This is the kind of deception that builds the victimhood narrative that is so exceedingly useful for the “Palestinian” leadership on the international stage, keeping the billions flowing in from Western entities that are so very, very eager to be fooled.
“Palestinian media presents terrorist as victim after attacking soldier,” Jerusalem Post, January 30, 2021 (thanks to Henry):
Atallah Rayyan, 17 years old, attempted to kill an IDF soldier and stab her at a junction near Ariel on Tuesday. But certain Palestinian media sources claim that he, and not the soldier who shot him in defense, was the victim.
The Palestinian chapter of Defense of the Child International (DCI-P) claimed that he had been executed by the IDF.
DCI-P released a photo of Rayyan, who was a minor at the time of his death, calling him a “child” and reporting he was “the first Palestinian child” Israel killed in 2021.
Some Twitter users objected to the emotionally-charged language, pointing to how the alleged “child” was holding a knife and that the event was recorded by the traffic cameras at the junction. Others expressed their repulsion at the acts of the IDF based on the tweet.
He “died as a Martyr after being shot by the occupation’s soldiers while he was at the junction,” the Palestinian Authority newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported. Not including the actions which led to this result, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reported in a Friday press release….
gregbeetham says
What’s to become of that one? He didn’t actually kill but got killed in the attempt so what’s the ruling on that?
Mount Zion says
In a sane world the ruling would be an aquittal of any wrong doing of the IDF soldier since she was stabbed .It remains to be seen how Israel will react under pressure by the international media since the assailant was under age, however it shouldn’t be a problem to make a strong case in favour of the IDF soldier because the event was recorded by a traffic camera.
Check Burry says
These terrorist children should have a sign pinned on with their date of birth, meantime I say Go for it IDF. Hope the BRAVE female soldier, is soon OK. Are the pal leaders so dim they think soldier under attack has time to take personal details?

gregbeetham…This looks like one for Mortimer to weigh in on, if you’re referring to the 72 virgins. Don’t know if ‘almost’, or, “I tried” is going to cut it.
Rarely says
It’s the same 72 virgins — recycled.
Check Burry says
Far from virgins then, well used. Re-treads.
Rarely says
Actually “born again” virgins.

according to islam, he does not undergo judgement; instead, muhammed’s sock puppet “god” grants him immediate entry into jannah (heaven). that was the evil genius of muhammed’s death cult; if he had lived through the attack, he would have been a hero, and if not, he gets into jannah. in the case of superstitious 7th-century tribal arabs, it was a win-win decision. kill the kuffar from dar al-harb and get the kuffar’s wife and daughters as sex slaves, or die for allah, bypass judgement (no uncertainty there!), and get 72 virgins. it was everything a thug could want, and it still is today.
gravenimage says
Greg, pious Muslims seem to be divided on whether such Jihadists get their virgins or not if they don’t actually succeed in murdering their victims.
Giacomo Latta says
Just do what the Israelis do: check for a well-padded crotch area. Excessive padding tells you exactly what this perp was hoping for.
Alfredo says
He’s going to Paradise anyways to claim his reward (72 virgins), as a “martyr” in the Islamic heaven! LOL.
gregbeetham says
I thought that he mightn’t qualify for the full 72 seeing as how he didn’t kill in his quest to become a martyr. Anyway how many lots of 72 virgins do they have lying around in Muslim heaven if each dingbat murderer is supposed to get 72?
You’d think that Muslim heaven would run out sooner or later; sooner would be my bet when considering the difficulty of sourcing even one virgin never mind a vast multitude of them…then what?
Mount Zion says
If anyone attacking Israelis gets killed it plays into the hands of palestinians who can claim to be oppressed by the occupiers .
If anyone attacking Israelis doesn’t get killed it still plays into the hands of palestinians who can claim to be oppressed by the occupiers.
Nowadays everything seems upside down and this upside down narrative is always backed up by international media .
gregbeetham says
Yeah we know but I’m wondering about him getting into Jannah.
Anyway they’ve got it all ass backwards, it’s the Palestinians who are occupying Israel illegally, there should be zero Muslims in Israel or Judea.
Mount Zion says
Agree
wth009 says
I agree. In fact, there should be protests from All the countries that Islam is ILLEGALLY occupying!

They’ve been playing this card for decades. And this international Child bs are they not alarmed the children are being indoctrinated from birth on hate n killing a specific group of ppl?! Not to mention the above group is most likely a front for $$ into Hamas or the PLO . Now that Joe moved in and released the flow off $$ back to these savages this can only get worse. Bless the IDF.

We all think they are just trying to con us – but I am starting to fear they may be really that stupid. I mean, they really think their texts are divine (killing and raping and robbing and enslaving, oh my!).
gregbeetham says
I think the leaders of the main Arab tribes wanted to design a belief system that could unite the tribes so they could do some more upscale plundering instead of just the odd Roman or Persian caravan, so they came up with this one based on the various belief systems in the area where the real ‘Muhammad’ lived only his name wasn’t Muhammad it was most likely Ilysa ibn Qabisah who was a powerful leader at the time. (he did however have the nickname ‘Muhammad’ and he had to be inserted into the Mecca-Medina story they fabricated later after he died along with the religious concoction they also fabricated)
b.a. freeman says
actually, both the romans and the sasanian persians were using mercenaries, which no doubt included arab armies, since they were well-acquainted with desert tactics, and were good soldiers as well. there is some evidence (don’t have it at hand right now, unfortunately) that an arab general may have seized power in the sasanian empire, then invented the religion to cement his control. it may have been *his* sasanian army that conquered the roman levant.
gregbeetham says
Maybe but who was in charge when the Koran was concocted with contributions to the Hadiths from as far away as Afghanistan? It looks like the Abbasids had replaced the Umayyads by then and I get the impression the latter were dominated by the Persians before the takeover which could be why the Abbasids hated the Umayyads.
It looks like the Abbasids almost had an easy ride because the Byzantine and Persian empires had been at war for more than 30 years and were at a low point, a spent force perhaps.
The timeline of when the Koran was begun could be difficult to pin down; it might have begun to be fleshed out a long time before it became the best selling work of fiction in its day.
I guess victorious armies could grow rapidly back then because you needed to be on the winning side if you wanted to live.
somehistory says
His family is not mourning his death…they will get some money from the pa for his attempt to kill a Jew..and a woman, at that.
If he had succeeded, they would be paid even more.
And, it’s always predictable that the moslim terrorist/murderer is presented as a victim of the person he/she tried to murder. Had he succeeded, and then been killed, he would still be the victim and she the aggressor. It’s the nature of the “beast.” moslims are psychopaths. Psychopaths are never the one at fault when they are telling the story.
But moslims tell it both ways. Had he succeeded, and lived to go to prison for the murder, he would be a “hero” for doing it. So, how can one be a “hero” if he survives his own attacking of someone, and a “victim” if he doesn’t survive? Of course, the moslims still see him as a “hero” for having tried. Just plain evil, is islam and it’s satanic teachings.
tim gallagher says
Good riddance to this Muslim piece of crap. No doubt this dead maggot had been brainwashed with all that filth the Palestinians shove into their children’s minds, as is often reported on here at Jihad Watch The world is a little safer without this murderous Muslim in it. A “child” victim. Oh, Boo hoo. The usual bullshit Muslim victim crap they always go on with. He had the evil mentality of a vicious murderer even if he was only 17 years old.
Check Burry says
He had been Force fed the doctrine since early years.
tim gallagher says
That’s no doubt true, Check Burry. As other commenters have said, the upbringing of Palestinian children is child abuse. He would have had his mind totally poisoned. No chance of being a decent, peaceful human being.

Whenever I hear of a child “victim” I recall the picture of the very young muslim girl (maybe 6-7 yrs old) wearing a suicide vest and standing apart from everyone at an Israeli check point. She is clearly terrified and quaking. It’s the saddest picture I’ve ever seen.
What they do to their children is unforgiveable and pure evil — whether it’s that poor child with the suicide vest or a 17 year old jihadist infused with hatred or young kids sent out to throw stones at Israeli soldiers. Sure he’s a victim but of his hate filled upbringing.
I think it was Golda Meir who said: “I can forgive them for killing our children but I can never forgive them for making us kill theirs.”
That being said self-defense is self-defense and the cameras should show if this qualifies.

Yes–horrible, Rarely. Islam is all about child abuse.

The Palestinians keep miscalculating. Who was it who said “They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity”?
In any event, with the improving relations between Israel and various Arab/Muslim states it may be that the Western democracies will be under less pressure from those Arab states to kowtow to Palestinian sensibilities. The facts in the vast majority of cases like this are well-known but the finger has always been pointed at Israel. Finger pointing may be reduced considerably or even reversed. I won’t hold my breath but stranger things have happened.

At fourteen years of age, I had reached my full height and most of my adult weight, and spent the weekends playing sports against the grown men in out Bronx neighborhood. So, I have yet to be seduced by chronology as the most important criteria as opposed to say size.
And these days, as if to add another unwanted straw to my un-camel back, they’ve invented this whole “undeveloped brain” scam to exonerate young (below 30 ???) criminals in their formative primal years.
We are so lost.

Mateen says
In answer to gregbeetham’s question, Muslim scholars would say that this young, failed jihadi would nonetheless be granted paradise with all its pleasures because of his intention to kill a kafir. According to the Qur’an (Sura 9:111), those who fight in the way of Allah, whether they slay or are slain, are guaranteed paradise by the promise of Allah. Verse 9:111 functions for dedicated Muslims much like John 3:16 functions for Christians. But the difference between them is huge. In Islam the bargain is: Allah purchases your life and guarantees you paradise if you are willing to kill and be killed for him. In Christianity the bargain is: God promises you eternal life if you give your allegiance to the one who died to pay for your sins. In Islam, Allah says, “Die for me.” In Christianity, God says, “I died for you.”

All that is possible is a strict separation line. Unfortunately.
