Judge Moghiseh is no “extremist.” The death penalty for apostasy is prescribed in Islamic law, as is explained here. Good thing Biden’s handlers will soon shower this fellow and his colleagues with billions, eh?
“Iran judge to Christian converts: ‘Your actions are worthy of death,’” by Male Marvin, Uganda Christian News, February 3, 2021:
Open Doors (USA), an organisaton committed to aiding Persecuted Christians around the globe, is encouraging believers to pray for four (4) Christian converts arrested by the Iranian government and accused of “acting against national security by forming a house Church” in the Muslim-majority country.
Mehdi Akbari, Fatemeh Sharifi and Simin Soheilinia and Mehdi Roohparvar were sentenced to a combined 35 years in prison with Iranian court Judge Mohammad Moghiseh (pictured) telling the converts, ‘your actions are worthy of death’
The Christian converts were also accused of “widespread association with missionary groups, as well as evangelical Christian groups outside the country.”
Judge Moghiseh – who has earned the nickname the “Judge of Death” for his harsh treatment of prisoners of conscience – reportedly spoke “obscenely” to the Christians and would not listen to their defence, only citing the report of the intelligence agent.
…the judge increased their bail to 7 billion tomans ($220,000), reportedly saying: “Who set this low bail amount for you, so you could be free to roam about on the streets?”

I can already picture all the western media and other experts on Islam claiming that this judge doesn’t represent Islam and that this is not the true face of Islam and that the vast , vast , vast majority of muslims are peaceful and tolerant and bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla.
mortimer says
What Western media ‘journalists’ miss is that the judge isn’t misinterpreting Sharia law. Apostates are normatively killed under Sharia law after they are given a short time to recant.
I wish Steve Harvey had been in the courtroom. I think it would have changed his opinion that Islam is somehow ‘benign’ or ‘peaceful’.

Agree .

“‘your actions are worthy of death”
You should return to Islam and become suicide bombers.

Technically speaking the worst possible human being in the eyes of Allah would be a gay female Shia apostate atheist who’s married to a Zionist Jew. But I’m pretty sure she could sneak into Paradise by blowing up a gay female Shia apostate atheist at a Bar Mitzvah. Islam has cornered the “convert to martyr” market. You can finish off a life of sin with some resolution to that nagging feeling that your mom and imam were right about what happens to gay female Shia apostate atheists before and after they die.
mortimer says
DavidR is trying to be facetious. I find no humor in the barbaric punishments provided by those backward savages.

David is perfectly correct. This humor is grim, but it is also spot on.
And Islam *deserves* to be mocked.
Many Americans mocked the Nazis during WWII–that doesn’t mean they made light of Fascism’s evil.

Muslim judges are probably like Muslim “scholars”, primitive, evil and brain dead creatures. This “judge’s” appearance would seem to indicate that. If anyone deserves death it is people who believe that people who freely move across from one religious belief to another type of religious belief or, indeed, to no belief in any deity at all, all normal things for human being to do, deserve to be killed. Primitive, barbaric crap. Hopefully, there’ll be a non-Muslim , far more pleasant God than that evil allah thing waiting to judge this Muslim “judge” and hurl the evil scumbag off into hell where he belongs. Islam is such primitive garbage and the people who enforce its rubbish are some of the lowest specimens of humanity..
mortimer says
Religious matters are handled in a civil court. These poor people may be murdered while in prison by fanatical Muslims.

You nailed it, tim…

Thanks for the comments, mortimer and James. The “scholars” and the “judges” all look the same with the beards and he head gear, probably strangling their brains and making them even dumber. I suppose this look is all some type of imitation of that truly bizarre idea of what a perfect man is, Muhammad. Islam is, of course, full of all sorts of primitive crap that should have disappeared from humanity centuries ago, but this “death to apostates” is, to me, one of the most sickening. People should be free to change from one religion to another freely or decide that they no longer believe in a god at all.(ie to freely follow their conscience). This pathetic Islamic thing of forbidding people to freely choose a religion or to have no religious beliefs is unbelievably sick to my mind. But that’s all of islam in my opinion, a relic from the time of knuckle dragging, unevolved human beings.
JohnTheRevelator says
To a westerner raised in a free society, the behavior of Muslims may seem bizarre, narrow-minded and brutal. This is why the Left has such a difficult time trying to understand the behavior and actions of Muslims.
We tend to project our Liberal ideals onto the rest of the world. We assume all humans want freedom and to live in peace. But we have our own blind-spot in our refusal to accept there are other ideologies that are completely in opposition to our own.
You can go down the line on practically every issue, like freedom of speech/conscience/assembly, the right to join/leave any religion, the treatment of women, the attitude towards Jews, etc., and we find that Islam is against everything we hold dear.
Frankly there is just a massive information deficit in the West about Islam which is intentionally engineered to keep people misinformed about the true dangers of this ideology.
Wars happen primarily over land, resources and most importantly ideologies. We need to realize that we disagree with Muslims on the fundamentals of life. They believe a magic skyman gave them all the knowledge they need, no matter how evil or flawed it is and they have to live by his dictates to get rewarded in the afterlife.
Meanwhile we develop our morality/ethics based on reason, logic, discussion and debate. There is no question western culture is far more civilized, humane and therefore more successful than Islamic states.
We in the West need to accept that Muslims are brainwashed and a threat to our freedom and way of life. We need to make the elimination of Islam on this planet a major priority, just as we did with other fascist ideologies in the past.

JohnTheRevelator,
Excellent post, my compliments…
JohnTheRevelator says
Much appreciated James and Graven.
I’m glad to know that my words have provided meaning and perhaps another perspective on this difficult problem we all have to face.
Incidentally while I don’t post often, I do enjoy reading everyone else’s posts and find myself also benefiting from everyone else’s knowledge here as well.
I just wish most people in western nations read Robert Spencer’s and Pam Geller’s websites. If they did that it’d make all our lives a lot easier since the populace would be educated on Islam and would work together to defeat it.
Still despite all the censorship and hate directed at opponents of Islam, people are starting to wake up. For the first time in many years, I’ve seen people take a stand against Islam in places like Denmark and France for example. Marine Le Pen might win the next election, which is great news for our side.
So the message is getting through. I believe it’ll be a long battle but perhaps in 10-20 years, we’ll reach critical mass, that the number of non-Muslims opposed to Islam will grow and become the majority. Once that happens we’ll achieve our goal of banning and criminalizing Islam. Fingers crossed.

This filthy creep has set himself up as ‘judge’ to decide who should live or die….just as his fake ‘prophet’ did before him.
In the Bible Book of Hebrews, chap 2, verse 14, the Apostle Paul explains why Jesus had to become a man and die…so He could bring to nothing the one causing people to die…satan the devil.
So, just as satan the devil causes death, deciding who lives in his ‘world’ and who dies, his children…the mass-murdering, raper of children, sex-mad slave trader, filthy sack of slug slime, lying son of satan and this creepy moslim who is worshipping this psychopath he considers a ‘holy prophet’ and their mutual father, satan, want to see people who don’t agree, die and if possible, in a very painful, agonizing, and prolonged way.

Freedom House Says Iran Uses Violence Against Dissidents Abroad
Iran is using a strategy of assassinations and renditions abroad against dissidents abroad, a case study by Freedom House published on Wednesday (February 3) has reported. The publication, Out of Sight, Not Out of Reach looks at “transnational repression” as practiced by six countries – Iran, China, Rwanda, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Its publication came the day before a court in Antwerp, Belgium, sentenced Iranian diplomat Assadolah Assadi to 20 years in prison for his role in an unsuccessful bomb plot against an opposition rally in Paris.
Freedom House said its report used cases of transnational repression from public sources, including those of the United Nations and governments, human rights reports, and reputable news outlets, to generate a global picture of how governments reach across national borders to silence dissent among their diaspora and exiles.
Freedom House is a US-based, government-funded, non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) that conducts research and advocacy on democracy, political freedom, and human rights.
“The Iranian regime’s expansive definition of who constitutes a threat to the Islamic Republic contributes to the breadth and intensity of its transnational repression campaign,” the report said. “The authorities frequently label the targeted dissidents and journalists as terrorists, using the term as a blanket justification for violence and disregard for due process. The regime is notable for the broad spectrum of tactics…which collectively amount to a constant barrage of harassment, intimidation, and surveillance.”
Since 2014, Iran has been linked to five assassinations or assassination attempts in three countries, with plots thwarted in at least two others, the report says. Coerced or voluntary recruitment of Iranians abroad, it concludes, is a key component of the regime’s transnational repression campaign.
The report cites an August 2020 interview with the Guardian newspaper where a US-based Iranian software engineer described being imprisoned for a week on a trip to visit family in Iran, during which he was pressured to act as an agent for Iranian intelligence. It also highlights the rendition of ethnic Arab activist Habib Asyud from Turkey in October 2020, as well as threats to kidnap New York-based activist Masih Alinejad and take her family members in Iran hostage.

Family concludes former FBI agent Robert Levinson died in Iran
They said they didn’t know how or when he died, “only that it was prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Robert Levinson: US hostage has died in Iran, says family
The terrorist regime of Iran lies. He is alive still and why body is not returned for disclosures. 20 Million Dollars and 5 Million dollars total of 25 Million dollars. Last time we said he was alive within 48 hours Iran regime denied.
The Levinson family statement on Wednesday said they had recently received information from US officials that had led them to conclude he had died in Iranian custody.
“It is impossible to describe our pain,” they said.
“Our family will spend the rest of our lives without the most amazing man we have ever known, a new reality that is inconceivable to us.
“His grandchildren will never meet him. They will only know him through the stories we tell them.
“If not for the cruel, heartless actions of the Iranian regime, Robert Levinson would be alive and home with us today.”
When was the hostage last seen alive?
The family, of Coral Springs, Florida, received proof-of-life photos and a video in 2010 and 2011, though his whereabouts were unknown.
Photographs emerged of him bearded and wearing an orange prison jumpsuit, similar to those worn by US detainees in Guantanamo Bay.
Around his neck hung signs, one of which said, “why you cannot help me”.
Experts determined the video had been sent through Pakistan, while the photos were sent from an internet address in Afghanistan.
Pashtun wedding music could be heard playing faintly in the background of the video, suggesting Mr Levinson could be held in either of those two countries.
Another theory of US officials was that the Iranian government could have routed the images externally in an effort to blame Mr Levinson’s disappearance on someone else
