiot stay awake before he came up with this nonsense?
Instead of there being an “international Trumpist terror org,” there is an international effort to portray White people who value Truth and Freedom as terrorists who have infiltrated every country for the purpose of forcing people to **what**?..tell the Truth and allow people to live free? No, of course not. It’s to …whatever the fools and liars can concoct that they can then promote as truth; and tarnish to the death anyone who opposes the lies and corruption.
This fool liar won’t be the only one to make these absurd claims. Watch out for omar and tlaib to make similar claims regarding other moslum countries. It will be a growing bandwagon and everyone who lies for a living will jump on.

Somehistory, I couldn’t agree with you more, what a load of crap he’s coming out with.

OT: Coca Cola is telling their employees to be “less White.” Imagine telling a moslum to be “less moslum” or “less arrogant”…or even telling anyone other than a White person to be less of who they are.
Infidel says
I am hopelessly addicted to coke (the coca cola, not the cocaine), else I’d have dropped it like a rock! It’s an absolute disgrace how woke companies – whose main job is to make money and service their 3 stakeholders – owners, customers and employees – are morphing into branches of BLM and Antifa

I used to drink it, even sometimes it was all my stomach would tolerate due to an illness I have, but when I found out what it was doing to my bones, I gave it up.
And, it’s said that when they began…in a pharmacy…it had cocaine in it.
Now, the company has a “training program” for the employees on how to be “less White.”
It’s sickening, and you are so right about it…and others…becoming branches of the real “domestic terrorist orgs.”

“She said other staffers she spoke to were “deeply troubled” by the developments but were “too terrified to speak out about it.”
In January 2020, Shaw said, she attended a mandatory staff retreat “focused on racial issues.”
She said she wasn’t comfortable answering personal questions from the hired facilitator about race and “racial identity.”
“Later, the facilitators told everyone present that a white person’s discomfort at discussing their race is a symptom of ‘white fragility.’ They said that the white person may seem like they are in distress but that it is actually a ‘power play,’” she wrote.
“In other words, because I am white, my genuine discomfort was framed as an act of aggression. I was shamed and humiliated in front of all of my colleagues.”

I don’t know if this message was delivered via email or more direct through small Diversity meetings. If it were me, I’d try to be as most wide-spread public as possible, direct to the speaker but polite. I would point out that the Constitution prohibits the establishment of a special class of citizens based upon any criteria. By doing so, Coca Cola is in violation of the Law of the Land and subject to discrimination law suits AND criminal law suits by DOJ. It’s time for the Following:
Companies who support players to drop to one knee during the playing of the National Anthem should be BOYCOTTED. Tickets to games, purchasing of cable or WIFI channels to watch games or purchase Industry endorsed labeled products for sale. The same process should be extended to Companies embracing this kind of cr*p, whereby the the company instructs employs to behave, look alike whatever more like another Race, Ethnic Group or another People or wear a Hijab
day a symbol of submission that can result in murder. I know that there are 70-80mm Americans who think in a similar fashions as I do. Imagine if you all use the power of your dollars against these companies to change their policies, even if only 1/2 of you participate 35-40mm Americans boycotting the NFL and CocaCola, not only their products but giving press updates every Monday or Tuesday and providing a charity funding or membership level update. The NFL and Coca Cola will take note. They don’t want to look bad. Explain how Zuckerberg assisted China in cracking down on dissidents and their Freedom of Speech as well as Muslims in China, not to mention Christian. Mention how the NFL and Coke profit by being in China more that in the USA. It’s not time to be timid. The Government, Elites, Academia, MSM, and Corporate America plan to make you a speechless scared people unwilling to share opinions or speak up. Don’t forget they’ve already discussed re-education camps, like in China and the Soviet Union. If we don’t start now to Peacefully and via the Bill of Rights to resist these clusters of illegality, all your Rights and my own will be gone.

Or, somehistory, imagine telling an NFL or NBA team to be less black…
somehistory says
Yeah, or a rapper, or the black matter rioters…
Some of the things a White person is supposed to do to be “less White,”… “be less certain (of what?), be more humble, listen, believe (in what?) and break with White solidarity.” (every where they put the word “White,” it’s in lower case.
It’s all a bunch of hogwash just meant to humiliate all White people and make each one feel alone. They claim that “research shows 3 and 4 year old kids “understand” it’s better to be White. And “socialized” to believe we are “inherently superior.”
But, they don’t cite the sources of the “research.”
it’s just baloney. I’m White, but never was taught to believe I am better than others and I have never known (one stranger in my life was evidently taught it) any White person who demonstrated that. I’ve seen it in plenty of hollywood movies and tv shows, but not personally seen it in people I grew up with.
One time, in all my years of living in the South…supposed to be a hotbed of racists…I heard one guy make a racist statement to me because I was walking down a sidewalk with a Black girl and we were talking…as friends do. I wanted to say something to him, and turned to do so, but she begged me not to.
Now, I’m supposed to be ashamed of my Whiteness. Well, I’m not. And I won’t be buying any more Coke, either.

James, if one wants that done, one should outsource that task to the Chicoms. On their New Year’s gala, they had performances in blackface, happily mocking Blacks. To the credit of activists, there was an outcry against it, although not enough to make them demand that Han Chinese be less Mandarin

somehistory – A sensible comment. Re Coca Cola’s contemptible and mindlessly stupid: ‘Try being less white’, it renewed my utter contempt for white Western world’s gutless political correctness and cowardly apology for being white. Why this apology? Because it was successful and made other races feel inferior? Tough luck to them! It’s the way it is.
I, white, grew up in South Africa during the apartheid days and although never supporting that policy, in fact a very public critic, one was very aware of Western world hostility toward us because of that policy. Almost unconsciously this distanced us from the West and its thinking. And then we became aware of the emerging ‘scheit for brains’ political correctness that crept into the West, the pathetic apology for being white and among liberal Western imbeciles a notion that ‘everyone is better than us’. On what basis? These horse’s arses couldn’t tell you. It’s just this feel good stuff they feel – when grovelling. So today, although living in the West, why would I want to feel part of such rubbish? Here are now, idiotic white liberal Westerners telling us we should try to be less white. Yet after all its disgusting violence from Muslims both during and after 9/11, spineless, p.c., white liberal cowards and morons would never suggest to Muslims that they should ‘try to be less Muslim. It would be so Islamophobic! It’s stunningly cowardly and very stupid!

One of commonest things in Islamic countries is unsubstantiated rumors. That happens because Islam is primarily a VERBAL/ORAL/ANECDOTE-BASED culture, rather than a PRINT-BASED culture. Most Muslims get ALL of their knowledge of Islam from HEAR-SAY alone. Muslims don’t usually read books about Islam. Most Muslims are barely literate because the script is defective and hard to read.
Most Muslims learn about Islam ANECDOTALLY from Uncle Hussein or from their Aunt Zeynab who may have learned anecdotally in the same manner from some other anecdotal source.
Rumors spread quickly in such cultures and take on the assumed value of established facts.

Question to the PMU: if Trump was that opposed to them and their goals, why didn’t he do what the Kurds wanted and carve out a separate Kurdistan for them? Yeah, I know that logic is haram, but they might wanna think this one out a bit
Jayell says
When was the term ‘Trumpist’ ever used before? Certainly not anywhere in the Western world, because this curiously tribal terminology suggests a relatively primitive attitude that never existed amongst those Republicans (and others) who may have supported Donald Trump purely as part and parcel of their democratic (with a small ‘d’) rights. And the use of the term ‘sleeper cells’ suggests a terrorist mindset being projected onto the good people of the Republican party – and anyone – who actively supports Mr. Trump. If those from alien environments really cannot understand the world beyond their own egos and can’t avoid dragging Western society down to their medieval level, they should keep their noses out of Western affairs. As it is, this little event illustrates the kind of intrusion into the life of the West that seems now to be a regular occurrence from those whose business it most definitely is NOT.
somehistory says
Trying to make it sound similar to “islamist” as that term has been applied to those who engage in terror for islam. So, putting “ist” with “Trump” makes anyone who supported him, liked him, didn’t oppose him, a terrorist on his behalf.
Jayell says
‘Trying to make it sound similar to “islamist’ – but the term ‘islamist’ is a confidence trick in itself, a ‘subtle’ way for the Disciples of the ‘Great Prophet’ + friends to whitewash themselves by puttiing some distance between themselves and their chums who don’t even have the brain power to indulge in their usual low-level islamic chicanery.
somehistory says
Yes, and ending in ‘ist’ puts in in the cat of terrorist, communist, marxist, rapist, ..so many “ist’s”, ist mindboggling.

I’ve heard the term ‘Trumpist’ used by people like Jonah Goldberg, Steve Hayes and other ‘conservatives’ who were lukewarm to Trump. Somehow, liking him was a sin big enough to disqualify everything that they stand for

Sheik Mohammad Al-Basry your theory about Jihadist bombers actually being MAGA, Trump supporters against the installation of the new Biden government is like a bucket filled with rain-water inside gushing out through gapping holes in the body of the bucket. What the GOP could do is declare or characterize the treaty a true treaty requiring a 2/3 Senate Majority, making the first agreement back to the Senate as an incomplete Treaty to be voted upon.
